A Guide To LA Restaurants Going Viral On TikTok Right Now

"Verdict: Mamie makes a solid focaccia panini, but there’s no reason to wait in line for an hour on the weekend to get one. We like the sandwiches at Tre Mani and Bread Head even better, and the waits are much shorter. When Mamie opened in summer 2024, we were thrilled that LA’s focaccia sandwich craze had reached West Hollywood. The breezy, counter-service cafe at Fairfax and Santa Monica offers thick Roman-style pizza slices, various cold case salads, and tasty paninis that work for a quick lunch. The sandwiches are the biggest sellers here, made with imported meats and cheeses on buttery focaccia that crackles with every chomp. There are 18 varieties on the menu (including six vegetarian options) but for first-timers, we’d suggest the Monaco with tuna and Calabrian chiles, or the Cardinal with turkey, roasted tomato, melted comté, and artichoke cream." - sylvio martins, brant cox, nicolas zhou

Mamie Review - West Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Stuffing a big focaccia sandwich in your face is easier now than ever, thanks to places like Tre Mani, Lorenzo California, and All’Antico Vinaio. Mamie is contributing to the cause, particularly if you live or work near West Hollywood. This breezy, counter-service cafe at Fairfax and Santa Monica offers thick Roman-style pizza slices, various cold case salads, and paninis worth prioritizing. They’re made with imported meats and cheeses on crunchy, buttery focaccia that crackles with every chomp. Choosing one of the 18 sandwiches on the menu (including six vegetarian options) might give you vertigo, but we’d suggest the Monaco with tuna and Calabrian chiles, or the Cardinal with turkey, roasted tomato, melted comté, and artichoke cream." - Brant Cox

West Hollywood Italian Deli Mamie Makes LA’s Best Paninis - Eater LA

"Mamie, the five-month-old Italian sandwich shop in West Hollywood, offers a menu built on hand-made schiacciata bread. The owner, Mikael Choukroun, uses a traditional recipe from his Italian grandmother, resulting in a unique texture with a crunchy crust and light, chewy center. The venue operates like a European cafe and provides fine dining quality ingredients in a casual setting. Choukroun sources cured meats from D.O.P.-certified Italian producers and local farmers markets for vegetables, creating a variety of panini and pizzas. Mamie also features a coffee bar with Italian brews and a small market with Italian specialty products." - Andrew Watman

The most amazing Italian sandwich in town. The ciabatta bread is made fresh in front of you and baked to order. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The artisanal ingredients in the sandwich are imported from Italy. The ambience is fun and trendy, and the service is amazing. The owner walks to each table to make sure everyone is happy with their meal. Fabulous place. My favorite go to place for an incredible sandwich. This place is very popular and there will be a line. However, there are five or six people making the sandwich so the line goes pretty quickly. Expect the wait about 15 minutes to get your sandwich as it is made to order. It is totally worth the wait.

Mamie is truly a gem in LA. Their sandwiches are absolutely perfect, every bite takes me straight to Italy. The ingredients and the bread are always fresh, and the flavors are so well balanced. It’s honestly one of my favorite spots in the city, and such a good vibe too. Highly recommend!

Google
The sandwich was great—flavorful and generous in portion—but the customer service was disappointing. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend to friends. As a first-time visitor unfamiliar with the menu, I was looking for some help. Instead, the female cashier responded with attitude, repeating meat names without offering any explanation. Yes, I can read the names myself on the menu. A little patience and help would’ve gone a long way. The first interaction sets the entire experience, and part of the job is helping customers, not just taking orders.

Google
Was craving pasta and fish tacos but randomly ended up here cause the smell of the bread was absolutely amazing. Got the Bella panini with fresh basil and a matcha canalé. Ate the canalé cold but still so good. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and filled me up really well, almost couldn’t finish it. Great place to find vegan or vegetarian options too. And I love how the meatless options are a bit cheaper. Looks like a perfect place to bring a date because the sandwiches are great for sharing since they’re cut in half and double wrapped. Can get pretty busy but it seems they do online ordering. Definitely a must try in town and with the amount of food and freshness you’ll receive it doesn’t disappoint at all.

Everyone was very nice! I was visiting from out of state and wanted to find a good lunch spot near the Hollywood sign for after my hike and found this place on line. Very easy to find and food was fresh and delicious. Would absolutely go again!

