"Cleveland isn’t home to many high-roller restaurants, but Marble Room is an old-school legend—the kind of place your boss would go to land that Chicago client during a business dinner. It’s inside a 19th-century bank building with gorgeous marble columns and crystal chandeliers, and the menu matches that energy—there are 10 different cuts of prime beef (try the juicy 16-ounce delmonico with some garlic and chive butter), plus a raw bar and caviar service. You can also sit in one of the banquettes in the front lounge and nurse a martini while watching Gates Mills mansion owners check in for their reservations. " - kate bigam kaput

"The grandest dining room in Cleveland belongs to Marble Room, an opulent prime steak and seafood restaurant tucked into a turn-of-the-century bank lobby. Designed by the architecture firm behind Severance Hall, the stunning beaux arts-style interior boasts soaring ceilings, massive pillars, grand staircases, and ornate ironwork. To go with all that eye candy is a menu flush with caviar, seafood towers, sushi and sashimi, and a butcher shop’s worth of steaks and chops. The toughest tables in town come with fine cocktails, professional service, and frequent live music." - Douglas Trattner

Be prepared to be blown away by this place! Officially the best restaurant I have ever been too! It's absolutely beautiful, you are treated like royalty and the food is amazing! They have live music we heard a saxophone and flute player and they were playing classics and up to date music as well! I'm so impressed I don't think I can find a place to top this! Lol We celebrated our anniversary and it really made our anniversary special when they brought out a special dessert for us 🥰 I will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful experience! Tiffany provided exceptional and eloquent service that truly enhanced our celebration. The historic bank setting is absolutely stunning and perfect for special events. There is also a unique vault room in the basement. I recommend making reservations well in advance to secure your spot. The food was outstanding overall, with just one minor exception of 1 of our group's steak being slightly overcooked. For convenience, there's an $18 valet service out front, and if there aren't other events happening in the city, PNC parking next door is a great alternative.

My wife and I had been trying to go here for a while because everyone speaks so highly of this establishment. I must say, the hype is real. We had birthday reservations and was greeted at the door by exuberant greeters, and ushered past velvet ropes. The restaurant is very lavishly adorned, and I could be wrong but I think it’s the old National Bank building but I digress. It’s a little on the dark side with new age jazz playing to set the mood, and the wait staff was very prompt and personable. The food was delicious as well. The crowd was very high class and I personally recognized various public officials and a few athletes dining. I can’t recommend this dining experience enough. It certainly isn’t inexpensive, but it’s well worth it!!

Went to The Marble Room for the first time. Was not sure where to park unless you valet, which we did not & found a spot on the street. The building has great architecture & the atmosphere is very positive. Everyone was very polite & elegant. I had the filet and it was cooked right & no sauce needed, great flavor & not dry. The asparagus was lightly flavored with lemon. The whipped potatoes were good, but a little too buttery for my liking. I like whipped potatoes a little thicker. The Cobb salad was great and the salad dressing had a great taste. Only suggestion is no iceberg lettuce, for the price I would think better lettuce quality. We had ice cream for dessert, which tasted great. Basically 2 scoops. Then they brought out cotton candy, which is great if you like cotton candy, very sweet. Great experience & ambiance. The sides are separate. If you get the filet it does not come with sides, only the steak. You need to purchase sides separately.

Food : amazing bread to start , seafood entree preparations were excellent. Service : we had “ Alexander the Great “ very knowledgeable with the perfect touch of engagement Atmosphere: dripping with history and elegance, overall the best ambience for dinner anywhere in the country When in Cleveland, this is a must stop, plan ahead on this one with a reservation to secure a perfect table for your group.

Google
This place is top notch. Most expensive by far of you compare to other places I have reviewed. But this atmosphere is exquisite every thing feels extremely fancy and casual at the same time. Everything was delicious and the steak although very high priced, was the best thickest cut of Ribeye I have ever had without going direct to the butcher and cooking it myself. This is not a place you will make a regular but it's perfect for that special or romantic vibe. Just be warned this sets the bar high so saves it for a really special night out.

Amazing atmosphere. Gorgeous space! Wow factor. I got the vegan dish, it was squash and spinach with a quinoa topping that was flavorful but overall dish was just meh, squash wasn’t seasoned at all, it should be mashed up either some seasoning before presenting it. The potato cake was delicious! My friend got salmon dish and said it was good but wasn’t amazing.

