"Long-running Berkeley grocery store Market Hall Foods announced Tuesday that it plans to close its doors permanently on Sunday, May 26, East Bay Nosh reports. The store held down a corner location on Fourth Street for more than two decades, opening in 1996 and selling deli food, cheese, pasta, and other pantry goods. If you’re looking to feed a crowd, the markets also have meals to feed three or six people. Place orders online or by phone for pick up.