Google
My gosh, that was a pretty glorious sandwich. I had the Rimimi , the porchetta sandwich. I was not a fan of gorgonzola so had swapped it for the pamigiano. That turned out to be one of my best sandwich I tasted for the year ❤️ I do agree there is a lack of meat, but the overall taste makes up for it. Had the Riccioni I asked to have the parmigiano with truffle cream, it was underwhelming. Pretty much the sun-dried tomatoes dominated the taste. The Viale Priscuitto di Parma ($20). I replaced the gorgonzola with parmigiano cream.. it was probably the best I had so far. The sweet jam , the crunchy pistachio blends so well with the rest of the savory , creamy sandwich. The Viale Guanciale - I swapped the gorgonzola with parmesan cream. The sandwich had a stronger sweet taste to it than the other sandwiches I had before. Be aware, the guanciale is intensely salty. Diva - the stratiatella and mortadella (bologna) combo was the one with the most neutral taste of all the sandwiches I had here. I barely tasted the mortadella out of the sandwich. This was my least favorite one so far. Savoy - Bressaola (cured beef) adds a more intense savory flavor to the sandwich. The grilled tomatoes does adds some tartness to the total taste. My thought it the sandwich was overall a bit dry. I was not a fan of the comte’ cheese. Not a super fan of this sandwich. Di Parma - this is the most expensive of all the sandwich. It is also richest and heaviest one. The burrata and arugula both contribute to the symphony of texture that is quite delightful. There is a strong scent of truffle though the scent does not translate to the flavor as much. The sandwich itself carries a bit of a heavier saltiness. As good as the core ingredients are, it just felt a little extreme taste wise .. and price. Now that I’ve tried it, I’ll prob skip this next time. Parking here btw is a biatch. I went at 4 ish pm Sunday and there was still a 20 minutes line. Update, went on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm ish. No lines! Yay! Finally!

The Savoy sandwich is just next level! Super fresh, packed with flavor and just the right mix of crispy bread and delicious fillings. Plus the place has chill vibes and great service — definitely my new favorite sandwich spot in LA!

Google
I’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches in my life. Some were good, some were great, but Mamie? I’m not exaggerating when I say I had to sit with my eyes closed for a moment just to process what was happening in my mouth. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, like it was baked minutes before I walked in. The ingredients of the sandwich you can tell are authentic and carefully prepared to give you the best sandwich experience. If you’re in LA and don’t eat at Mamie, you’re cheating yourself. This isn’t lunch. It’s an out of body experience in sandwich form.

Yelp
My husband and I happened to be wrapping up something in West Hollywood right as Mamie was opening, so we popped in - and I'm so glad we did. There was already a family waiting at the door before they opened, which felt like a good sign... and it absolutely was. I'm not even a big sandwich person, but Mamie completely blew me away. I'm still thinking about that sandwich. I ordered the Viale Di Parma and it was perfection. Deep, rich flavor, and that fig jam added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the rest. My husband had the Colucci and said it was one of the best sandwiches he's had in recent memory (savory, balanced, and layered). The bread deserves its own spotlight: perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and almost buttery on the inside. You can tell it's baked fresh - which brings me to one of the funniest and most memorable moments of our visit. While eating, both of us suddenly thought we had something in our eyes because things looked a little... foggy. Turns out, it wasn't us -- it was the haze from the fresh bread baking in-house. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. I'm glad I didn't have to wait in line for it the first time, and already can't wait to go back (and yes, I will happily stand in line for this sandwich).

Yelp
I had the Di Parma: Prosciutto Di Parma 18 month, Italian burrata, fresh pesto, truffled cream, chopped pistachio, baby arugula. The sandwich was so good and I added roasted tomatoes. When readings the reviews, people wanted more meat but the amount of meat was perfect. Americans are use to bigger portions in which they need to understand that other countries are not like America. It was a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. I will be coming back when I am in town.
google avatar

Gal E.

Yelp
One of the best sandwiches Los Angeles has to offer. I get the savoy and add the burrata like cheese and add oven roasted tomatoes I add it to the existing tomato it comes with. I wish they'd put more bresola. They're cheap on the protein even tho it's a 30 dollar sandwich. I get it to treat myself. Enjoy Put more protein Mamie!!!

Yelp
Kinda just alright. My bf and I were in town and needed to find lunch before an appt in town. We've tried Al'Antico Vinaio and wanted to try other places that might be similar. I ordered ahead and online and it was a good thing I did. The line was soooo long when I got there to pick it up which was really reassuring. My bf and I ordered semi similar sandwiches. The rimini and vespa are quite similar, but the rimini has some spiciness to it. But really not much. While the ingredients tasted quite fresh and the textures were great, the flavor was quite lacking. The creams and sauces involved definitely needed more substance to them because I feel fresh ingredients alone don't make this worth an hour long drive and $20 per sandwich. However, I did like the combination of ingredients. I'd like to get them again or try a different one, or maybe add some chili oil to some of these.

