The best mariscos food truck I have found in San Diego! The food was very fresh and delicious. The food is made after you order it so you don't have to worry about eating something that's been sitting around all day. There is plenty of parking and some tables to eat. Highly recommend it!

Do not sleep on this place! Of all the taco places I tried, this was my favorite. Tacos are flavorful and seafood is fresh. They make the best fish tacos. The owners are also very friendly. They do need to update their menu as prices are not accurate. There are a few round tables and chairs next to the truck. No washroom on site. Plenty of parking spots.

We had the shrimp cocktail, fish taco, and shrimp & fish ceviche. Did not disappoint. Will be back again.

This is a Gem! We are from Riverside! We’re out in Spring Valley for a church conference, I was tired of tacos, so we searched seafood and this spot popped up. It’s a food truck, but the food which is prepped and made to the order is very delicious and packs a lot of flavor. We ordered The Aguachiles, Ceviche Mixta, tacos de pescado, tacos de camarón, Agua chiles de mango, and cóctel de camarones. These alone were more than enough to feed 8 ppl. My kids ordered an asada quesadilla, let me tell you, this asada unlike any other we’ve had in Chula Vista, is very well seasoned and flavorful. Definitely will visit again!

Amazing! It was the best meal we had while in SD. Don’t get spooked by the location—this is totally worth it.

I went the day before to tried out their food and they were sold out, so came back next day and they were AMAZING and soooo fresh, the octopus and garlic shrimp were my favorite, but the fish one is a MUST try as well. The mix coctel is also really good, very tasty and fresh. The best part the attention, thanks for a wonderful meal.

One of the best seafood tacos in San Diego no doubts! No wonders they have the highest ratings on Yelp! They specialize in seafood, especially seafood tacos, ceviche, tostadas and so much more. Every item is prepared fresh and daily. They offer everything from costa which is Marlin, shrimp and bacon, Spicy shrimp taco, to the garlic octopus taco. If you prefer meat the do have great carne asada! If you are in the area stop by and give it a try, you’ll love it.

I visited this truck on a recommendation from You Tube, it has the highest Yelp review for a truck in SD. Spicy shrimp taco was great. Fried shrimp taco was just ok, fried shrimp was under seasoned. The sauce and topping carried the main ingredient. Overall, food was tasty but not the best. The chipotle sauce on the side just tastes like seasoned mayo. Not much flavor.

This place is the best! We're from Colorado and we found this place three years ago when we were visiting. We've dreamt about their fish and shrimp tacos ever since, so we make it a point to stop by whenever we're in San Diego. This last trip was no different. We even went twice this year because they recommended their garlic and butter fish and shrimp tacos and they're to die for (along with everything else we've had). While they do have outdoor seating available, we ate in our car because we had our pup with us. When we went back, they even said they remembered us. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and the food is tasteful. We just wish they would bring their truck to Denver so we could have them more often!

Absolute most delicious seafood tacos I've had In San Diego :) the Camarones enchilados tacos are incredible, crispy, spicy with impeccable sauce! You must try this! They're more expensive but they're two-three times the size of a typical street taco and well worth it. I also LOVE the aguachile verde! So delicious and flavorful and they're generous with their portions for this as well. I also love their fish tacos as well :) the crema is incredible and you can pour more if you would like as they have all the sauces hidden just under the ordering window! My husband loves the surf and turf burrito -- it's easily his favorite burrito in San Diego both for taste and for portion. We haven't tried the Hawaiian inspired food but if it's anything like the Mexican mariscos it will be delicious! The service here is also amazing! The woman who runs the shop is so kind and they serve up the food fresh and reasonably fast considering it's all made to order. We love the establishment. It's nice on a warm day to sit outside at the tables they have for the truck, mostly covered and some uncovered. There's no bathroom or portapotty but you can try walking over to the Arco gas station if needed. For ease they take Venmo as well. They're not open late in the evening and the truck is usually gone by 5 pm so this is definitely not a late night spot. My favorite spot for mariscos tacos in San Diego :) just be sure to try only for lunch or early dinner

I had heard of their famous fish tacos (tacos de pescado). For a midday treat, my boyfriend and I drove to the food truck that's parked in an empty lot, with several outdoor tables. The fish tacos were so flavorful! The fish is covered in a crispy, delicious, fried batter, with fresh coleslaw and onions!! What a great snack after the beach! Mariscos had an extensive menu of other offerings if you're hungry for more.

