Love this place for ceviche and shrimp tacos Dorados. Add their famous black salsa and spicy red to bring out the flavor from the ceviche! They open daily from 10-6 despite what Google map lists. IG: kay_okay_eat

Freshest seafood. The wait time is ridiculously long but soooo worth it. Cevicheritos is basically ceviche with Doritos and its azmazing! Pasteles are layers of shrimp, fish, and octopus; topped off with avocado. (Its basically ceviche broken down in layers.) The most disappointing item was the shrimp tacos. In comparison to the other items it was a let down. The tacos dorados got soggy fast and didnt hold shape. But the flavor was still great. 2 Pastelos, a Cevicheritos, and an order of shrimp tacos(5 in an order) total was 76.10! So worth it! Try it I cant stress it enough!!!

Best Mariscos!!! I've had EVERYTHING on the menu and not once dissatisfied. The michi prep was a major plus for me, be sure to take your beer. Not over priced like most food trucks.

This is a food truck parked on Whittier Blvd on the weekends as far as I know. It sells amazingly fresh seafood. I know!!!! To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I got the shrimp tostada and it was delicious!! They have a huge menu and I'll definitely be back to try other stuff.

I've been going there for years and they always had an A Went today and they had a B. I was wondering why but once I got home with my food I understood why. They did not put salt or lemons. In addition to that the shrimp some of it was raw and by that I mean it was gray ,which was not cooked. I always get the botana bigotone. Price is when very high which is cool cuz everything is going up but with the ceviche they got skinnier cups to give you less at least if it's going to go up give more or give the same.

I was expecting this place to be better considering the following they have, i sure was disappointed. The only good thing they have is their tacos dorados but they come with a skimpy amount of avocado. They gave me half of a small avocado for 10 tacos dorados which is about a teaspoon worth for each, what a joke. And the jaiba ceviche had a lack of flavor, better off going to Northgate. The cups were pretty small for the price. First and last time I hit this bootleg Cuatro Vientos.

I tried their famous Pastelaso which was ok. I felt like with everything smashed together like that the entire thing tasted the same. Almost like I wasnt getting any individual flavors from the different items. The only difference was the Sauteéd shrimp they put on top. I still gave them 4 stars because I also tried their Ceviche which was good and Im willing to give them another try.

Amazing mariscos! Highly recommend this place. Ordered a few charolas of their specialty ceviches and didn't disappoint.

Bad customer service! Ordered a cevichidoris they gave it to me to go with no sauce, skimped out. The girl had attitude when I asked if she can do it do for here. First and last time.

Eh.. nothing to brag about. I got the Cajun Shrimp Fries. They were good, but would I come back and spend that much for mediocre, probably not. Only reason I stopped by or heard of it, was because a co worker kept bragging about it.

Definitely went downhill... used to be amazing. Tacos dorados hit the spot still when craving them. But AVOID the empanadas. They are basically flavorless cheese soup and they made me feel gross after eating one. I ate it because I didn't want my money down the drain and immediately regretted it.

The person taking the food orders is unprofessional. Vendors need to be more welcoming especially during these hard times. Also, why the dark glass it is so weird looking at someones leg instead of a face while placing an order.

The agua Chile's are insanely spicy. Not complaining, but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have more than one tostada. So good, but way too spicy to tolerate.

Came here for Taco Tuesday! They had $1 shrimp tacos dorados! Similar to Mariscos 4 Vientos. Nowadays it's hard to come across any spot selling tacos for $1! We ordered 15 tacos and it came with the salsa. Taking the first bite I felt it was lacking a little bit of flavor. The salsa also is lacking a bit of flavor and no spice. :( Overall, it's def not bad. It came out fresh and hot! The line does get long. We waited about 15mins for our food and there were plenty of people in front of us. I would still come back and also try out their ceviche!!!

The truck always leaves early on Tuesday and Thursday . When I came in today a December 28th 3:30 they were already sold out! They're either leave early or sell out so I can never eat here for the taco special Super annoying and confusing 1 star On Google they are open every day until 7 PM please update the time if you're not going to be open! Update your winter hours as well. Instead of giving lip to your customers.