Yelp
Mamie was unlike any other sandwich shop I've ever visited. I saw it on my tik tok and just had to come for a visit. When I ordered, I asked which was more popular out of the Viale di Parma, or the Viale di Guanciale. Out of the two, the Viale di Parma was more popular. The Viale di Parma comes with Proscuitto Di Parma 18 month, fig jam, crema di gorgonzola, chopped pistachio, and baby arugula. It is pretty pricey for a sandwich but I must say the concoction of all the ingredients made it incredibly worth while. Whenever I ordered sandwiches in general, I will usually save half of it for later, and in this case I scarfed the di Parma down in less then 10 minutes. I can't recommend this sandwich enough!!
google avatar

Zara A.

Yelp
Mama Mia!!! Wow the balance of textures and flavors in the DI PARMA is phenomenal. The ratio and quality of each ingredient was perfect. I felt different flavors coming through with each bite, which I truly enjoyed. It was one deep sandwich and I would deem it one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Feels like a small cafe in the villages of Italy! Even some of the workers were Italian. It's a small to go style shop so indoor seating is limited and the sandwich was $27 which is pricey. But for the experience it was worth it!

Yelp
The experience was lovely. Service was quick. The young lady who took my order, Dorthy, guided me through the menu and was so friendly and patient. The Schiacciata was perfect. My sandwich was shareable but I shamelessly gobbled both halves as I drove down LaBrea. I also ordered the rustic pear tarte. At least I think it was pear. Whatever it was, it was divine.

Yelp
This place just didn't quite do it for me. I loved walking into the store and getting hit with that insanely amazing aroma of the fresh focaccia constantly coming out of the oven. Line went by fairly fast but the one cashier is incredibly rude and has horrible customer service. I didn't get her name but she was the only black female working at the time I went in. No greeting, no "how are you", not even asking if I wanted anything else. And while waiting for my sandwich, she was the same towards everyone. Half the time she just stood there without acknowledging anyone so you didn't even know if you could order yet. Another big issue - no A/C. It was hot in LA. But it was even hotter inside Mamie. All the outdoor tables were taken so I was COOKING inside while eating. I had to eat that sandwich fast because I was just sweating through my clothes. I ordered the Rimini ($21) which had Porchetta, crema di gorgonzola, truffled cream, spicy roasted eggplant, baby arugula. The focaccia is the highlight by far. I would buy just the focaccia alone. But the rest of the sandwich is just okay. The porchetta was thinly sliced and savory but so little of it that you almost couldn't taste it. The eggplants were rubbery, chewy, and bitter. The cheeses were creamy, light, and refreshing. The arugular was fresh. But overall, the sandwich just didn't quite make me feel like wanting to come back.

Yelp
So good! I love the ability to order online and pickup since the lines here can be long. We grabbed the Di Parma Panini and Classic Tiramisu. The sandwich was fantastic; loved the bread, spreads and greens. We'll be back to try some others.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
You don't have to fly to Italy to experience a true Italian panini sandwich. Mamie delivers a perfect Italian sandwich. I had the Di Parma. The focaccia bread is crispy, buttery and slightly salty on the outside and soft in the middle. The saltiness of the prosciutto, paired with the creamy burrata cheese with the peppery arugula and the earthiness of the pesto, The pistachios to give the sandwich some nuttiness and texture and the truffle cream just completes the sandwich. They have an array of Italian sodas. The sandwiches are huge. I ate half for lunch and the last half for dinner. We ordered online and when we arrived our sandwiches were ready. There were maybe 15 people in line, but we just went to the cashier and picked up our order. A few tables on the patio and maybe 4 tables inside. I will definitely comeback to try more food.
google avatar

Naomi L.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype of a great sandwich! It's a little pricey but I felt that the ingredients in each sandwich were intentional, and the flavors complemented each other very well! Service was alright, they did bring us our sandwich to the patio so that was nice! I got the Di Parma and the Eros. I would highly recommend the Di Parma, maybe not the Eros just because it didn't have a wow factor. I also recommend adding fig jam to the Di Parma, it made it even better and adds a balancing element to the heartiness of the sandwich!

