Martini's Seafood House - Review - Fredericksburg - Austin - The Infatuation

"As the only proper seafood joint off Main Street in Fredericksburg, Martini’s Seafood House is where to go when you’re willing to drop a little cash. Despite being a smaller old-school establishment with black-and-white photographs, stained wooden paneling, and pressed-tinplate ceiling tiles, Martini’s service and quality rival those of modern high-dollar seafood restaurants in Texas’ larger cities. The stripped-down yacht club vibe perfectly complements the brine of the oysters and lemon-spritzed crab and lobster. Martini’s novelty guarantees a wait, though a spot at the bar is just as charming. Come for the crab cakes and martinis (or mocktails), but soak in the steamed hand towels and handsome sailing portraits of JFK. photo credit: Richard Casteel photo credit: Richard Casteel photo credit: Richard Casteel photo credit: Richard Casteel photo credit: Richard Casteel Pause Unmute" - Samantha Grasso

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Martinis Seafood House is an absolute gem! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, with every dish beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were outstanding, and the atmosphere was welcoming and upscale without feeling stuffy. Special shout out to KALI for providing exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and truly made our experience memorable. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend for a special night out or an unforgettable dining experience!

Google
Always come here during the Christmas holidays and/or New Years when we come to town. The food is always fabulous as is the atmosphere. We enjoyed Ahi Tuna, Mussels & Clam Chowder. The Oysters Rockefeller were amazing. The Mexican Martini and the Pear Tree Martini were perfect. Conner was an exceptional waiter with a great personality. We will keep coming back.

Google
We enjoyed pretty their whole drink menu. Kali was our waitress, super nice and informative of both the food and drink menus. We had the calamari as an appetizer and the shrimp po boys as mains. All seafood here is awesome, previously lobster rolls and lobster bisque was enjoyed. Always a staple when visiting Fredericksburg.

Google
Our first stop on the Fredricksberg fun train. Taren is amazing. Very attentive and she always made sure our drinks were fresh. Hoping she is here for our next anniversary vacation. Amazing bartender. If your ever in town, come for their happy hour and you will not be disappointed. An absolute must in the Texas hill country.

Google
Some of the best food I have eaten. The waygu filet was one of the best I have ever had. The hospitality is unmatched!! Our server, Kali, was very knowledgeable and personable. Everyone from the hostess to the chef were extremely friendly and definitely enhanced the atmosphere. Definitely recommend if in Fredericksburg.

Google
Martini’s Seafood House is an absolute must-visit in Fredericksburg. The food is incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared—it’s a refreshing change of pace for the area. Our experience was made even better by our server, Connor. He was attentive, friendly, and provided top-tier service that really elevated our meal. It is rare to find such a perfect balance of great food and genuine hospitality. If you’re in town, don’t miss this spot. You will enjoy the live music as a plus!

Google
We sat at the bar with Mia, and everything was a 12/10. Incredible service, and martinis! Oysters were so good and fresh, we ordered two platters. The live music was a great touch to the ambience to celebrate our anniversary. So good we’re coming back tomorrow! Thanks Mia!

Victoria H.

Google
We had a fabulous time! Connor was beyond amazing with service and everything for our special night! Wait wasn't too long and everything was superb! Moscato was delicious! All of our food was cooked perfectly! Could not ask for a better place! Atmosphere is amazing! So many sweet locals that just make an amazing night!

Yelp
Our server Collin was absolutely fantastic! Sweet and efficient. The food was outstanding! Hubby had oysters on the half shell and they were icy cold and delicious! Dirty martinis were on point! Ahi tuna was perfectly cooked alongside garlic mashed potatoes. I had the barramundi which was buttery and unctuous! The asparagus was cooked to perfection!!! We will be back!!!!!

Yelp
First and most wonderful visit to Martini's this evening! Servers were Mia and Cameron, both did a great job! Seated immediately... no reservations accepted, so get there early. Bernie Martini on the piano... nice! We arrived in time for happy hour, so fresh gulf oysters and martinis ruled the first hour! Oysters were delicious, served ice cold. Cosmo and lemon drop martinis had the right balance. Parmesan scallops followed, with garlic bread on the side. A different dish, but delicious! Glad we tried that one! Entrees included the shrimp poor boy and barramundi piccata. Both expertly cooked and served piping hot... A glass of rose and French bubbles made a perfect pairing. Key lime pie for dessert was the perfect ending to a phenomenal meal. Finished with lemon draped hot towel service! We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend Martini's!

Yelp
The oysters for $1....I would be back for this every day if I lived here. The service and drinks were also great. But the oysters! You need to get the oysters!!

Yelp
Been a minute since we came to Fredericksburg. We definitely love good Seafood! This facility was casually cozy with recorded music playing. Make sure you have reservations as this place tends to get busy & limited seating. We started with a fresh Wedge salad which we decided split. Will say a full wedge would have been a bit too much for one person. Fresh bread which we discovered was from a local bakery. The fresh shrimp boil another meal we split. Unfortunately I do not have pics of the dessert as my spouse consumed before I was able to snap a pic. Definitely would return here again.