Worst of the worst they don't ever open on time today they opened around 10:30, note only one opener and takes about 1hour to get food and upfront they tell you 40- 1 hr eta for food when it's was just three people upon opening

I love in East L.A and it was my second time having Mariscos El Bigoton. They're a lunch truck parked right on Whittier Blvd. usually about 8 lunch trucks on this street if you're from the area you know. The location is very easy to spot. Parking is a little chaotic because you do have to park inside the commerce center. They're usually there during the day and leave early. As far as the locations they have this is the only one I know. The food is pretty good, my husband and I decided to stop by and grabbed some Tacos dorados de Camarón and a pastelazo. The mariscos were very good and clean. However, I do think customer service could be more welcoming. Unfortunately, I saw a customer place an order to go and they didn't give him tostadas with his order and charged him instead. Which I thought was very ironic since he got Mariscos. I would think they'll give them to him. The cashier we got that day sounded very annoyed and non-approachable. Definitely should work on that. Aside from that inconvenience if your in the Montebello or Commerce area stop by and give them a try. The food is really good. You definitely won't regret getting it!!

Trash of a place I placed an 9 item order and only received two! Un ecceptabke, first and last time I ever order from this place and only received two top of that my order had to arrived by 5:15 latest arrival and the two items were delivered at 6:44pm

For reference it was a very hot day. So I commend the employees for their hard work. The wait was very long, the seafood tower was not a tower at all. I think they to take a look at how they present, prepare and serve. Once we received our order it had no limes, small tostadas, no salsa just tapatio packets. Take a look at Jato and Linda's before spending the 30 bucks it's not worth. Sorry.

Usually my go to spot for aquachiles but today I don't know what happened. A small plate is usually severed whole with shrimp and cucumbers undiced but today I guess I was served an onion aquachiles. All my shrimp and veggies were diced so finely I was unable to enjoy my food since usually I'm able to pick out the onion easily. They also didn't give me my sauce to my shrimp tacos and they were tasting a bit off . Not satisfied at all .

The food has no flavor. It's super super spicy. You can't even eat it and they charge you extra for very damn sauce. That's crazy.

I dont understand the hype, i ordered a $45 tray of agauchile and got 2 tostadas worth. The tray was a miniature clear container definetly not worth almost 50 dollars and to top it off it was bland and salty at the same time very dissapointing, ill take my business back to 4 vientos and don monchis.

This is some good stuff coming out of this lunch truck , I had the ceviche de camaron order paired up with tostadas, very good flavor, very fresh, a definite winner in my opinion. The order took awhile because there are a whole boatload of people here trying to order this stuff, this place is very popular I must say. They take cash and I think they take cards now so best be prepared to pay cash if anything. I'll definitely be back , this is some good stuff here!

This place is NAAAAAAASTY!! Seriously next time you eat here look at the shrimp. It's not cleaned/ deveined. To top it off entire staff is rude and disrespectful. If you want good clean seafood, do yourself a favor and drive to 4 vientos or any other pace in East LA where they take their time to serve you clean deveined shrimp.

I was actually here to try a different food truck, but my wife saw that this food truck was selling ceviche, so we decided to also give this food truck a try. They were selling ceviche for an extremely good price. My wife ended up ordering the ceviche de camaron. There is an option to either serve it on a tostada, or serve a much larger portion in a large cup. We decided to order the tostada portion. The small portion was incredibly generous, and with the tostada there was also avocado as well as spicy sauce. I'm not a big fan of shrimp, but I loved the ceviche, which shows just how much I loved it. The fish was very finely chopped, and the acidic flavor really enhanced the quality of the fish. The avocados went well with it also. I've only had ceviche at one other place, and I must say, the one at this food truck was amazing. I will definitely come back.

I'm reviewing their Seafood truck in East LA . The food is good. The crunchy shrimp tacos are delicious! I also love the Super Mixta Seafood Tostada (mixed seafood , all cooked) Service is fast . Make sure to ask for condiments when ordering to go. Very Limited seating on site.

I strongly recommend the pastelaso. I ordered a catering platter for my family they absolutely loved it. It was plenty for 16 + people.

Delicious, affordable fast service busy seafood truck. Found this truck on Instagram their posts are very appealing to my taste buds. I put it on my favorite lists of places to try when in SoCal and boy it didn't disappoint. Food is a 4 our if 5 rating. I'm very picky and have a high standards for my seafood and I've loved mostly everything I've tried here. If you are a seafood lover this place is a must visit. Service is pretty fast, it's a very busy food truck, they have bar stools and a small sitting area if you wish to eat there. They have both hot and cold plates. Price is very affordable for being seafood and quality is great. We try to make it there every time we are in town.

