The Best Lahmacun In North London - London - The Infatuation

"Like Ustun, Mangal Pide in Dalston is a lahmacun and pide salonu. It’s a room that lives and breathes flatbreads, straight out of its wood-burning oven, straight into your greedy hands. Lahmacuns are surprisingly hard to come by around here, despite the amount of Turkish restaurants, and maybe it’s because Mangal have got it covered. Freshly rolled and considerately topped with mince - it won’t let you down." - jake missing

Where to Eat in London This Weekend | Eater London

"A sparsely decorated, long-standing institution for the local Turkish community, this modest venue quietly excels at pide and lahmacun. The standout is the lahmacun: an ultra-thin base spread with a spoonful of tomatoey lamb sauce, finished with feta and parsley and eaten with a lemony, crunchy salad — a simple, deeply satisfying and very affordable lunch option." - James Hansen

Excellent dining experience where I was treated exceptionally well. I asked for a reccomendation of the best vegetarian food and I certainly received it. After finishing, I was gifted a complimentary tea. Definitely reccomend this place if you're in the area

Highly recommended I just finished eating a Turkish pizza and a lamb kebab that were out of this world, two delicacies at a price you can only dream of in London. I was expecting something good because it had been recommended to me, but what I ate exceeded all expectations. The ingredients were very good, and there can only be two reasons for this: good quality raw materials and skilled hands that know what they are doing. Congratulations, it's worth crossing London to eat here. Every time I come back to this city, you will be a regular stop.

Aaaaw, best Turkish restaurant East of London. Honestly, their chicken soup is one of the best we ever had! Also lentil soup is delicious and served with fresh warm bread. The lamahcun was fantastic, so was the delicious cold beer! Highly recommended 👌 Also, very reasonable and super delicious!!

Really great service, food arrived quickly and it was so delicious! Yummy bread and salad as a starter that they offer you which makes it feel like a good value for money place. Toilets are also incredibly clean.

Probably the worst Turkish restaurant in the UK. I visited on Friday evening, and the experience was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was completely empty, yet one of the staff members threw my handbag on the floor, claiming that “there shouldn’t be an empty chair.” That level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. There are so many great Turkish restaurants in the UK — this one is definitely not worth visiting. Extremely disrespectful attitude towards customers. Never again.

The Lahmacun was thin, crispy, and was not greasy. It was packed with amazing flavors. The ayran drink was thick, creamy and fresh, just how it should be. My partner from Istanbul insisted I try the Lahmacun and I was really impressed! It had met his high expectations, especially with the proper wood-fired oven. The chef deserves praise! The customer service could have been more welcoming and attentive, though they generously provided extra lemon wedges and pomegranate molasses.

Went to two times and both great experience. Their lamb is exceptional. Also good for quick breakfast or lunch with lentil soup and bread.

Yelp
Never again should you search for a tesco sammich lunch deal with this across the road. In fact I implore anyone reaching for an egg n cress on white in a prepackaged box, I'd like you to think of me squeezing your earlobe and marching you into here, quickstep. Turkish Pizza of sorts....Just kneaded dough, wood fired thin and crispy with a smattering of rich lamby ragu, fresh salad and lalalalahlemony juice drizzled over some crumbly feta and chopped parsley, wrapped in a convenient open biodegradable wrapping. Bingo! Yum and ONE POUND AND FIFTY of your hard earned pence!!!

Yelp
For it serves, this is the perfect place. I have tried their great tasting lahmacuns more than once and it is always fantastic. They serve pides also but I always think that they take way too long to skip a lahmacun, so I never tried pides from this outlet. But I guess that they would be great.
