Espresso, pastries, beer & wine, dog-friendly patio

"The Downtown coffee shop Mañana Dos is from the people behind Mañana on South Congress, so you’ll find exemplary pastries like kouign-amanns, but here you can also get grab-and-go salads, smoothies, and beer and wine. It's in the Seaholm District by the Town Lake trail, and the space is all glass, concrete, and blonde wood, with a big covered dog-friendly patio. This spot can get a little loud because it sits on the western fringes of Downtown, but it’s generally a relaxed space to hang out or work (with lots of outlets)." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"A downtown coffee shop and bakery hosting a Custard Prison paczki pop-up on Saturday, August 3 starting at 10:30 a.m.; the Polish-doughnut menu will include strawberries-and-cream, fig-leaf custard, apricot cobbler, and a Cinnabon-inspired variation." - Nadia Chaudhury
"The downtown coffee shop Mañana Dos is from the people behind Mañana on South Congress, so you’ll find exemplary pastries like kouign-amanns, but here you can also get grab-and-go salads, smoothies, and beer and wine. On Electric Drive by the Town Lake trail, the space is all glass, concrete, and blonde wood, with a big covered dog-friendly patio. While this spot can get a little loud, because it’s tucked on the western fringes of downtown, it’s generally a relaxed space to hang out or work (with lots of outlets). When you want to take a break to get some Vitamin D, the trails on Lady Bird Lake are right nearby." - Raphael Brion
"Mañana is a coffeeshop in the South Congress Hotel with very good coffee drinks and grab and go breakfast tacos. There are also excellent pastries including kouign amanns and an everything bagel kolaches. Since it's sort of tucked away in the back of the hotel, it's never all that busy, making for a nice escape from the mayhem of South Congress Avenue." - Raphael Brion
"Opening on Sunday, August 14 (with a party the night before on August 13), I learned Mañana Dos will be at 111 Sandra Muraida Way, Suite 101 in downtown Austin. Amanda Rockman, corporate executive chef of parent company New Waterloo, is behind the café, so pastries will include monkey bread, cookies (chocolate chip and sweet potato snickerdoodle), chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, and muffins; other food offerings will include vegan breakfast tacos from Lick It Up as well as cold snacks and sides. For the first time this location will serve alcoholic drinks — natural wine, beer, ciders, and hard seltzers — and Austin Beerworks is collaborating with Mañana to create a lemon lager; there will also be smoothies, coffee, and kombucha. Mañana Dos is taking over the space that previously housed Epoch (opened 2018, closed 2021), offers indoor and outdoor dine-in areas, and will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m." - Nadia Chaudhury
