Best New Bars Around Boston, According to Eater Editors | Eater Boston

"The Seaport’s cocktail scene just got a big ol’ boost in the form of Marcelino’s, a Providence-based bar that was ready for a larger stage in the form of a Boston expansion. Co-owners Marcelino Ali and Basel Badawi have more space to play at this Seaport spot, which is housed in the former waterfront location of the Daily Catch. Bar director Refaat Ghostine (an alum of Central Station, an award-winning Beirut bar) set up a cocktail lab in the back to put time-intensive prep into drinks like the herbaceous Oregano / Tomato with gin, white vermouth, verjus, oregano, tomato cordial, and a salted white balsamic, and the sweet-savory Watermelon / Rhubarb topped with a salty feta cheese foam." - Erika Adams

Best Dishes Eater Boston’s Editor Ate in April | Eater Boston

"A swanky Seaport cocktail bar whose program, led by an alum of a top World’s 50 Best bar, is engineered to impress. The non-negotiable order is the Oregano/Tomato: a gin-based cocktail made with oregano, tomato cordial, and salted white balsamic, served with a cracker balanced on a single ice cube—pop the cracker first, then sip to get the full oregano-and-tomato effect. The list also plays with high-concept flavors, offering cocktails that translate ideas like caviar and basil into liquid form." - Erika Adams

yesterday me and my boyfriend came in for our 9 months anniversary and we had a couple of dishes and absolutely everything was amazinggg mediterranean food is my absolute favorite and i’ve been looking for a restaurant with this type of food i’ll definitely be returning. we had the goat labneh and dipped all of our dishes in it, it was so refreshing and creamy at the same time we also had the bone marrow tar tar and don’t even get me started on that! the bread and labneh w some tar tar agh literal flavor explosion in my mouth, the last thing we got was also was the aleppo beef kabob it was absolutely delicious only complaint on that one was we only got 2 pieces and last but not least the drinkssss ouuu all of them were so yummy i honestly don’t remember all of the names but the strawberry basil and melon chili were sooooo good i love a fruity juicy cocktail and these were perfect in taste for me overall im gonna wrap this up now definitely worth giving it a shot if your willing to splurge a little

Google
Our experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were seated indoors at a smaller table, but since we had ordered both appetizers and entrées, we requested to move to the patio. The team was extremely accommodating and assisted us promptly and courteously. The tuna was great, the lamb chops perfectly prepared, and the special of the night- the Tiger, was exceptional. The Porn Star Martini was one of the best. Our server, Hagar, provided excellent service-attentive, warm, and consistently checking in to ensure everything met our expectations. The manager also took the time to visit our table, which we greatly appreciated. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, creating a perfect setting for an enjoyable night.

Google
The place is absolutely beautiful — elegant and charming! ✨ The menu isn’t very large, and portions are on the smaller side, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re really hungry — you might need to order several dishes to feel full. The drink was amazing, and the lamb chops were perfectly cooked. The “pão sírio” was freshly made and delicious! 🥖 However, the salad we ordered was very citrusy — to the point of closing your eyes with the sourness 😅 So I couldn’t really enjoy it. Overall, Marcelino’s offers a sophisticated and unique atmosphere. We sat inside since it’s already quite windy and chilly in Boston this time of year (October). Very elegant, by the way, neat and comfortable. Service was okay, nothing exceptional but fine. A great place for stunning views, snacks, and good drinks. 🥂🥗

Google
We had a fabulous evening at Marcelino’s. The drinks were unique and very well balanced. The food was beautifully plated and full of amazing flavors - you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. That being said, the best part of our night was our server, Hagar. She was the full of life and kindness and gave wonderful recommendations - and was funny to top it off. We will plan to go back, especially when she is working!

Google
What a fantastic way to end the evening. We started the meal off with mixed drinks. I had the strawberry basil and it was light and not too sweet. The lamb chops were juicy and burying with flavor. We ended the night with the steak and it did not disappoint. Tender and buttery, the steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server was very kind and attentive. The violinist was super fun. To top it all off, the views were insane.