Yelp
OMG! THE. BEST. SANDWICHES!!!!! My husband and I tried this place for lunch recently. They make the most delicious Italian sandwiches I've ever had and you can watch them put together your sandwich with their fresh ingredients. It's casual counter-order style with a few tables indoors and outdoors. I tried the Viale di Parma sandwich which has Prosciutto Di Parma 18 month, fig jam, crema di gorgonzola, chopped pistachio, and baby arugula. It was SOOOO good--amazingly perfectly balanced. The saltiness and fattiness of the prosciutto juxtaposed with the nutty crunchiness of the pistachios, the freshness and slight bitterness of the arugula, the sweetness of the fig jam, the creamy and slightly sharp cheese, wrapped in their freshly baked schiacciata bread made up the most perfect sandwich. I will always have cravings for this sandwich!! Even though it was pricey at $20 (which I think is a lot for a sandwich!), it was totally worth it. I would definitely make the drive to come here again. Truly, the star here is their unique bread. Their freshly baked schiacciata bread made from allowing their dough to slowly ferment for over 72 hours is what makes the sandwiches extra superb. You can buy their bread separately as well. They also sell imported Italian drinks/sodas and chips here, which really makes for an authenic Italian experience, almost as if you got whisked away to Italy for a meal. Parking: street/meter
google avatar

Tina M.

Yelp
We got lucky! No line!! Apparently you can wait for hours. Walked right in ! They were super helpful with answering questions and helping us choose. The counter overlooks all the food like through a deli counter. We could see the fresh toppings and veggies. To the side they were making the focaccia bread. Best focaccia I've ever had! Crispy on the outside and the inside was soft. Basic without conflicting flavors. Amazing. The sandwiches were all so tasty. I wanted an authentic sandwich but I don't like Gorgonzola cheese so they substituted for me. Fig jam and prosciutto mmmm sweet and salty! Fresh arugula. The bresaola was salty and flavorful, paired with sun dried tomato I think next time I'm going to have the cardinale with the fig. It's expensive ~about $20 a sandwich but it's reaaally delicious!! It's a chic corner spot, with indoor & outdoor tables. Looks like a good location to meet friends. 100% recommended!!
google avatar

Moriah L.

Yelp
yummmmm!!!! Mamie feels like a cute intimate deli with limited indoor and outdoor seating. I came here on a Sunday, there was a decent line but it went by fast! It's self seating and my party of 3 was able to find some outdoor seating! I ordered the viale di Parma sandwich! It was so fresh and delicious!! The pistachios added a nice flavor and crunch to the sandwich and the jam tasted so fresh, and not too sweet. Overall I was sooo impressed, would definitely come again!
google avatar

Elba G.

Yelp
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A BURRATA BAR? BECAUSE I HAVE!! Ok, this is an exaggeration but the fact that they have the yummy cheese on somewhat display really got my heart fluttering. Mamie has a very attractive display for their ingredients that are used in their sandwiches. I got the di parma and I do not think I can ever have a sandwich that can compete ever again. Its SO delicious and the fact that the bread is freshly baked in house just makes it that much more enticing. It's a very expensive sandwich but worth EVERY dollar. Service is decent. I wouldn't particularly call this a friendly spot but it's certainly not bad service, which I am OK with.. Ambiance is very chill. I wouldn't sit here for hours but if you want to enjoy your sandwich on a pretty day and enjoy time stopping for a split second, this is it. It's very chill. This is a master craft and I will continue to come and suggest this to anyone who loves simple yet quality ingredients.

Yelp
Mamie isn't just a sandwich shop. It's a generational experience. The kind of place where you make eye contact with the bread and whisper "thank you." The Verona? Already elite. But add the truffle cream and suddenly you're emotionally unavailable to every sandwich before it. The flavor? A full-body yes. My tongue clapped. My ancestors approved. Somewhere, an Italian nonna shed a single tear. And the bread? It's a family heirloom. Flaky. Tender. Glorious. The kind of bread that deserves its own security detail. I didn't chew it, I bonded with it. I've had relationships with less chemistry than this sandwich. Mamie is where carbs go to live their best life. Where your taste buds throw a surprise party and flavor shows up wearing Gucci loafers. Vibe? Rustic romance with swagger. Staff? Angels with aprons. Regret? Zero. Final verdict? 11/10. This isn't lunch. This is a lifestyle. And if you're not eating Mamie on Fairfax... You're simply not doing Los Angeles right.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Really great sandwich, I tried the Viale Di Parma which came highly recommended. All the ingredients tasted very pure and fresh, the chopped pistachio gave the perfect crunch, and the bread was excellent. I personally wish there was more prosciutto in the sandwich considering the price and a bit less fig jam as it overpowered the flavors on mine. There was seating inside and outside. We came in on a weekday and managed to snag a table inside fairly easily. There wasn't a huge wait to put in our order, it did get a little busy when we were there, but no crazy wait for a Monday. There's plenty of metered parking along Fairfax and Santa Monica Blvd Overall, it's a lovely Italian sandwich with quality ingredients, just expect LA prices on it
google avatar

Alexandra G.

