I've found a new "Happy Place"!!! From the door it was Top Tier service. And I never imagined I'd be there while Chef Trinidad was present, let alone have him check in on our table, send some celebratory cocktails, and take a picture with me. The Chop Cheese Ravioli was TOP TIER, and our waitress was a delight. I am looking forward to past Tuesday and enjoying the beautiful eatery.

Great atmosphere at this restaurant. Prices are a bit steep, though, and portions are small - e.g. over $20 for a large piece of ravioli with a bit of meat inside is a bit excessive. Pasta choices were a bit rough because they ran out of pappardelle, which is great with Bolognese. The Bolognese was a better value than the chopped cheese ravioli, but still was not a lot of food. As a group of three, we spent over $150 on food and were still hungry at the end of the night.

Lovely decor and wonderful tasty dishes. The Chopped Cheese Raviolo was delish. The cheese puff appetizers were yummy. We arrived but two in our party were running late but the hostess allowed us to sit at our table and wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I came for an early dinner and we started off with the clams. 10/10 Recommend. I ordered the Frozen Rose, I'd give it a 8/10 and my sister got the Aperol Spritz, which I'd give a 9/10. Complimentary sliced bread was offered which was delicious. The Chopped Cheese Raviolo was very delicious. A nice take on a NY classic, but with a twist. My sister inhaled hers before I could even get a bite. Definitely recommend trying. We also ordered the Lamb Pasta, I'd give an 8/10. It was good; not too filling but not too light that your looking for something else. We didn't have enough room for dessert, but I plan on returning to try more of the menu. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars because I didn't get to try enough food.

Came for a friends birthday dinner last night and everything was amazing! The food, the drinks, the ambiance, the SERVICE. Our server was extremely accommodating and patient for a party of 11! The cake we brought got messed up on the way over and they offered to fix it up for us without hesitation. The smoked octopus was one of my favorites of the night followed by the chicken parm and spicy vodka pasta. They also have an outdoor patio area that looked very cute but of course it was raining. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here for dinner and it was delightful! The service was great from the moment I walked in to the time I left. The music creates a nice vibe. The server told us about the drink specials they had that night. Of course I had to try their passionfruit margarita (made it spicy) 🔥🔥🔥 For starters I had their focaccia bread which was so good. It’s baked with a slight crunch/chew and comes in a circle pan served fresh and hot! 👌🏾👌🏾 I also had their Caesar salad! It was different than what I’m used to (because of the bitter taste the lettuce has) but the croutons, cheese and dressing made it a great mixture of flavors and texture. For our entrees I had to try their Chopped Cheese Ravioli! It tastes just like chopped cheese. The sauce is delectable. The meat is seasoned very well. Only regret Is I wish I had more 😫 I also tried their Spicy Vodka Rigatoni Pasta dish and it was delicious! It was very flavorful and the serving was enough for 2 people to share! Last but not least was the 100 layer Eggplant Parm! It was my favorite! It was oozing with cheese! I had a cheese pull with every bite! The eggplant was delicious and the sauce underneath added a nice touch. After my excitement from the entrees I decided to try the “This That and The Other” mezcal cocktail and it was like an added treat. My server always made sure to check on us. Ask us if we needed anything and see how everything was going. Overall I left there feeling great! I’ll definitely be back to try their other cocktails and dishes.

Delicious. I love this place! It’s a great addition to the neighborhood. My favorite things were the chopped cheese raviolo and Ropa vieja pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and super flavorful. They have a great wine deal on Wednesdays as well! My only critique is that, even though the chicken parm is fried to perfection, I felt it needed more sauce. I know it’s not a red sauce joint but chicken parm should be sauce-y to me and I had to ask for some sauce on the side. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is amazing! Marie’s is a charming craft cocktail bar / Italian restaurant with a creative menu and gorgeous ambience. Our favorite apps were the white clams, meatballs and the risotto was to die for. Would highly recommend the “Leave the gun take the cannoli” spritz. Service was great. Would highly recommend ☺️

I love Marie's! I highly recommend - I really enjoy coming here for a great vibe and delicious food. The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time I come and the whole restaurant has a cozy but casual upscale decor with a beautiful back patio. I have tried many menu items including the focaccia and meatballs. The pasta is delicious with lots of great sauce options (my favorite is cacio e Pepe). I personally love Al denté pasta, but if you don't then I recommend asking them to cook the pasta a little longer. I normally am not big on tiramisu but this dulce de leche one is a great combination of light cake and thick cream. Highly recommend!

