Favorite pizza spot in Ybor. They sell slices individually as well as deli should garlic knots. Perfect after a night out. Bryce at the front counter always makes sure you get exactly what you are looking for.

These guys are truly by far the best pizza in the Tampa Bay Area and probably the whole United States. They are always professional, proved great service, make fresh delicious pizza like if we were in Italy 🇮🇹 and have reasonable prices for their pizza. They are the place to go when you’re hungry for some pizza in Ybor City late night! I love coming here! They are also very family oriented as well. They will take care of you.

The best chicken wings and garlic bread I ever had in my life. I recommend trying the chicken wings, buffalo amazing sauce. It’s not too hot it’s not too hot. It’s the right amount of sauce. And I also recommend trying the garlic bread. It’s one of the best garlic bread I ever had.😋 the workers were very kind in Mangia Bebe pizzeria

We ordered Mangia pizza via Uber Eats very late in the evening on a Sunday. We originally ordered from a different pizza place that was supposed to deliver to us at the JW Marriott Water street. The other place cancelled our order right before we were supposed to get it delivered. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get pizza at all. We ordered from Mangia not sure if it would happen again but they came through. Not only that- but the pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks were AHHHMAAAZZZINGGG. Hot, fresh, cheesy, tasty, delicious. Thank you so much for coming through and getting us the perfect nightcap to go with our card game and drinks in the hotel lobby. My mom and sister and I were so grateful.

Had pizza delivered to our hotel room through the slice app. The pizza was delicious and they have a really good salad as well. I would definitely order again if I was in town. The only thing that could have been better was I ordered extra sauce and didn’t get it.

To me it’s this is the best pizza spot in Ybor I love their pizza I will always come back . Found this place last year after Thanksgiving 2024 and I got twice a month!! OMG a hidden gem! They have the BEST Jumbo Garlic knots EVER!! 100000/10. Oh and the Bianca Pizza!!! (chefs kiss)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The food is soo yummy and customer service was amazing, the guy working the counter was so sweet and patient with me and gave me good recommendations he talked about his favorite which was something i never tried and it was soo good! flavor was great not to salty or expensive which i also liked. 10/10 experience!!! one of the best pizza places in ybor!

Here you can find the best pizza in all Ybor City. There's nothing better than to stop in here on your way in or out the club. The space is tiny but ideal for a quick line to order, grab, and go. They always have friendly service and delicious food. Definitely will be visiting as many times as possible.

The most authentic New York things about Mangia Bene were the take out only service, the cash only, and the hole-in-the-wall look. The pizza was good, but the crust was being choked off under a layer of thick cheese that got in the way of any magic happening. The crust was thin and tasty, but the sauce and cheese came almost up to the edge leaving very little pizza crust unexposed. And the crust WAS the highlight. Really good sauce too, just not enough. All ingredients individually were very good, unfortunately, the ratio was off. New York pizza besides thin crust has a THIN layer of cheese. Still, Mangia Bene satisfied enough to pass the bar for good pizza.

If you are in downtown Tampa, this is a nice place to swing by to grab a slice of pizza. Although they do not have seating, the interior was nicely decorated. The line was out the door given the space was small, yet the worker was quick to provide service. We ordered a slice of the thin crust buffalo chicken pizza and the margarita pizza. Both were a generously sized slice and had a thin crispy crust. If you are into night life at Ybor it is in walking distance and is open late!

Get a side of garlic sauce on the side and it'll make everything here a 10/10. Wish it was cheaper sauce or they put more on the knots but it is what it is

Had 1 slice and 1 piece of cheesy bread stick from here a few weeks ago and been thinking about it ever since. We stumbled upon this place while parking to walk the strip in Ybor. We decided to have a slice to hold us over. Going inside we see the slices and was going to be against it cause they don't look to appealing but the cheesy bread looked good. We ordered 1 slice of Bianca and 1 slice of cheesy bread. Never asked price. He put it in the oven and when it was finished he rung us up .. 10.00 I said whoa! How much is a slice ? 6.00 he said! I'm like dang and the cheesy bread was 4 bucks WTH .. I was about to say nah I'm good! And walk out .. but we needed to eat something before we got to where we was going ... Let's say I'm glad I didn't ask the price upfront and did not walk out. Every bit of that slice me and my lady was like dang this is good pizza. The pizza crust had the perfect crisp and the cheesy bread was crisp with a generous amount of cheese. We absolutely recommend

