"The little brother of Houston’s Armandos, Mandito’s brings comforting Tex-Mex to Bellaire with fajitas, enchiladas, chile con queso, and twice-refried beans, as well as its “world famous” burrito bowl. The experience wouldn’t be complete without a drink, so be sure to delve into a margarita, served frozen or on the rocks. If you’re particular, the Make it a Margarita option allows diners to customize their beverages with any agave spirit or sotol on the menu, plus one of five special salts to line the rim." - Brittany Britto Garley

"Armando and Cinda Palacios, the husband-and-wife duo behind Houston’s long-standing Tex-Mex hotspot Armandos and its Italian sister restaurant Lulu’s, have opened a Houston outpost of its Round Top casual Tex-Mex spot Mandito’s. Here, cheese enchiladas, loaded nachos, and fajitas as a given, as well as its highlights like its “world-famous burrito bowl” and twice-refried beans. Tequila fans can choose from the 18 different tequilas from the Mexican regions of Los Altos and El Valle and can even customize their drinks with its fun “make it a margarita” option, where they pick any agave spirit or sotol on the menu and one of five salts to line the rim." - Minh Truong, Sean Hekmat

So the atmosphere were nice, clean & quiet. The restaurant was basically empty had it to myself. Ordered the chicken fajita with refried beans & black beans. I also requested flour tortillas. Tortillas was hard & thin, the refried beans & black beans lack seasoning tastes like it came out the can. The chicken was also lacking seasoning. Ordered a frozen margarita that was the best thing out of the whole meal. I think it was a bit pricey to be a small glass however it was very good. First time visiting for an early Mother’s Day lunch/dinner. Last time visiting as well..!

Google
Excellent airy atmosphere and colorful decor. Drinks were nothing less than wonderful, I recommend the lavender margarita and I don’t even like lavender. Food was close enough to authentic TexMex, not perfect, but very very close. Will return.

Google
Great food and awesome ambiance and decor. Really loved the general vibe here. The photo below is the veggie enchiladas. Wish they had something other than just spinach inside but tbh the taste was great so no complaints there. Will def be back.

Google
if you have a Dino lover like we do, this is your spot!! they have the Tacosaurus Rex! my boys were happy! they loved the food and the gentlemen that assist us was so very friendly, kind to my boys, and very attentive! and he even let us know that the kids get free desserts, now that made their day. The frozen margaritas are delicious!!! oh and their chipssss... they are like hand made or something... that is not store bought chips like they do in most restaurants. they were super crunchy and amazing! I was in the mood for a soup and it was very filling even for the cup just for myself. the staff was very nice in general. Thank you!

Google
I wanted to love this restaurant with all my heart. It's Tex-Mex, but sadly, the food is not the Tex-Mex I am used to. The drinks are awesome. But the food lacked flavor. The queso was the worst queso I have ever had at a higher end restaurant. The blood orange margarita was the best thing I had, and worth the price of admission. We had the chips and salsa. The beef crunch tacos and steak tacos al carbon. The best thing on my platter was the rice. The black beans were okay; the twice refried beans were good once I put some salsa on them. Like I said, the steak lacked flavor. The chips the restaurant itself touts as the best Tex-Mex Chips were really thick, and I only ate a couple. So, in conclusion, pricing is a little high on everything. The margarita was smaller glass for the price than I am used to. But drinking there is good.

First time visiting this restaurant yesterday and EVERYTHING was AMAZING! The food was very fresh and authentic. The staff and management were attentive, kind and accommodating. They even have a fun kids meal so that children can “play with their food”. My daughter loved it!!! Definitely will be visiting this restaurant again.

Google
Your basic Tex-Mex fare executed quite well. Enchiladas are flavorful & filling. Fajitas for one were fine (the beef was good & the chicken just ok). Beautiful interior & excellent service. Most people don't get dessert at Tex-Mex joints (cuz there so full), but the churros here are indeed worthy.

Google
What a cute little neighborhood Tex Mex spot. I was close to my job looking for food and decided to stop in. I ordered the spinach enchiladas to go. So fresh and packed with flavor! The recipe is simple very spinach forward yet very satisfying. I ate it all. The beans and rice were also delicious. You have a new customer!

