The Best 24-Hour Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"The 24-hour dining options outside the perimeter are extremely limited, but Marietta Diner on Cobb Parkway near the Big Chicken has been the place for 24/7 OTP eating since 1995. The Greek diner includes an impressively large menu to satisfy any craving, and that includes around-the-clock breakfast dishes. Try the grilled cheese, gyros, patty melt, or any of the open-faced sandwiches. There’s also fried chicken and fried catfish." - Henna Bakshi

7 Classic Atlanta Diners, Ranked - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Another 24/7 stalwart, this Marietta spot has a drive-thru and a menu more varied than the Cheesecake Factory. Families flood the dated dining room because there’s something to appease everyone. The grandparents can get a plate of biscuits and gravy. Picky kids can feast on decent chicken tenders. And couples can split the Tour of Italy plate with giant portions of pretty solid fettuccine alfredo, cheesy lasagna, manicotti, and chicken parmigiana . Best of all, the food is good enough to make coming here a priority, even if you’re ITP." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder

Marietta Diner - Review - Marietta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"A super bland stretch of Cobb Parkway in Marietta gets some major pizazz thanks to this giant art deco-style diner (think neon lights and chrome paneling, signaling 24/7 dining). Consider that your sign to pop in. But mainly because it’s the only place in the area where you can pack your table with a true melting pot of dishes—Greek platters and gyros, red sauce classics like lasagna, old-school Southern favorites like beef tips with gravy, and all-day breakfast staples like biscuits and gravy. photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman Pause Unmute Other than the must-order spinach pie, most of the dishes aren’t making any kind of honor roll. But the portions are enormous, most things come under $20, and they have just about everything, so the diner works well in a pinch. During the day, the generic dining room is normally flooded with families. So if you don’t want to wait for a table (there’s always a crowd at the host stand on weekends), just use the drive-thru, which has an abbreviated menu but includes all the hits. Food Rundown Spinach Pie Flaky, buttery, and full of steamed spinach, this is the only must-order on the menu. photo credit: Sarah Newman Tour of Italy When you want pasta, but can’t decide what sounds best, this plate is the answer. You get huge portions of decent lasagna, chicken parmigiana, fettuccine alfredo, and manicotti for just $30. photo credit: Sarah Newman Reuben Sandwich This very good reuben comes with your choice of corned beef or pastrami. We like pastrami because it’s a little juicier. photo credit: Juli Horsford Chicken Tenders Each order has four giant tenders. It’s a reliable order, especially for picky eaters. Fried Pickles These are really salty. Dunk them in ranch to calm the saltiness, and you’re set. Marietta Breakfast Special Two eggs any way you like them, bacon or sausage, pancakes or french toast, home fries, and toast makes this a breakfast sampler platter. It’s a run-of-the-mill breakfast and a good choice if you want to taste a little bit of everything." - Juli Horsford