Google
Kate, Diego, Ari and Jose absolutely crushed it. Marcelino’s has a swanky feel with great cocktails and wild flavor combinations. The bartenders are personable and honest. Definitely cannot recommend enough (& sit at the bar!! Kate is such a great time)

Google
Cameron and Jose were amazing! We came in for a friends birthday, after drinks, nothing crazy but they made it so special. We got some espresso martinis and apps, everything was so delicious. When we were wrapping up, they brought out a little cake so we could sing happy birthday to my bestie and it made the experience all the more special. I love when a restaurant has staff that really goes above and beyond to make a memory magical; Marcelino’s is a top spot if you want to make an impression, thank you again Cameron and Jose!!

Google
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Marcelino’s Seaport in Boston’s vibrant waterfront district, and it truly stands out as a sophisticated escape amid the area’s more generic spots. With Mediterranean vibe and cool architecture, Its a great place perfect for a date night or after-work unwind. The place is huge inside and out. They have done a great job in lighting and decorations. I started with the melon/Bergamot inspired cocktail and my wife had Oregano/Tomato and also quince/cilantro based cocktail. We both liked it however, it felt like drinking infused water. We could smell the flavor but we could not taste it. But worth one time try If you’re a cocktail enthusiast My wife is vegetarian so she had a hard time choosing vegetarian options from the menu. She ordered parmesan crisps and roasted cauliflower. They both were nice but only a few options in vegetarian dishes. The overall menu leans heavily toward meat and seafood dishes so it’s not the best choice if you’re strictly vegetarian or vegan. I ordered chicken skewers which was also okay. Overall, I’d give Marcelino’s Seaport 4 out of 5 stars. It has perfect views of Boston Harbor and a great spot for cocktail lovers and those seeking an elevated Mediterranean experience with harbor views, but vegetarians might want to look elsewhere for more dedicated options. Highly recommended for a stylish night out

Yelp
The drinks were off the charts and the food was just as good! Manuela was an excellent server and Ari, Kate and Joe were incredible behind the bar. Every single thing we ordered was fantastic, you really can't go wrong here.

Yelp
I'm about a month removed from this experience, but I felt the need to come back and leave a review because my night celebrating my master's degree was only made possible by three of your wonderful employees: Larissa, Lani, and Tim. We had reservations at a nearby restaurant for a celebratory dinner, but I insisted we stop at my favorite spot, Marcelino's, for pre-dinner drinks and apps. My friend was running a bit late due to bad traffic caused by a car accident on the highway that night. When she finally arrived about an hour late, there was a huge line! Luckily, Larissa, Lani, and Tim understood our situation and saved our night. Because these three caring, empathetic, and thoughtful humans saw what I was going through and helped by allowing my best friend to join us, we decided to cancel our dinner reservation and spend the rest of the evening at Marcelino's, enjoying drinks and trying different entrees! These three fabulous employees truly deserve a raise, and I'll be calling the manager on Monday to make sure my praise is heard!

Yelp
10/10 would recommend you checking this place out. I found it on social media. It has the waterfront views and its outdoor set up with sofas and tables. They also have an indoor restaurant and huge bar area. I didn't have a reservation but was able to seat at the outdoor bar area. The service was great and helpful when deciding between drinks. They have an extensive drink menu and Mediterranean food menu as well. I got the following drinks: Melon chili, light and refreshing the melon was just a garnish and not really tasted in the drink. There was a chili taste and Smokey element as well. Watermelon rhubarb, was a watermelon refresher with a feta cheese cream top. Very light and refreshing Baklava was their take on an old fashioned. It was honey whiskey and not much on the baklava spices that I could tell the difference

Yelp
Beautiful place with 110% ambience inside and out! Great for drinks, a few apps, and the stunning view--not for a big meal. Apps were hit or miss, but service was amazing.

Yelp
We had an amazing evening at Marcelino's! I had accidentally made our reservation for the Rhode Island location even though we live in Boston and the manager who greeted us couldn't have been more kind and gracious about it - he was able to seat us in Boston and take care of communication with the Rhode Island location. The decor and atmosphere was exactly what we were in the mood for- beautiful and lounge like. All the food we had was delicious and each dish had a unique flavor or ingredient that made everything feel creative. Can't recommend enough!