Best fish tacos! The staff is friendly despite always being busy. It's located in a pretty empty lot minus the customer's cars. The price is great for the quality and portion. The fish burrito is heavy! You can split it with another person and still be full. The quality of the fried fish is amazing! Very fresh and seasoned perfectly. I've ordered from Mariscos plenty of times and not once have I been disappointed!

The truck was easy to find plenty of tables to eat outside. We ordered fish tacos and aguachile. I wish the aguachile was a bit more flavorful seemed a bit plain. The fish tacos were alright I didn't think they were that great but they were really big and filling.

We came down for church conference and we were looking for something good it's always hard to find a good Mexican spot and tacos were played out so we found this spot and let me tell you this spot will not disappoint it's probably the freshest spot we've been to it was amazing the food speaks for itself I wish I would've got more pictures but we got shrimp cocktail as well with carne asada fries the meat was also soooo flavor full the flavor the freshness the quality the service everything was amazing it's a great portion for what you pay for

Always delicious. Try the surf and turf fries. The portion amount are always more then enough as well. They menu has a ton of great choices. Plus they have glass bottle cokes. Which always pairs perfectly with any taco.

I was working at Columbus and noticed this food truck in the parking lot every day, so I looked up on Yelp, and found out it is super popular, looks like the owner struck a deal with the people of Columbus and got their business running here, so I tried their marlin fish taco, it's $7 each, the taco came with cabbage on top, grilled marlin in the middle, a layer of grilled cheese at the bottom, plus some avocado and sliced onions. The fish was seasoned and cooked with chilies and garlic, came out a bit spicy but very unique. I do wish it came with radishes and cilantro just to cool off the spiciness, that's my only comment, but the staffs were super nice, they even introduced me to all kinds of sauces, but the tacos got cooked just right, and I like it fresh without adding anything else. $14 total, bring cash if you can, regular fish taco is cheaper about $2.50 per, besides they do sell Hawaiian food, and they also cater for parties and events. If you have a chance, check them out, the parking always packed because of them, and all types of people came here from mailman to construction workers to bank clerks and big groups. That just shows how amazing their food can be.

Best seafood tacos I've ever had in my life! We found some Reddit thread that ranked the best fish tacos in SD and decided to try this place on our day trip down from LA. As a non-Spanish speaker, I was a bit worried about not being able to read the whole menu or ordering correctly, but the lady that took our order was soooo helpful and sweet! I love her energy! To order tacos: - pick your protein (I did fish, shrimp, octopus) - pick garlic or spicy - pick grilled or fried They have other items on the menu, too! The tacos are amaaaaazing!! They were pretty pricey at around ~$40 for six tacos and a soda, but they were hefty and fresh... totally worth it in my opinion. Their sauce bar and condiments was poppin. Easy to find parking in the private lot they set up at. Hand washing station next to the truck made things clean. Loved loved loved this experience and can't wait to be back!

Wow , wow , wow! This food truck is amazing!! We hadn't found a marisco food truck we were obsessed with prior to covid! We randomly found it and decided to try it. It's off Home ave on the 805 right behind a gas station. The best thing is there is parking , that's usually sometimes an issue. The food truck had such a great variety of food that it took us a minute to decide . We decided on the Shrimp tacos , Mi Gusto Es (Marlin & Shrimp) , Mar y Tierra (Surf & Turf), a tostada aguachiles rojos. Everything was 10/10!!! The tacos size and portion was soo great! I had read a review they said it was expensive here , and I do not agree! You get your moneys worth because the tacos are filled and it's delicious ! They have some tables around 6 on the right with shade but they fill up fast and 2 more on the right The service is amazing as well!!! We already recommended all of our friends and family to try! Highly recommend!!!