A Memorable Anniversary Dinner at Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar! From the moment we arrived, the experience at Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar was impeccable. The valet service, check-in, and attentive staff made every moment feel special and seamless. Upon entering, the breathtakingly stunning architecture of the main room immediately captured our attention, adding to the grandeur of the evening. Each individual provided exceptional service, accommodating our every need. Our server was outstanding, guiding us through the menu with expert recommendations. We started with the Crispy Rock Shrimp Roll and the complimentary Japanese milk bread. The bread was airy and paired perfectly with the house-made butter, creamy and smooth. The Lump Crab Cake was a standout with its crispy exterior and moist, flavorful interior, complemented by a tangy, rich sauce. The Crispy Shrimp Roll offered a delightful textural contrast, with perfectly fried shrimp adding crunch and crispiness to the umami to the delectable sushi. For our entrées, my girlfriend enjoyed a tender filet mignon, while I savored a flavorful Delmonico steak. We paired these with brussels sprouts and potatoes au gratin. Though we wished the brussels sprouts were crispier, the flavor was still enjoyable. The potatoes, layered with Gouda and aged cheddar, were creamy, rich, and topped with a satisfying, crispy cheese crust. Dessert was a highlight, featuring a maple apple caramel panna cotta that was the perfect blend of creamy, rich, and subtly savory caramel. It was, without a doubt, one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. To cap off the evening, our server surprised us with complimentary cotton candy and a heartfelt anniversary card, adding a personal touch that we truly appreciated. Overall, Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar delivered an extraordinary dining experience, making our anniversary dinner unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their exceptional hospitality!

Yelp
We hosted nine family members at Marble Room earlier this week and had a wonderful experience. The service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. The steaks were a hit with the men in our group, but I loved the Duck Confit spring rolls and the crunchy shrimp rolls! Thank you for a wonderful evening while visiting family in Cleveland!

Yelp
The setting of Marble Room is well worth the visit. Ideal place to celebrate life! The food was outstanding only to be surpassed by the staff. Daniel to such great care of us! A must visit when in Cleveland!

Yelp
Best restaurant in northeast Ohio!! Outstanding from start to finish. Service, food and ambience is 5 star.

Yelp
The interior is gorgeous! You definitely feel like you should be dressed up (but someone came in with shorts, a t-shirt, and backwards baseball hat). The marble room martini was great and served very cold so it was thicker (which I liked). The milk bread is soft and fluffy, but mildly dry. It definitely needs the butter! The peach and cherries dessert was great! I wasn't a fan of the peaches on top, but the cake with the cherries and creme anglaise was delicious. The espresso martini with tequila was also amazing. The server was nice! I was surprised that the steak came out before I was finished with the tartare.

Yelp
After a lot of thinking we decided to give the marble room a second try and went back to celebrate our anniversary. I am so happy that we did because what an amazing experience dining in there we had! From the beginning to the end the service was exquisite, extremely attentive, polite and always making sure we felt good and were well served. Our server, I believe his name was Enrique (I am terrible remembering names), was truly exceptional. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, had great recommendations, and made sure we were enjoying our meal through the night. We loved the bread with butter they bring as a starter. It is warm, spongy and simply delicious, we couldn't stop enjoying it. We ordered 2 appetizers to share, the market ceviche and the tuna tacos. They were simply delicious! You could taste the freshness of the fish and how they melted in your mouth was just amazing. Highly recommend them!! We then ordered their seasonal fettuccine, thanks god we shared that plate too because the portion was very generous. They were so creamy and delicious as well, loved the sauce and the cherry tomatoes in it! To end the meal, we decided to order their special dessert of the week. We were thinking we would get the chocolate cake or the cheese cake, but when Enrique mentioned their special, we were sold on it! It was a delicious cake with roasted peaches on it, vanilla ice cream, topped with cherries and cherry sauce as well as almonds. Simply delicious and out of this world! Loved that it wasn't extremely sweet, it was simple perfect. They were super sweet and also brought us a strawberry cotton candy since we were celebrating, which was a very sweet detail and we loved it so much! We will definitely be back, such an amazing experience and delicious food. Thanks marble room for making our special night, truly special!