Yelp
The best Italian sandwiches. I think they got our order wrong but we didn't bother letting them know because the sandwiches we got were delicious anyway. Lol. Can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Heard about this spot from IG and decided to try it. I went with Di Parma, which features 18-month old prosciutto, fresh Italian burrata, some pesto , truffled cream and chopped pistachios, inside of delicious, steaming focaccia bread. A very interesting and tasty combination and you can truly feel the freshness and quality of each ingredient and the chopped pistachios enhance each bite with that perfect crunch. A great sandwich for sure. Having said that, I feel like a $29 price tag is a bit too high. As far as location, it's a smaller, inconspicuous spot in West Hollywood with a cool vibe of sandwich preparation. You order at the counter and you see a production line of employees putting your work-of-art sandwich together. I saw one employee specifically assigned to bread, as he was hand-selecting perfectly made loafs to be sent to the next employee for the sandwich creation. All ingredients are visible through the counter, nothing to hide there, just yummy awesomeness right there on display. Will be back for more!
google avatar

Logan M.

Yelp
Amazing Riccione panini. This place never stops to slap. Staff is so on top of it, food and drinks are terrific, and it's within walking distance. Great neighborhood haven for plenty of lunch treats.
google avatar

Peggy Q.

Yelp
Wow I'm blown away. This is probably the best sandwich I've had in LA. the focaccia bread is perfectly crispy and not too dense. I've had all'antico and I love their sandwiches but I think mamie has them beat. The workers were extremely nice. They even let me sample some of the spicy items to see if it was too spicy for me. The ambiance is cute with both indoor and outdoor seating. Takes a little bit to get ur sandwich but so worth it!
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
I visited Mamie during lunch time on a Saturday. There was a line, but the wait is worth their delicious, fresh sandwiches! You can watch the workers make the schiacciata, so you know it's freshly baked. We ordered the Di Parma and the Viale di Parma sandwiches. The schiacciata bread was heavenly - soft on the inside with a perfectly crisp exterior. The pistachios added a delightful crunch to the sandwich. Both sandwiches featured fresh, high-quality ingredients, which made each bite burst with flavor! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed both sandwiches, but we agreed that the Viale di Parma was the standout. The fig jam was the perfect touch, adding a subtle sweetness that balanced the salty and savory elements of the sandwich beautifully. The price can be a little expensive, but the quality is worth it. One sandwich is enough for 2 servings and we ate our 2nd half for dinner. If you're a fan of sweet and savory combos, I highly recommend getting the Viale di Parma!

Yelp
****4.5 stars A huge shoutout to our good friend Audrey E. A., who recently recommended Mamie in West Hollywood! I had it bookmarked for future reference, in case I was in the area, but by chance, Mamie turned out to be just a mile away. After waiting an hour for coffee at the nearby Community Goods, we were starving, and I ended up trying Mamie much sooner than expected (I had only discovered it the day before)! We were torn between the Viale Di Parma, the Verona, and the Di Parma (Audrey recommended). The fig jam looked so divine that I'd probably opt for that next time. But for this visit, I went with the Di Parma, which comes in at a hefty $27. What I love about Mamie is that you can watch them prepare the paninis right in front of you while you wait for yours. The schiacciata comes hot out of the oven, and then they assemble the sandwich. They don't skimp on ingredients, and it's clear they use high-quality, fresh products. I saw them spread the fig jam generously, add truffled cream, and top it off with a handful of chopped pistachios--something I've never had in a sandwich before. All the ingredients looked so good, my friend and I were salivating over the vegetables on display, like roasted zucchini, spicy roasted eggplants, roasted bell peppers, and the Tuscan artichoke hearts. The Di Parma panini includes 18-month aged prosciutto, Italian burrata, fresh pesto, truffled cream, chopped pistachios, and baby arugula. All sandwiches come cut in half, making them perfect for sharing. The flavors were absolutely delicious--salty prosciutto, creamy burrata and truffled cream, and the crunchy pistachios. Just a texture bomb in the mouth. Orgasmic even. The bread was pillowy soft and airy, the perfect vessel for all the ingredients. It was such a divine sandwich--full of flavor and not heavy at all. Mamie also offers a build-your-own option, starting at $5 for the schiacciata. The cute outdoor patio and inside seating make it a great place to relax, and the staff is friendly. Would love to come back if I had more money. Otherwise, I've been inspired to recreate these at home for a more budget-friendly price:)

