"Barbecue that doesn’t break the bank? Check it off the list at this laidback West Dallas spot, which features heavy wooden decor and a glass garage door front that lets the sun in. For $15, you can get a brisket melt, brisket tacos, a loaded baked potato with brisket, or sandwiches laced with sliced brisket or pastrami brisket. A choice of side is always included." - Courtney E. Smith

"Can a rustic, dive-y place serve brunch? You bet your bottom dollar. This West Dallas spot with a focus on brisket and burgers (and aviation history) does a mean brunch, including $4 mimosas and $3 house Bloody Marys. Pair that with brisket migas, a pork belly and goat cheese omelet, or pulled pork huevos rancheros for a great meal." - Courtney E. Smith

Google
Nice experience with good food. The brisket is so tender and moist.... flavorful. The brisket poutine was really good. Could have used just a tad bit more gravy but it was delicious. My son's had brisket tacos and avocado bacon burger. They both mopped up their plates and said it was 😋 tasty.

Google
Great customer service, we had been at the children's hospital for days and were looking for something different for lunch. Walked in needing a to go order, and they got right on it. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Thank you

This place has a great atmosphere. There is plenty of covered outdoor seating. The food was good and prepared quickly. Our waiter was the best, so friendly and attentive!

Google
Porkbelly Eggwich is so yummy. Generous portion of scrambled eggs, queso, smoked pork belly, crispy onions on a brioche style bun. Comes with a side of some of the best French Fries in Dallas. Added a side of cream gravy to dip the fries,OMG! I am ready to come back for dinner. Mimosa brunch and drink specials abound. Cold, cold draft beer if that's more your jam. I love to sit at the bar and the servers are attentive. They have a big nice patio too. Plenty of free parking just follow the signs. I'll be back soon. Maybe tonight.

Google
Maple Landing has some great food. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. My burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The Mac And Cheese was probably the best I've ever had and the elote was nice and spicy. However, my main critique is with the Brisket Melt. The meat was very fatty. I told the wait staff and they said that's how the owner likes it. You can buy fatty brisket and keep fat for flavor while cooking, but kitchen staff should trim it a little before serving or at least have the waitstaff ask if you want the fat trimmed. The bun ended up being soggy it soaked up so much fat.

Google
The impact of inflation was quite visible through brisket portion. Mediocre food quality. The service was not good. You will have to remind to get jalapeno and bbq sauce still may not get it. Overall below average food and service.

Google
Needed a quick late lunch, this place did not disappoint. Food was amazing, our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very efficient. Bar didn’t skimp on any of the alcohol. The cherry limeade from the bar was tasty, loaded baked potato was sooo good!

Google
We stumbled upon this place from Google, and it was such a gem! I have no idea why there wasn't a wait, but it worked out for us. The food was sooo good, the service was good and the waiters were kind, and the price was extremely reasonable! Only con: I ordered two drinks, and both were subpar. Strong but not alot of flavor. Mimosa came as a half glass which was disappointing.

Yelp
Food here was absolutely AMAZING. Service was wondering (shoutout to Rick he was the best). The Kansas City/Denver game was playing and over the environment was just wonderful. Absolutely would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
***** Read This Review ****** GO! GO! GO!!!! Crazy fun staff, fabulous food & a bourbon lovers PARADISE!!! I can't take credit for finding this place - LOL, my sister did!!! I'm amazed - it was a first time for both of us. Staff: Perfect - I walk in and am immediately greated very nice. Told him it's my 1st time and he told me everything - including all the allocated bourbons! Oh, Yea!!! I started reviewing the list and my mouth dropped open!!! This is beyond awesome!! I went to the bar and Frank was stupendous. I picked 2 allocated bourbons I've never heard of - and he let me smell them to pick. The William Larue Weller won - and it was bind blowing!! Point being - crazy good staff!! Score: 10 of 10 Food: I got the chicken tenders (asked for crispy) and all sauces are made in-house. Ranch was fabulous, honey mustard was delicious and very unique. 10 of 10 (I'll be back!) Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding Crazy delicious!!! Your eyes will roll back into your brain!! Candied pecans, caramel sauce, perfect balance of spices and bread. Best I've had since the 1990's. Score: 12 of 10 Atmosphere: Perfect. They have low-top, high-top, booths and bar seats. Nicely arranged. Look at their 4 clocks - and ask what the times mean! (Hilarious!) Patio seating is good - and they have a back game room which doubles as a private party room. Anything you need they can do. Score: 10 of 10 Overall Score: 12 of 10. I'll be back and regularly!! GO! GO! GO!