Yelp
Had an amazing birthday dinner. Party of 13 and it went very smooth. Great vibes on the patio

Yelp
The food at Marcelino is just okay -- a bit hit or miss. Some dishes land well, but others fall short. The squid dish, for example, wasn't what I expected and left me a little disappointed. On the plus side, the drinks are pretty solid and worth trying if you're stopping in. Overall, not a bad spot, they have great view of the water outside
google avatar

Katie E.

Yelp
I'll start this by saying: Marcelino's is a tough one to review. It's a beautiful space with quality drinks and food in a prime location, but it's real expensive, and takes itself pretty seriously. We stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. There's a bouncer at the front door and while there was no line at 7pm when we arrived, by the time we left there was a substantial line (velvet ropes and all) of people dressed to the nines waiting to get it. The restaurant is really luxurious and vibey but super small - though I think the back room has a DJ that was drawing this crowd in. At its core, Marcelino's is a cocktail bar. The drink menu is all designed around the flavor profiles and ingredients. Some of our favorites were the classic dirty martini, Oregano/Tomato, and Basil. There were some great flavors and everything was perfectly balanced, but at $20-$30 per cocktail, you'd expect nothing less. There's also a full menu of mediterranean small plates (at full entree prices...). Everything we tried was delicious, but with a group of 4, it was really hard to order enough to fill everyone up without spending a fortune. Our waitress was really helpful and the service all around was great, I just probably wouldn't visit for a meal again. It's more of a drinks and a light snack spot for a special occasion in my opinion. Restaurants like this have been popping up more and more to fill a hole in the nightlife scene in Boston (such a casual city), but you're really paying for the decor, location, and IG photos, rather than the actual meal. Still, you have to respect the quality food and cocktails, just make sure you know what you're getting yourself into :)

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place for a month or so and finally made it here. It's a nice cocktail bar with really unique flavors. Very pricey though (~$20/cocktail) and some places I think it's worth it but I wasn't blown away by these. Very good but not worth that price. The food was good but it's small plates so it's not really designed for dinner (even though reservations between 4-9 have to be dinner). It was a nice vibe but very small. Overall, I thought it was good but I'm not sure I'll be dying to go back.

Yelp
Relaxing ambiance with little be music and relaxing vibes . Service was prompt and friendly . Drinks were fantastic .

Stephon M.

Yelp
Usually new places are overhyped but this place was solid! Good vibes and music Service vis bartenders was great and super helpful Eggplant miso 5/5 Lamb chop 5/5 Chicken schnitzel 4/5 Cocktails were creative but not amazing for $22+...should be priced around $15 max
google avatar

Debi S.

Yelp
Lamb chops were amazing! I'd come back to eat this. It smelled incredible walking in. The view is beautiful from the high tops by the railing. I felt like sitting inside or on the regular tables on the patio had an obstructed view. Service was super slow and inattentive on a Tuesday evening. I can't imagine what this would be like on a busier day. I agree the pricing is high. I had a mid cocktail for over $23 with the taxes included. At this price point, I expect more than a pretty drink. 1 drink and one "larger" item without a side ran me $75. I was on a work trip, so that helped.
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
Server was elite! He helped us pick cocktails based on our preferences. Soooo many good options that in order to try them all, we would've been hammered! Our chosen 3 were out of this world. Went late afternoon before the rush and didn't need a resey

Aaron F.

Yelp
Gabby was our server and she MADE the experience at Marcelino's. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. All the drinks (recommended by Gabby) were TOP tier. Food was amazing as well. Fantastic vibe and the music was great. We are from LA and will absolutely be visiting Mareclino's again.

Yelp
I visited on a bustling Saturday night at prime time-- around 9:45pm with a group of 5. We were asked if we had a reservation at the front entrance (we didn't) and they had to check to see if they could let us in. We only waited a few seconds for them to check and were let in. It was very crowded and we had to stand in the corner in the back, but all the workers were very nice! A worker asked us if we wanted to put our coats in the back on a chair and servers checked in on us frequently. Drinks were super fancy and delicious! I'd highly recommend checking this place out but recommend making a reservation beforehand.
google avatar