I want to love it here & I believe this spot has the potential, but there were just a few things that could've been improved. First, the waitress told me after I asked for food /drink recommendations & explanations that she was new but I wish she brought over another person to assist as it was a slow night. There were long pauses as she had to go over a few things with who I'm guessing is her manager throughout my dining experience. But, moving on to the food- the pork chop was delicious & the chicken Parmesan. The portions were huge, and the chicken Parmesan didn't come with pasta or vegetables but we left full. It just felt incomplete. We ordered the happy hour spritz and meegherita & had to reorder. They weren't really balanced & bitter So we asked for a basic margarita. The good part was the decor. Clean, nicely lit, modern but still homey. Also, there's a backyard which would be nice for warmer weather.

We like Marie's! Me and the boo have been twice and enjoyed our dinner both times. Really love the chop cheese ravioli, the flavor is just there. I do think it should be listed as an appetizer or add more ravioli to be a main it's just not a big enough portion lol my bf likes the chicken parm and I tried the lamb ragu and another pasta I forgot but it was all good. I say come and give it a try.

This place deserves 0 stars. We made a reservation for Valentine's Day to try a local restaurant. When we arrived, they handed us a prefixed menu, which was not advertised on their website. The menu was $85 per person and had zero substitutions. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. As they sat us, almost all the tables were occupied, and many had their first course. We placed our order and immediately noticed they turned up the music to a deafening volume. On top of this, they played songs like "shake that a**" for a room full of people trying to enjoy a nice Valentine's Day dinner. Clearly, they did not know their audience. We asked the wait staff to turn down the music, which was ignored. The dinner service was chaotic to put it nicely. Our courses came out 50 minutes apart, stone cold, and mediocre at best. Other tables that had been seated before us were still not served. The vast majority of the guests were clearly frustrated and dissatisfied with the experience. As they served our dessert, they offered it "to go" since they clearly overbooked and wanted to turn tables. We elected to stay and subsequently watched three tables be comped their meal because they had only received two of the four courses over the 2.5 hours they had been there. The server had the audacity to still ask for a tip from these tables which clearly made the guests uncomfortable. This was a horrible experience from start to finish. The surprise prefix menu, the miserable service, and the mediocre food. Support other businesses over this place.

Update- even worse than I thought. My friend ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and we realized they served her lamb ragu instead and she doesn't eat lamb

Here for Valentine's Day and they have a pre fixed lacking most of the popular items. They wouldn't allow substitutions and didn't notify of the pre fixe when booked. Wasted trip

Cute spot. The food was tasty. Service was good but it was empty. Came on a weekday. I would return.

I had a birthday dinner at Marie's with my best friend this Sunday. The restaurant was very pretty and the staff friendly and kind. We shared the chopped cheese ravioli, lamb patty pappardelle and the eggplant parm. The food was generally good but it felt like the meats (in the ravioli and the pappardelle) was overcooked and felt a bit chewy, especially in the ravioli which is surprising since it's supposed to be their star dish. We also noted that it was my birthday and the waitress even stopped by to check so I did think they might provide a small birthday dessert (like many restaurants do) but they didn't. Not really a negative but I wouldn't flag this spot for a special occasion. This is a solid spot and a gem in the neighborhood and we'll be back for dinner.

Service is great--the pastas were absolutely insane along with the clams and the steak! We got some mini martinis for happy hour that were spot on, honestly just a fun neighborhood spot in bushwick that we'll be frequenting!

Finally dined at this new Michelin style restaurant. The minimalistic aesthetic is eye pleasing. Location easy accessible for disabled individuals and two blocks east of dekalb station. There's brunch on weekends. There's back patio seating, bar, and dining options. Water closet located past the kitchen, adjacent to patio. I like the bright yet romantic decor. The food was spectacular, I ordered chop cheese ravioli with focaccia bread. The bread is meant to share but I used half to dip in the delicious ravioli sauce. The chop cheese ravioli tasted like a ny chop cheese, hint of Dominican flavors, and Italian cuisine simultaneously. You could share but it's enough for one or split in a small group/date. The focaccia served with their house butter that had chili flakes but not spicy if worried. I wanted to try their tiramisu but wasn't available. Hopefully they'll keep it in the menu to try next time. The staff were nice, I dined within opening hour. I was recommended by an ig influencer which could be 50/50. But Marie's is the 5 star hit. The chef/owner was there. Didn't get to speak with him but I like the fusion cuisine and the r&b playlist. The thought was there with the specialized menu and modern twist on classic dishes. I will definitely return to try other options. A little pricey but it's worth it. I like posh eateries and Dominican owned. Definitely give Marie's a try. View menu online if it fits your diet.