I decided to give this food truck a shot and ordered a few options from their menu. The shrimp tacos a la plancha and taco de pescado were super flavorful and delicious. The portion toppings on the tacos were perfect and filling. The service was great and fast, but I noticed there may have been a mistake on my order and was overcharged for more. It wasn't until I noticed on my bank transactions and wasn't handed a receipt. I was extremely disappointed with the aguachile verde as it had no flavor and wasn't juicy enough. The shrimp didn't seem to be marinated well and the juices were blend. The portion size of the aguachile verde was a bit small. Overall not too bad.

These are probably some of the tastiest fish tacos I've ever had. Yes this is a food truck, and yes sometimes they're not there when their hours clearly say they're open, it's a bit frustrating. However the food is on point every single time. They also have a hand washing station because tacos get messy! Great feature and conveniences there is table seating near the food truck where you can enjoy your food. It is next to an apartment complex so the scenery isn't much to look at but really you're there for these fish tacos. PS. If you love a habanero lime sauce, they have a bottle here that goes amazingly well with the fish tacos.

Excellent!! I preferred the tostada over the cocktail, but both were good. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos were also very surprising. Def one of the best Mexican seafood places in town.

Stumbled on this place through Yelp and we have no regrets! Super accesible place right off the freeway. Mariscos were fresh and so good! Owners are incredibly hospitable and friendly. They helped us with the menu and we're willing to explain and answer all of our questions. The best marinades and freshest mariscos we've had by far!

The best fish tacos. We tried the ceviche for the first time, and it was amazing as well. My go to is always the fish taco and shrimp quesadilla.

Surf & Turf fries came with onions and bell peppers. It was slightly too salty for me; but otherwise not bad. The fries were crunchy and they definitely don't skimp out on the meat. The Birria Dorado con Queso taco was only alright; it would've been better if there was consommé, being that it was a lil dry. Next time I will try their Seafood Tower and/or Carne Asada fries.

Everything we tried was amazing But my favorite was the Fish Tacos & Mixed Ceviche. The owners are so friendly and they have plenty of benches to sit and enjoy your tacos!

The fact that the three other patrons spoke Spanish with the staff made me believe that I selected the right taco truck. The garlic octopus taco for $7 was filled with toppings, had great flavor, was piping hot, and was grilled on the outside. My main complaint was that there was not as many octopus pieces as I would have liked; it was mainly filled tomato and avocado and lettuce. It took about 10 minutes to get my order.

Wow, this is an amazing food truck located on Home Ave. It's located in a parking lot with tons of parking. You can't miss it, they have many large signs at the entrance. ~ FOOD ~ Grilled and Fried fish tacos: Absolutely incredible. They are loaded with cabbage, avocado, pico de gallo, and crema. Fish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Crispy outside and moist soft inside. Fish was large too! 2 fish tacos are a good amount for one person. Birria con queso: It was worth a try and pretty good! Very cheesy and tender beef. Outside was kind of chewy and hard to eat. Carne Asada Fries: Tender meat and nicely seasoned. They don't put guacamole on, but they have chunks of avocado instead. Fries were crispy. Very large portion. ~ SERVICE ~ Cooks here are SO friendly! For only having 2 cooks and many customers, they get through the line of people quickly. ~ NEED IMPROVEMENT ~ I do not believe their menu prices are correct. If I look at the menu, my food should have only costed $26 but I was charged $34. So prices need to be updated.

The tower was legendary! I'll always make sure I come by here again. The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly paired with the hot sauces.

Everything was amazing!!! I came back two days in a row . The shrimp tacos have ALOT of shrimp on them and they are very flavorful . The Birria is beyond amazing !!! The service was great food came out fast and hot. Mom and pop shop vibes everything was great. They also give you free shrimp soup while you wait and it taste amazingggg.

