had ordered matar paneer curry from your restaurant. When it was delivered, it looked fine with gravy, but as soon as I reheated it in the microwave, the entire curry separated into oil and water. The dish turned into just floating oil with no proper gravy left, which made it completely unappetizing and unhealthy. The quality of the curry was very disappointing. For the price I paid, I expected proper restaurant quality food, not something that looks so bad after just one reheat. Please improve the quality and consistency of your gravies.

I’ve been a fan of Manahor Delhi Palace for many years, long before they earned their well-deserved Michelin recognition in 2025. The food has always been consistently outstanding. The paneer tikka is full of flavor, and the garlic naan is soft, fresh, and absolutely addictive. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This has been my go-to spot for authentic Indian food, and I couldn’t be happier to see them finally getting the recognition they deserve. Highly recommend to anyone who loves real, flavorful Indian cuisine!

The food was delicious. Had the garbanzo bean Curry. The naan bread was delicious. The service left something to be desired. The waiter seemed to be very upset and hardly said a word.

As we waltz towards the entrance, I turn to my dear wife and inquire, "Are you certain this is the place?". Lo and behold, we step inside to a scene straight out of a high-society drama: tables adorned with pristine white linen and, oh, the pièce de résistance, red handkerchiefs nestled within the water glasses. Classy! But wait, there's more. Just as we settle into our seats, the server graciously presents us with not one, but two take-out menus, one of which has clearly seen better days. Really? Out of the plethora of menus at their disposal, they choose to grace me with a filthy one? How utterly thoughtful. But fear not, dear reader, for the saga continues. Our server, whose linguistic prowess rivals that of a babel fish on vacation, kindly offers a suggestion. Bless his heart, we thought, as we naively accept his guidance. Fifteen minutes and $73 later, our feast arrives, enough to sustain a small village for days. Don't misunderstand, the food was undeniably exquisite, but alas, we found ourselves drowning in a sea of leftovers. Oh, the trials and tribulations of gastronomic indulgence! Rest assured, we shall return, but next time, we'll trust our own culinary compass. Cheers to dining adventures and dirty menus!

Literal hidden gem as the entrance is a little hard to spot, only a door and a lit sign. Entrees come in smaller bowls than other Indian spots, but flavors are well worth it! + Chicken Tikka Masala ($20.95): noticeably well-seasoned, a brighter orange color with chunks of chicken, onion and bell pepper. Mild was perfect! (8.8/10) + Lamb Curry ($19.95): savory, lamb meat really stands out. (7.6/10) + Rice Pulao ($8.95): loads of peas and onions and flavor, perfect with our entrees (8/10) + Tandoori Roti ($1.95): crispy, buttered vessel for our entrees (7.8/10) + Mango Lassi ($4.95): not too sweet, good mix of mango and yogurt flavor (8.6/10)

I'm no Indian food connoisseur by any means, but man this place was delicious. I got the vegetable biryani and chicken tiki masala. The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside but very clean and presentable inside. The staff were friendly and the food was ready quite fast. Definitely worth trying

I was very excited to eat at this restaurant since trying it from a catering experience at my cousin's house. I was also told they're very popular for catering, so naturally I assumed it would be even better in person. However, I found out that a lot of this food is made in bulk, with similar bases and elements like food coloring (I went with a friend that is allergic to food coloring). The food in person was similar to the catering food, mild, lacking in true complexity and flavor. The outside seems like a very sketchy area, but the inside at least seemed nice till I noticed some ants and a couple flies buzzing around. Below is a breakdown of the food: 3/5 - Shahi Paneer: creamy and very pretty to look at, but not much in terms of flavor, very disappointing. 2/5 - Garlic Naan: oddly flat naan besides the edges, very mediocre. 3/5 - Kadai Chicken: lacking in any real complexity or flavors, just like the Shahi Paneer. 3/5 - Paratha: pretty average, nothing amazing or terrible, just average. 1/5 - Onion Bhaji: completely lacking in flavor or any other ingredients, literally a basic version of fried onions (just a decent amount of salt in the batter). Food: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 2/5 Value: 2/5 Overall: 2/5

This is my family's all-time favorite place to eat Indian food. Their naan and butter chicken is our go-to meal. My son and I have been coming here since he was 9 years old. My husband and I have built rapport with the waiters.