I wanted to like this place given the good reviews, but unfortunately after giving it two chances I was extremely disappointed. The first time my boyfriend and I made reservations ahead of time for Valentine's Day after checking out the menu + reviews online. When we arrived we were told the menu was different which was not indicated during the reservation process nor on the website, and it was going to be about $80 per person. It was so unorganized, we waited over an hour to without receiving our food. The staff kept saying it was almost ready. Nevertheless, we had to leave (along with many others) due to not being served. We decided to give it another chance, chalking our first experience up to it just being a busy Holiday. Again, the menu changed, we tried the steak and spicy vodka pasta and it was very average for the price. The worst part is that it was busy every time we went and every time there was ONE waitress running around handling almost all the table while the other sat in the back ON HER PHONE?? We waited so long each time and they don't actually care about the customers.

Food is delicious, friendly and fast service and cozy ambiance, Love sitting in the patio !! They have different menus for Brunch, dinner, drinks, I recommend the Duck Ropa Vieja, the Chopped Cheese and the Eggplant parm SO FREAKING DELICIOUS these are my favorites.

Had dinner here on a weeknight. We walked in and were seated immediately. Cocktail bar atmosphere. Plenty of patrons were dressed nicely. They had four beers on draft along with some spirit and wine options. I opted for a Pilsner from Talea. We shared their take on a Caesar salad, the chopped cheese ravioli, and the market mushroom. My wife ordered the tiramisu for dessert; she didn't like it and they kindly took it off our bill. They have two gender neutral restrooms with one being handicap accessible. Service was attentive and quick.

On top of this, they played Kendrick & Future for a room full of people trying to enjoy a nice Valentine's Day dinner. They clearly didn't understand the assignment. The service moved at a glacial pace. Our courses came out 45+ minutes apart and the courses were mediocre at best. Sometimes, my wife & I had our plates come separately, which added to an already terrible experience. As they served our dessert, they offered it "to go" since they clearly overbooked and needed to turn tables. We elected to stay and subsequently watched the table next to us be comped their meal because they had been waiting for their main course for over 2 hours. They were gracious but clearly upset. This was a horrible experience from start to finish. The surprise prefix menu, which featured almost ZERO menu items from their full menu, really set a poor tone for the evening. The miserable service, randomly spicy mocktails and the mediocre food cemented the abysmal nature of this dining experience.

Wow, came here for dinner with friends and I have to say it was one of my favorite meals I've had in a while. We started with the fried olives and bread. The fried olives were one of my favorite bites of the night. We tried the octopus and clams and both were delicious. Although I'm not huge on octopus it was delish and the sauce was so flavorful and paired well with it. For mains we got the porchetta, vodka rigatoni, chopped cheese raviolo, and eggplant Parm and while everything was delish the eggplant park was the start of the show. Great ambiance, good music, good drinks, back patio area. A little on the pricier side but well worth the money !

The reason I came to this restaurant is because I am a big fan of Chef Miguel. He used to have a restaurant called the 99th floor which is going under some rebranding. Chef Miguel has been all over the news being praised for his wonderful cuisine. So now that I'm in New York for my birthday I had to try his newest restaurant. This place is so cozy and romantic with the best music playing in the background. It has an open kitchen and a back room for additional seating. One of the special seating areas was this outrageously beautiful romantic outdoor patio in the back. It was raining this evening but I'm sure if it wasn't it would be packed. The bathrooms were designed for selfies. I know that sounds weird but you have to check it out for yourself. I'm sure you'll agree with me. Very cute. Okay now on to the food. Everything was delish! Oh, I guess I should break it down. The smoked octopus was tender and juicy. The stuffed fried olives were new to my taste buds. I've never had that before Interesting. The skate piccata was like butter. It melted in my mouth. It glistened on the plate. The oyster risotto is vegan. And y'all know I am a carnivore. I have to say I wasn't missing the meat. It was smooth and delicious. Our very attentive server brought me a scoop of strawberry gelato with balsamic reduction drizzle on top. I know, I know what's that about you ask? It went together so well. I never eat dessert with my meal but I had to try that combination. I ate the whole thing. Also, I couldn't refuse a birthday scoop of ice cream on the house. Great Chef, great atmosphere, wonderful food and good company. I couldn't ask for a better ending to my birthday.