Yelp
We came to marble room for our anniversary and had an amazing time. I had the rose and lychee cocktail which was delicious. We started off with their milk bread rolls which were definitely more of a brioche but still amazing none the less. We ordered the steak, truffle Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts, and everything was executed to perfection. There was also live music which was incredibly fun. Not to mention the inside of the restaurant with the high ceilings and columns was picturesque. Definitely a splurge dinner and reservations are hard to come by but worth coming to at least once if you're in Cleveland. Can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu and get more of that milk bread :) 4.75/5

Yelp
The Marble Room, located inside a historic building in Cleveland, offers an experience that lives up to its reputation. The exterior still bears the markings of its former life as a bank, but stepping inside feels like entering a European church, with its high ceilings and marble decor. The lighting adds a luxurious and welcoming ambiance, making it feel like a scene from a postcard. We ordered oysters and steak, paired with a delicious Cabernet. Alexander, our exceptionally talented server, made us feel welcome and was attentive to our time constraints. I believe this is a must-visit spot in Cleveland, whether for a special occasion or simply to enjoy the experience. For me, just being there was a special occasion in itself.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite places in Cleveland. Food is over the top, exceptional, the service is superior, and the ambience is beautifully historic, friendly, and even romantic. This is the place you wanna go to impress, but make sure you have a reservation. This place books up fast. Don't forget to ask for cotton candy.

Yelp
I'm from New Orleans where the food is out of this world, so coming in my hopes were not super high for Marble Room. Wow. Just wow. Every single dish ordered was absolutely impeccable. From the shishitos to the wagyu tartare my experience was fabulous, and those were JUST THE STARTERS. My husband and I split a special featured bone in rib eye with roasted marrow and it was cooked to perfection and seasoned so wonderfully. Service was prompt, attentive and spot on. Ambiance is luxe and all details were truly stunning. EDITED TO ADD- it's sinful of me to have even forgot to mention the tuna taco starters because I'm not a major fish lover, but these? MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELISH

Yelp
Have been wanting to try Marble Room for years now and finally convinced my husband to go as part of my 34th birthday present Love that for us Honestly heard mixed reviews prior to going that the food was decent, but people really go for the ambiance and to see the historic building. Well, it surpassed all expectations and we did our research on the recommended food before going. We ordered: 1. Crab Mac & Cheese 2. Filet (medium rare) 3. Rack of lamb (medium rare) 4. Potatoes au gratin 5. Truffle cocktail with Buffalo Trace Bourbon 6. Bordeaux When we go again we would probably order the same things except instead of the lamb, we would get two filets medium rare. If you order right here, it will be a dinner you think about for a long time. My husband and I are both in consulting and frequent nicer restaurants in other big / medium and small cities, and Marble Room is definitely a gem... we are lucky to have it in Cleveland for sure. The service was also top tier and our waitress even took us down to the vault since it was open. She also offered to take some pictures of us and it was so nice of her. The staff are all great as well. Awesome experience!

Yelp
Great restaurant to dine at if you are in downtown Cleveland. We made a reservation a few weeks ahead and the only time slot open was 4:30pm but by the time you get seated and look at the menu, it was perfect for us. The restaurant is so beautiful inside and you can dress up to go here without feeling overdressed. The food here was delicious! We ordered the hamachi crudo for appetizer, scallops and walleye fish for our entrees, sweet potato mash for side. The scallops were cooked perfect. The sweet potato mash was good and quite sweet but a great side dish to share! The wine selection here is great as well. We ordered an Oregon pinot noir and it was nice that they had it. Can't wait to come here again the next time we are in Cleveland!

Yelp
One of the best dining experience ls of my life. Went to Cleveland for the National Sports Card Convention and this was a celebration dinner destination! What a steak house. Loved the vibe. It's on an old bank and it really makes you feel like you are taking a Time Machine back to the early 1900s. The service was incredible, as well. From the greeters, to the waiters/waitresses, to the bell boys...10/10. When in Cleveland if you are celebrating anything or if you want an expensive date night...this is the spot!

Garietta F.