Yelp
Great food, great service. All six of us had excellent meals. Very nice facility. We will be back!

Yelp
We live super close to Mandito's and it's has become a great place for us to come with our family! We love their happy hour. They have quite a few appetizers and drink specials that everyone can enjoy. The kids are able to get the quesadillas, which are a hefty serving, and the adults are able to enjoy a cocktail! This last time I tried their seasonal frozen drink which was a pina colada and their burrito bowl. We were able to enjoy the outdoor seating which was great for the kids! The salad hit the spot- fresh ingredients and the chipotle ranch dressing was a perfect pairing. The pina colada was on the sweeter side, so next time I will probably opt for their margarita. The service was a little on the slower side but we were taking our time so we didn't mind! Our server was very sweet and attentive otherwise! We will definitely be coming back. Check this family friendly place out with your crew!

Yelp
I personally have a hard time trying new Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. We have such an amazing Tex-Mex scene here, and I find it difficult to beat my favorites El Tiempo and Los Tios. Mandito's was no exception--while fine, it just couldn't quite match up to my favorites. The chicken fajitas, chips and salsa, and margaritas--Tex-Mex staples!--were all good, just not great. And I was pretty annoyed that only three tortillas came out with our order of fajitas (obviously not enough), and they charged us $1 per extra tortilla. But a few good points I have to say about Mandito's: the restaurant was definitely very kid-friendly, and the salsa that came with the complimentary chips had a spicy kick, which was great.

Yelp
Exceptional food and service! My family was brought here with my brother & fiancé while visiting from out of town. The service was next level and everything we ate was so fresh & delicious . My favorite part was the refried beans! So unique but absolutely yummy & memorable! The fajita meat was so tender and the chips were excellent. I recently travelled to Los Cabo, Mexico and the chips I had here were very similar and oh so fresh!! I can't wait to return when I visit Houston again! Thank you!

Yelp
READ MY REVIEW!!! Almost all new restaurants have to work out kinks and this one was no exception to that rule. Having said that, I returned yesterday to have dinner. Let me say that this was a PERFECT 10 / FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE all the way through!! I GUARANTEE this Tex-Mex restaurant will have the freshest TEX-Mex, made-from-scratch food in the city. Coming from me, this is a miraculous statement and I'm brutally honest in my reviews. I intentionally over-ordered because I wanted to put the food to the test. Literally everything was made from scratch and incredibly fresh and full of favor. The service was spot-on! Props to the manager, MacKenzie, who kindly greeted us and opened our door on the way out. We also noticed that MacKenzie is super involved with actively helping the staff complete their jobs efficiently and keeping things flowing. Total team-player and I love to see that!! Major credit to our sweet waitress, Bianca, who was super attentive and helpful as well!! This is now my FAVORITE Tex-Mex restaurant in the city and I challenge any other restaurant to meet or beat the quality I just experienced yesterday. Congrats guys and keep up the great work!! Jobs done well!! Cheers!!

Robert M.

Yelp
Food is very delicious. Service is great and atmosphere is very good. I'm very unsure why this place does not have a much higher rating. I stopped in here because it was right by me even though it didn't have the best reviews I wanted to give it a chance and I'm very glad that I did salsa is delicious. Their chips are homemade and fresh. And my dish the burrito bowl was delicious. The chipotle ranch sauce they make is great

Allison L.

Yelp
Great place for a quick, filling, reasonably priced lunch! I had not heard of Mandito's before discovering this Tex-Mex delight today. Reviewing the photos on yelp and menu on their website, I knew this place was the place for lunch today. Maybelline was my server and provided great service! I will be back for margaritas soon!

Maria S.