I dearly miss Sally Roots, but Marie's does a great job of filling that brunch hole in my heart. Came here on the early side for brunch, and the vibes are a little different than Sally Roots, obviously, but still has that charm and is a lot more chic. The brunch menu has a lot to offer and has so many delicious dishes. The benedicts over polenta is such a move and it paid of so well. Really delicious hollandaise with perfectly poached egg over mortadella - YUM. Even the breakfast potatoes were no slouch! Seasoned well and nice and crispy. The pancetta hash was so good too! Crispy potatoes, pancetta and eggs, very tasty paired with the homemade hot sauce. The skillet focaccia was a great starter with the chili oil butter. Not too spicy but so warm and tasty! Make sure if you're a meat eater to get the side of italian sausage. Just like Sally Roots with their Dominican sausage, this is a yummy piece of meat, perfectly spiced and so savory. Stellar brunch and can't wait to go back for another meal!

Made reservations after my friend called last week and was told they do not take walk-ins. I saw this restaurant advertised on TikTok and the food looked amazing. I asked for the porchetta over polenta. The food was seasoned well, but it was basically a piece of chicharrón over aerated polenta. Chicharrón is crispy pork skin and its underlining fat with no trace of meat. Porchetta is similar, but its still managed to be stuffed with meat (pork loin). This dish was pure fat. Half the "porchetta" should've been used as garnish instead of a meal. The polenta needed to be heavier. It's important to note if you are truly hungry - know the portions are in Tapas Bar measurements. The tiramisu was also a disappointment. How is there effort in presentation for the main dishes, but present a spooned glob of tiramisu for dessert? The ambiance was nice. The waiter and staff were friendly. It's spacious with beautiful backyard seating, and music selection was great. I understand they just opened and I tried to give them grace, but the "porchetta" chicharrón was not it. I couldn't eat the pure fat that was then drizzled with olive oil. I did like their take on the chopped-cheese ravioli but another gimmick. The highlight was the wine. Would I recommend for now? No. But I wish them the best.

Food was wonderful but kitchen staff made me uncomfortable the entire time I was dining. Would not stop staring at me and tried to stop me on my way out. Walked by the table multiple times staring me down. Ruined the entire experience by being uncomfortable by the staff.

Saw this place from one of the influencers I follow Had to book a reservation! A few good points and a few opportunities Let's start with food! 1. The focaccia bread! Pretty good with a chili red pepper butter you feel a slight kick in your throat after a moment or so. Apart from the that the butter tastes like butter I had to ask the waiter what it was instead of him volunteering what I was eating 2. The spicy vodka pasta was not spicy at all (I usually get my spicy vodka from Uncle Giuseppe's marketplace so I guess I was looking for that flavor/taste or a spicy kick but it never happened) it was just ok 3. The duck ropa vieja was dry on the ends of the tortellini as if it sat out for a while There was not enough duck ratio to the pasta it was just ok you do not really taste any duck 4. The raviolo! NAILED IT! smooth, creamy, buttery soft pasta and flavorful meat with a fantastic sauce! A HIT! For the service- Reservation was for 5:30pm We were placed all the way in the back and there were no other diners , we were rushed with our plates and the waiter even asked me to put my bread on my main dinner plate It was only 2 of us and we were only in the restaurant for all of 35 mins that's from start to finish! As we left and exited into the other smaller room their were diners in there, and as we exited there were diners at the bar and sitting near the window! No Idea why were were placed all the way in the back with no one! I don't want to even begin to think why we were rushed out , and or the feeling of being rushed out but not a good one to start with I wanted to love Marie's! I truly did but after much reflection I would not return

Finally got the chance to try this restaurant out and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding, I had the lamb ragu but the real star of the show was the eggplant! The service was pretty good no complaints there. Finally the overall vibe was great to have a nice dinner or even a drink with friends ( try their version of the espresso martini)

I want to like this place. The service, atmosphere, and drinks are amazing. The location is perfect for me but the food is mediocre. I tried the spicy Vodka Rigatoni for the second time and its just not good. Watery and flavorless. Same with the other pasta dishes like the lamb ragu and cacio e pepe, very disappointing. The chicken parm, very mid. They have to go to back to the drawing board when it comes to the food. The focaccia is good.

The ravioli was delicious. The caprese salad was beautiful. The heirloom tomatoes, basil...it may have been my favorite dish after the skate that arrived in a lemon caper sauce. Oooh. Side order of potatoes were crispy and oh so yummy when drug through that lemon caper and the what was left of the ravioli sauce. Both deserts were had, strawberry gelato and the tiramisu which when eaten in the same bite, forget about it. Definitely going back.

