Mark Jordan at the Beach

A fantastic dining experience! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing.

Whenever we come to Jersey we make a point of visiting Mark Jordan's for a great meal experience. This time, it let us down badly when we booked for a birthday dinner. The food was as good as ever but that is only part of the meal experience. We were given table 15 which must be the worst table in the restaurant. Only 7 tables were used that evening so there was no need to use 15. One of the two seats is beside a solid wall and elbow room is restricted by a fire extinguisher, see the picture. This should be the last table to be used! The atmosphere was soules and the staff were aloof and made no attempt to engage. Overall a great disappointment and an experience we will not choose to risk again

The food was amazing. I had the scallops to start followed by the loin of brill. My dining companion had the oysters followed by the loin of cod. There was nothing I could fault about the food or the service. I have only given this place 4 stars as I feel it was lacking a few finer points. For example the menu was on a piece of laminated paper and there was no table decoration. I know it's only a minor thing but when you are paying a high end price you expect a high end service. It still won't put me off from returning or recommending to others.

Fantastic dining experience, beautiful food full of flavours, highly suggest the Thai Cod. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing place. Went by myself for my birthday. I had a window seat and they really looked after me. The food was the best I had tasted on the island. Will be going back on my next visit to the island.

Had a wonderful meal here. Seaview table in the evening. Whitebait nibbles followed by scotch egg for starters were very impressive. Grilled plaice and a selection of desserts to die for. Super friendly service with good sized portions make this restaurant a must place to visit when in Jersey. Also a very reasonably priced wine menu here.

On a very hot day we were delighted to be able to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful lunch in the most perfect of settings. It was a special day and you did us proud with outstanding quality and presentation.
