"This elegant yacht-style décor, replete with fishing rods, nets and copper portholes, caters to discerning food lovers. The chef highlights fish and seafood, with a menu that is renewed daily, according to the catch. Carpaccio of salmon and basil, grilled seabass to share or linguine with lobster (a house speciality): a festival of flavours!" - Michelin Inspector

Google
An amazing experience. Every detail was simple and so tasteful. Aroma of the Scottish salmon was top notch. Oysters was amazing, just the taste of cold ocean. Highly recommend.

Google
We found this place randomly. We got steak frittes, half lobster, scallops, and dessert. Everything was perfectly cooked and on point. The service was also superb. Highly recommend. Family friendly.

Google
Note the that this is a “ FISH “ restaurant “ ( but there is one choice of steak dishes ) was surprised that they immediately served me with mini baguettes & lemon 🍋 pieces & olive oil ( I usually request these especially when I order fish ) & better yet they served me with “ tasty garlic breads “ when the first “ fish “ dish ( appetizer ) was served : I recommend : Sea bass carpaccio as appetizer .

We walked in without a reservation and were cheerfully given a wonderful table. The best mussels I've had in my life. The oysters were soooo fresh and everything including the bread was delectable. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a special treat.

Google
Very good food especially the fried dishes, definitely on the more expensive side, atmosphere and environment were great except the seatings were a little cramped.

Google
Very average food, service horrible. Grilled sole for 68 euros

Google
Super delicious food. There were 80% french people and 20% tourists. We first thought it would be a tourist trap 😅 The artichokes were super tender. I personally don’t eat too much fish, but I just focused on the vegetables. The interior is very cozy and unique. Service was fast, friendly and professional. The only minus: very expansive!! The stuff you see on the photo was 195€. That is insane actually for, 1 thin fish filet, 1 artichock, 1 avocado, 1 Mini sardine starter, water and desert

Google
Disappointing seafood restaurant. The prices were way too high for the quality of the services and the food : the dishes were nothing exceptional and quite bland… You can find much better elsewhere for half the price.

Yelp
5 stars because the woman manager, not the sullen waiter was so friendly and welcoming. We started with oysters. Delicious. We shared the turbot, which was a huge portion. They give you Macarons gratis which is a nice touch. Very good meal.

Yelp
So I get the criticism for the attitude. I am not French and I was by myself so I was put at the shittiest table next to the kitchen with a a view of a shelf with plates. Really sucky. I told myself: You are not going to ruin your dinner because of a shitty table. So I told the waiter that I didn't like my table and they let me choose a different one. Everybody please do the same if you are not happy with it! The people there have a less than great attitude but we can still enjoy ourselves and eat well. I have to admit some of the clientele would drive me insane but oh well that's a tourist destination. I really enjoyed my food! Of course it's overpriced I don't understand how people can complain about the prices. Think about the location of the place. Don't go there if you don't like the prices. There is a copy of the menu at the front of the restaurant. The salmon carpaccio was great as well as the ravioli and langoustines with artichoke. I can recommend the quality of the food. If the staff is shitty, kill them with kindness

Yelp
I'm not sure I understand why the reviews vary but I can say, with certainty, that we had a delectable meal here. It is a seafood restaurant and no, it is not particularly cheap but ever morsel was fantastic! We had the salmon and basil ; clam linguine and profiteroles... these are not my usual fare and i was not excited to eat them...but... alas... I enjoyed them thoroughly. Lovely place with very good service

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant with very accommodating staff. Beyond that, it was very disappointing. The prices far exceed what is reasonable for the portions. My daughter ordered the langoustine and crab "salad". It was so meager it was shocking and for 56 euros. Her boyfriend ordered the John Dory fillet. It had so many bones in it, it was inedible. It tasted very good but with each bite he was picking out bones. My fish was the sole and it was good. We then ordered mussels as both my daughter and her boyfriend were still hungry. This with 4 langoustines to start, a soufflé for desert, and a half bottle of rose ended up to be 342 euros. There are many good places to eat in Paris, most better than this, for a fraction of the price.

