Marie's Seafood Market & Lobster House

Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.

Freshest seafood in Sea Isle! Incredible spot with an awesome outside (covered) dining room. Staff is always friendly!

My husband and I frequently dine out, so we tried Maria’s. We loved the atmosphere and had a very nice professional server named Bonnie. We were extremely disappointed in such terrible seafood. I just can’t fathom how anyone can own a seafood restaurant and not know how to serve good food. We ordered the vegetable red crab soup, it was lukewarm warm with very little flavor and very very salty. I ordered mussels in red, they literally steamed them open and poured tomatoe sauce over them, they were also cold. My husband ordered clams casino, they were served in aluminum made shells, not the actual clam shell, the filling was bread crumbs soaked in oil with a piece of bacon on top, if you were lucky you found a micro piece of clam. At this point I lost my appetite and waited for my husband’s spaghetti and clams to arrive. The disappointment continued with the watered down bowl of tasteless pasta was brought out. It appeared as thought they cooked this in pure clam juice, and it was tasteless. The best part of our dinner was our server Bonnie , I began to feel bad for her having to serve the food to people.

The bacon wrapped scallops and crab stuffed shrimp were our favorite. The lobster was also fresh and good. We didn't love the mussles and clams because they were overcooked.

We love this wonderful fish market. Always a great fresh selection and many other Italian food products , Italian bread too. The service is excellent, Thank you all .

Good quantity meals but pricey. Offered a children's menu. Our major issue occurred when the waitress failed to send one of our orders to the kitchen. The meal eventually came but was not fully cooked and was cold in the center. The order was crab stuffed flounder and the flounder was raw.

Walking into Marie's Seafood Market and Lobster House a visitor is greeted warmly and with a positive energy that makes you glad you came. Then there's the two lobster special: two lobsters, a salad and two sides for $40! The positive energy offered by the Maitre d' followed us into the dinning room where we were treated to smooth, timely and friendly service in a room bustling with the energy of happy diners. The lobsters and sides were delicious. The Monday Night Special lived up to its name and then some.

I ordered on the phone from home to pick up an order . I ordered a fried flounder platter and 12 blue claw crabs with old bay seasoning, which I was told were cooked that morning. They told me 30 mins for pick up .When I got there, people approximately 3 to 4 were waiting. I asked for my order and was told they were waiting for it to be cooked still . Not may orders went out for about 10 to 15 mins, then people were coming in to pick up orders and left. As I still waited. By the time my order finally was ready 30 mins later after I got their, I looked in the bag of crabs, and they forgot the old bay seasoning, not a big deal. they added it after I told them. Now remember, this is after waiting about another 30 mins from when I got to the place to pick up my order. Now it's been over an hour since my order was placed. I then drove back home about 7 mins from Marie's needless to say, I am really aggravated now because the food that I waited for that wasn't even cooked when I got their was cold that was the flounder platter if it was just cooked it still should have been at least warm but no it was cold. The 12 crabs all male were mixed sizes 4 of them were under legel size, so tiny but they were on the bottom of the bag so I didn't see them until after I was already eating them out of the bag .The one and only large crab was empty. No meat at all weight was so light. The other 6 of the crabs were the right size, but 1 or 2 the meat was mushie. Don't you think they should have gotten it right after paying $40 dollars for just 12 crabs and only 4 edible . Needless to say, I was so disappointed I will never go back again, not even to complain. To have them severe under size illegal to sell crab and they knew it because they put them in the bag individually that was the last thing I needed to never go back, I who bought from Marie's since 2010 when the father was alive and ran the business I never got a bad thing from them. But the customer service and product they are selling is not the quality that it once was . Sorry for their lost of the owner. But they have now lost a customer . I will now go to Mike's a block away for Marie's for my seafood needs .

Marie has a favorite of ours. We've tried Mike's and Carmen's and nothing beats Marie's! This year we did the clam bake takeout and we missed Tuesday night, crab legs because of a nice swim in the bay until 8 PM but we are planning on doing that again soon because it was amazing last year!

