"Mar Vista Farmer’s Market, Mar Vista. The first Mar Vista Market took place August 6, 2006 and has taken place every Sunday since from 9am to 2pm on Grand View. In just a short time it has more than met its goal of bringing fresh, direct-marketed produce from California farmers to the community. Sundays are a bustling example of Mar Vistans coming out to shop, eat, and visit with their neighbors while also achieving broader social impacts from community development, to health and nutrition, to preserving family farms."

Best farmers market on Sunday. They have all the fruit and veggies needed. They have so many vegan options such as vegan cheese stand, dumpling and coffee. They have gluten free bread, pupusas and arepas vegan and gluten free and even vegan and gluten free veggie empanadas. So many options. Great salsa, coconut milk and Korean stand

Such a lovely farmers market! I came for my favorite New Zealand ice cream (I’m looking at you, Creamy Boys!) and discovered a gem. It was so nice to walk around and explore a bit—there was a nice mix of fresh produce vendors, flowers, mushrooms, food vendors, merchandise, and some local resource booths (I saw LA County Department of Mental Health handing out info and providing resources). Friendly crowd and a set in a nice location. I’ll definitely be returning!

Wow, what a farmers mkt should be. Real curators in each stall and unique takes on original provisions that creates inspiration for easy meal planning. Coffee was necessary and it was great with a small scone to keep pushing through. It’s very tight quarters in these several blocks and I overheard venders talking about loosing square footage to accommodate new vendors. This won’t put me off, I’ll simply make sure to start early. Lol Feels like a real farmers market. Enjoy

Mar vista farmers market, a staple for the Mar vista/ Venice community. The farmers market is open every Sunday (unless posted on their Instagram). Expect it to be packed after 10:30am. The market offers fresh produce, eggs, meats, baked goods, cheeses, condiments, oils, flowers, and a variety of food & beverages. Local farmers surrounding or within Los Angeles county participate as vendors and will happily greet you, furthermore will answer any questions at hand. Produce is always fresh and fragrant. There’s a reason why mar vista farmers market gets packed and has been expanding for several a years. You’ll be able to buy most if not all your grocery needs here. If you’re hesitant to visit or make the trip, I’m here to say visit Mar vista farmers market. It’s a great place to spend your Sunday, whether to relax, eat, grocery shopping, or all of the above. If you’re reading up to this point, Arnett farms and valley center growers are my go to for oranges and fruits. Arnett farms offers free samples of their fruit, which is great and gives the customers insight to what they are buying (quality wise). For veggies I head down to Tamai family farms located at the center of the farmers market. One thing to note is that their mint and herbs are always so fragrant, delicious too. Last thing will be, try out the Quiche spot, which usually gets packed around 11am, haven’t tried it but will do in the next couple of visits. Enjoy.

Fabulous market with tons of produce, prepared food, seafood, beef and more. Be prepared to spend money - I got Dave’s tempha (amazing vegetarian Korean food), two bags of Chantelle’s Granola and a few pears and apples for about $30. If you an afford it, it’s worth it to support local vendors. Check out the “Green Tent” for tips on composting, zero waste and other sustainability topics!

I had such a great time with friends at the Mar Vista Farmer Market over the weekend. The weather was awesome and just made for a great day walking around, talking and buying lots of goodies. It was my first time there and I will be back!

This is a great little farmer’s market. They have vegetables, fruits, nuts, plants, cut flowers, cheeses, locally-caught fish, boba, coffee, many different food vendors, ice cream, and more. There is usually some sort of either live or recorded music and there are a couple fun booths for children.