Yelp
Hello Yelpers. 2025 is upon us, new year, new experiences. My niece was flying out to Vegas, so fav uncle and cousin had the privilege of seeing her off. She flew out Southwest @Love field. We had time for brunch. Open up Yelp to see if anyone has found a spot. Of course you have. Maple Landing. I love plane spotting. The patio at Maple Landing perfectly faces the take off path of Southwest Airlines. The service is incredible. No sooner than seated, our beverage orders were taken. Some great suggestions were offered. They had brisket sausage. Yes, for brunch. I had the fluffiest french toast, with a ginormous pile of the plumpest, juiciest fresh blueberries ever. My eggs were a perfect over medium. My son ordered pancakes. To be honest, as big as they were, one would have been plenty. Super light, rose high enough to block a planes take off. Topped with caramalized bananas, nothing needed syrup. Best of all was the service. Every aspect of this experience was 6 star. Yelp has kind of spoiled me. I know know what to expect, and where to find it. The food and service was 5 star. The patio view of others flying off to great adventures earned a 6th star. Hope you each make it out here to experience this for yourselves.

Yelp
Had brunch here with a few friends on the weekend. There is outdoor seating, but it was very cold so we sat inside near the bar at a high table. They also take reservations, which is very convenient. I ordered the chicken and waffles which also came with eggs your style. It was very filling. The chicken was crispy and juicy on the inside. The waffle was cooked well, and the syrup was a nice touch. At the end, we ordered the lemon crème brûlée, which had blueberries on top. I am usually a fan of crème brûlée, but this one was a little off to me for some reason. I think it was too lemony for my taste. The service was OK. It was hard to get water refills throughout the meal.

Yelp
On my way to Love Field and had an extra hour. Used my Yelp friends do find a good burger place that was close and good. Well....you surely didn't let me down this time There's two restaurants next to each other so pretty convenient. Walked right in and loved the interior. It's very comfortable and even though it's a BBQ place mostly it seems like a down home bar that's upscale. I was able to order pretty quickly and chose the Patty melt and substituted a side salad for anything fried. Then added a side of their brussel sprouts. Very impressed with the side salad. The lettuce was fresh and great ingredients. OMG the Brussels were soooooo good. Just a bit of a bite but sweet too. Just the right touch. Then comes the patty melt. That burger was huge and very obviously handmade and fresh. Oozing with juices and in between two wonderful pieces of looked like rye bread. That burger was out of this world good. Really!!!! The flavors just popped everytime I took a bite. Of course the carmelized onions and Swiss cheese just made it that much better. I live in Fort Worth but will definitely come back here with my wife!

Claudia S.

Yelp
I got my Texas BBQ fix thanks to Maple Landing in Dallas!!! I got the half sausage half brisket plate. The portions weren't excessive which I enjoyed. I do wish the brisket was more fatty but it was still good quality and tender meat. The sausage was good too. I also appreciated that they give you cornbread and a biscuit with the dish instead of just one. The pickle bonus stole my heart though lolllll.... Anyways my favorite side dish was the mac and cheese. I could taste the variety of cheeses; both dry and fresh cheeses. I was not a fan of the brussel sprouts because they were drenched in the sauce, which was too sweet for my liking. Definitely recommend this BBQ restaurant when in Dallas!!!

Randy C.

Yelp
Fast service and friendly staff. The food came out really quick, there is plenty of parking and a lot of space for a large group. The food was alright, not the best Bbq but also not the worst just in the middle.

Jason Y.