Sooo Mangia Bene Pizzeria has twice been clutch during this stay at home order. I was really surprised at the low reviews. I can only speak for what we have had. The food was well packed and on time. For now this will be one of our main choices for pizza and wings. I hate Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos, etc... So this makes it hard to find places to order from. I have ordered through UberEats and over the phone. Both times my order came correctly. Hopefully we continue to have a good experience. What was ordered: Margherita Pizza / 10 Hot Wings Margarita Pizza = Not too greasy & not too dry. Very tasty. Hot Wings = Sooo yummy I wanted more

Stopped here for wings because they are advertised. I asked about them because there wasn't a menu readily available. I was asked how many 6,10, or 20. I asked for 10 mild. Then I was asked about payment of cash or card, I asked what was the difference and told nothing as I go to pay I'm then told that a card is $1 more while that's nothing to me that is the difference. Why I say that then I'm told well there's no chicken because of the crowd which there wasn't anyone in the establishment but myself and the workers. I don't mind that the establishment put the card charges on me but tell and let me decide. Then the owner gets upset and refuses to do the order. Never again will I visit the place. Unfortunately I didn't see that the Yelp reviews were less than before I got there

DO NOT ORDER! Bizarre and disgusting delivery experience. After long wait, and delivery driver asking where I live (it's not at all hard to find), he spends several minutes with car parked in my driveway. He finally hands me the pizza and says to "enjoy your yummy yummy pizza." What shows up is beyond description (I'll try to upload photos). It's completely destroyed and hardened into place with pieces of pizza turned folded multiple times over themselves. I don't believe it would be possible to do this accidentally. I called pizza place and they said they had had issues with that driver so offered me 10% on next order. CRAZY. I threw it all in the trash and am disputing with my credit card company. STAY AWAY!

4 out of 5 stars. Stopped in here during Gaspiralla because the next street was closed and we couldn't get to where we originally planned to go. Small area with just enough ordering space, but nowhere to sit. No big deal. The young guy taking our order was very inattentive and we had to ask for a few things twice. HOWEVER, the pizza itself absolutely made up for all that!! Oh my gosh it was the best pizza my girlfriend and I ever had!!! I knew as soon as it was a small place and somewhat lackluster service that the food was going to be great and it was!!

Stopped by on a Thursday night and picked up a pizza to go. The guys working were super nice and the pizza was delicious!!

We used their online ordering service and they charged our card but never delivered the pizza and other items we ordered. We've called the online ordering service and they won't refund the money until they speak to the restaurant, the restaurant refuses to answer any phone calls. It's been 3 days and our $50 still hasn't been refunded. Do not order from them unless you're willing to take that risk. At the end of the day $50 isn't going to ruin our lives, but it's the principle of it and imagine who else they're doing this to?

The best NY style pizza in Tampa hands down. If you are looking for that mom and pops shop that will serve you the best hot and fresh Italian classics then come here. I feel like home (NJ) when I walk in the door. The nook in the wall place that has it all! I always get the NYer pizza when I come and feed The Whole family!!!

Not a bad pizza at all. I ordered the deluxe pizza and it had the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. A nice taste to it. Probably could use a little more seasoning in the dough. Cooked perfectly though! This was takeout and delivered by as third party but the order taker was pleasant. Great tasting food for mr!

This the best pizza hands down in ybor city it doesn't stop there because they offer a full menu of other items I tried the chicken Alfredo,and the Philly. The food as well as the service was great and the staff was very friendly and patient with new customers like me who ask a thousand questions . If you are in the ybor city area give them a shot you won't regret it.

Mangia Bene Pizzeria is the original New York Pizza no doubt about it, I had the best Pizza in town and will be a regular. Excellent service and cleanest place I been to in Tampa!

I ordered catering for 95 people and the food was delicious! Two lovely ladies arrived and set everything up. They even stayed to changed out the empty pans with fresh, hot food. The bone-in chicken was moist and the stuffed riggies were excellent. Everyone loved the mashed potatoes and veggies. I'll Defintely use them again!

Harassing people at local hotels. Pushing flyers under doors at local hotels trying to get new customers because they are desperate to save their failing business. I recieved one new flyer for every day I was at my hotel. 15 days! The hotel started arresting these people for trespassing due to their actions, and respect for other businesses. If you decide to give them a try even when they have these horrible business practices, you will see that their food is just as bad as their service, and business practices. They even buy fake positive reviews on Google to try and keep themselves afloat and looking good to unknowing googlers. It's impressive how these people treat customers and think that fake google reviews and unwanted advertising, boardering on harrassment, will save their failing business.