Yelp
I so wanted to love this place. The ambiance is amazing, the service was on point, with very friendly and attentive waitstaff, and the cocktails were fantastic. I had an old fashion that was one of the best I have ever had. But... the food...the food was just meh. I feel that in a steakhouse, the steak should be the star of the show with other foods as supporting characters. I enjoyed a 6 oz filet mignon, medium rare. It was ok. Very unimpressive gray blob coming out on the plate, a little under-seasoned and a little overcooked. It did the job, but definitely was not the star. Biggest disappointment of the night was an order of 3 oz of foie gras. It looked spectacular, easily the prettiest dish on the table. But the taste...under-seasoned with sharp metallic aftertaste. And for some reason, it was doused in oil. Basically not edible. I could only take in a few bites before I threw in the towel. The sides were...(adjective for great, fantastic, amazing here). Decadent scrumptious creamed corn with a cornbread topping...gooey, delicious mac and cheese...these two dishes stole my heart. Pomme frites were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and seasoned well. To be honest, I ignored the spinach....lol! But the star of the night was the ultra uber extra surf and turf sushi roll. OMG! it was a california roll on steroids, topped with caviar and 24 K gold leaf. I could eat that over and over again and never get tired of it. Last treat of the night was a surprise dish serving of cotton candy served on a silver pedestal, just before we left. No room for dessert, but we left satisfied. SO overall, great place to hang out with friends. Waitstaff did a marvellous jobs, the environment was terrific. Food was hit or miss. Don't know if it is worth going back, just because the process of getting a reservation sucks balls and the food was not imho worth the cost. But i do think worth doing once just to say that you have been and snap the requisite photo. All photo credits go to my friend Van Rice!!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of ending up at Marble Room. And yes ended up there, a friend had reservations and their second party had to drop out and I was invited. Stunning, the building is clearly an old bank so the aesthetic of the place is stunning. The weight staff was super nice and knew the menu and while attentive they were not over bearing. We got drinks which were perfect. And the food was perfectly cooked. I wasn't feeling meat this evening so I tried their vegan option. The food was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We ended the evening with a heavenly slice of cheese cake! Easily one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. I really enjoyed my time here, and want to take my date here so he can experience it as well. Marble Room lives up to all of its hype, you won't be let down.

Scot F.

Yelp
Took my father here for his birthday and was very happy we did. The interior is a classical American bank from with a neo-classical look mixing the greco roman styles. The dinning areas feature extremely comfortable chairs and tables. Multi story dinning room. The staff is very professional and welcoming. If a lady has a purse a small table (box shape) is brought over so her purse doesn't sit on the floor. Every nice touch. Side dishes are prepared steak house style to be shared with the table. Steaks have an excellent char (I am guessing they use an infrared broiler) and are top quality. Worth a drive if you are in the area

Michael H.

Yelp
OMG - still thinking about this meal almost 2 weeks later. Having eaten at some pretty fabulous steakhouses in Chicago, NYC, and LA, I will admit to being skeptical when a couple Clevelanders told me this was one of the best steakhouses in the country. We managed to score a reservation (roughly 3 weeks in advance) on a Friday before heading over to Playhouse Square, a short 10 minute walk away. First impression upon entering is the place is massive and opulent. A 100 year old building that used to be a bank, with insane marble columns and architectural decor. Not sure I've ever eaten anywhere like it. Amazing ambiance. Server came right over and the culinary experience began. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the accompanying lobster tail was delicious. Do not miss the potatoes au gratin, which were maybe the best potato dish I've ever had. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought a glowing home made cotton candy, which was promptly devoured. If you're in Cleveland, don't miss an opportunity to eat here. Absolutely devine experience!

Greg M.

Yelp
The steak did not meet expectations. Ordered the dry aged Delmonico. Though it was cooked perfectly, there wasn't a lot of flavor, despite the black truffle butter. Furthermore, there was a line of grizzle running through it that was inedible. Lastly, service was a bit slow. Would have ordered another glass of wine, but wasn't given the chance. Server knew we were going to a show and had to be out by 7:00, but we didn't pay until 7:10. On a positive note, the French Onion soup was outstanding, as was the Gold Bar desert. The roasted potatoes and Brussel Sprouts were also very good. Also, the ambiance of this place is really, really cool. The opening drinks were also a bit disappointing. Ordered the Sous Vide Old Fashioned. Neat gambit, very smooth, but did not include the orange peel or cherry. Espresso Martini was also very good, but lacked garnishments.