Yelp
One of the best sandwiches I've had! The bread of the sandwich is sooo fresh- you can see them making the bread at the counter. All the ingredients taste so fresh- I like the big pieces of the pistachio in the sandwich! The Line was out the door, but it moved really fast. All the workers were really friendly, when we asked what were the most popular. We were able to substitute a different sauce, and they packaged one sandwich into 2 separate orders, which was really nice. Even though the sandwich was pretty pricey, it was a big enough to split between 2 people. There are tables inside as well as a outdoor patio on the outside. Would definitely come back and try a different sandwich!

Yelp
Heavenly experience! Pls forgive me for I have forgotten which sandwich I ordered but you will be find ordering literally any of them because it's all so delicious! HUGE sandwich which makes up for the price :) the bread is amazing, all the flavors and textures just make sense! Got a cute drink and chips to pair with the sandwich and it was a 10/10 meal. Staff were kind, so quick, and we met the owner who was absolutely so gracious and friendly. Thank you so much for a great experience! When I'm in LA I will 100% be back

Yelp
Locked in as a top 3 I've had in LA sando wise. Bruh I need a weekly payment plan to snag one at least once every 7 days, 8 if they add another day to the week. Legendary service even if it's busy it moves. Great spot thank me later, pull up & stay Eatin asap!

Yelp
I finally checked out Mamie on a Sunday afternoon around 12. The line moved faster than expected, and the staff kept things running smoothly. The spot itself is a cute corner café in West Hollywood, and I lucked out with free Sunday street parking. I ordered the Di Parma Panini with no pistachios and truffle chips, totaling $37 with a tip. The sandwich was fresh and big enough to share but a little too salty for me. The burrata and truffle crème were amazing. The chips were good but not worth nearly $5. Would I go back? Probably not. I appreciate the quality and imported ingredients, but for the price, I'd rather sit down for sushi, steak, or upscale Italian. That said, if you don't mind spending $40 on a sandwich and chips, it's worth trying, the food is solid, outdoor patio is cute, and the service is great.
google avatar

Mark E.

Yelp
I only had the Cardinal panini on their focaccia but it was delicious! The artichoke cream is such a light and very Italian tasting cream spread. The oven roasted turkey had a great brine flavor to it. The focaccia is standard but it's not as doughy as other joints and it's a welcome change. Very good. Will be coming back! Thank you Mamie!
google avatar

Sol S.

Yelp
The bread was delicious and the staff friendly, but the wait was a bit long. Unfortunately, the sandwich was underwhelming, barely any turkey or cheese, and the flavors didn't come through. It mostly just tasted like bread and arugula. Disappointing overall.... The individual chips were 5 dollars

Yelp
One of the best spots in LA to get an Italian panini. You get to see how the staff make their schiacciata bread from scratch when you get in line. Expect a long line during lunch time but the staff tend to go pretty fast so you won't be waiting too long in line. As for their food, you can't go wrong with getting the viale or the di Parma. One panini will definitely fill you up. You can also buy italian drinks and other treat. There is limited seating options for large parties so plan accordingly.

Yelp
One of the best bites i've had in LA! Crispy fresh focaccia they make right in front of you with the best meats and spreads. I personally loved the Eros, as someone who prefers salami and my partner loved the Riccione which is prosciutto. The wait is long but worth it, everyone's super nice. There's a few seats inside and out as well, the turn over for tables are quick. Highly recommend! If you know what you want you can order ahead online, but it's best eaten fresh.

Yelp
10/10 wow! Best sandwich focaccia I ever had in my life! Crispi, fresh baked. Clean space. Nice staff.

Yelp
The service and ambiance were great, but the actual food was not as good as advertised by social media users. It was a basic sandwich that lacked flavor. I went with two other people that felt the same way about the sandwiches. Also, the matcha latte was terrible and it just tasted like milk. Would not come here again. Staff were nice, friendly, and helpful.