Yelp
I found this place through Yelp as I was working nearby. The place is bright, sleek, and colorful. Bianca was my waitress and she was very nice. I began with chips and salsa. The chips are greasy, but they're good. The salsa serving was generous and one of the best I've tried. Though it was just a few minutes past 2 p.m., I was still able to order a lunch special for $10. You pick two of a few things. I picked a cheese enchilada and Baja slaw. It comes with beans and rice. Here's my disappointment. I'm pescatarian. When I finished the enchilada, I noticed tiny pieces of ground beef. It doesn't state so under the lunch specials. I was highly disappointed. Bianca was really sorry. I had mentioned to her that I don't eat meat. She didn't know the cheese enchiladas contain meat which is a chili gravy. She's new at the restaurant. The Baja slaw was tasteles, and so were the black beans. I really want to like the place. If I'm in the area, maybe I'll try cheese quesadillas or nachos. The outdoor seating has sleek contemporary chairs and will be nice when the Fall arrives.

Yelp
Tasty and very vegan-friendly. Great guacamole. Great kale tacos. Good homemade corn tortillas.

Daisy S.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant three times and all were excellent experiences. The staff are super nice and attentive. The food is delicious and always enough to take some home. It's spacious with cute decorations. I haven't had any trouble with parking or getting a table.

Greg L.

Yelp
My go to Los Tios was packed as usual Friday for happy hour so tried Manditos. I think they have gotten past their launch issues. Bar tender was great, I had their seasonal pomegranate margarita. We also had order of large guacamole. It was large! Everything was fresh made and staff was super nice. They have a nice patio with heat which will be useful for a month or so in Houston.

Tia S.

Yelp
I live in the area and had my eye on this place for a while. I had lunch and dinner plans so I didn't want to eat much but wanted to check it out. This restaurant is very well presented. The lanterns, array of color, the fun tees the servers wear, the furniture...all give an island cultural feel. I sat on the patio and ordered 2 palomas. There are misters on the patio that the staff was testing during my visit. It was odd at first because it was unexpected. It also wasn't terribly hot but I appreciated the concept and I think it will come in handy during the next few Houston months. My Paloma was very well mixed and the presentation (like everything else) was on point. I loved the black salt and my server informed me they have a variety of different salts/rim dressings if I wanted something different. I did not eat, however I was debating queso and decided against it. My server asked if I wanted to taste it so I could know next time if I liked it. Let me be honest here...the queso tasted like melted cheese. There was zero flavor or spice so I was happy I didn't order it. My five star rating is for the ambience and service. Don was my server. He was super attentive and friendly. He asked me my name right away and addressed me by name my entire visit. It felt very personal but not the overstepping kind of personal. I'm on the fence on if I will eat here based on my queso sample and the other reviews but I without a doubt will come back for cocktails.

Ashley N.

Yelp
This was our second time here and we're so happy we gave them a second chance! They've taken feedback to heart and really have improved since first opening. We went today for happy hour and it was a fantastic value, chips, guac, queso and margaritas all were excellent in flavor and size. We also ordered street tacos which were very good and had a great fresh lime flavor. Server was attentive and friendly and the layout seemed much better than when they first opened which helped it feel more spacious. Look how big this bowl of guac is!

Jorge B.

Yelp
Great food! The place was nice and clean very clean!!! Best customer service ever! Raymon best customer service, hit him up!!!

Amy S.

Yelp
The decor is great! The chips and salsa were the best thing I ate while I was there. I wish the menu was labeled so I could have known what menu items where vegetarian and gluten free. Thankfully the waitress Natalie was able to answer all my questions about the menu. I ordered the lunch special and unfortunately was not impressed. I felt like the food was very bland especially the black beans and rice. I would go back and have a drink and eat chips and salsa but I don't see myself going back anytime soon. I will stick to my other go to Tex-Mex places.

Amanda G.