Kelly C.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for an anniversary dinner. We were in Cleveland for the week randomly, and heard this was probably the best place to go for the occasion. We had a at 5:45pm reservation. We waited until about a month out to book and this was the only time available. So, if you want to come here, make a reservation well in advance. Although, it appeared that there was bar seating if you want a more casual experience. We used the valet to park. $18. Pay on your way out. I included a tip. There are parking garages nearby but I don't think they're any cheaper. The inside is very impressive. The ceiling is three or four stories high. The floors are marble and the sides of the room are lined with Corinthian columns and friezes that line the ceiling. The lighting is very soft and adds to the amazing ambiance. It's like a sepia filter has been added to the room. Attire was mixed. I wore a tan jacket with an open collar shirt. Many were dressed the same. There were also plenty of people in golf attire and streetwear. Wife wore a dress as did most of the other women. It doesn't seem like there's a firm dress code but I would have felt underdressed without a jacket. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The thing we liked the most is that we never felt rushed. We spent about three hours total enjoying our company, the food, and the wine. The server interjected at appropriate points. He intuitively knew when to check in and ask if we needed anything. He bussed the table between courses which is a point that I value a lot. On to the food. We did not get an appetizer. You get complimentary bread which was delicious. For entrees, I had the halibut and the wife had the filet. My fish was good but it was a bit dry to be honest. The chef left the skin on which is a major plus. It came on a bed of grains, spinach, and tomatoes which was excellent. The filet was cooked to perfection and the sauce (mustard and shallots) complimented it perfectly. It took approx 45 minutes for the entree to come out. I think this is a good thing. It allowed my wife and I to talk and enjoy our time together. However, I know there are some that want food asap. If speedy food is something you value, then maybe factor that into your decision to dine here. For desert, we had the crème brûlée. It is a standard version of the dish, which is what I prefer. Excellent all around. The prices were great. Way less expensive than I had ever expected. I highly recommend dining here. It also seems like a great place to stop by for a quick drink at the bar.

Kristina M.

Yelp
We had an amazing family dinner here last night. The room is as beautiful as ever, but the expanded sushi options relative to our last visit there was a great addition in our view. Beautiful sushi for appetizers followed by the best steaks in Cleveland? Perfect meal. The service was special as well. Tim, in particular, was a stand out. He made us feel welcome and also assured that everything made it to table on time and that our water glasses were never empty. We can't wait to return.

Cynthia K.

Yelp
We came back for our second visit to celebrate our three year anniversary! This restaurant is now our go-to celebration dinner place. We asked them for a table last minute and they were able to accommodate us, which was super nice. We were served by Jeffrey, who was super friendly, informative, and even gave us a tour of the upstairs space which was super fun. Hoping for a vault tour next time (it was booked tonight)!! For food, we ordered the 16 oz Delmonico steak, mac n cheese, oysters, caesar salad, surf and turf roll, and the chocolate cake. We of course got the Japanese milk buns and Jeffrey surprised us with the cotton candy for our anniversary! Everything was super delicious. I love how they pack up any leftovers for us to enjoy at home too, which we always finish! I love this place and am looking forward to September when I'm sure we'll be back to celebrate my partner's birthday or to host a grad dinner next spring!

Yelp
We had our second visit to the Marble Room this week to celebrate our anniversary. The room is elegant. It was a bank that was built in the 1890's and remodeled into a modern restaurant. The service and the servers were spot on with prompt service but not to the point of being intrusive. You might say " they know hospitality". The steak we ordered was a perfect medium and one salad was more than enough for two to share. The evening was perfect except for one small thing- the mashed potatoes. They were so whipped so as to be a little watery. They also had pools of melted butter in the service dish. Reminded me of instant potatoes drowned in butter. I voiced my opinion to our server and to his credit, he removed the charge from our bill and gave us an order of au gratin potatoes to take home with our uneaten steak.. All in all, expensive but elegant and I'd go back again for our next special occasion.

Sara G.

Yelp
I am an old bank building. I am stunning and over the top inside! I also serve fantastic fish and steak options! The architecture is impressive and dramatic with tall ceilings and massive marble pillars! It's almost overwhelming walking to your seat! I tend to turn every restaurant into a tapas style restaurant because I don't want just one thing. Every dish was coursed, cooked and seasoned perfectly! A perfect dinner! Not even a blemish!

Laura D.

Yelp
The most fabulous place in Cleveland for dinner. Everything is spot on, from the ambiance to the service to the food.

Gd I.