Igor R.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time here. It was completely packed when I arrived, but managed to snag two seats at the bar. I would highly encourage people to get a reservation before arriving. Bartender and staff were friendly, warm and walked us through the menu. The cocktails were outstanding, well-balanced and creative. They reminded me a lot of the (now closed) Good Company Cocktail Bar - whereas the closer resemble a particular dish (like the Baklava Cocktail). The food was good. 4/5 for me. The tartare was is one of the better tartare's in Boston and was particularly impressive. That said, as a restaurant - I don't think is worth going out of your way for. But as a bar with snacks, this hits the spot. The restaurant is beautifully decorated which helps. I'm not going to ding any stars for this - but I do think the place has a bit of an identity crisis. Yes, the menu is cohesive and work beautifully with the drinks. But I was confused about why they hired a DJ? The place is loud enough, it's completely seated, it's too small to be a club and there's certainly no room to dance. That whole aspect could've been replaced with a Spotify Playlist, and been 10-15% quieter. Funny thing is that the DJ was pretty good, just unnecessary. I have a feeling this was a "Friday night" thing, so I may most recommend here on a weekday. All this aside, in a Seaport full of *meh* bars and restaurants - Marcelino's is a welcomed addition. There's still some kinks to work out - which is fine, I don't think they've had a grand opening yet - so I'm excited to see what'll be like in 6 months. Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
I had an incredible time here! I went here for my birthday and they made it an amazing experience! The ambience was chic and the service was so lovely. I got the strawberry cocktail- it was unique, delicious, and pretty! For food we got the ciabatta (which came with pita) and hummus. The hummus was amazing!! At the end they even included mini strawberry drinks and a birthday candle! It made my night. Incredible spot for a special occasion

Kate C.

Yelp
Absolutely AMAZING experience!! Our bartender who I believe his name was Carlos had us so entertained and engaged! We are from Philly so we felt right at home!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
The location and the vibe of this place are great! Right by the water, dark and moody. They're opening up a gorgeous patio soon too-- definitely going to need to go! I had their porn star martini (amazing), one of their dips (can't remember which.. not memorable, very small), and the cauliflower (delicious). Overall, I'd go back for the cocktails and the vibe, but not blown away by the food. It was all good, just nothing to write home about!

Kalie J.

Yelp
Make sure to call in advance and ask for the main dining room because if not they will stick you in an unaesthetic small sitting room that multiple guests asked "is this the waiting room". After asking to be moved they said they would put a note on our reservation for the next time but there won't be a next time. Service was slow and very not accommodating.

Savannah B.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place, not only is the food exceptional but Chris specifically makes our experience every time, and we will come back every time because of him.

Sudhir M.

Yelp
Name suggests Italian cuisine but it is actually Lebanese. Outside seating is nice but not much of a view due to large pillars. Lamb kebabs were very good but quantity left a lot to be desired considering the price. No rice or pita was served with it. Margarita was overpriced, small glass, too much ice and seemed a bit watered down. Don't waste your money here.

Caroline M.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere with a great view of the water. Food was great! We sat facing the water so it was difficult to share a lot of food - definitely get a table ahead of time.
google avatar

Sherry P.

Yelp
Drinks , service and food was amazing ! Very loungey ambience with gorgeous decor . Staff was super friendly . Food portions are small . It's good to have a nibble with your drink. Will definitely come back when the outside area opens in June .

Steven E.

Yelp
Meh. Yet another place that charges entree prices for tapas. The food and drinks were good, but I'm tired of this bait and switch that is becoming increasingly more common. I'm coming for a freaking meal, not a snack. Still hungry $100 later (for 2). Thank god I have a Chipotle burrito in the fridge at home. Every place on the water in Seaport a ripoff. I could've written an identical review for three other places I've been to this summer.

Lauren L.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing. Sat at the bar with Carlos and Ari. They were so friendly and inviting. A must try.

Chris L.

Yelp
Great view and stylish décor, though the patio chairs aren't very comfortable. The food and drinks were good, but overpriced. Nearly $25 for an Old Fashioned and no one asked what bourbon I preferred. Service felt rushed--plates were cleared instantly, and at times before I was even done. The pace made it feel more like an assembly line than a relaxed lunch out. For the price, I expected much better.

Johanna F.