Yelp
Unfortunately my review is effectively a composite of a lot of other folks who rated it as subpar. I do want to say our waitress was super sweet and attentive and that the decor is nice. Food and price, yikes. Tl;Dr - a more expensive, less tasty, smaller portioned version of Escalantés (no shade to Escalantés, they're good, but cheaper texmex is readily available). $5 iced teas, $15 house margaritas is insane. We figured we'd give it a whirl though since we were there. Absolutely nothing special about the beverages and for $15, I was expecting a fishbowl - nope, a low ball glass. $12 kids meals .... We passed and attempted to share with the kiddo, and ended up grabbing MOD next door for him after, which was still cheaper than getting food for him there. Tacos Al carbon, hubs said it was fine but not worth the price tag. Tortilla soup - I was incredibly disappointed. I like rice with my soup, but on the side. There was so much rice and almost no broth that it was like a watery dip instead of soup - seriously, I used some of the chips to eat it. $17 for a bowl... Even if the rice hadn't taken over the bowl, it was lackluster. My soup loving child also was having none of it. I realllllllly wanted this place to be good and stick around the area, even if it was expensive, but it just is not remotely worth the price tag $100 with tip for two drinks, a refresqua for the kiddo, a bowl of soup, and an entree and we still ended up getting food elsewhere. Idk if rent is that expensive in the new shopping center, but MOD, Jersey Mike's, Crumbl, Juiceland, Lemongrass etc seem to do plenty of business and aren't exorbitantly priced - Costa Brava is pricey, but they have damn good food where the price tag is justifiable. I am by no means rooting for a place to lose, but I would be shocked if they'll be open a year from now. Genuinely, best of luck to them, but barring a price, menu, or change in both, coupled with a large contingent of reviews saying the same thing - y'all may take the people's opinions under advisement.

Jon H.

Yelp
This place is a great little find. They have a full service bar as well. The prices may be a bit higher, but anymore, what is not? And it is not like it is terribly overpriced- just a little high, in my opinion, based on the portion sizes. The service was very fast. Carlos was our server and he did a good job. The chips and salsa were good and we added queso too, which was great. I do wish we would have been able to add the meat, but I was not aware it was an option as this was our first time. The restaurant is very clean and the location is very convenient right at the corner. While there were no kids while we were there, I don't see any reason that it would not be considered kid friendly. I was conflicted on what to get but decided to go with the tres hombres enchiladas and got a bowl of tortilla soup. The soup was good- the chicken pieces in it were good sized too. The tres hombres was good. My only complaint about any of it was that the refried beans were not that good. A few others' reviews mentioned that it lacked salt and I would agree with that in the beans- everything else was great. The tres leches was also a bit disappointing. It was lacking in condensed, sweetened milk and sort of dry for what I was expecting. The whipped cream topping was too much too and it was bland and not very sweet. I wanted so badly to give them 5 stars but for me, the beans and tres leches was not good enough to warrant 5 stars. I would definitely come back, and probably would order something else just to try other options. I would recommend them!

Tim C.

Yelp
We usually share and today's meal was no exception. My wife got a small tortilla soup, it was very good but pricy for the size. She also got a glass of iced tea, also good but pricy....are you sensing a reoccuring theme yet? I enjoyed the tres hombres enchiladas, very tasty and pricy, one cheese enchy wit' chili gravy, one chicken wit' salsa verde sauce and one picadillo wit' chili con queso, the sides were very good....twice fried beans and average Mexican rice. The service was good. Nice cutlery, I tend to notice things that make the task at hand more enjoyable.

Brooke F.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this salsa! The food here is excellent. It's not too fancy, but it's also not a dump. My family and I have not had a bad dish yet. The fajitas, margs, Spanish rice, burritos, queso, and guac, nothing disappoints!

Abigail L.

Yelp
Honestly, the worst tex-mex I've ever had. What a disappointment! Our friends and I went to Mandito's last night for Cinco De Mayo dinner... The place looked beautiful and promising, but then you get your food and It's either too salty or flavorless. I ordered the tacos Al carbon and my husband ordered chicken flautas - both were MEH. Our friends ordered the fajitas and they didn't enjoy theirs much either. Service was okay, but a bit slow. I don't think we'll ever be going back to this place again. A sad addition to Bellaire. Soooo many other better choices in Houston!

Rauli G.