Always fresh , order to make . Very reasonable and great location. Fish tacos on Tuesdays specials . This location does get busy you have all type of people coming here from hard workers to police officer . I don't go to restaurants anymore as restaurants are crappy , old , and pricy . Best fish tacos in San Diego! Don't @ me! You can't beat the price! Taco Tuesday special for 3 fish tacos is $4.50! So fresh and delicious! Fresh light batter and variety of sauces to add on. Tacos weren't soggy which I appreciate. The owner gave me some consommé which paired so well together. Wonderful, kind service. I got there early before opening and they noticed I was waiting for a while so kept reassuring me they will be open soon and took my order. Cash only. There are a few tables nearby and place to wash your hands. I'm already missing these tacos. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go check them out! P.s they need to update their Yelp hours since I thought they open at 8am but it was actually until 9:30am.. I had to drive back just so I could try their tacos before my flight home. WORTH THE WAIT!

Tacos are stuffed and delicious. Surf and turf fries are great. You can't go wrong with any item here. Too bad they don't have a truck in each SoCal county.

My favorite thing to go for at food trucks is tostadas/ ceviche and Mariscos Mi Gusto did it's thing! They are generous with their seafood and a plus is they have a wide range of hot sauces. The lady who took our order showed pure kindness and ensured we had everything to enjoy our food. We got the pescado and pulpo. They came in takeout boxes which did leak a little bit throughout my commute but nothing spilled out. Thinking about their tostadas make me so hungry! I will be back to try more. They have multiple tables to sit at and there was a facility at the location but I wasn't sure what it was. Totally okay to eat there or in the car! I couldn't even wait until I got back home to try. Mariscos Mi Gusto is pretty high up there for me but I will have to keep trying more items to see if the whole menu is solid.

The food here is absolutely freaking delicious. The camaron ajillo (garlic shrimp) is hands down one of the best tacos I've ever eaten. It has lots of yummy garlic and cheese. The fish taco was on point. The fish was very fresh and the sauces they used on everything had wonderful seasoning. The tortillas were fresh as well. I honestly don't think you could go wrong here. The cost was a little higher than some of the taco trucks I've visited but that was directly understood due to the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients. Loved it and I'll be back soon!

My daughter and I flew to San Diego for a quick trip to see the ocean and eat tacos and this was our 1st stop and I expected it to be good but it was the best tacos I have ever had in my life. I'd recommend sticking to 3 not 4 cause it was a lot of food. A normal amount might even be 2 but I got the shrimp taco, the spicy shrimp, the fish taco and some version of a shrimp taco that came with bell peppers in it too and that was the best one of all 4 but all were delicious.

Ambience for a food truck isn't bad, you're in a parking lot but they've got some patio seating. Food and value for the food is really why you're going here. Fried fish taco is the best value but damn so many other good options. Even their birria was good but the fish tacos were the stars here.

I was craving fish tacos and the Yelp reviews do not disappoint! Parking was easy and there were many spots when we arrived in the morning. There was a small line and the food does take a bit of time but it's due to it being cooked on order. Everything about the fish taco was absolutely amazing. So fresh and crispy, the hot sauce was on point. We had no complaints!! We rarely give 5 stars as there is usually some type of room for improvement somewhere but they 100% deserve the 5 stars!! Price is on average but for the portion and quality it's a steal! Hands down my favorite spot to get fish tacos and burritos!

Y'all's reviews got us to give this place a try on a cold, rainy, windy day. We sat in the cold, windy mess of a day and DID NOT CARE why? Because I'm telling you, the food is THAT good! We dropped $46 and if it weren't for us living so far away, we'd go drop it again, every dime worth it! My mom got the surf n turf fries subbed fish for the steak. THAT one $14 dish would have easily fed all 5 of us. Easily! We didn't know, so Rest of us got got 2 shrimp tacos, a fish taco, quesadilla, and another taco I forgot what hubby got... anyways, WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!! That shrimp (I got ajo) was THE best shrimp I've ever had in my life! Legit review, I don't know the ppl in that truck from Adam. I sure told them they are amazing chefs though. We even urged them to get a truck in Oceanside, we need this quality food everywhere! If y'all read this, PLEASE come to Oceanside! Like go now and order anything with that shrimp. You're welcome! Omg!! This food truck, Sea food tower has one of the tastiest tacos good Mexican food I have had in San Diego! Food was outstanding, amazing services, HUGE portions of meat per taco, you can easily made 2 tacos out of one! I am definitely coming back really soon to try more things! One of the employees who helped me his name was Arturo jr, has the best service and they respect costumers. Everyone has to experience this food truck at least once in their life because it's amazing!