Yelp
Worse restaurant in paris - unfortunately recommended to us by the concierge from George V - four seasons the service was horrible the waiter dribbled most of our wine while he poured our Sancerre into my water glass - soufflé came out as flat as a pancake - more like a chocolate lava cake- entrées start at $40.00- go somewhere else If you want to pay for $40.00 mashed potatoes - come here - was the only decent dish and experience of the evening . Blah - French should be ashamed. As should the four seasons for sending us here -

Yelp
This is a wonderful find if you are looking for old world service and strait forward good food. I was impressed in so many ways with the attention to detail from service to service wares. I do love beautiful china, silver and stemware. Though it seemed to be missing the personal touch of warmth and sincerity. I would highly recommend this for a business luncheon place. For personal enjoyment not sure you will find this the best spot to relax and enjoy your guests. In addition to prices that are a bit high in relationship to the offerings.

Yelp
Treat yourself and enjoy this amazing dining experience in Paris! The service was beyond amazing..not a tourist trap so the staff had to translate most of the menu, but they were happy yo do so. Smiles all around. The salmon and sea bass tartare was to die for, I highly recommend it. We also had the Dover sole which was absolutely delicious, melts in your mouth. The seafood linguine was excellent as well, but we liked the other dishes better. It's expensive so be prepared, but totally worth it! Make a reservation ahead of time.

Yelp
I went out of my way to dine here after reading a stellar review in a magazine in the US that stated it was a great place for seafood. Boy, I was disappointed with my experience. First of all the hostess was extremely rude with me. Then I was seated right next to the entrance to the noisy kitchen despite being their only customer for dinner. No one else would show for a half hour and thenin was just two more people. The kitchen staff were chatting very loudly and banging stuff around. Considering the price for a meal here this ambiance was completely bad. The waiter was efficent though. I ordered 6 oysters that were good but obscenely expensive. My entree was scallops with butternut squash and microgreens. Scallops were undercooked! Overall, I left unhappy and was amazed how much money I dropped for such a miserable time at Marius et Janette. Too bad. I will not return.

Yelp
The place is charming and the wait staff is very nice. We were seated at a great table and two of us ordered the multi-course chef selection and two ordered off the menu. The wine with the chef selection (i believe it was around 70 or 80 euro for the multi-course meal (came with a glass of wine)) - the wine was horrible so we sent that back and ordered a good bottle or Bordeaux, The apps were wonderful. The escargot were special to note. Oysters were great as well. Now, the entrees some... The fish was rubber and tasked frozen, the salmon was the same. The other peoples meals were not anything to write home about either. (everything had a took it from the freezer and microwaved it texture. The desserts were good Now, our bill for 4 was 680 (I know... YIKES) this is a very expense place. You expect the same for the food. Is it NOT worth it, HELL NO!!!

Yelp
The food is good. I have a thing for dover sole, so I've been trying that at numerous establishments in Paris. This place does a good job. Very tasty. large portions. Great bread, good service. Known for its fresh high quality seafood. A bit expensive. Strongly supported by locals, very few tourists.

Yelp
My girlfriend, my mother, and I went to a late dinner here. Very good food. Everything we had was absolutely delicious from the complimentary appetizer to even the complimentary dessert. The staff was very helpful and translated the entire menu and spent time with each of us on deciding our courses and the wine to drink. The ambiance is very quiet and the space is small. The inside is decorated like a cabin of a boat, which was ok but I personally did not enjoy. I recommend sitting outside at night because you have a great view of the Eiffel tower lighted up.

Yelp
This is a nice restaurant with chic casual ambiance. I found the menu somewhat limited. The food was simply good. The service, excellent.

Yelp
Cute fish restaurant with superb fish and seafood. Been here on my own and with Grandfather, and both times had a lovely night. Excellent service and worth it. Try and sit out, Avenue George V is gorgeous on a summer night, then head to the champs for a night-cap.

Yelp
just ok, overpriced this restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. when we showed up place was empty, but as we had no reservations and were obviously american tourists they offered us an outdoor table. service was actually attentive, but the food was just ok, nothing that stood out. would likely not eat there again if given the chance.

Yelp
Arrived on time for reservation, table was still occupied was told to wait for five to ten minutes so we walked around outside. Food was very good but incredibly expensive, six oysters, two orders of salt encrusted sea bass - 136E with a bottle of Riesling 236E! Have to admit it was a Monday night and it was packed with locals! We just didn't feel it was worth the cost.

Yelp
My wife and I after 13 years of marriage and two kids managed to get a week away from it all in Paris. 5 nights at the Renaissance Arc de Triumph and 2 at the Four Seasons George V - both convenient totally different and very nice. One of our favorite meals was here, I must admit for the price I was expecting something a bit more over the top. It was good, very expensive but basic. The sole menier was perfectly cooked as we're the mussels and other courses. Wait stall all spoke English and were very nice - made you feel welcome.