Worst establishment ever! Unprofessional. Yelp states that they open at 11:30am. Got there around 11:40 to see the guy locking his door as we rushed to the door to ask a simple question of when they will reopen, the staff decides to play hide a seek. We were calling and knocking as we saw one of the staff peaking through the kitchen door. He could have atleast come and tell us that they decided to close for the day or what not... unprofessional... why remodel your place when you are going to have your workers run this place to the ground. BEWEAR!! This is a common issue.. it happened to us a few times already... opens when they want to and close as they please... never updates their time... most of their negative reviews is based on this.

Parking is easy to find as it's in a quiet plaza. The large red sign outside says "M. Delhi Palace" and that's the spot! I have ordered take out from this restaurant a couple times and each time everything has been delicious. When we arrived, our food was ready for pick up and the staff were nice. The interior looks much nicer than exterior. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Recommended!

We ordered catering and had a great experience! We fed about 80-120 people and everything was packaged well and still warm after 1 hour commute. Ordering- Super easy and helpful with recommendations. Price is great! Food- AMAZING!!! Probably best Indian food in the area. We ordering Chicken, Lamb, Spinach, Lentils, Rice. The Buttered Chicken is the BEST! I haven't visited the location to eat but everyone says its 10/10.

I'm so excited to find a local spot that offers delectable Indian food. I called in a takeout order Friday night and picked up my food 20-30 minutes later. Samosas (4.5/5) - one order comes with three perfectly crispy samosas filled spiced potatoes. These samosas have a slightly stronger ginger flavor which I wasn't a fan of. Butter chicken (5/5) - rich and creamy with chunks of chicken & some bell peppers. This was my favorite dish. Tikka masala chicken (5/5) - flavorful tikka masala gravy with chunks of chicken. This was equally delicious. Aromatic rice (4/5) - we were given more than enough rice and thoroughly enjoyed it with our entrees. Garlic naan (5/5) - naan with plenty of garlic to soak up our sauces and enjoy with our meal Aloo paratha (4/5) - I saw this on the menu and ordered it on a whim. The paratha had a thin layer of spiced potato and was tasty. The restaurant was homey inside with dim lighting for diners. The smell of rich spices could even be smelled in the parking lot. Our dinner was well wrapped and arrived home still hot and contained to their containers. Manohar's is a new regular for us.

I'd been on the search for a good local Indian restaurant and I'm happy to say I've found it in Manohar's Delhi Palace! The food is authentic and delicious while the staff is attentive and hospitable. My husband came for dinner and ordered a bunch of our favorites including: - Butter Chicken (5/5) - Flavor was on point and the portion size of tender pieces of chicken were generous! For those who aren't too familiar with the cuisine, this is such a great gateway dish to introduce you into the wonderful world of Indian food. - Matar Panner (5/5) - Amazing as well and one of my favorite Indian dishes! Matar paneer has a similar tomato base as Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala but the flavor is quite different with their use of spices and also features some sweetness. The chunks of paneer and peas soak up the flavors beautifully. A must order! - Tandoori Chicken (5/5) - We got the half order which came with a wing, leg, thigh and breast. The chicken had been marinated for long time with its usual spices and came out very tender and not dry at all. It's a great dish to enjoy alongside your other curries. - Garlic naan (5/5) - Gotta have the naan on the side to eat alongside your curries! You really can't go wrong with this, the naan bread was fluffy and chewy yet crunchy in some places with the perfect amount of garlic. My husband ordered the lamb vindaloo but since I don't eat lamb, I didn't try it. He did enjoy it very much though! We really went to town with the ordering and had enough leftovers to make another meal out of it at home. Besides the above mentioned, we also got basmati rice (because of course!), a mango lassi which was super refreshing and a nice creamy balance against the spiced curries, as well as an order of Gulab Jamun (Indian spiced donuts in syrup) for dessert. Everything I'd highly recommend, as there was not one item I had here I wouldn't order again!