Yelp
After following Mamie's instagram account for a year and moving back to SoCal, I knew it was time to give them a try. I placed an online order for pick up for the next day. We ordered 3 Di Parmas, a Verona, a Caprese and Viale Di Parma. The shop is small and on a corner. Parking is a little tight but we made it work by leveraging the Whole Foods lot across the street (most of our group went inside to change diapers and grab drinks while I went to pick up our order). Although there was a line out the door, I was able to go up to the counter and tell them I was picking up an order and then left. We drove the sandwiches back to Orange County and though I was worried they'd be soggy, they weren't and the bread was still crunchy despite it taking an hour to get home. The Di Parma is soooooo worth the money. Loved every bite of it! The others loved their sandwiches as well. We'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
I couldn't resist trying the viral TikTok sandwich, and I'm so glad I did--WOW! These sandwiches were finger-licking good. I had the Capriccio Panini, and I think the pistachio crunch in the pesto really took it to the next level. It was delizioso! The only thing I'd say is that it was a bit light on salt, probably because of the burrata, but the sun-dried tomatoes paired with the pesto brought just the right amount of flavor. You can tell the ingredients and bread were incredibly fresh. I just wish they'd open a location in OC--I'd be there every weekend! Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
I had the Capriccio here and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the schiaciatta bread and all the ingredients in the sandwich were fresh. It's vegetarian and included burrata, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, and peppers. Overall, I felt it had a lot of flavor. I also like that they added very small bits of pistachio too--it definitely made it unique for a sandwich made in LA.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches. Bread had a nice crunch and was airy, ingredients were all delicious. Never seen my gf eat so much before

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches, pricey but very tasty. First off, the parking is only street parking but we did not have an issue. The inside/ outside has seating option, it did get very busy as we were there so I recommend coming early. We got the Viale Di Parma and the Di Parma. I liked the Di Parma better, the truffle was difficult to taste. For the 2 sandwiches and no drinks, it was $53 which is pretty steep for a sandwich. They were filling though and we had leftovers. Overall great sandwiches but expensive

Yelp
Tried their famous Viale Di Parma which was quite tasty! The fig jam is very unique and the crushed pistachios are a nice crunch that you wouldn't normally expect in a sandwich. 4 stars because I do find it to be overpriced but the portion size is adequate.

Yelp
Mamie is a gem in West Hollywood and hands down serves one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. It's a fast casual spot with a walk-up counter and a menu full of Italian-style sandwiches that actually live up to the hype. The ingredients are high quality (admittedly too pricey for the veggies) but you can tell care goes into every order. I got the Colucci and subbed artichoke cream for the cheese since I'm dairy free and it was incredible. The wild mushrooms were packed with flavor and the saltiness of the bread tied everything together. I ate it way too fast--it was that good. There's a cute little patio if you want to hang out but fair warning, the surrounding street isn't the most peaceful and sometimes it doesn't smell amazing out there. That said I'd still recommend it without hesitation. Mamie is doing something special and it's absolutely worth checking out.

Yelp
The sandwiches here are sooo freaking delicious! We have been here many times after we fell in love when we first tried it. The sandwich is so flavorful and focaccia is insane! We ordered the Caprese and I have also ordered the Fiorella one which has mushroom and pistachios in it. Its fantastic! Although they are on the pricier side, they are worth it.

Yelp
Just visiting Italy and honestly.....this place might be even better than the viral sandwhich shop all over Italy (and tik tok lol) such a cute store and I'll dream of these sandwhiches till I come back !

Yelp
The sandwiches here are AMAZING! First time here and I couldn't just get 1 sandwich...so I ended up ordering 4! First, the line goes out the door but moves pretty fast! The sandwiches come pretty fast too. I ordered the Di Parma, Viale Di Parma, Eros and Diva. While all of them were pretty good in their own ways, the ones that's stood out the most for me were the Di Parma and Viale di Parma. Di Parma was so good, the bread was baked perfectly and had a nice crunch to it. But the Burrata cheese and pesto truffle cream...OMG I will be craving this until I get another fix! The ingredients were all fresh and top quality! Viale Di Parma is literally the Di Parma without the Burrata and pesto truffle. But does have a fig jam that really stood out. If you don't like pesto or truffle I would opt for this one. The best part is you can add on any topping for additional charges. Can't wait to come back here!