Yelp
It was a lively spot to have lunch! I was pleasantly surprised and it had a bit of a wait. There is a bit of a sea smell and fried food scent that will stay on you upon departure. Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives made perfect. Boozy enough while tasting delicious. I had a blackened fish sandwich. Was good and ranch was good too. I would go back!
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Fabulous lunch with Jeremy being the star of the service here! We made the drive from SA and tried the shrimp and crab boils (old bay and spicy) the shrimp po boy, the lobster roll, lobster bisque and ahi tuna steak. I recommend the bisque and lobster roll! For dessert we tried the chocolate ganache cheesecake and creme brûlée. Will order the pecan pie next time because it looked great.

Yelp
Martinis was great. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and by the time we left, the place was full. Don't bring in your drinks from other spots, we accidentally did and they were kind enough to replace it (shhhh!). We ordered the spinach artichoke dip. So good! Also ordered the Shrimp Boil to share. Absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was good and the atmosphere was really great. I would definitely recommend and return. Tip: They do charge a fee for credit cards. Apparently they also have a loyalty program.

Yelp
I brought my family of six to celebrate the Christmas holiday and Colin went above and beyond. I recommend this five star rating to anyone that wants to come be sure to ask for Collin!

Cheryl W.

Yelp
Highly recommended. Imagine a seafood restaurant in Central Texas that rivals any on the Gulf of America or one od the coast! The Barramundi was perfection. Cass, a new hire, deserving of this five star review. Will return for more.
google avatar

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Best dirty martini I ever had. Stuffed olives with blue cheese. Blue cheese stuffed by the bartender.

Yelp
Great location and service. Every one was so friendly even the patrons. My husband and I were drooling for fresh seafood and Martini's didn't disappoint. We Inquired about the seafood tower for 2 and were a bit taken back about the price. Don't get me wrong, you get plenty of seafood but I have to say the price is a little steep. Since it was our anniversary we decided to splurge. It would have been better if the crab legs were warm but it was definitely delicious nonetheless. Great visit and I highly recommend!

Peter J.

Yelp
The food was awesome and Collin was a great waiter!! The lobster bisque was off the hook!!! Shrimp and crab boil was amazing!!
google avatar

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Came in for happy hour and a couple of drinks. Sterling presented me with the most well-crafted Corpse Reviver #2 (Gin) and a trademarked Dark & Stormy (Rum) that have ever blessed my pallet. Will definitely be back and highly recommend Martini's!

Sophie L.

Yelp
Roman was the best ever! Looks and service request him if you come to martinis! I will be coming back so soon!!

Yelp
UPDATE. A representative reached out from Martini's to both apologize and give me an update. The Happy Hour saw only supposed to be closed during the two weeks of spring break. Happy Hour was restarted today and again, locals, please don't try and use another promotional discount with another offer. Martini's Jacks, and other businesses offer locals night and happy hour as a appreciation or thank you. May venues do so and make little profits on those items. So please, don't abuse it or take advantage. I know my servers/owners. They do appreciate the community and locals. So remember to tip and tip on the full amount without the discount . Our services often drive into Fredericksburg from other communities. Thanks again Greg.

Yelp
Service was great. Ambiance was nice especially the music. Food was not bad but I don't feel like we got our moneys worth. A small shrimp po boy was over $26. I ordered the sea bass. It had decent flavor and texture but the amount received was underwhelming for the price we paid. Expect over $200 for a couple of drinks , 2 apps, and 3 meals that are served in cafeteria style baskets.

Terry M.

Yelp
Excellent as always! Our server Cass was amazing she was fast, efficient and so friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
This review will be split in two parts. First, the staff is great. Wendy, Sterling and everyone provided great service. The drinks were great. The oysters were fresh and tasty. Then main courses were subpar. The lobster bisque was very salty and tasted like something out of a can. The steak salad had a super sweet dressing that over powered everything and the sirloin was chewy and lacked flavor. Not sure what the hype is all about. But I'd come back just for drinks and oysters. Everything else is wayyyy overpriced for the quality.

Judy S.

Yelp
Very nice cozy establishment. Very friendly manager unlike Jacks Chophouse. Manager would sit and listen to my story. Not overpriced. Casual dining. I would wait in line to enjoy it all

Justin D.

Yelp
this place has an amazing atmosphere and even better food. collin was our server this evening, and made our experience a+++. the scallops were top notch, the crab legs were amazing. We would recoomend calling ahead to be added to the waitlist, as the location has very limited seating. But it is well worth the wait!

Lori R.

Yelp
Wonderful food, atmosphere and had wonderful service from our waitress, Cass. Everyone should try it.

Yelp

Yelp
I was in Fredericksburg with my girlfriends for a little getaway. We ate there two nights because the food for so good!

Roxanne Escobedo R.