Yelp
I went to the marble room after hearing nothing but raving reviews. And I was throughly disappointed. The food didn't live up to the hype. Me and a friend waited almost an hour and thirty minutes for our food. The waitress kept saying it was because of the steaks that we ordered. I just wasn't impressed with the food at all. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside. I will have to say that the restaurant was probably one of the nicest restaurants I have ever dined at. The service was okay. I just thought with all the good things I heard about the restaurant, I wasn't going to be disappointed. The crab cake was really tasty. The steak was okay, the sides were okay, the best part about the dinner was the cheesecake. I will think really really hard before going back. There are other steakhouses around the area , that I would try before coming back to the marble room .

Yelp
We came to eat at Marble Room for our annual Niner roadie Saturday night steak dinner on the 14th of October. I made sure to call early, all the way back in August to reserve the group. One tip I've learned from these group steak dinners in the past is to inquire on what the corking fees are for bringing your own wine. You're ultimately going to save pretty much no matter what when you're ordering multiple bottles. Having said that, this place doesn't offer corking or outside wine, etc. We got sat right away, the inside of this place is insanely nice. They have high ceilings and really cool decor all around. When you first walk to your table they have this really cool lit sign on the ground of their restaurants name. We got our drinks and then ordered. I ended up getting the porterhouse on the waiters recommendation and it was a good choice, I almost ended up polishing off the whole thing on my own as nobody wanted to split it with me. It was a huge steak though, 40 ounces, for sure meant for 2. Lots of flavor on that bad boy. I have to say, the only negative was how long everything took. Dining at a nice place like this you don't mind as much, but we didn't get out of there until 3.5 hours after we got sat. Having said all of that, I'd 100% recommend this place, and would go back to eat there again in a heartbeat.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Words can't describe how beautiful this place is. Its grandeur and opulence shows in every detail from the moment you enter. Can't help but imagine what it was like back in its days of being a bank. Our server, Roman, was very knowledgable about the different steak offerings and provided spectacular service! Brought us the illuminated cotton candy for our birthday celebration! Valet parking was great since it's a busy area. Worth every penny for a special evening or when you want to splurge. Go ahead, you deserve it!

Brad Y.

Yelp
When you walk into the Marble Room and you realize that this is where people once did their banking, you understand Cleveland historically had some extremely Uber rich citizens. Ordered the dry aged Delmonico. It was PERFECTLY cooked medium rare. It had slightly more bite than I anticipated but, hey, it's aged! Service was perfect. Italian wine with the steak was the best. I honestly don't think I'll ever have another restaurant steak experience to top the Marble Room.

Yelp
Went for a solo birthday and had a nice time. Tasty food with just the right portions, best aviation (pricey) , beautiful ambiance. Rock oysters are customizable. Attentive service both times visited. Had dinner one night and dessert another. Staff seems very friendly and knowledgeable. The violinist is pretty dope as well. Valet parking available and I think you may save a few bucks paying cash.

Yelp
Late Birthday celebration for my daughter. The ambiance was stellar! Our server Roman was outstanding! We had the Crispy Rock Shrimp and Spicy Tuna Crispy for appetizers. Both were extremely fresh and tasted very good. My daughter had the Diver Sea Scallops and I the Limited feature A5 Japanese Wagyu Beef Tartare for entrees. The scallops melted in your mouth. The Japanese Wagyu tartare left a lot to be desired. I was so excited to have this (not my first) unfortunately was very disappointed. Roman ended the night serving my daughter a cotton candy on a light changing display. Best cotton candy she ever had. Other than being seated near crying, screaming, kids (seems to be a reoccurring theme in upscale restaurants for us) we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Yelp
I was visiting town. I stopped in for dinner . Very nice ambiance and ate at the bar. Excellent fillet, cream spinach side. I be asked for bread and provided outstanding hot rolls. Price was on line for a quality meal with today's inflation. I highly recommend and will be back next time in downtown Cleveland.

Yelp
We had a fabulous dinner at the Marble Room! The featured fish, scallops, prime rib, mashed potatoes and rose and lychee martini was incredible!!!

Yelp
The service was fantastic. I had the bone in rib eye and it was cooked perfectly. It was the best steak I ever had and my dad was a butcher! My husband said his oyster Rockefeller was the best he has had. My shrimp cocktail was great and the creole sauce is so tasty. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak and that was also cooked perfectly. We split a wedge salad and it was enough. The rolls were hot and tasty. We order a side of mashed potatoes which went well with our steaks. Great dining experience.

