Mar & Tierra Mexican Grill and Mariscos

My family and I love coming here this is definitely out spot for Mexican food. The entrees we order never miss!!! The owner is always sweet to my little boy and surprises him with something when we come. We’ve celebrated many birthdays here and will continue to do so.

The food was good, and the service was even better. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place had a great vibe. Overall, a nice spot to enjoy a relaxed meal.

I definitely put this one on the favorites list. My husband and I parked at the Loves down the street while waiting on a load and decided to walk to this hidden gem. The pictures in the reviews is what sold me. Everything looked so good. I just showed the pics to the waitress and said this is what I want. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and it was delicious just like it looked. The service was on point and the atmosphere was cozy. We enjoyed our food while watching the Olympics on multiple screens. We will definitely be back.

Went here for late night Mexican and boy was it tasty! Fresh ingredients, served hot from the kitchen super fast service. Chicken fajitas were the bomb. Salsa with chips so perfect. Large menu. Festive outdoor area, playing Mexican music at a moderate level but still had great convo. If you're looking for a quiet fancy place this isnt it, more dive hole in the wall. Yummy, authentic, highly recommend!

The food is amazing. If they ask if you want it spicy, they are not kidding. It comes with heat. The service is good and quick. The molcajete is large and should probably be ordered for 2 people to share. It is very good though!

Tried this spot with my wife tonight. I had the Chile Verde and she had the Supreme Burrito. Chile Verde was 3/5 because it was warm when it got to the table. The burrito was a solid 0/5. The plate was hot but burrito and its contents were cold. My wife gave me a bite of it and I NEVER spit out my food but just had to into my napkin. Cold shredded chicken that to me, tasted spoiled. I returned it for here and got 3 street tacos. Those were great! Service and atmosphere were good and our server made it right and we appreciated that. However, we won’t be dining here again. If a bite of something makes me gag I won’t patron the establishment again.

This place is very nice and the food was great. Didn't have a drink but next time I will.

Outstanding presentation and flavor. Service met me at the door and brought chips n salsa right away. Mexican vibe all around. Can't wait to go back!

This is one of my family's favorite locally owned Mexican spots! We're there a few times a month and the main event for me are the tacos and margs! Try the carne asada and al pastor street tacos with their homemade green hot sauce! *chef's kiss*

Stopped in for lunch while in town, was greeted walking in both the ladies working were friendly and kind. A small place with a few booths and tables. A short bar with a few stools at the back. Chips and salsa arrived with an ice water, good chips and a flavorful red salsa. Ordered a small guacamole, it was made fresh and very good. After checking the menu ordered tres tacos, one Al Pastor and two Carnitas, street style, both were flavorful and distinct to style. Ordered a Lemonade to go with my lunch and it was good for a fountain drink. They also had a good Flan on the menu, so had to have one of those too. It was about as good as it gets, true old school traditional texture, flavor and presentation. 4 Stars - a good choice for a meal, recommended 01003

Overall our experience in the restaurant was pleasant. Our server was very attentive and kind, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. The margaritas were delightful, and we will come back again. Unfortunately, for this meal, my chicken (grilled chicken with peppers, onions, and rice served with tortillas) had a very strange and rubbery taste. My partner ordered a burrito, and we both confirmed that his chicken tasted different than mine. I may have got the bottom of a pre-prepared stock. Next time, I will probably go with the steak.

Great food portions, big flavors, and fast service. The place is cozy and small but very intimate. They have great selection of seafood plates.

The staff is extremely racist. I went in to retrieve a pickup order for someone and was very kind to these people for them the rudely try to dismiss me, treat me like I was going to steal my patron's food and refused to supply me the customer's receipt so that they can ensure their order was completed accurately and then ignored me out right. If you are black I would absolutely avoid this place, and it's horrible when not black people open businesses in historically black neighborhoods or patron our neighborhood and treat us like we are scum and thrives when we treat you all with kindness. Disgraceful!!!!

Well the place is a nice oyster we're not cold we're warm it will be nice if they have drinks in the menu like coffe was not and horchata this place can be the best but the lil details matter for the owner u need new staff because they are killing your place

Great food. My only complaint is that they didn't seem to know how to fully melt the cheese in a cheese enchilada. But the fajitas are the bomb, and the server lady who is ALWAYS there is so friendly. She might be the owner... not really sure.

The chicken fajitas were really good. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. We also tried the sampler with guacamole. The guacamole was creamy and delicious. The cheese dip was good and they kept the chips coming! We will definitely be back!

Unbelievable food! I stopped in for take out and ended up dining in after I was told it would be 5 minutes. Food came out quick and it was all super delicious!

Great food and service! Still pretty new so there's always a table! Food is cheap!! Also love the margaritas!

Best spot around, never busy, staff is great. Overall hidden gem off of Trinity. Street tacos are a jammer and relatively cheap.