Yelp
Great food. Had to try a combo bbq plate. Never knew this place existed. Bar tops were open. Full bar lots of great local beers and very attentive service. A very lively place. Didn't go back to the bigger dining though. Happen to get some free flavor crown royal tasting for a promo.

Yelp
We had an appointment at UT Southwestern and decided to see what kind of restaurants were close by when this one popped up. It had a patio ... so EVEN BETTER! We waited a little bit for our waiter to come over, but that gave us some time to look at the menu and not feel rushed. We aren't really into craft beer and lucky for us they had Michelob Ultra. We got the sliced brisket sandwich and the brisket melt with house made fries. We both asked for our brisket to be chopped, but I guess they forgot. They were both amazing sandwiches. The fries were really good, but after seeing the sweet potato fries come out we had wished we had ordered them instead. Oh well... next time! Definitely give them a try if you are in the area.

Chalin S.

Yelp
Great food! Outdoor patio seating is pretty large, service is fast and kind. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles, upgrade on that syrup! The spiced potatoes side was really good too. My husband got the pork belly egg breakfast sandwich, it came with a side of fries and the bun was super soft. This place has great food and worth a try!

Stacie W.

Yelp
Service is a bit slow but friendly. It's a laid back atmosphere, with a fun airplane and bourbon theme, and there's a heated patio if you don't want the music or the crowd. We ordered the brisket and sausage plate (me) and an avocado burger (the husband). We also appreciated the chance to try a bourbon we hadn't purchased yet (Weller 12 year is lovely, by the way). The food was just greasy and filling and just what my marathon runner needed after a race. Now for the negatives. We were overcharged for the bourbon by almost $10, and the manager resisted when we pointed out the menu price. The BBQ sauce is rather forgettable, and the brisket and sausage plate comes with a small serving of brisket, but the flavor is very good. The bacon +avocado burger needed a dash of salt. In all, this wouldn't be our first choice, but we wouldn't necessarily be opposed to another visit. Just be sure you check the prices.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Only came here for a happy hour, but it was awesome! We were greeted instantly and sat immediately! The drinks were great and my company was good! We sat in the patio which was covered and spacious! That was the best part of the location! Despite it being 92 degrees we didn't feel it! The location is so great, i will be coming back again!

Leah W.

Yelp
Staff was pretty attentive and kind. Husband enjoyed his beer. The bbq was just okay to us. It's a chill spot.

Julisa P.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday and the service was amazing. The waiter and the staff were great. Waiter was very attentive and quick to take our order and help us. The staff (Juanito) was friendly and turned on the heater when he noticed the patio was chilly. Felt very welcomed. Very home like! The food was great as well! I had the chilli and a cheese sandwich which was great. My husband loved his kimchi burger. In all we had a great experience!

Fula O.

Yelp
I was here on a recent trip to Dallas for a conference. I've been to Dallas many times over the years and until my colleagues said they wanted Brisket I realized I've never gone to a restaurant in Dallas for Brisket. I've always had it at a friend's. So the pressure is on to find a decent BBQ place. We ate outside since the weather had finally cooled that evening. Attentive service We all ordered the brisket and sausage platter. Loved the sausage and the brisket was fine. For me the selling point for me was their whiskey and scotch selection. They had an extensive selection with some of my favorites eg WhistlePig, Angels Envy, Basil Hayden, and Balvenie to name a few. Even their $6 selection was solid and varied

Yelp
**Maple's Landing BBQ - 4 Stars** I had a great experience at Maple's Landing. The hand-battered chicken tenders were crispy and juicy, and the chili cheese fries were excellent, with a nice smoky kick to the chili. The only downsides were the patio doors being open, which made it a bit chilly inside, and the fact that the only warm seat at the bar was taken by an unattended laptop--likely from management. Service was attentive, with management checking in frequently to make sure everyone was happy. The can beer was nice and cold, and overall, it was a great meal. Definitely recommend it for anyone craving quality BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere.

Ben B.

Yelp
Great food combinations for BBQ. Good ambiance and service. Bbq and sausage and pork tacos were excellent. Great selection of sides.

Nadine W.