I haven't ordered take out from here in a few years. Since it's still kind of off season, it wasn't crowded. I ordered the the Captain's Special - broiled scallops, shrimp, flounder and a crab cake. I chose the baked potato and coleslaw for my sides. The scallops and shrimp were good and cooked perfectly. Everything was in an aluminum take out container so the crab cake was sitting in the watery juice. I was able to save most of it from getting too mushy. The flounder was tasteless. Frozen maybe..... The baked potato was big and really good. The coleslaw was on the drier side which I liked. It was a little expensive for the quality and amount but it's the shore so you expect it.

Amazing seafood and great ambience, eating right on the water. Reasonable prices and very friendly/accommodating staff

Marie's Seafood is a great place to eat in Sea Isle City. To start off, it is a BYOB. From the outside, it looks like just a takeout place, but there's actually a restaurant that you can eat at on the dock! It is great to look out onto the bay. I ordered the fried shrimp, and I got eight very large fried shrimp. I also got corn on the cob and french fries, and the corn on the cob was a whole corn on the cob whereas other places only give you half a cob. I also got a Caesar salad and bread with the meal! We came around 6:30 pm and there wasn't that much of a wait which was fantastic. They have plenty of seafood options to eat. I would definitely come back here next time I visit Sea Isle!

I love this restaurant!! I eat here at least once every summer when I visit. I had the eggplant rollitini and spaghetti!! My family had chicken parmigiana. Huge portions, great bread too!! Excellent, love the sauce. I then had takeout a few days later. The lobster roll which is cold lobster salad on a roll. The lobster was a little tough, but great flavor. I will be back next year!

We decided to do take out and heard that Marie's was the best place for take out seafood. We ordered during the day for a 630 pickup time. During the summer it is best to order early. It was ready when we got there. Everyone had their own little box with their dinner and sides all inside. There were 4 of us and all of our dinners were hot and exactly as we ordered. The food was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend Marie's for take-out.

OMG! I have been coming to Sea Isle for years and for some reason never tried take out from Maries. I saw my friend eating a lobster roll on the beach and it looked so good I needed to know where she got it. I hate hate hate MAYO so I was shocked to see the lobster looked so fresh and pure, not slathered in Mayo and looking like some type of chicken or tuna salad. I ran immediately to Maries to order what she had and have now gotten it multiple times since. The lobster roll is so scrumptious. Tasty, fresh, big chunks of delicious lobster - unspoiled by Mayo and other add-ins. It's served on a buttery hot dog style bun. YUM! I highly recommend. Totally delectable!

My family and I have been coming to SIC for years, and we spent tonight (after eating) in complete confusion as to how we never ordered from here before?! Marie's was SO DELICIOUS. The entire takeout process was flawless. It's impeccably clean inside and organized when picking up. Reasonable prices. We got the clam chowder, white clam spaghetti (omg - run, don't walk for this), steamed shrimp (so fresh!), clam strips, chicken fingers, and a cheesecake. We have only one night left and we'll order here again tomorrow night, it was that good. Thanks for a great meal!

Great take out in Sea Isle City! Always good - easy to order online and pick up. Fresh fish available as well as fried platters.

Been coming to Sea Isle for decades and came to Marie's for the first time tonight. Much to my surprise its NOT just like "the place next door". This is restaurant quality good eating delicious food (not that next door isn't ) It's more a fine dining in a casual setting on the water. The menu is very reminiscent of the old Busch's Seafood. She crab soup And Crab Imperial to name a couple. Huge filling portions. Everything was delicious soup to coffee and everything in-between! Extremely impressed! Extremely full and happy ! Our server was also wonderful!

Got take out here this last Saturday evening during the time of COVID. Really hit the spot! They have a menu online which isn't massive but hits all the things that you would want from a seafood restaurant. We had a massive order since we were ordering for family but it still only took 25min to get ready! Pickup was easy, although parking is a bit tight if you're not walking to get it. In the store they also have a ton of fresh seafood (uncooked), pasta, vegetables and such if you need anything for grilling. Prices are very reasonable too. Now the food, overall it was fantastic! I had the soft shell crab platter with corn and fries as sides and a pint of lobster bisque. The Lobster bisque, oh man, there were actual huge pieces of lobster inside! Much better than I was expecting. Maybe a bit too creamy but still delicious. Fries were cooked nice and crispy and the corn was lightly buttered and sweet. Soft shell crab came with two whole crabs that were so crispy and absolutely fantastic. I also tried my friends fried flounder which was just perfectly cooked, as well as her onion rings. These guys really know how to do fried food. Also came with a random side of apple sauce which was a nice treat. Also got a gander at someones broiled crab cake sandwich and it looked perfect (You can get the lunch menu items for dinner as well it seems). Everything was very nicely and neatly packed. People in the restaurant were nice and helpful. Price seemed very reasonable especially given the quality of the food. Definitely recommending checking them out if you've got a hankering for some seafood!