Yelp
We got late reservations for our Anniversary, we got there early and Isiah was so accommodating our wait time and showed us around the vault area and we were able to take some pictures before dinner. The food was delicious as always, the caviar and accoutrements are one of my favorites and is presented very well. The steak was tender and cooked to order rare and seasoned deliciously. We sat at the bar prior to our booth being prepared and ordered a bottle of champagne with Paul who is a very seasoned bartender and has the best personality and recommendations. Definitely still one of my favorite places to eat in Cleveland.

Yelp
I'm so happy I found this place and decided to go despite the website showing no resy available. They accept walk-ins, and the lounge area was perfect for dinner. I came to Cleveland for work (and for the very first time) with the intentions of having a great dinner after a long day, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! For starters, we ordered the chopped salad, which was AMAZINGG! Honestly, im still craving the salad. In addition, we ordered the crab cake. Every bite just melted in your both, and yes, the the majority of it was crab meat. For the entree round I ordered the 6oz fillet, which had a perfect medium cook. That thing was so damn good, along with the mac and cheese. Now let me tell you, this isn't your average steak house Mac-- this one is worth ordering for sure! For dessert we ordered the cream brûlée, which I was sooooo happy to see on the menu. It came with a freshly baked snickerdoodle cookie and homemade vanilla bean whip cream... I don't even like whipped cream but it was so good! The blood orange cocktail was A1; Service was A1 (Veronica was awesome!); and the ambiance... let's just say this place is sexy and aesthetically a 5/5.

Yelp
Who doesn't love the Marble Room and its exquisite interior? You won't find a better restaurant in Cleveland. The steaks and ambiance are the best in the city. We started off with a blue crab appetizer that was on special. I was skeptical of the high price, but it was well worth it. I've never eaten any seafood that was as delicious and tender as this crab was. We also ordered the surf and turf sushi roll that was fabulous as well. You can get great sushi in many other restaurants and this isn't the Marble Room's best appetizer, but it is certainly worth getting. The filet steaks were terrific, and properly cooked as expected. The many sides you have to choose from are all fantastic - the potatoes au gratin and brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared. The service was top-notch. The server stopped by the table many times to check on our food and asked if we needed anything. I did leave my credit card at the restaurant and the staff was gracious enough to send it to me in the mail. This is certainly our favorite restaurant in Cleveland and we dine here one or two times a year.

Yelp
My steak was overcooked initially, but they promptly fixed it. The Japanese-style complementary bread was tasty. Although the sushi section looked quite small and the choices were limited, we opted for steaks instead. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance was nice and unique, and the server was helpful and kind, but they were busy and couldn't be attentive enough.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and the service overall is terrific although we had some hiccups with timing. Our waitress Tiffany was perhaps the best server we've ever had. The food is good, not great, but the experience is outstanding. Highly recommend

Yelp
Even thought ambiance itself is worth the visit, the food and service are truly on par with the appearance. I came for my birthday celebration (the first time) and we ordered the filet mignon, scallop dish, and hamachi crudo, with a side of mac and cheese to share. Honestly every dish was well worth and packed with flavor and cooked so well. We finished off our meal with an olive oil, lemon and blueberry cake which was rich but not too filling! Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Very nice dining room in old bank turned restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Great steaks and dessert.

Yelp
Is Marble Room worth its hype? Absolutely!!! This was our anniversary dinner and we're so glad that we chose Marble Room as our restaurant of choice. Our server was amazing and actually helped avoid us accidentally ordered too much food (we heavily underestimated the size of the porterhouse). I am in love with the quality and flavor of the steak we had, and still dream about it to this day! The Mac and cheese was also amazing and would highly recommend. We will be returning in the future, and if you do end up trying out marble room, I recommend coming on an empty stomach because you'll definitely walk out stuffed!

Yelp
It was my first time to the world famous Marble Room, and it did not disappoint! The service and the food were top-notch, and I would highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. I know so many people will mention the pricing, and how expensive it can be. But... It doesn't have to be that way. There are plenty of options that won't break the bank, as well as Bottles of wine that are a good deal. Ask your waiter and they'll be happy to guide you. I also would like to give a shout to the actual restaurant space itself. The building is like no other, and becomes part of your experience when you dine there. Make a reservation now, and thank me later!