It's my third experience with Marie's. I absolutely love the food. The first time was in the beautiful garden, a lovely surprise. The second time I was there was with my sister a couple of weeks ago, the night before major surgery. We had wonderful food as we celebrated, we met the owner, the charming server, his wife, their friends--it was like a little party. Today we ordered in. Ooh yum, what fun to not cook and to eat delicious food once again from Marie's. I am grateful for it being right around the corner.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an impromptu date night spot and Marie's was perfect. We were warmly greeted by the host although the stand was right at the entrance. We did wait about 20 minutes for bar seating but no big deal. Veronica was super knowledgeable and helpful about the drinks food and even the owners. S.B backyard seating is a plus for the coming summer months. Please go and enjoy this Italian restaurant with a New York flair.

In my opinion, overpriced and mediocre at best. It's unfortunate because Sally Roots was fantastic and formally in the same location. If you're craving a good pasta meal in the neighborhood, I would recommend Union Pizza Works. Don't waste your time and money going to Marie's.

Went to Marie's and had less than tasteful service. Server (I think his name was Nick?) needs to be retrained. Possibly trained for the first time in guest management and hospitality. Abrasive and aggressive might be an understatement, but maybe that's just how they act around people of color. Had the chopped cheese raviolo? It was fine. Trust me, it's nothing you need. Anywhere else is a better experience I'm nearly sure. If you're ever stopping by, save your stomach and patience for service elsewhere, and just get the Fugrappa bout it at the bar, and get on your merry way.

Amazing dinner and service!! Can't wait to come back! Drinks, yum. Porchetta, yum, duck pasta and chopped cheese, double yum. Five stars.

Pretty disappointing overall. The vibes are good, the music is cool, and the food is delicious, but when the staff acts like serving you is a burden, it's hard to enjoy what's good about Marie's. The food is quite good - it's inventive in some ways and in other ways just well executed pasta fare. Try the skillet focaccia and the chopped cheese raviolo. The vodka sauce is a pass. It's reasonably priced. The drinks are also quite good! The service here, as many others have written, is just bad. I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt because I am often a solo diner, but on one visit I waited 40 minutes for focaccia and on another I sat at the bar directly across from the bartender and did not get water or to order a drink for almost 10 min in an empty restaurant. Multiple times I've seen people order wine and not receive it until they're done with their mains. It doesn't feel good as a solo diner or otherwise to feel like you're bothering the staff by ordering. There is a lot of potential here, but the staff is just not attentive enough to diners for it to be a must visit spot. I hope they get this together soon as the food is very good and the neighborhood needs a spot like this, but as it stands it's a disappointing replacement for Sally Roots.

Such a vibe! I love the atmosphere of this place. The waitress was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. I do wish they had more pasta options(there were only two). The prices are a little high so it would be nice to have some type of happy hour for people who live in the neighborhood.

This place was top notch. The server . ROXY and bartender FRANK went above and beyond to make sure my experience was nothing short of amazing. To top it all off every recommendation they made was a phenomenal. This spot is to die for . 10/10 recommend. Run don't walk.

Food and drinks were OK. Service was excellent! Their music playlist is not brunch friendly unlike most popular brunch places. EDM music should be blaring, but you feel stoned because of the R&B tunes they're playing.

are here once and had tried pretty much everything the server recommended to us like 6 dishes total and honestly none were worth the hype. the raviolo was ok! i think it's just blown up on tiktok but def wouldn't return

I was very excited try this restaurant after some great reviews on social media, but unfortunately, overall, my husband and I were pretty disappointed. I'll start with the good, however - the interior of the place is very cute, the staff was extremely friendly, and you can't miss ordering the skillet focaccia. This was FIRE! We decided to go pasta-forward with our order and got the rigatoni with spicy vodka sauce, the chopped cheese raviolo, and the duck ropa vieja. We were VERY disappointed with the spicy vodka sauce pasta - it was watery, lacked flavor, and definitely wasn't spicy, so that was really a bust. The chopped cheese raviolo is inventive and it tasted pretty good, but didn't wow me. And the duck ropa vieja really has potential, but the edges of the tortellini were very underdone and they could have been a little more generous with the sauce. It's also worth noting that they brought all the food out at once, which we didn't love. We hoped to enjoy the food a bit slower, based on how we ordered. Not unhappy that we gave it a try, but we won't be returning.