Local surprise!!! Indian food ideal for sharing or a banquet or company event. Food: We had the chicken tikka masala, 2 orders of garlic naan, tandoori shrimp and veggie korma. Serves about 3-4 people comfortably. The chicken stays nice and juicy, curry was ordered mild. I would increase the heat next time but great flavor. I recommend you eat it with the naan and top it with a little of the tamarin sauce. Veggie korma was a good blend of peas, green bean and carrots. Again would increase the heat. The tandoori shrimp is the best, by far. Served on a hot skillet with lots of onions. Top with the tamarin and green sauce provided. I highly recommend it. Service: We got there at opening and it got pretty busy quickly (so you know it's good). Service was quick and the food came out timely. Location: in the most unexpected location. In a small shopping center off Azusa in la puente. Parking: plenty of parking in front of the location. Notables: dishes are intended to be shareable so order about 3-4 dishes per group of 4.

We ordered the butter chicken, chicken curry, and tandoor chicken, as well as paneer kulcha and garlic naan. Everything tasted super flavorful, and the chicken was soooo soft!! Our personal favorites were the butter chicken because of how creamy it is and the paneer kulcha. The servers were also very nice and gave us suggestions on the menu. Will definitely recommend to my friends and come here again.

Great customer service, love the food it's my wife's favorite. This is our not so local... local Indian restaurant. We live in Covina and there is nothing else like Manohar's food. Love the butter chicken and the fresh naan.

Hey, I ordered take-out from Manohar on March 1st 2024, around 5pm. we found pieces of metal wire in the Aloo Gobi. We think it came from a metal scrub used to clean the cooking equipment. We will not be ordering from this place again.

My brother's friend recommended this spot and we never really eat Indian food but decided to change it up for once and we're so glad we did!! We ordered two Butter Chickens, one order of Samosas (3), and some rice & naan bread of course. I ordered over the phone and scheduled for pick up. They were so kind to even throw in some rice pudding for dessert. The portions were surprisingly pretty large and we probably could've been good with one butter chicken because we got full off the bread very quickly lol. They packaged everything very well and made sure to wrap everything securely since a lot of the food is very saucy. Overall, the flavors were great. We got mild because we weren't sure of the intensity of the spices but we probably could do medium next time around. The Garlic Naan was huge and they were pretty generous with the portions as well. Definitely satisfied with everything!

The food and ambience is good here. We're huge fans of good Indian food and our friend recommended this place which is out of the way. Having said that the food, quality and pricing was good. We will be back and the staff offered food service. Overall, the Mixed Grill and butter chicken were great. We took other dishes to go. I wish they'd have a lunch time buffet too! We will be back.

A hidden gem! Don't be discouraged by its location and the restaurant frontage; the inside's ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable with tables well spaced out. I ordered the lamb curry encouraged by my very attentive server Rohan, and aside of the curry well balanced flavors, you can still get a hint of the lamb flavor. I will definitely come back and try a different dish!

We wanted to try some Indian food nearby and we happen to stumble upon this gem. It is located inside a plaza next to a meat shop, but don't let that discourage you (it did for us at first since the location was off). Once we ordered, the servers were very attentive and always coming around asking if everything was okay or if we need anything. The restaurant has wonder decor and they have quality cuteries. The food was also so flavorful. The chicken Masala was so good I wish I ordered one to go. Definitely coming back again!

