Chung Chun Rice Dog Opens Its First Seattle Location - Eater Seattle

"Mango Mango Dessert — a popular New York-based chain with 14 locations around the country — has officially opened its long-planned spot in Bellevue. Known mainly for mango-filled treats such as shaved ice, pancakes, and panna cotta, the shop also has some other sweet dishes, such as papaya snow fungus and almond soup. It’ll also be competing with Redmond’s Hui Lau Shan for the hearts of Eastside mango lovers." - Megan Hill

Everything mango! I absolutely loved the food this place serves. Finding parking on a Friday night was rough. So we parked in a paid public parking spot near Chase bank near downtown Bellevue park. The ambience of this place is pleasing but the staff was a little less friendly. They kind of rushed us to order. Since we already knew what we were having, it was not a big deal (hence, the rating - otherwise it would have been a 5/5). As I mentioned, I loved the desserts and would surely visit again! 😊

It wasn’t the best dessert 🍨 The mango wasn’t blended thick enough so it was more water down mango? But it would be good for those who’s sensitive to sweet and loves mango 🥭. The place was a bit messy though. Behind the counter and near bathroom. Parking: street

This is a direct comparison of Mango Mango Desert v.s. Hui Lau Shan (许留山), since they offer very similar selection of HK style desert. Both place have clean and bright interior, and the service staff are quite polite. Mango Mango's pricing is slightly cheaper, but their mango desert doesn't taste as good as Hui Lau Shan. The quality of their mango are not consistent, some are sweet, others are not fully ripe, which has no taste at all. Their Mango pancake however, is quite delicious and in very large portions. The biggest issue with Mango Mango is their super slow service. I came in at 12 PM, right after their store opening time, ordered one combo, and it still took them 40 minutes to have it ready, which is unacceptable. As comparison, it never took more than 5 minutes to get my order whenever I visit Hui Lau Shan.

Fantastic desserts with a huge menu. We found ourselves here twice in 3 days after trying it our first time. Mango Mango has a lot of options including vegan options so anyone should be able to find something they enjoy here. It’s refreshing to see mango dessert places popping up and this one definitely lives up to the reputation. I highly recommend visiting.

Good service and fashion interior. Similar to places in Japan or Taiwan. If you visit Bellevue downtown park and don't want to wait in line at Molly Moon for a ice cream, I recommend this place. We had a green tea and red bean sundae, mango smoothie, and mixed fruits with Jasmine tea. All we're very good. The Jasmine tea was refreshing and not particularly sweet. While the other two were pretty sweet.

The Oreo milled crepe was divine! I recommend it over the mango one, funny enough. The mango one is also incredible but also is very stringy, like the mango itself wasn't ripe yet when it was put into the crepe cake. This cake is crepes stacked on top of each other with mango cream in-between each crepe. So good! The mango smoothie-o was full of real mango pieces and jellies.

The servers are very nice. There was no hour info online so we were there 20 min prior to their open time. The servers still let us in (it was cold outside). The dessert was delicious. We had one dessert with durian which the durian flavor was very heavy and good. The mango dessert was awesome too with grass jelly. We also ordered the lavender tea. It not very hot. Not sure if that's is the required temperature for brewing or what, but I prefer a hotter tea.