Yelp
We were in town for business and wanted a nice meal with great atmosphere. Didn't have a reservation but they sat us in the lounge area which was super comfortable with sexy dark green velvet banquets and great people watching without being in the main dining room. The space is awesome, in an old bank, so has super high ceilings with fantastic stonework. Food was delicious (I had oysters Rockefeller for the first time and loved them) We'll definitely be back when in town again next month

Yelp
My girlfriends and I were in town for a girls weekend. We are so, so happy we chose the Marble Room. We had the best night! From the stunning atmosphere, to the warm service and delicious food. We could not have picked a more perfect place. I will most certainly go back anytime I am in town.

Yelp
Went to the Marble Room for my birthday and was excited with everyone said about this place. The service was terrible, our visit took over 2 hours that consisted of one appetizer, a 8 oz filet, and a delmonico. Food was decent at best. The server would be gone for 10s of minutes before returning and then running away again. The "managers" would huddle up in the back and never bothered to visit our table despite making eye contact several times. Only was offered our initial cocktail and never had an opportunity to get a refill. Would not recommend.

Yelp
We had such a good meal! Everything was delicious! We opted to sit in the lounge, which is a more relaxed area with music. The service was great. I would highly recommend this place for a casual dinner with friends/ family or date night.

Yelp
As always, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is pure elegance! It's definitely a splurge, but it can't be beat for a special occasion.

Yelp
Let's start with the idea that this place is set up as though it thinks it is a hip, exclusive, New York city night club. Velvet rope at the front door. Really?! It's not. It is a nice restaurant in downtown Cleveland. With that as back drop, the room is very, very impressive... former bank lobby turned into a cavernous space...with high enough ceilings that the noise level, while high, is manageable. And our server was nothing short of outstanding. Read the table, personable, professional, knew the menu, knew the cocktails, knew the wines. Bravo. As a restaurant, it is a good steakhouse. Steaks, seafood, great sides (would like to have seen more than asparagus and creamed spinach as green sides ... there were four of five different kinds of potatoes!!), and a nice selection of wines by the glass. We had a few steaks, a poke bowl, a couple of salmons, and a crab cake...all really good...all really fully priced...but that's what you expect at a steakhouse. The food was quite good. Most everything was well prepared, although the Cesar salad was massively overdressed to the point of being virtually inedible. Finally, the cotton candy dessert that you see running around is a lovely, fun, shareable touch. Nice signature. Sadly, the meal service was excruciatingly slow (as was as the valet, which was astonishingly bad). Perhaps a consequence of the labor shortage or the kitchen being slammed. They do manage their seatings to manage capacity...so who knows. For this globally, experienced diner, however, the self important, tragically hip attitude on the way in is a disappointment and is wildly out of place. Off putting even. Once you're in, though. Nice. If you are planning a large business outing, birthday party, or special event, it may very well be the best place in Cleveland to go. But be prepared for some attitude ... and to wait... (n.b this was more than the obligatory "we're trying to let you enjoy the evening and have a good chat" ... ) And I'm still waiting for my car...

Yelp
A beautiful 1845 bank bldg. A throwback to the glory days of Cleveland. Wonderful cocktails. Appetizers were delightful. We went down to the vaults after dinner a very nice private dining/cocktail area. We were here around 530pm with another couple. By 615pm the place was heaving. Untimely spacing effected the entrees. There was way too much time between courses. We had to ask the server to check. Food was great. Ambiance and decor was great. Value was in line for a place like this $224./couple. Service was less than expected for a venue such as this. The wine pour. The wine we ordered was delivered by individual other than our server. He poured a taste for me but my wife ordered the wine. He assumed incorrectly. Cappuccinos were served cold and sent back. While service started off well it became lumpy and we could not locate our server for quite some time. She was delightful, pleasant enough and very accommodating but obviously she was working too many tables. We did have dessert and all were pleased with their choices. Ambiance "a", food "a" service "c" value "b". Mark & Nancy. Mark & N

Yelp
This very elegant place offers an elevated dining experience. Located in a historical building with beautifully restored architectural features, the Marble Room provides excellent service and delicious food. Our waiter,Joshua, was attentive, friendly, and helped us select great menu choices. The steaks are perfectly prepared, but the sushi and seafood options are innovative. I recommend the crispy scallion rice with spicy salmon! Even the salads are delicious. Highlights of our evening were the live band after 8:30pm, and the cotton candy birthday surprise for my mom. If you are looking for a classy dinner experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
