It’s a slightly swanky-looking neighborhood bar where you can always find a $10 pour of the week, like a white Negroni or frozen piña colada float. Their red leather booths are a likely place to run into that barback you worked with back in the day or that person you bought a couch from on Marketplace. And every Tuesday, you can snag something from the rotating food trucks parked outside to go with your two-for-one beer. It could be something like the Half Moon made with rye whiskey and cognac or the Devil’s Advocate, a mix of mezcal, Batavia (a fermented red rice spirit), black currant liqueur, and lime juice. Take some time to admire the bar space, too—it reminds us of our high school friend’s parent’s basement.