Yelp
The food was very good here. If smoky flavor is your thing you will love this - Maple Landing is very cute loved the outdoor seating and Nenita was great! As was the gentleman who brought me the secret stash of diet Dr. Pepper! we had the brisket in our ML silver salad bowl, I love all the fixings in the salad .. blue cheese, radish, tomato, arugula... and there mile high dressing - The burger was perfectly cooked - the patty melt has mustard and mayonnaise- the fries were good- I needed a little more seasoning on them - The elote is made with grilled corn which was sooo good.their bread pudding was excellent!

Lindsay S.

Yelp
This place is fantastic!!! I had the most life changing, mouth watering, delicious turkey burger at this place! The brioche bun itself needs an award. They make burgers and flavors that absolutely sing. Dog friendly patio, Toast Malone also enjoyed his burger. Can't wait to return! Service was kind and attentive! Go visit Dog N Kitty City around the corner (where I adopted my Angel dog Toast Malone) if you're in need of an amazing fur baby and looking to adopt from a no kill shelter!

Matt R.

Yelp
I came in a bit early and sat at the bar. Plenty of seating and some music playing. Got the bartender's attention right away and he helped me pick a great beer (a Manhattan Project's Red Gate Amber). I went with his recommendation for dinner - the brisket and sausage plate with a vinegar based coleslaw and a slightly spicy potato salad. Everything was good, and the potato salad stood out. For dessert I had the bourbon pecan bread pudding which was outstanding! Dinner, dessert, and 2 beers plus tip was under $50

M. Spencer H.

Yelp
Service was fantastic. We sat at the bar and had some sides and brisket tacos with drinks. Highly recommend their Bloody Mary it was fantastic and I definitely could've gotten myself in some trouble sucking those bad boys down. Order the brisket tacos (3 per order) and upgraded my side to have the elotes. Delicious! So glad I know this place is here now. The vibe was relaxed but funky and the food was fantastic.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Great location off of Inwood in Dallas. They offer Inside and outside seating. The food was fresh and hot and the service was amazing. I had chips and queso and a potato. I forgot to take a pick of the potato though, it was very big and tasty. I would recommend this location

Kim J.

Yelp
Oh my Lawd!! This place was to die for, from the service to the food which was soooo amazingly fresh, and flavorful and spicy in all the best ways!!! A definite must stop next time we're in Dallas!

Cori W.

Yelp
Went here with colleagues while we were in town for the eclipse. I actually saw this place when we were next door at Social Pie for lunch. The sign that caught my eye was "beer, burgers, bourbon, brisket." Looked it up on Yelp afterwards and decided to come try it. There is a lovely outdoor feel to it as the whole front of the place is open. I had hoped our group of 8 could sit there, but we ended up in the back with the pool table. Service was decent. The server was nice enough, just made several mistakes and getting the food took quite a bit of time. Half of our table got food while the other half didn't. Several of us got brisket on salad, one person got the brisket chili, one got brisket and sausage and one got the salmon. Food was decent. The brisket itself was very good. The salad part was ok. Beers were exceptional and bourbon list was nice. I had a whistle pig maple cocktail which was lovely. I would return to just eat brisket and drink bourbon.

Lorrie D.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Yelp after flying, while Starving, into Lovefield. The delightful and sumptuous word "Brisket" caught my eye and it DID NOT disappoint! I asked waitstaff Drew for suggestions as he graciously greeted me and asked if I was dining inside or out. He told me what was . I tried the Brisket Melt, sweet potato fries and the Bourbon Banana Bread Pudding for dessert. He also suggested and snagged me some extra Carmel Sauce as he said that sealed the deal. I ordered at the bar so I cannot speak on the ambiance inside. Bar was okay, but they did not greet me or clean up after their customers quick enough as the area I sat next to had not been wiped clean.

Andrea D.

Yelp
Excellent service, great food, fun ambiance! Came in with the family and all had a good time.

Melyna S.