Yelp
All you people giving 1 star on their first day need to day a long rest and put your phone down. You needed a little time to adjust when you were born also. We stopped by after having a full dinner at another restaurant, just to try the margaritas. It's a new place in Bellaire! Keep them coming! The margaritas were great. Definitely they are worth coming back for another. Plus, they have a great selection of Mezcals and salts. It's a great place to experiment with margaritas. Our bartender was excellent, fun, and interesting. She was Venezuelan and a great margarita/mezcal tour guide. The salsa was great, and the chips were nice, crunchy, and thick, slightly different and tasty compared to other chips around town. We didn't try the food because we were already full. We'll be back. You should definitely visit the bar and give the food a shot!

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Ordered a tortilla for my 1 year old to snack on during dinner. Got charged $3 for it. Nickel and diming customers is not nice. Want to charge me to put a lemon in my tea too? Other thoughts: Enchiladas - plate was hot, the food was not. The enchiladas were OK. Our waitress was nice. Someone could have removed the chips and chip plates at some point.

Janelle F.

Yelp
I have been here a couple times and have never been disappointed. Today we ordered an appetizer box and it was a good amount of food , but also everyone enjoyed it ! I will definitely go back and will definitely keep this place in mind next time I need a large group order.

Dell P.

Yelp
I said I'm definitely going to try for myself despite the reviews. But I'm so disappointed. I had chicken enchiladas there was no flavor. I had to add salt ... to everything !!!! Bland rice and beans . It was my first time here the only thing that was good was salsa and chips .. Beans looked burnt.. enchiladas were dry !! Not pleased at all. 17 dollars for enchiladas was overpriced. Taqueria down the street way better . Next time making the trip to Lopez . I wasn't the only one who ask for salt by the way .. yeah they don't keep it on table . You couldn't convince me to come back ..

Beverly R.

Yelp
Food was very disappointing. Small portions with high prices Waiter we had was not trained properly and didn't replenish water and chips. Won't be returning. It's too bad because ambiance is wonderful and so is location.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
First time trying this place tonight. Not. Impressed. Service was horrendous. Our waiter kept totally disappearing, neither mine nor hub's food was right and it's BLAND. Do not recommend. If they make it till Christmas, we may try again.

Morgan G.

Yelp
The food is just awful.... The guacamole was the best thing we had there. We tried it three different times to give it a chance but just isn't good

Mel F.

Yelp
We came here unexpectedly looking for Mexican food by geographic proximity. Service was great, the host - a young man and our wonderfully attentive, kind server Britannia made our patio experience very nice. We were able to take our dog on the patio and they brought water immediately. We enjoyed the food and hubby is particular. He had a combo plate with cheese enchilada, chicken fajita and a crispy taco. He thought the ingredients were good quality and enjoyed his plate. I had green chicken plate. Very good. Great green sauce, lots of white meat chicken and very much to my liking. We would go back even though it is a bit out of our neighborhood.

Sherry R.

Yelp
Group of 15. Everything was excellent. Besides the manager checking with us many times to make sure all was well, there were 4 servers who worked well together. They were all friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and delicious. The tortilla chips and salsa were outstanding. Warm, crisp, thick and delicious. Our experience was totally positive. We will return.

Aimee H.

Yelp
I have been several times, each time hoping it will be better. Unfortunately, Manditos continues to miss the mark. The service is very slow. The food is ok but expensive (the banana split is not worth $16!). Positives: great chips! The kids build your own taco plate is very good, too! Great atmosphere

Dietra L.

Yelp
Well. They tried! Wanted a quick dinner so we thought we would check it out middle of the week. MOD sat us and was very attentive. Our waitress must have either just started or just unsure of herself. She was sweet and tried very hard. The margarita was good however their food was less than desirable- no flavor and boring. Ordered that beef fajita on the tostada and the first time it came out with ground meat and COLD. The second time it was cool almost like it had been precooked. If this place makes it through the summer- I'd be surprised!

Colin M.

Yelp
Tried Manditos for the first time yesterday and it was amazing!!!! The super grande burrito was very tasty, and I'm not even a big fan of refried beans, so for me to enjoy them shocked me!!! The building was clean, restrooms were also very clean. The service was great, the manager and servers were also very nice. I Will definitely be returning to Manditos. Side note, I don't know how y'all make your tortilla chips but THEY WERE SO GOOD!!!

TC H.