The flyer in our hotel room says the name is "Taste of Italy Pizzeria Ristorante " at this address and phone. We are at a hotel and this company had a flyer in the room. We ordered a pizza and a six pack of Diet Coke. Delivery time: one hour. For one pizza? Pizza arrived at our room without a receipt. Um.. we need the receipt for business expenses. We ordered "The Works". Which has garlic as the last ingredient but garlic is the only thing you can taste. I would search for another place to get pizza and avoid. It was better than eating cardboard and cheese, but not by much.

Horrible experience! First I ordered delivery to our hotel, special of 2 pizzas w/two toppings each, needed one cheese for kids & asked to add one topping of the two I wasn't getting on the cheese to other pizza and they said no ! Then delivery guy called to meet him outside of hotel? Never had a delivery person called & ask as what's the delivery fee and tip which in this case exceeded 30% of order cost? Besides the lousy customer service, the food was just bad ! pizza was blah...stale garlic bread. Don't waste your money on this place...the drive thru at any fast food joint will be a lot better and fresh.

First time customer here from out of town ordering from a hotel. Quick delivery at 3 am on a Wednesday! Food was good and so was the price. Not sure why everyone here is so rough on them. Philly Steak Calzone was incredible.

We've only gotten the Stromboli from here so far but I got it once and enjoyed it. Then my wife and I got some one day and enjoyed it. Then the next day we got more Stromboli because the leftovers were too delicious. Highly recommend!

This spot is authentic and hits the spot! Fair pricing, delicious food and located right where you need it. Right by 7th st. Ybor bars! Definitely check it out!!

This is like a 4.6 out of a possible ten, and that's not a good thing. Two decent bites followed by a slice that was cold and doughy the rest of the way. Pretty gross. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! I should have used Yelp to check the reviews before ordering off the flyer I found slipped under my hotel room door. From the moment they answered the phone they were short and "impersonal". I ordered wings and a six pack of soda to meet the advertised $15 minimum for delivery. It should have been $16 plus tax and he says it will be over $20. I was starving and it's a company expense so I don't question the obvious non-advertised delivery charge. They gave me an estimated delivery time of 45 to 60 minuets. Again, had I checked Yelp I would have noticed that they were a good 20 minutes away. There are 10 other pizza/wing places much closer. They arrived 65 minutes after ordering. And of course, no plates or at least napkins. When will restaurants with delivery learn to include napkins when delivering to hotels? While the wings were unexpectedly still warm and some what tasty, I've not seen such small wings since the last time I ordered from Dominos. Certainly not worth what came out to $1.45 a wing after delivery charge and tip. I learned my lesson and will always consult the amazing Yelp app prior to ordering I won't be back.

Worst pizza slices in Town! We picked up two slices after a night of Ybor drinking and they still tasted terrible. They even had the nerve to charge $4 a slice for this crap. Fake garlic taste and greasy. You don't want to spend your money here!

Don't waste your time with this place. We placed an order and it took forever to arrive My husband realized he gave them the wrong hotel (definitely our bad) so he calls and let's them know. We were told they were not too far away and would be here soon. Another 35 minutes go by and still nothing. My husband calls back and finds out the cancelled our order. They didn't bother telling us they were doing so. To top it all off, they refuse to give us a refund because we ordered from a 3rd party. Which again is incorrect because we ordered directly from their website. Horrible, horrible customer service. The person on the phone was very rude and short and wouldn't let me husband get a word in. Stay far away from this place!!

So you're in town staying at a downtown hotel, skipped lunch, and decide that a mid afternoon pizza will tide you over until a late dinner. Luckily, one restaurant has provided not one, but two brochures under your door, and that organization would be Taste of Italy. I search my trusty Yelp and see a bunch of other crummy reviews, but as I recall from "Wedding Crashers," "It's pizza baby, it's good no matter what," So I order and am advised of a 45-60 minute wait because Gasparilla is going on. At 65 minutes, the trusty delivery guy appears at our hotel room. Immediately I think, this place is old school-he didn't keep the pizza in one of those pizza warmers that appeared in the 80s and they're close so it's hot. Not so. Not only was it cold, but not really crappy tasting. Way too garlicky and weak on toppings. Within a few hours the revenge of this pizza struck with a feeling like a day after hangover. That stuck with me the entire next day. Educate yourself. Maybe their eat in is ok, but if you are downtown and want pizza ordered to your room, don't call this place.

This is one of the best pizza spots in Ybor. The people treat us like family. Definitely recommend coming here for a couple of slices !! An employee who stood out was Max.

