"Located in the tree-filled courtyard of Loreto in Frogtown, this order-at-the-counter mariscos spot feels like you’re boozing it up in a designated pocket park. The daytime-only drinks menu includes margaritas, micheladas, milk punches, and housemade agua frescas that the bartender will happily add tequila to. The food menu is equally as good—think tostadas layered with yellowtail and tobiko mayo, calamari-topped guacamole, and the gooey, griddled Oaxacan cheese tacos. If you’re looking for some Sunday hangover relief, Za Za Za is the preferred medication." - brant cox
"If you're looking for an incredible seafood lunch, you can't do much better than the mariscos spot Za Za Zá. Burrito with shrimp aguachile and tostada raspada served with fries Ceviche colima with salsa puya and avocado served with chips Baja yellowtail with avocado, tobiko aioli, bonito flakes, and capers" - team infatuation
"Za Za Zá is a casual, daytime-only mariscos window attached to Loreto in Frogtown. It's the kind of incredible place that puts ceviche on tostilocos and serves micheladas colder than a popsicle stuck to the back of your freezer—all on an outdoor patio. Their straightforward miches are proof that you don't need to dump half a bottle of chamoy to make the drink special. In their michelada, heat quickly dissipates, briny Clamato finds its way through light Pacfico beer, and salt that acts as the conductor of the whole train. That, plus the pleasure of eating a tostada under one of Za Za Za’s frilly umbrellas, makes this patio one of our favorite places to eat mariscos in LA." - sylvio martins
"This daytime-only mariscos spot in Loreto’s courtyard in Frogtown serves what you want to be eating when the marine layer burns off and, suddenly, you're sweating a little. We're talking about tostadas layered with yellowtail and tobiko mayo, calamari-topped guacamole, and gooey, griddled Oaxacan cheese tacos. There’s also a full drink menu with agua frescas, micheladas, and boozy punches—which you’re obviously dabbling in as you slyly mute your Slack notifications." - brant cox
"Za Za Zá is a daytime-only mariscos window located in Loreto’s side alley that puts ceviche on tostilocos. You read that correctly. And now that your belly is making the sounds of a laundry machine full of marbles, lnow that everything on the short menu is just as exciting. Bite into a yellowfish tostada that’s capped with tangy tobiko mayo and a costra full of cheesy shrimp in a warm flour tortilla. Sadly this spot is only open three hours a day for lunch. But. hey, there’s always Loreto to look forward to after dark." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder, brant cox