Recently ordered food from Manohar's Delhi Palace. The food was so good even my family complimented how delicious it was. The staff was very nice and attentive and the restaurant was clean, bright and beautiful. What I ordered: Chicken tikka masala 5/5 : so good and portion size was huge. Garlic naan 5/5: fresh and piping hot with lots of garlic Samosas 5/5: didn't think I like potatoes and peas but it was delicious Sauces (6/5) : my order came with 2 sauces, both really elevated my dinner. I was so surprised because I've ordered similar orders at other restaurants before and never received any with my order. The green and brown sauces were so tasty that went it perfectly with everything!

The chicken tikka masala, saffron rice & samosas are soooo goooood!!! Especially with their green and tamarind sauce. Addicting !

Food - 5 stars Staff - 2 stars Cleanliness - 5 stars I went there last night with a friend because another friend told us it's the best Indian food in town. She was not wrong. The food is outstanding. We had chicken tikka masala, which was so flavorful. It was my first time having yellow dal and i enjoyed it. The veggie korma was the star of the night - it had this amazing rich creamy buttery sauce but so few vegetables. The rice dish was very tasty and the garlic naan was perfect. However, the portions were so very small for the price. This was easily one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had a restaurant they were practically harassing us to order. We are two busy moms who managed to get out for the night, and we were in no hurry, but at every opportunity the restaurant staff rushed us. I can't tell you how many times they asked us if we were ready to order, even though we had never picked up the menus. They even asked if they could take our plates while we each still had a fork in our hand. Oddly, when we were finally done eating, I had to yell for someone to come over and bring us boxes for the leftovers. After I signed the check. I pushed back my chair to stand up and heard the door open. A waiter was holding it open, motioning for us to leave. It was 8pm on a Thursday night. We spent a decent amount between us so I was surprised that they were working so hard to rush us out. I have never felt more unwelcome, uncomfortable, and unwanted in a restaurant. Sadly, I will not go back. I'll retreat back to the Indian restaurant in La Habra, which has a B rating on the door. At least they want our business and the food is almost as good.

The food here was delicious. Located in a very nondescript strip mall near Valley x Azusa, I was pleasantly surprised by the tastefully decorated interior of the restaurant. They no longer serve the lunch buffet others have posted previously here. So, went with ordering standard dishes like palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. All were delish!! I look forward to visiting again soon to try more items.

Yum!! We ordered a chicken tikka masala & butter chicken with 1 serving of rice. While their descriptions on the menu sound similar, the difference in taste is definitely noticeable. Would recommend either of them. The server was super helpful in letting us know that 1 portion of rice is more than enough for two people (thank you!) I loved reading about their ambitious mission to bring authentic elevated Indian food to La Puente. Their use of fresh ingredients & fancier dining experience contribute to the higher prices. I would still say that it was totally worth it! :)

First time we been here and probably not the last. The outside is not inviting at all and neither is the location. However once you enter it is very nice. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food was great and presented beautifully. The portions are more than enough. It may not look like at first, but the servings were very good and actually had leftovers. Well worth the price. Can't wait for later to try the other dishes.

In the area, like I often am because of the course at Pacific Palms. I was in search of samosas.... I came across this place, noticed they close at 2:30 and reopen at 5pm. It was 2:16 I was a bit hesitant but gave them a shot. Called in an order for samosas, I even said if you can't do it because of the time its no biggie but the gentlman that answered was very kind. He said, Dont worry, just knock on the door and we will have it ready. I was only 2 mins away, waited an extra 5 for them to finish the order, walked around took some pictures, sat down, read reviews and thought.. OOoooo I need to give them another try and order a meal, next time around! Samosa's delicious with a kick both chutneys great althought the portion size is a bit small 3 for $7...

This is the second time I have eaten here bc I live in Sacramento. The food was excellent! The butter chicken was so savory and melts in your mouth and the tandoori chicken was very moist. First time I had the mango lassi drink and loved it!

We're glad we stopped by. We live nearby and had to try it. The butter chicken is fantastic! So creamy and flavorful! Their curry dishes are also just as fragrant and tasty. Never had an Indian beer before; that was nice too. The garlic naan as well is freshly made! You gotta give this a try you won't regret it.