Did pickup. About a 15 min ride from south end of ocean city. Overall was pleased. I got the broiled seafood combination and my wife got the lobster roll. She said hers was good but still likes Quincys better for a lobster roll. For$18 it was a solid choice. My seafood combo was $27.99 and included apple sauce and two sides which I got corn on the cob and onion rings. The seafood was cooked perfectly and everything was moist. The scallops were good size but had sand in there that was annoying. The fish and crab cake were good. My biggest issue was when considering the cost, it seemed like a small portion for the price. I don't usually talk about price unless something makes you think about it. The size of the combo seemed small. The onion rings were forgettable. The corn on the cob was good. Next time I will order just the a la cart meal. The sides and apple sauce didn't warrant the extra $9. I'm torn between a 3.5 and 3.75. I will give it a 4 because it compares favorably to other seafood take out in ocean city

Food is amazing! Especially the fried scallops and steamed lobster. Both a cup to perfection.

I wish we had slowed down enough to take food pics before we DEVOURED our meals! Everything we ordered for takeout was awesome! Soft shell crab sandwiches, fried flounder sandwich, battered onion rings, fried platter, she crab soup....yummmmmy! Called ahead from the boat ramp and it was ready in 30 minutes.everything was perfectly packaged for sitting outside and watching the sunset!

Best seafood market that has not only the freshest seafood for you but everything else for your dinner, plus the friendliest people to take care of you!

We picked up lobster rolls for lunch before leaving the beach. Absolutely delicious!! No filling all meat. If you get a chance, stop by!! I will be back again next year!!

Gave Marie's a shot this year because I normally go to Mike's. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was great and portions were good. Got 4 platters of different seafood, we got flounder, shrimp, scallops, etc. all great. We got fries, corn, baked potatoes, loved it. Took our order and and picked it up on time. Fish was fresh and breading/coating was just right. Definitely recommend and will be ordering again.

Had the lobster roll for lunch which was very good. Came back for dinner the next and got the crab cakes and they were excellent.

Had a great meal here. Got the Captains Special and everything was delicious. From the bread with the oil/sundried tomato, to the salad, to the entree with the vegatable medley everything was great. Nice open atmosphere, seated right next to the bay. We will be back!

Ordered from Marie's on a week day while staying at the shore for a week; the food was out of this world ! Best scallops I've ever had. The food was also ready to be picked up by the time that was promised

I love Marie's restaurant to eat in. The other night was our first night back in town and we bought some platters to go. Food was almost inedible. My poor daughter got clam strips and they were like eating a bucket of sand. The steamers were also full of sand; I've honestly never had such sandy clams before! The steamers were also bone dry. Fries and onion rings were wet and soggy. I would think this was an off night but for every single item to be bad... I guess I will stick to Mike's for take out items and only go to Marie's for sit down.

Love Marie's Seafood! Take out is very good, we had clams casino (best we ever had), oysters, crab cakes, flounder, fries, onion rings and cole slaw. Well packaged, with condiments, plates, napkins and plasticware. So glad there is an alternative to Mike's Seafood, which has become very mediocre, and service horrible. Actually, I think Marie's is better than Mike's ever was. Mentioning this because they are located next to each other - do your palate a favor and choose Marie's.

I got crabs from Marie's yesterday, they were awful!!! So glad I did spend more money here. Walk a few steps past Marie's to Mike's and get real seafood.

Excellent service - very nice people. Delicious food we had yellowfin tuna, crab cakes, salmon, scallops, and more and everything was very good. Will be back!

Terrific lumb crab meat minis cooked perfectly - not overcooked - always delicious. Owner goes out of his way to please customers.