Yelp
Had dinner and drinks at Marcelino's last night. Pros: - Our server, Chris, was fantastic. - Views/ambiance are on point. - Wine was great. Cons: - Food was meh. Not bad but not awesome. - Very expensive for what it is. I'd definitely go back for cocktails but won't be getting dinner there in the future.
google avatar

Ani G.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with friends and it was amazing. Everything we ordered tasted so good and came out fresh. High quality ingredients and great flavors. We preferred family style so we tried a little bit of everything. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere. They also had so many cool cocktails on their menu to choose from. Looking forward to coming back here.

Christine F.

Yelp
amazing place went there the other night so impressed the atmosphere was sooo cozy...kate and cameron the bartenders were incredible they made this amazing parsley drink I have never had before....espresso martini was also amazing....will definitely be back can't wait to see all the other cocktails those girls will recommend..
google avatar

Samrana B.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem in Seaport! The drinks are amazing! Well crafted, flavorful and just the right balance. If you like a fresh light drink I'd recommend Parsley or Basil. If you want something smooth and light get the Palo Honey. Porn Star was Smokey and just right. I was not a fan of the watermelon rhubarb it has a feta cheese topping that once you get past it's fine but just wasn't for me. The place is fun and chic, prefect for a night out without feeling overly crowded. Since it's still now it hasn't been overrun yet making it a great spot to enjoy an intimate vibe. Definitely a must visit before the secret gets out!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Marcelino's is a perfect new addition to Seaport. The interior is absolutely stunning, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is super sexy! The cocktails are well crafted and the bites were delicious. Rating Marcelino's 4 stars because they were out of the lamb chops and are charging $28 for 2 lamb skewers, which is ridiculous. Overall, beautiful restaurant.
google avatar

Abby H.

Yelp
Came here late on a Sunday night after dinner for drinks. Immediately, when I walk in, a lady tells me that I have to try one of the cocktails. It was this half coffee half citrus drink - definitely something I haven't had before, and I ordered another after I finished it. They had a lot of cocktail options, and I'd want to come back again and try more. Inside is beautiful, and you can watch the harbor from inside.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
I booked a table on the patio to celebrate my anniversary dinner one month ago. I was notified less than one week out from the reservation that the patio had been rented out by a private party that my reservation needed to be moved inside. I told them this was less than ideal for me because I was now no longer able to find a reservation for an outdoor dinner. The manager was unapologetic but offered to seat us at a table inside right next to the windows with a view of the patio. When my wife and I arrived there was no note of that on the reservation and we were seated in a dark back room. Thank you Marcelino's for ruining our anniversary dinner! I cannot speak for the food because we chose to leave at this point.
google avatar

Brianna M.

Yelp
I took my friend here for his Birthday, and it didn't disappoint. The food, waitstaff, and overall vibe was great. I would highly recommend.

Alina M.

Yelp
The low rating is due to rude and unprofessional handling of our party by the floor manager (Ian?) which spoiled the entire experience. Otherwise - this place has beautiful views, limited but fairly tasty food. Hope the restaurant management adds "hospitality" to the menu. It was my birthday celebration and I booked a table for DINNER for 6 a week in advance. We get there and are seated in a round couch with a low table in a middle, of about 24in in diameter, cute to put a drink on but certainly not for having any food. I approach the manager at the front desk, explaining that we'd like to have dinner and asking for a table that would accommodate that. We discuss an option of putting together 2 tables of 4 once they free up - great! We proceed to order drinks waiting for our table. We see multiple tables of 4 free up right in front of us and ask one of the hosts if some of them are for us and they confirm so. Time goes by, nothing is happening. I go up to the manager for an update and he says that he's not able to give us any of those tables due to other reservations and offers us a high table on the back of the terrace. We're not happy but agree to it and move because we want to be able to eat, while the regular tables we want remain unoccupied right in front us. Time goes by, tables remain empty. We get wrong drinks served to us 3 times - fine, we take it in stride. Service is not great, slow - but ok we go with it. The tables right in front remain unoccupied 90min after the manager said he would move us there, and I approach him again - he says he has reservations. Ok.... Time goes by..... Tables remain unoccupied. I approach the manager again as many tables are free and ask him for his business card, as being an executive myself I think he's not handling it well and I would provide feedback. He comes back with a generic business card of the restaurant. I say - I asked for YOUR business card, and these are the words that come out of his mouth: "If you're going to cause any more problems I will have you checked out of the restaurant and this will be it. My name is Ian Lynch if you'd like know". Whoa..... We paid our $700 bill for a few drinks and appetizers and took the rest of the evening to Ocean Prime. There are other places along the same water front that are a lot more friendly and accommodating. Woods Hill, SAVR - both awesome - great food, amazing views, professional staff. Staff can really make or break your experience - that's why this industry is called "hospitality".
google avatar

Victoria O.

