We had such an amazing time at Mariscos Costa Alegre! The food was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had – fresh, flavorful, and made with so much love. Every bite was delicious, and you can tell they know what they’re doing when it comes to seafood. What really made the meal special was our server, Romy. She was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive, and generally a delight. She was also so sweet with our kids and gave them lollipops at the end of the meal. If you’re looking for incredible seafood and a relaxed vibe, this is the place to be. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This place has amazing food! Not only that but the vibes are great. The staff were very kind and attentive. I tried some ceviche, asada plate, and agua chile. All were very good! I really enjoyed their macaroni salad as well. The meat was perfectly cooked. They also have bottles coke which is far superior to any other form of coke. I will definitely be back! Asada plate

Wow delicious I can’t wait to go back again and celebrate my birthday there looks like is super fun when they sing the birthday song. I recommend this place every was amazing and they did take too long

Wow...Where to begin... the food, the atmosphere, the drinks... all superior quality. The customer service makes you feel like your with family and great friends. Need to come try it. You will not be disappointed. Weather you're here to eat or just have some drinks... come enjoy the music

Tented outdoor seating with paper picado strung about, mariachi band, vendors selling trinkets - a very festive place! Indeed, there were many people celebrating their birthdays there as about every 20 minutes, it seemed that a crew of workers came out bursting into song. It was very busy but the servers were on top of things. We got small samples of the seafood soup and some crispy rounds after we ordered. Of all the things we ordered, I was the most pleasantly surprised by the caldo de res. I recently had the Filipino version of it and wanted to compare. It was light, flavorful, and easily my favorite soup here. Chicharrones and Guac is a good starter. The chicarrones are pretty thin cut and freshly fried. It is as unoily as can be, perfect for the zesty, acidic dip. They have TVs with the game, all the seafood offerings you could want, sushi, molcajete, fried fish, and ginormous goblets of alcohol with more seafood. Very Mexico by the sea. The one thing I wasn't too impressed by was the regular tortilla tacos.

Came for the super michelada and also tried their caldo de camaron. It was way better than we expected!! They even had this salsa macha that was out of this world!! We also got a Pepino margarita and it was very good nd very refreshing. Everytime we've come here we have tried something different and they have never disappointed in anything they serve up here. Consistently delicious food and beer. We will always come back to this specific location.

Down in San Jose on business trip and found this place on Yelp. Great food, but even better service. Greeted at the door by Very polite gentlemen. Waiter was friendly and on point. (Great recommendation on that Mango eada). Prices are very reasonable, food was delicious.. if you haven't been here come try it out.