Just ordered take out. A great experience in the midst of this chaos. Crazy busy but still had order on time. It was hot and everything was absolutely delicious. And what impressed me most was even though insanely busy were polite and had a sense of humor. This will be my goto in sea isle for sea food for many years to come. Stuffed shrimp and stuffed flounder and son had chicken parm. Great size portion as well

First let me say the reason I gave this establishment a 2 star and not a 0 is our waitress was very nice and professional but also very compromising when asked to add things onto the bill after we ordered asking to have food come out for our grand children ASAP, now I have at the end photos of bill and one plate we ordered ....the old bay crab chowder let me say the name alone says it all awful and cold ,we ordered 3 white clam sauce linguini the only thing that came out hot but the white clam sauce was just awful it over powered the whole plater, Also I got a appetizer white steamed mussels cold and tasted old now hear's the kicker on the bill I received an extra 10.00 charge for using a credit card this establishment bills you the charge the card company charges the establishment to use the card really! After paying 235.00 dollars you charge another 10.00 , let me just say dam isn't this the shore a place where you would undoubtedly think the seafood would be the freshest wouldn't also say spending 250 you would get a decent meal especially when your on Vacation and in all place's fishermen's ally the most famous seafood area now if you want to piss away 200-300 for dinner I would suggest to go to Marie's seafood if you want a good seafood dinner go to Crap trap in Ocean City

Ordered the broiled seafood combo, steamed clams & old bay fries with cheese sauce. They packed the takeout food well so that it stayed hot. We enjoyed everything. Service was quick too. I highly recommend it then you don't have to wait for a table at a restaurant

We had an amazing meal here! Got the broiled salmon, crab cakes and steamed shrimp platters. And the red crab soup was delicious! Food was cooked to perfection. Ordered on a Saturday night and food was ready in 30 mins. Nice staff, too!

Best take out in Sea Isle City. Prices fair. Food excellent. Prompt service by attentive staff. Very clean too.

stopped by after seeing the reviews, it was not very good everything tasted the same, scallops were horrible, the soft shells were already starting to form their shells and tasted like everything else, must not change the oil everyday. I don't ,t recommend this to anyone unless you like sub par food.

The food is magnificent! Fresh, attention to detail and quality. Good atmosphere and great service. A must for anyone eating seafood in Sea Isle!

Good food and great friendly service, I was there for the weekend and me and my fiancé liked the food, very fresh, we tried the Tuna with the glaze and sesame seed,the baked flounder and was very delicious, our waitress Anna was super friendly and very attentive to details, we like everything that day. Next day we come back, and again the experience was the same with food and service, this time the busboy helped us with couple request that my fiancé asked, very hard worker, I work in the restaurant industry for 17 years and this guy rocks the show, this time our waitress was Rebecca she also was very good and friendly, she recommend us the chocolate mousse cake at the end and it was very good, in general I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and I will come back. Don't forget BYOB

The food was excellent the flounder was amazing! We had a feast. Even the fries held out well for the 20 minutes drive home.

Bought their crab cakes for a dinner party recently and broiled them with a pat of butter on top. DELISHOUS. All crab meat, no fillers

Fantastic food. Wonderful service. Our server Anna was very helpful. I had s Caesar salad in a Parmesan cheese bowl. Delicious. They were very accommodating to my 5 year old grand daughter. My son in law had chicken parm. It's a great alternative if not everyone with you is a fish eater. The bread and oil at the beginning was really good. I couldn't find any faults. I will be back next year!

Great fresh seafood and enough other items that I pick up dinner at Marie's frequently. Service is great. No reason to ever go to Mike's they are downright rude there.

Marie's really does a nice job. We've been getting takeout from there for years. The food is well packaged so that it is still warm by the time we get it home. I feel like the portion size and quality of food is good for what you pay. Although we might eat a little earlier than others they have always had our order ready within 20-25 minutes of ordering. We will be back!

Fabulous fresh seafood. We get fresh fish there several times while in town. The cooked shrimp are so fresh. The swordfish is amazing. Scallops to die for.

This is one of the Gems in Sea isle. Fresh sea food, fair pricing. The Clam Bake is great. Two full lobsters, shrimp, clams, two ears of corn, two baked potatoes. Be advised, lot of food so make sure you are hungry and be sure to get a loaf of bread to dip in the juice.

My family's usual takeout seafood place. It's dependable and good enough for fried flounder etc.