When in L.A, food trucks are a must. I came here specifically for the shrimp fries. My mouth was all set for the seafood goodness. Fries were terribly undercooked. This is horrible when eating them alone but the worst when adding toppings, especially cheese sauce. However, the shrimp were quite plentiful and seasoned to perfection. Every bite has a shrimp. I got to the point where I could not handle the soggy fries and just enjoyed some cheesy shrimp. The service isn't horrible but definitely not overly friendly. I didn't understand the wait being that my fries were undercooked. Too many other options to go back. Once and done for me.

Best shrimp tacos dorados I've ever had. The shrimp empanadas were not far behind the tacos. I would most definitely return and I do recommend to everyone. Service is awesome and their recommendations didn't miss.

Second time here, first time writing a review. Flavor is good, potions are small. Took off one star just for the potions and the minor order error We ordered to go: We ordered the Doritos shrimp but instead received the "cake tower". Didn't realize it until we got home with the food. It was delicious though it was devoured. Shrimp tacos dorados were great in Taste and texture. They have me small Portion of avocado and salsa (maybe enough for two tacos) for the 4 I ordered. Ceviche was small portioned , not sure how they measure it since it was to go.

East la top marisco spot! Simply wonderful flavors. I tried the pastelaso and I had food for two days after! Big portions and it's a little food truck still. But it's big flavors and lots to try. Next time I'm in LA I'll be here. It's busy be ready to wait for great food. In the meantime find other cool little food trucks right next to them with lots of treats desserts and other Mexican style food.

Sinaloan seafood is having a big moment in the LA/OC region. Sinaloan seafood dishes are becoming popular and heavily photographed amongst the social media set. Mariscos El Bigoton specialize in Sinaloan seafood dishes. Ceviches, tostadas, coctels, pastelaso (seafood tower), and some fusion dishes. There are shrimp fries, shrimp and fish tacos among other dishes. I came in one day to try some items on the menu. I had one fish taco, one shrimp taco, one shrimp dorado, and the pastelaso el guero. The fish and shrimp taco were okay. The shrimp dorado, the fried shrimp taco, was amazing and delicious. The filling was great and it was super crispy. It came with a delightful salsa to help balance out the fried shell. The pastelaso was huge! But amazingly delicious. Layers of fish ceviche, shrimp ceviche, aguachiles, octopus, and avocado. It sits atop a super flavorful and spicy salsa negra and is garnished with cooked head-on spiced shrimp and slices of giant, fresh scallops. Each layer was distinct and so very good. The seafood was super fresh and flavorful. The scallops were super sweet, and the octopus was tender. My order was packed to-go so the tostadas were packed separately and they included saltine crackers, too. The salsa for the dorado taco was also packed separately. The guys manning the truck mentioned that I should take some hot sauce to go with me...they have at least 6 different hot sauces to try. The orange Sinaloa bottle was the spiciest...very good. This is a great truck. The food they serve is so good. I wish they made stops closer to me more often.

I had their fried shrimp tacos they were delicious. Mariscos El Bigoton never disappoints. Don't forget to take advantage of their Tuesday special 5 shrimp tacos for like $5. Can't go wrong with that.

Literally the best fish tacos I've ever had. I found Mariscos on Instagram and their photos looked so appealing that I had to try it out myself. Drove to the Arleta location and it was parked exactly where it had said on the map. We parked on the street and there were a few people by the window already so we didn't mind waiting and exploring the menu a bit. A very nice and helpful woman behind the window in the food truck helped us pick some items: fish tacos, shrimp and fish tostada ceviche, shrimp fries and el pastelos. While we waited the handed us shrimp consommé in cups. Wow it was delicious! The shrimp broth was fantastic. Not long after all of our orders came out. My god!! I started this review by saying "Literally the best fish tacos I've ever had" and I so mean it! The fish batter was so light and the fish was cooked perfectly! I couldn't get enough. The soft tortilla was so tasty as well. Next, the ceviches were both delicious. I preferred the shrimp but the fish was amazing as well. Next, the shrimp fries. Now these should come with a warning sign because they're so delicious they're addicting. That sauce and shrimps mixed with the think fries were so delicious! The person who created this combo should win an award. Last but not least El pastelos: it was a tower of heavenly bites. Every bite was unique on its own since it was a mixture of shrimp and octopus and scallops and salsa. Oh my god. Fantastic! I loved it. I can't wait to go back and try more things like the michelada. Amazing service. Amazing food.