Yelp
Still not able to give 5 stars, but the food was enjoyable; which is consistent from my previous experience. Our waiter was a bit all over the place, he was nice but he allowed himself to get distracted. Kept apologizing for the slow pace of things. The tables were all cleaned and ready to go on a Wednesday afternoon. Lots of small groups and prep for an event in the back area. I'll always keep Maple Landing in mind when looking. for good food and drinks.

Billie Y.

Yelp
Do not and I say do not sleep on this gem. It's literally right down the street from my house and I love so many things in the menu I love sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. He is awesome. They have such a great vibe. Food and drinks are awesome. The wings and loaded backed potato is a hit for me. .

Carlo E.

Yelp
Looked on YouTube for BBQ places near the airport and found this place. I had a 4 hour layover so I decided to walk . It was worth the walk . Lots of parking and plenty of places to sit inside . Price was good too. They didn't tell me about the unlimited sweet potato fries! The bartender was very nice and couldn't be more professional with her service . I had the brisket sausage plate. Mac and cheese were flat out unreal, delicious . The sausage was just right. The brisket unfortunately fell flat and tasteless. I heard this place was known for their brisket . Oh and those fries, fantastic! I recommend this place coming from a California noobie like myself .

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I am so glad I found this spot! Their beer selection is amazing, and they also have a great cocktail menu and full bar. I've been here for brunch, happy hour and dinner, and all experiences have been great. The service is consistent and prompt. The vibe is very chill but clean. I've tried multiple dishes and love them all! I've even seen people with their laptops closing out the workday at the bar, which I'll definitely be doing soon. Maple Landing is a new Dallas go-to for me!

louann c.

Yelp
Open late night after landing in Dallas Love. Service was great. Shared the tater with brisket, and slaw. Perfect amount. No room for dessert but ordered the lemon brûlée to go. Wow! Taste like a spoon full of lemon sugar! Too sweet.

Mary M.

Yelp
Prepare for landing. Maple Landing, that is! It's Monday, and Daddy is about to catch a flight. Let's grab a bite for lunch. Thus Maple Landing. The atmosphere is super cool, and the vibe is on point! Great music, everyone was crazy friendly, and the decor made the place engaging. I had the Smoked Wings with Texican Dust. These wings were great! Light smokey flavor, fried for a nice, crisp, texture with the Texican Dust adding a slightly sweet/chili seasoning that made the wings unique! El Hefe had the brisket and sausage plate with Baked Beans, Mac N Cheese, Roll, and Corn muffin. The brisket had a hypnotic smoke ring, nice char, and tender. Although slightly overcooked and underseaoned. Same for the sausage and sides. I ended my meal with a Lemon Creme Brulee to go. I love Creme Brulee, and this delicate lemon zest, tangy gem, did not disappoint! Why the 5 star rating, for what I would call 1/2 and 1/2 food?( My half was great, his half, not so much) JOHN!!!! That man's service was On Point! He knew the menu, was attentive and engaging. Everything thing you desire in the service industry. Honestly, the Manager checking in at the tables and making suggestions to the other employees, being just as friendly and helpful. It made us both want to come back and try out something else! If you're in the area, Check It Out!!!

Brad A.

Yelp
Great local Texas bbq spot. Stopped by for a long layover at dallas love field airport. Took less than 10 min to get there via Uber. Starters are large portions and big enough to share with 2-4 people. Brisket was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Mac and cheese were fantastic with a nice kick. House made chips were amazing.

Lara B.

Yelp
We really love this place The bbq is delish I love the brisket poutine And the pastrami brisket sandwich is super tasty Brunch here has something for everyone They have the amazing silver bowl salad that I used to love from state/allen lounge back in the day for days when I'm feeling healthy-ish. Great cocktails Lots of TVs for sports Friendly staff albeit a little slow casual ambiance Nice size patio and plenty of parking. This place gets PACKED on weekends and happy hour so get here early.

Mark C.

Yelp
Good service and great seating outside. Ordered a brisket loaded and the brisket poutine. Both very favorable and plenty of toppings. The brisket in the poutine was extremely fatty and just probably my bad luck to get those slices. Big cubes of pure fat somehow made it TOO unhealthy even for me. I know other people rave about this place and maybe this was an exception but this should not have left the kitchen.