Yelp
First, the food is great! The chips are homemade and the salsa is perfect, not too hot and not too bland. Our entrees were delivered hot from the kitchen with minimal wait on a busy night. I'm normally not a fan of Mexican rice and beans, but I cleaned my plate. Neither the rice nor the beans are the typical, generic versions most restaurants serve. Very flavorful. We had the fish tacos, shrimp fajitas, and enchiladas. All were very good! However... The restaurant needs to work on service. Our waitress was a little flighty. We needed to ask multiple times for a fork and straw. We asked for more chips twice, which finally arrived...after we were finished with the meal. During busy times, the restaurant needs to assign one wait staff to refill water and iced tea. It's ridiculous that the wait staff has to walk all the way to the back of the house to get a water refill. And then back again for a soda refill. Then back again for an iced tea refill. Then back again for a straw... At the very least give the manager two pitchers and put him in charge of refills. The night we were there the manager did nothing but wander around the restaurant and talk on his cellphone. Not once did he interact with guests. When you have a young, inexperienced wait staff, the manager should be visiting every table at least once. We'll be back to Mandito's again for the food. The back of the house is running perfectly. The front of the house needs some work.

Brenda A.

Yelp
The chips are exceptionally thick not at all . The margarita was served in an old fashion glass, the bottled margarita s in wine department at grocery are just as good, The staff is first rate all were very attentive.ordered the tres hombres the cheese and chicken were good the ground beef way to salty. They are very close to my home, and provide me alternative.

Joshua G.

Yelp
This place has some serious work to do if they want to compete in a very crowded Tex-Mex market. It felt like the ownership just wasn't ready for the onslaught of Bellaire families on a busy intersection in an area begging for more convenient family dining. Appetizer came out with main course. Cheese on the nachos was barely melted and ground beef was missing seasoning. The cheese enchilada on my lulu combo plate was solid but my wife was right when she said the chicken tacos that came with it was just a tortilla with chopped chicken, nothing else. The effort was clearly being made in the restaurant. You could tell there were multiple issues and staff were doing their best to rectify late food and missing items. I will give this place one more shot likely as I don't think Armando won't go down swinging! Sometimes it's hard to give a 2 star review when a place has only been open a short period but it's a tex-mex establishment in Houston, TX and this is not the first outpost for ownership. Step it up or you won't be around long. Too many alternatives folks will be willing to make the drive for. Rooting for you to turn things around!

Yelp
The following review is a text message I sent to my sister after she thanked me for bringing her leftovers from Mandito's which opened a week ago in Bellaire. It's at corner of Bellaire and S. Rice. I have been dying to try it since before Christmas, and was thrilled that it was finally open. We don't eat meat, and my sister is all allergic to tomatoes, which was explained to the waitress. I also explained to her that I was ordering two meals with the intention of taking half of the food back to my sister. I figured the rice would have roommates (it did), so I ordered the vegan black beans for both meals. I ordered the spinach enchiladas and mushroom tacos. "We'll see if you thank me after you've tasted it. I didn't get through a whole enchilada. The spinach is fresh but overall, very bland. Also, I ordered the mushroom tacos, which came with fresh tomatoes (a lot of them), so I ate them. They weren't better than the enchiladas, I just knew you couldn't eat them, because of the tomatoes. I do not recommended the tacos either, the corn tortillas taste like the packaged ones at the grocery store and somehow the mushrooms were dry. The black beans have zero discernable spices (ie. straight out of the Sysco can) and the rice is dry like it's sitting under the heat lamp all day, and also flavorless. I dumped the salsa on the rice when I packed it, in the hope I could eat it for lunch tomorrow. The salsa tastes good and it's fresh, but has no kick. The tortilla chips were fried flour tortillas - yes, flour. This place is actually worse than Rancherito on Braeswood. The decor is nice. It's bright and has a nice view of the Bellaire trees and the intersection, and the waitress who served me was great. " The food presentation and atmosphere are good, so I hope they up their flavor and spice game, because that is what makes Tex-Mex wonderful.

Xandelyn W.

