Not many Barbers have a large clientele range these days, but these gents can handle it all. From edgy, different and trendy, to old school, common and/ typical quick trims...
I've been coming here for two years since I relocated out here to NYC and one of the first appeals to the place was the diverse crowd they brought in, but more importantly over time, it was their ability to remember nearly everyone that came in, how they liked their cut, trim or fade and how thorough they are with each client. I've been to each barber in this shop and they've all been pretty awesome for the most part! Their skill is simultaneously N sync with one another and if there's one just not "cutting it" they're out relatively quick, which is important in this line of work in order to retain your business. They care about the satisfaction of their clients and that to me is key.
On top of all of that, they're just a solid good group of guys, non-judgmental, in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, with a passion for what they do and the people they affect positively on a regular basis.
ALBERT is my "Go To" barber. Closest to the window and just a chill conversational guy, solid family from the sounds of it and that's his passion.
NICK (closest to the register) is one of the more tenured barbers at Aces and on top of his game, all while cracking jokes throughout the day, giving the others a hard time but all in good natured fun.
RAFAEL - the oldest of the bunch who's always looking forward to his next vacation whether it be a cruise or somewhere with a bit of booze.
AARON - cut my hair once or twice and also nailed it with exactly what I wanted.
4 of the most standup guys in the neighborhood and the only 4 who have repeatedly made this hairdo stay on fleek. Thanks Guys!
Check out Aces and ask for Albert, Nick, Rafael or Aaron.
-they're the sh*t, so take a big whiff