Dustin H.

Yelp
Nice place and seems like a rehabbed location from maybe a once tough area. I was surprised to find it was not so busy tonight for dinner, only a few in the building. Service was pretty fast and nice, helpful. Food was good for the most part, I got the Elote and it was a little spicy (needed more lime juice and cream). Portion size was where I think it could be better, my brisket was basically one piece cut into two pieces...this is Texas! Bring the beef! Don't go cheap on the amount of meat.

Ethan L.

Yelp
Amazing food! Nice atmosphere! Stopped in on a short few hours to spare in Dallas, not too far of a drive from Love field. Will be going back.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Food was very good - service was friendly and helpful - nice place and would certainly recommend it

Mike W.

Yelp
These wings are amazing. The food here is top notch. Great beer selection too. Brunch brunch baby.

Erin O.

Yelp
My husband and I first tried this place a few weeks ago. Rick was our waiter. He recommended a few things on the menu and OMG it was amazing. Since then we have been back quite a few times to try different items on the menu. Literally everything is beyond amazing! I would definitely recommend anytime!

Larry B.

Yelp
We had the brisket and sausage plate and it was great. The sides elote and homemade fries and beans. Great food and even better service.

Marcus R.

Yelp
$6 whiskies and bbq, what else could you want? Love that they have a patio as well so furry friends can come along for the fun. All around great ambiance with plenty of tvs to watch your favorite game, as well a friendly/attentive service. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Melody T.

Yelp
We had an awesome time here out on the patio! Saturday brunch with cool vibes and the game playing! The pork belly I ordered to go with bacon and tomatoes and jalapeños''. We the chicken and waffles, no eggs and added bacon! Lots of beer and they have a double mimosas if that's your thang! You can also order a bottle too! Great vibes and waitstaff is more so chill here ...! Thank you to the manager who came over and checked on us! Also if you have a sweet tooth, try the banana pudding!

Priscilla A.

Yelp
To be honest my experience is more of a 3.5 out of 5, but I decided to round up. I visited on Sunday during brunch, im we were a group if 5 in total with a small toddler. This place does seem popular during brunch, there were several tables occupied when we got there. The service was not great, although our waiter was nice. We waited quite a while to receive our order & when we did it didn't come out exactly right. One of the orders did not arrive at all, my fries were cold (it was exchanged without hesitation once I brought it to the waiter's attention) and my friend ordered a coleslaw slide but received fries instead. My mocktail (not pictured) was also pretty good, it was a a twist on a strawberry mojito. The brisket melt ( they're known for their brisket so it only made sense to try it) was good but it didn't blow me away. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

J H.

Yelp
Craving a meaty burger and a beer with a friend, was not disappointed! The Brisket burger was perfect...save for one thing asked for Medium to Medium rare but burger was very well done. However the side of Brisket Poutine proved to save the day and along with the great selection of a Full Pour beer and Frank the bartender provided GI g great service...I shall return!

Michael E.

Yelp
My second time here but this time I brought three others with me. For me it was even better than the first time. My Brisket and Sausage plate had a bit more brisket and that brisket was all meat no fat. On the downside the sweet potato fries this time were overly salted by a huge amount. Nonetheless the service was stellar and we all enjoyed our meals.

Lea M.

Yelp
Good food, nice Service, and location, very cute. Yummy bbq in the Dallas market area.

Dwaneika C.

Yelp
Food was delicious!!! It was not over crowded and I loved how hot and fresh my food was. The price point was also really good; this is a feel good family restaurant and I will definitely be back! The servers were polite and it wasn't too loud so easy place to have a conversation and enjoy your time.

Sarah L.

Yelp
These pictures are horrible! Sat outside at night and tried to brighten the photos. I'm no photographer, but I am a foodie! THIS IS THE BEST BBQ EVER!! We even ordered a second helping of brussel sprouts. I can't wait to go back! Def worth the drive. Husband said it's one of the best old fashion he's had too. The waitress was so nice and checked on us often. 10/10!
