Mangosteen's chicken Shop

First met Thai last summer when we were both doing an event together for Friends of Little Saigon. That was the first time I tried his fish sauce wings.. perfectly crunchy, evenly coated, and every bite carried that balanced sweet savory pop that makes a wing feel complete. One of those “oh shoot okay this is different” moments. Their storefront is officially in soft open now, so of course I had to run it back. Tried the honey garlic teriyaki, gochujang, sweet chili, and of course the fish sauce wings that started it all. Every flavor stayed consistent, crispy, intentional, and full of character. Also got the Avo Mango, fresh avocado blended with mango and coconut milk. Creamy, tropical, not heavy, just smooth and refreshing. And Thai made me a classic milk tea himself, clean and balanced.

I really enjoyed the food here. The fried chicken wings were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the meat was juicy and not dry at all. The Hainanese chicken rice was flavorful and well cooked, making the meal very satisfying. They also offer a wide variety of drinks. I especially loved their Avo Mango smoothie. I’ve never tried an avocado and mango combination like this before. The creaminess of the avocado mixed with the light tangy taste of mango makes it refreshing and well balanced without feeling too heavy. Overall, it’s a great spot for delicious chicken dishes and fresh, well-made drinks. Highly recommend!

ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS FOOD IS FIRE. Best viet chicken wings I’ve ever had. Shaken beef with garlic noodles is DELICIOIS. Avocado smoothie is addictive!!!!! I got another one lol.

Fantastic! Chicken rice was flavorful and had all the fixings. Comparable to Singapore. Definitely try the garlic noodles - one of the best I’ve had!

I got an order of the fish sauce wings, lemon pepper wings, and a mango lover smoothie. All of the items were amazing. The service was awesome and the place was lovely. This was my first time and I will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend!

Fantastic Mangonada 🥭 🥤(candy straw!) and wings to share. 🍗 It's true that 90% of people like the fish sauce wings who don't even like fish sauce. They are sweet, tangy, crispy and crunchy. Good music and nice service 👨‍🍳🎶

This cơm gà xối mỡ looks amazing! Crispy golden chicken, flavorful rice, and that chili fish sauce on the side—perfect combo.

I stumbled upon this place while in the area. I had their garlic noodles w/ chicken and their mango avocado drink… both very good. Clean and comfortable place. I shall be back for more!

So glad they have a physical spot now! I always get wings when I see Mangosteen at festivals! The chicken is always delicious! Super crispy, juicy, and flavorful! Their drinks are also tasty but no textures. Service is very friendly and efficient. It can take a little while for the food to come out but that's expected with the soft opening. They're still working out the kinks. Super chill minimalist environment. Great place to grab great food and catch up with friends. It's in a strip mall with a bunch of other businesses and they don't have their sign up yet so it's a little tough to find. But they do have a parking lot and they're right across the street from the Othello link station.
