Coconut Is Everything in Seychelles’ Creole Cuisine | Eater

"A contemporary Creole restaurant led by chef Nadine Moncherry that reimagines island ingredients with refined technique: fresh coconut milk and cream are used to soften red snapper for a mango-and-coriander ceviche and to finish panna cotta, while other dishes showcase traditional coconut flavors presented with modern touches." - Tyler Zielinski

Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach. Very quiet and peaceful and the pool area was awesome. A bus stops right outside and costs only 50 cents a ride or $1 per day to ride into the main centre and beyond. Tavern right across the road and small supermarket across the road for essentials. Cannot recommend enough. 😄😄😄

Mango House is a great place for a true tropical Queensland experience. Only 5 minutes from Airlie Beach, it’s an ideal location as it’s away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for all that Airlie offers. The resort features a huge pool, with spa and kids’ splash pool, surrounded by lush North Queensland vegetation. Our room was spacious and clean with all mod-cons plus a comfortable bed. A compact shopping centre ( supermarket, cafe, post office, ATM, laundromat) is across the road, Jubilee Tavern only 200m away and nearby bus stop ( 50c fares ) make Mango House a very convenient holiday stop. The resort manager is welcoming, friendly and able to offer local tourism advice. Highly recommended for a unique tropical Queensland experience.

What a fantastic resort for a stay in Airlie Beach. Just 5 minutes from town with bus, shopping centre and pub at your doorstep. A large clean pool surrounded by tropical Queensland vegetation creates a relaxing holiday vibe. The living room and bedroom were spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows ensured a comfortable night’s sleep. A very friendly and helpful lady at reception gave us a warm welcome and assisted with local tourism advice. Highly recommended for a true tropical Queensland experience holiday.

Location is really good! Pool is nice and clean. But there are few minuses as well - there is no internet connection and the rooms can’t catch the 4G or 5G. The kitchen in the apartment is not really clean. There are no sponge to clean dishes or something… and it is really loud at night. All the birds and animals! Oh my!

Good place to stay, not too far out from the main town area. The room had all your basic needs if you needed to cook, only downside would be that the stove tops need an upgraded as ours keep losing heat. The Tavern down the road( short 2 min walk) is a must do for dinner. We went twice, and both times, it was fantastic. We be back on the future

From the moment we arrived, Pam the host was so friendly and bubbly and very knowledgeable about the area. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the pool is devine. We loved sitting on our balcony and enjoying the surrounds. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect location with shops across the road and a pub with bottle shop also across the road, not to mention a bus stop very close by out the front. Perfect location, perfect setting , perfect host - we can't wait to stay again.

Date: Friday December 8|Time: Afternoon arrival|Duration of stay: 1 night||Upon arrival at the resort we received keys for adjacent rooms: 28 Poolside and 28 Treetops.||After unlocking the door to 28 Treetops I immediately came to the realisation that the room had not been serviced! There were objects left behind, the bed was unmade and there was dirt on the bed. Somewhat dismayed I returned to Reception to voice my concern. I was very polite and understanding. As my business partner had ducked out to get some provisions for our stay and had left me his key I was advised to try to access 28 Poolside room to see if this was acceptable? ||I unlocked the door to 28 Poolside only to find it was still occupied which immediately made me feel very uncomfortable! By this time my business partner had returned and I informed him of the situation. We both went to reception to try and find a suitable solution to the problem. We were polite and considerate in our approach, however after having driven over 1000 kms that day we were feeling a little inconvenienced to say the least.||There were now no adjacent rooms available and we had to make do with adapting to the obvious displacement! The attitude of the reception staff was relatively unconcerned which only added to our consternation. We felt that as a gesture of goodwill the management should at least make some concession rather fobbing us off with a compromise to our original booking.||I felt that the quality of the room did not by any means warrant the cost. The furniture was old, with laminate peeling off the coffee table, lights that did not work, wear and tear was clearly evident throughout, dirty glasses and toilets stunk, reflecting a general trend of poor upkeep and maintenance.||We will never stay here again and highly advise anyone to look elsewhere if you want clean, friendly accomodation in Airlie Beach .|