Yelp
If you know me, you know I'm big on sammies! But I just could not get with the hype of this place. Service was great - they were as quick and efficient as they could be considering the line was out the door and seating was hard to come by. They do have a variety of different sandwiches - but it's very Italian and hard to read if you're not into that sorta thing. You have to google/research everything on the menu so you can know exactly what you're getting. We ordered the 27$ Di Parma, in my opinion, it definitely wasn't worth that much. There's a lot going on with flavors but nothing at all at the same time. I was underwhelmed and was expecting more (or maybe something different) taste wise. Prosciutto was salty and chewy, and then you add the pistachios, it just wasn't it for me. I went home and tried to sauce it up with some jalapeños and added mayo - but now it's a completely different sammie. Also ordered the 21$ Rimini - again very pricey for a basic sandwich but this one was surprisingly appetizing. Spice lacked in the spicy roasted eggplant, but there was still a fresh flavor to it. Porchetta and truffled cream come through nicely. It's a good sandwich but for 21$ I can make 6 of them at home with adjusted ingredients. The one thing that I would come back for is the bread! Unbeatable, light, fluffy, crisp in all the right places. And it doesn't leave you feeling sluggish.

Yelp
Oh my gosh this sandwich was actually so delicious and flavorful I want another one asap!!!!! I ordered a custom sandwich with prosciutto di parma, mozzarella, pesto, and arugula. Unfortunately, I didn't know that ordering online via DoorDash was more expensive than ordering in store so my total came out to $35 for the one sandwich. But honestly the flavors and quality of the sandwich was so good I'm convincing myself the price is worth it LOL. The people working were friendly and had lots of energy. The space itself has seating and a restroom.

Yelp
Did not realize I was walking into an influencers hornet nest when arriving at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The shop was buzzing with people saying staple LA phrases like "Phone eats first," and "I adjusted my Ozempic dose this week so I can eat solids..." This is all while the staff is making fresh Italian sandos right in front of you. This spot is following in the Focaccia Italian sandwich craze that's moving through LA and Mamie has quite the variety of sandos and super fresh ingredients. I got the Cardinal, the Turkey option - solid 4.5 stars! You can add different toppings and spreads to adjust to your taste, but I chose to stick with the classic preparation. The focaccia was pillowy and soft with a salty finish, the ingredients were all extremely fresh and rich in flavor, though they were quite shy with the turkey portion. Prepare to wait if you haven't ordered ahead. The line moved quickly, but the wait for one sandwich was about 20 - 25 minutes. (I don't want to imagine how chaotic it is on the weekends) The customer service was great, everyone was very friendly and all smiles. There's a little bodega section with Italian imported treats and staple beverages, and though the inside seating was completely full they seemed to have tables open outside. Parking was easy on Santa Monica Blvd, always a plus. I'd come back, but definitely not on a weekend and would order ahead next time to avoid the wait.

Yelp
While the line may be long, this Italian sandwich is probably the best in Los Angeles. I went with the diva which is one of the few mortadella based sandwiches and it was absolutely delicious. Well balanced, not overly salted, and very fresh. The Di Parma, their more popular and most expensive sandwich was just okay in my opinion. I felt the truffle was unnecessary and the sandwich a bit too salty for my taste (to be expected with prosciutto), but my friend absolutely adored it. I did however like the burrata. It just melted in your mouth. To each his own. The staff is friendly, but expect a wait. You can order online and pick up your sandwich. This is probably the best way to skip the line. The interior is small, but there is outside seating available on the patio.

Yelp
Smashed it here with excellent food, service, and ambiance. This is the best sandwich in WeHo and maybe LA. It was totally packed but we crushed two kinds. The Cardinal (turkey) and The Savoy (beef). Both were incredibly delicious. Anyone who wants a bomb turkey or beef this is the place. I don't eat pork so I have no comments. Amazing 5 star place! Thanks Mamie!

Yelp
Yum! I have yet to try authentic Italian sandwiches in LA and this place was so good. The focaccia bread is insanely crunchy and salty, which really makes the sandwich. Line gets long so try to come early! Sandwich 1: Viale Di Guanciale, a lighter sweet sandwich with fig jam, arugula, chopped pistachios and Gorgonzola cream. If you like pistachios this is worth trying! Sandwich 2: Riccione, I liked this one better, it was more savory but thank you to the Yelper who gave us the pro tip of adding Calabrian Chili spread to make it spicy! This really added something and I probably couldn't order without it now. I loved the roasted tomato flavor too. They have limited seating inside and a small patio outside. Street parking all on Santa Monica and Fairfax.