Yelp
Ambiance is 5/5. Food is 3/5. It reminds me of New York so I like it. Also it stays open fairly late. A dislike of mine is that the bathroom is outside of the restaurant and it's winter ( it's freezing).
google avatar

Albert K.

Yelp
Great new addition to Boston's speakeasy-esque cocktail lounge! Bit tucked away from hustle and bustle of Seaport but a welcomed oasis if you are looking for creative cocktails and small bites. Came here for their soft opening with friends for drinks. The drinks definitely very creative and tasty. The service was also attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very high class vibe with great drinks for pre dinner or for a night cap.

Billy M.

Yelp
Everything was awesome the waitress and staff were great and the food/drinks/vibe makes this place worth coming back.
google avatar

Tien N.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, it give very Miami vibes. The server and the host we very nice and attentive. The food and drinks were very good. Down side is the small table could barely fit the tapas and drinks . The dishes were pretty pricy for Tapas.

Taryn J.

Yelp
This place had incredible PR across socials, so I decided to check it out. Pros: The cocktails were good, small but well done. The lamb skewers were yummy and tender, and the hummus with pita was also delicious. We sat at the bar and the ambiance was nice; it reminded me of a Miami speakeasy. Cons: it took 15 minutes for us to be greeted (we were at the bar and neither bartender acknowledged us). The cauliflower was very undercooked, which was unfortunate because the sauce had good flavor. With a little refinement I think this place would thrive.

K L.

Yelp
Great spot on the water. Fantastic small plates. The lamb chops were amazing. Mediterranean influenced food was fresh and bursting with flavor. Server was super knowledgeable and attentive. Arrived at 5 on a Thursday and was quiet, but the buzz picked up fast by 6. The drinks were creative and made with ingredients made there, but limited beer choice.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Worst place ever. Went for a birthday, service was okay but food and drinks were overpriced. No alcohol in the drinks! We sat on foot stools, so uncomfortable. Vibes were good that's about it!

Kayla C.

Yelp
My girls and I were in town celebrating one of their birthdays. This was our first night out and first stop of the night. It's super cute outside, by the water and decorated nicely, We were immediately greeted by the guy who checks our IDs, and directed to the front desk for our reservation. We were immediately sat. This is where it starts to go downhill. Our table is seating directly by this party who was standing up at a reserved spot parallel to our table. The party was not aware of personal space at all. We also waited about 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us to order any kind of drinks. No apology either for the lack of service and wait time. Long story short , we asked to move tables and we got asked if we wanted to move to a smaller table with the same situation of a bigger party standing right by it . We finished our drink and left . I told my Boston friends about my experience and they said that is very common at this place. Truly sad, my girls and I were excited to try it.

Gracie B.

Yelp
Stunning views and good drinks. We got here right when they opened and were seated immediately on the patio.
google avatar

Maroun N.

Yelp
Food was excellent and the cocktails delicious. Service was very good. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable - and could be described as romantic if you were so inclined.
google avatar

Sandy K.

Yelp
I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but both times the food was disappointing. From the hummus, the roasted cauliflower, the branzino and the pistachio dessert that was extremely dry and flavorless. The only Pinot noir option they had was horrible. The place is extremely small and be prepared to pay $42 for parking.

Panayota G.

Yelp
Marcelino's is undeniably a beautiful lounge in a great spot. It has good vibe and ambiance. Our server was very kind and helpful. That said, the place is highly overrated. First of all, food portions are minimalist (yes, I understand that they are small plate to share, but this should also be reflected on the price!). Not only is the food pricey, the quality is average. Let's admit: this is not a restaurant, it is a lounge where food is only complementary to the cocktails-something to pick on. Cocktails are very good but so low in alcohol. Finally, what really bothered me was the restaurant's policy to try to get you out the door after just one hour. I had just gotten another cocktail and food in our plates when we were asked if we need anything else (dessert). Sadly, we won't be returning.