If it was possible to make negative 100 stars this place would win hands down!!! Outta town, tired from the drive and the hotel suggested this place. Ordered at 6:48 and told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. Called at 8:06 cause headaches were coming on. Told by the girl that the order was just being made and she didn't know when it would be leaving. "Maybe it would be done in another 15 minutes, which I can't guarantee." Not even adding the 15 minutes it would take to get here. Starving and pissed cause our order was over $30 and all we were told was that "I didn't make the order so I don't know what happened." She sounded like she just layed down her joint to answer the phone. Probably why they have 1 star. 2 flipping hours and order hadn't even left the building.

It wasn't too bad. What really pissed me off was the fact that the asshole delivery guy tipped himself! I swiped my card for what I was told to pay then looked at my receipt as I was sitting down to eat & there he had put in an unauthorized tip. Don't get me wrong I ALWAYS tip but don't bring it upon yourself to tip what you feel you deserve! I'll never order from them again.

The worst customer service ever!! As with everyone else, my hotel room had a flyer indicating that a pizzeria was available for delivery. Because the flyer had a website where you can order online, I proceeded to place my order. I receive an email confirmation with a 45 minute delivery time. Let me cut to the chase, after a two hour wait and no pizza on site, we remained hungry. I am not upset because the pizza did not arrive on time, however, I was upset due to the incompetence of the staff. At the one hour mark, I called the place and I was informed without any confirmation that the delivery was out and should be there shortly. I waited another hour and called again... after numerous dropped calls, over 20 minutes combined on hold, I was told that my order was never "ordered". Remember, I ordered online. When I asked for the Manager (which he never gave me a name) his customer service skills were subpar at best. Come to think about it, no one never gave me their name. When I asked for a refund, I was told that because I ordered online, and they haven't used their e-commerce in quite sometime, I needed to contact the website. Funny thing is that the website takes me back to the phone numbers I dialed for 2 hours trying to figure out where was our food. If you took the time to read this, do not order from them. Save some time and sanity and go somewhere else. Straight up garbage~! If anyone from management read this and would like some feedback, feel free to contact me.

Incredible pizza! The crust is perfection, great flavor and perfectly crispy. The white pizza is phenomenal. Food is super fresh and delicious. Best pizza around!

If you stay downtown, this will be one of many flyers you'll get under your door. They are passing them out because tourists are the only people that will order from them. They are definitely a one time establishment because the ordering process was a challenge, the delivery charge was large, delivery was late (yes it was Gasparilla night but I asked specifically if it was going to be a problem before ordering), and the pizza, garlic knots and wings were all terrible. I've had great pizza at the Precinct before, though I think it had a different name and they didn't pick up the phone when I tried to call them. So I don't really have a recommended alternative, but if you order from Mangia Bene (whose flyer makes it look like it's called Taste of Italy), you will be disappointed.

If you like to get charged $324 for four slices of pizza and two bottles of water and than get disrespected when you call to complain this is your pizza joint. But whatever it's a drunk spot. I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened.

--TOURIST BEWARE-- Words cannot adequately express how awful this place is. The owner's are crooks, the employees are not much better. The pizza is awful. They will take advantage of you, steal your money, and then refuse to help when you call them out on it. They don't "keep records" and they "don't have email" so I am actually not even sure how they're a legitimate business. Seriously. Don't waste your time or money. Google reported rats here, which was learned after the fact. Disgusting.

The worst delivery and customer service. Placed an order online, had my credit card charged, called after 1.5 hours and was promised my pizza was on the way any minute. 30 minutes later, called back again for them to not be able to find my order and to hang up on me after I asked for a refund after waiting for a pizza for 2 hours that never came. Avoid this place.

I am one of your traveling frontliners here who was extremely exhausted and hungry after coming off 4 straight 12 hour nightshifts. I ordered $40 worth of bone-in wings from this place yesterday. When I received my order, the wings were dry and left overs from the day before. I threw them all in the trash! I tried to call them several times...and for some reason they would not pick up the phone. I am stationed here for 6 weeks and will definitely not be ordering from this dump again! You lost my business Mangia Bene!!! I will definitely go back and apologize to my co-workers for turning them onto this Ristorante.

Save your money! I ordered for the first and last time from this place last night. They left a menu on the door so I thought I would give them an opportunity to earn my business. I ordered an extra large cheese pizza. $18 before delivery. The pizza: The pizza was very thin, tasted loke cardboard. Price: This pizza should've cost no more than $10. Even at that price I would say save your money. Delivery service took well over 45 minutes. This is the worst pizza in Tampa.