Through the many years of eating here, I've done the lunch buffet, dined in, and carry out during a pandemic. Lunch buffet: It's a hit-or-miss situation. Often the food is really good, and other times it is okay. The lunch buffet, in my opinion, is a good start if you are new to Indian cuisine and wanted to sample the most popular menu items. However, the food is better when it is freshly prepared, and if it has been sitting for a long time, it might not be as good representation of how great that item could be. So, if you've tried their lunch buffet before and thought it was meh, try ordering something directly from the menu! I would recommend the butter chicken, aloo golbi (cauliflower & potato), tandoori chicken (half order is 4 pieces), and garlic naan (of course! an order is 2 pieces). Call in your order to get it started right away. They do have online ordering but the prices are $1 more and there is some type of convenience fee that's added on at the end. For my last order, it was about $4. I saved over $10 by just calling it in.

The food here is amazing very authentic taste The service was not too bad considering that their English isn't that great.. The restaurant is never really open I have to blame it on management. Every time I have gone there the manager/owner is always sitting in the corner doing accounting.. Service wasn't good. I ordered over the phone and the man wasn't helpful nor seemed happy I was placing a phone order. Went to pick it up and sat there for 30 minutes even though they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. It was my first time trying Indian food and I wasn't a fan. Both my daughter and I had severe stomach aches. The ambiance in the restaurant was okay it was empty.

I have been coming here for at least 5 or 6 years now for amazing Indian food and 5 star service. Way back when, I remember leaving work early and wanting to try something new; seeing they had a great price and selection for lunch buffet, I had nothing to lose. The moment that butter chicken touched my lips, I was in a flavorful bliss! There is nothing here that I would not try because it is made with so much flavor and quality ingredients. Ever since that day, I rave to everyone about how amazing the food is. My family was skeptical about trying a new cuisine, but my consistency with going there for lunch was enough to convince them that the food really is THAT GOOD. It seems a bit intimidating to order from a menu that is new and unfamiliar, but the owner is such a sweetheart and will gladly explain any questions about the menu, flavors, and spice levels. With current circumstances, the lunch buffet is not available, but a la cart is well worth it. I look forward to the champagne brunch being available again, too. My absolute favorite dishes are the chicken Tikka masala, palak paneer, malai kofta, and after last night's wonderful dine in experience, the curried shrimp, with one side of the delicious rice. I always order extra garlic Naan because it is just so good and toasty, plus any left overs make a great surprise! If the food is ordered spicy, a cold mango Lassi helps extinguish the heat. I drive from Rancho Cucamonga to La Puente for this food - it is THAT good. I have tried others with good reviews, but this place is #1 and I would rather wait to eat here than be disappointed elsewhere.

So I went back to this lovely restaurant to try something different. Great service, efficient ordering ,relaxed and calm atmosphere. I ordered their samosas and lamb biryani spicy with garlic naan. Wow ! The flavors spices and herbs are so explosive. Their spicy does mean spicy but it doesn't mean flavorless. This dish felt authentic and bright. What an awesome addition to your Indian food cravings: I can't WAIT to return to try something else !!

10/10. Called and ordered takeout. Had the butter chicken, rice, garlic Naan and samosas. Samosas were flavorful and was very good. Butter chicken was cooked perfectly. Garlic Naan did not disappoint. Garlic galore, and Naan was soft.

New favorite Indian restaurant. We called in an order and I picked it up after work. As soon as I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by a wonderful aroma. Made me even hungrier. Took about 2-3 minutes before anyone greeted me but as soon as they did I got my food very quickly. We ordered the samosas and vegetable pakoras as well as a mixed grill plate, garlic naan and gulab jamun. Everything was great. The pastry for the samosas was amazing. The meat on the mixed grill plate was very juicy. I don't think I've had tandoori chicken that wasn't dry before. The garlic naan smelled great and was soft but chewy. Overall, I'm definitely going to need to come back here for their other foods. I wish I had some pictures but I was starving and the food smelled too good to wait.
