"Long-running Berkeley grocery store Market Hall Foods announced Tuesday that it plans to close its doors permanently on Sunday, May 26, East Bay Nosh reports. The store held down a corner location on Fourth Street for more than two decades, opening in 1996 and selling deli food, cheese, pasta, and other pantry goods. Meanwhile, the store’s Rockridge location at 5655 College Avenue will remain open." - Dianne de Guzman