Chulada de comida. Asked her to serve me her most popular tacos surf and turf and a gobernador and a huge tostada. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. Taste was exceptional. Lots of seating and parking perfect spot.

Went back a week later after first trying this in incredible food truck to get more delicious fish tacos and another carne asada for that surf and turf effect. To reiterate how friendly and welcoming the atmosphere here is, Blanca and Arturo actually remembered us. Not only were we greeted warmly, Arturo surprised us with a cup of Birria consommé that they must serve with their birria tacos. This was another absolutely delicious item. The consommé was rich with tender meat had that authentic birria flavor. I must try the birria tacos on my next visit. The fish and carne asada tacos continue us to be at another level. This time I restrained myself enough to take images before eating. I'm back east now and I am already missing this place. If you are within striking g distance, go here, let these great people feed you. You will not be sorry.

First time here. Drove here from PB. Got there Surf & Turf fries and one Fish Taco. Both are equally delicious. Reasonable Price, Great Portion and very friendly service. Definitely worth the drive. Will come back to try other stuff on the menu.

We were driving home after visiting a nearby nursery and decided to stop at this food truck. SO GLAD WE DID! So many options to choose from; we got tacos de pescado, camarón, y gobernador and the Clamato estilo baja. Everything was such a hit. You know it's good when you do a little dance after each bite! They had four homemade salsas (chilled!) and tons of other hot sauces and accoutrement to choose from. The staff were so sweet and thoughtful. They also had a handwashing station which was so helpful as well as plenty of seating and clean tables with shade. Would highly recommend them to anyone passing by or looking for amazing fresh seafood!

I pulled up this morning and the service was great they were fast to make n deliver my food , la comida estuvo delisiosa fresh cold camaron and pulpo tostada and the ambiente was chill they had music playin plenty of parking and the food like i said was on point ! I recommend this spot !

Fresh, fast, from what I've tasted so far so good. Will be coming back and probably become a regular. Plenary of space to park as well. Service was good.

Ridiculous that to use your visa card, they're going to charge you $3. I can see a normal surcharge like all other businesses but $3? That's more than the price of their fish taco. Which I didn't even get to try or any of the other seafood because I refuse to be robbed of $3. Seems like common sense to charge a surcharge for spending a smaller amount but you aren't going to when most tacos are around $7.00. Good luck with your business model.

Note to self.... Don't get carne asada from a seafood truck. Got a California Burrito and an Asada Burrito and both were sub par. They were huge but the asada was tough and lots of gristle. $28 dollars later.... Nice staff and seating area was covered and looked comfy. If I ever go back, which isn't likely, I'll get some seafood. Too bad cause I live in the neighborhood.

I can see why this place gets so busy. All the food is fresh and comes out so quick. I read some reviews and wanted to come here to try the fish taco as I was looking for the best fish taco in town. These guys are up there. The fish is fried to perfection, the batter is not too thick and a fish is nice and fresh. The crema sauce that comes on it is really refreshing and goes really well with the hot sauce they give you. I also like the ceviche here. They have so much seafood in there ceviche and it's seasoned very well. Don't forget to get the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and the cocktail sauce that comes with it is a liquid form of cocktail sauce with some spices mixed inside as well as tomatoes. It's so satisfying This is a food truck so be prepared to sit outside. There is plenty of parking in the area so don't worry about that. The staff here is also helpful and really nice. The food comes out pretty quick so if you need a quick lunch or dinner don't miss out on this spot!

Food was suuper good, haven't had fresh mariscos like that in a long time. Portions are big but you'll want to eat it all up. if i lived in the area, i'd definitely come again