Yelp
Big shout out to Brittanni! She was so knowledgeable and thoughtful! She really made our experience lovely! The atmosphere was really nice. We loved the patio! For the food: The food lacked some flavor. Everything was presented so nicely and it looked so good. I wish there was more seasoning and better flavor profiles. We ordered the street tacos, chicken enchiladas, and burrito bowl. Service was great! I think this restaurant has potential to create a true all around experience.

Yelp
Good food! New extended happy hour with a great bar with fun cocktails. Good chips and salsa, friendly staff. They have made adjustments since they first opened so I would recommend giving them a second chance.

Yelp
I was excited to have this place open by my house, unfortunately it was a disappointing visit. It's a really nice place, amazing patio and our server Ninive was very attentive and friendly but the food was less than stellar. I ordered the spinach enchiladas, it was basically a bunch of not seasoned spinach wrapped in a luke warm tortilla and topped with a bland green sauce. The rice was crunchy and flavorless, I will say that the charro beans were delicious. If I do go back it'll be for a drink but not the food. I'm disappointed because I wanted this place to be my go to since it's so close to my house.

Yelp
Really enjoyed it here. The place is very nice inside. Loved the quality of the dinnerware. Bar is very nice as well. Had the chicken street tacos and they were flavored very well, similar to pastor. Very tasty! Dessert was also yummy.

Yelp
I felt like it was like any other Tex-Mexican. The drinks were nothing to blow a horn for (margaritas). The food had no flavor and any other restaurant would do better. I will not come back; I will go back to Gringos. Sorry, I think the hype got to me and was expecting more.

Yelp
The food is always so good when we come. The chicken fajitas are delicious! WE also had the skinny spicy margarita and it really good. Definitely a place to go to when in Round Top!

Yelp
So happy with tonight's meal at Mandito's in Bellaire. New menu with lower prices, and luckily still have the "famous" burrito bowl with Beyond Beef as well as the crispy tacos with Beyond Beef. Luckily, the cucumber mint margaritas are as good as ever!!

Yelp
The drinks, service and food were excellent! The prices were fair. The ambiance was good. Cute place.

Yelp
New menu looks great. I really enjoyed the street tacos and margaritas. Ambiance is a plus! We also learned that Chef Anthony prepared our food and it was outstanding. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Holy smack down! He wanted Tex-Mex, so he Googled it. This was the first place that came up. I got the burrito bowl and he got chicken fajitas. No time for pics because we dug in. Our server, Brittanni, made me a glass of sweet tea because they only have unsweet. She didn't tell me to "add sugar." Best dang sweet tea I've had in a long time...and yall know I love me some sweet tea. If you find yourself in Houston, go to the Rice Village District. This place is a must. 5 's #ManditosTexMex #RiceVilllageDistrict #HoustonTexasUSA

Yelp
Let's take into consideration they've only been here about 2 weeks now, When we arrived the restaurant was pretty empty , we got sat down right away & took about 10 minutes for the server to come to us, they were also pretty distracted during the whole meal. As we were placing our order we had to repeat ourselves a few times (keep in mind, it was empty so it being loud wasn't an issue) we ordered queso as an appetizer, my husband ordered a hibiscus Paloma which honestly didn't have much alcohol in it, was very watered down, & this was after we asked the waiter for a replacement. Our main entrees came out rather quickly, I ordered a big burrito & my husband the tacos asados , he really loved his food while I on the other hand thought my food was a but room temp, could have used more flavor but over all good was OK. I don't expect to come back here for a few months and just hope the food and service gets a bit better.

Yelp
Totally disorganized, employees not trained right, bad food, overcharged for drinks, expensive all around, and a one hole women's room. They need to get it together before opening a restaurant. Pic is of mole enchiladas--there is no sauce at all. No mole. Asked for double rice instead of beans &was charged extra for the second serving of rice, and got beans that I didn't want. $19 for that plate! Hubby's burrito was dry ground beef, not picadillo. So annoyed, and over $100 tab for 2 people. To MattJ: please don't reply, just fix your issues. That should keep you plenty busy.

Yelp
Fantastic food! Wonderful margaritas. Try the spicy version of your favorite margarita!