Yelp
Fantastic music, fantastic service, fantastic atmosphere. Christian, our server, was one of the best we've had at any restaurant in a while. He was personable, friendly, not over bearing, and gave exceptional advice. We enjoyed our tuna burger and the shrimp and crab boil for our entrées. For appetizers, we had our Canadian oysters and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Finishing our dinner experience with a chocolate martini and dirty martini. It didn't hurt to have a chocolate cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. We highly recommend on your next trip to Fredricksburg!
google avatar

Kimberly R.

Yelp
Service and food were amazing. Our server Thomas D. Was very attentive. We had the Parmesan baked scallops, Spinach artichoke dip, Mexican Martinis, Espresso Martini and Crab Boils. The crab boils come in spicy or just Old Bay seasoning. I had to ask what the seasonings were for the spicy one which I had due to heavy Allspice/clove taste. I expected spicy but not literally spices (Like dessert). He surprised me and brought out a piece of their chocolate ganache cheesecake on the house. So just a heads up on taste if you order the Spicy Crab Boil. All in all 10-10 recommend and ask for Thomas!

Yelp
In the Heart of Hill Country where the Texas Beef roams the turf, Martini's brings the surf! What a great find on our day trip to Fredricksburg with a quality dinner experience that all started with our Server, Christie. She was friendly, professional and very helpful in talking us through the many seafood options they offer. From my wife's Espresso Martini, fantastic Wedge Salad, to the Seafood Tower that was impressive in presentation. The Oysters, Lobster, Crab and Prawns were perfectly prepared that took us back our coastal roots! Add Martini's to your next visit to Fredericksburg and ask for Christie!

Yelp
3.5.... Wanted this place to be better than it was. Should have known. I was raised in the PNW and we know roasted coffee and our seafood. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, crab cakes, the shrimp cocktail, the wedge salad (which never came), surf and turf, and the crab Mac n cheese. The dip was average, Crab cakes seemed almost processed, shrimp was on the downside of its shelf life, the surf and turf was basically lathered with a sauce and butter/ garlic that made it indistinguishable. The waiter who was great (Jaksen) insisted we try the pecan pie. Claiming it was indeed a 10 out of 10 had clearly never been to Costco during Thanksgiving... Traveling through Texas this meal was easily the worst we had. I would say avoid until they start caring again. For $300 for 2 adults and a 5 yo this place is a rip off.

Yelp
Seafood tower is outstanding! So many oysters, crabs, and lobster chilled to perfection. You're in New Orleans with the French martini too! Ask for Roman, excellent service.

Yelp
I went here for dinner last Sunday, and it was just okay. You can call ahead to get on the waitlist, and they'll text you when it's your turn. The place is small but cozy. However, our food took a long time to arrive, and the server didn't check on us while we waited. Once our meals came, he was attentive again. I ordered oysters, but the waiter forgot them. He did bring a few for free, which was nice. I had the pan-seared bass, and it wasn't great and felt overpriced. My partner got the steak, which was really good. Considering what we paid, I'd rate the service a 6.5 out of 10. It was Valentine's weekend, so I get that the staff might have been worn out.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant with high hopes due to a review I saw. I arrived with a friend and was told I could either sit at the bar or sit at this table that was in the corner at the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the table. The table and the chairs were poorly wiped down, with crumbs left behind. I cleaned it myself. I ordered a few things off of the menu; oysters, calamari, and an ahi tuna burger. The calamari was delicious! I didn't get to fully enjoy the oysters, because there was a long piece of hair sitting on the lemon that was provided and I would have liked some crackers. The waiter never came back to the table to ask if I needed a refill on my drinks, if the food tasted okay, or if there was anything else I might need. To be fair, they were short staffed and the place was a bit busy, but he passed up my table SEVERAL times, waiting on other tables. He could have quickly checked in with our table and let us know he'd be back to assist shortly. I expressed my concerns and they addressed the issues/apologized, so I do appreciate that. The decor was nice! A lot of pictures on the wall and just a really cozy spot. Overall, maybe my experience would have been better if they didn't have the staffing issue, but I still don't see myself returning anytime soon.

Yelp
First time here and I was not disappointed! Small place but great menu. Drinks were also great. I had two cucumber martinis and they were very tasty. Also had a lobster roll. Lobster Mac n cheese, a wedge salad, and crab cakes. Everything was very good. It wasn't too busy when we sat down so we were served pretty quickly and the food didn't take long either. There isn't a parking area, it's here in the town and parking is along the streets. Very great waitstaff and great ambiance and great music was playing as well. I highly recommend!

Yelp
My husband and I visited Fredericksburg for his birthday and stumbled up on Martini's for dinner on a Friday night. The food was great but Cody and Sterling were Ah!Mazing! Cody made the best Whiskey sour I've had in a very long time. Don't sleep on Martini's and check out the guys behind the bar.

Yelp
Ambiance: 5/5 They have songs from artists like The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and The Supremes. It definitively sets a charming mood. There's fresh seafood on ice at the window. The have lots of bar space, although table space isn't too large. Food: 5/5 We got lots of stuff. Lobster mac n cheese. Super creamy, lots of large chunks of lobster meat. It's also cooked with bacon which gave it a smokey flavor. Wedge salad, they asked if we wanted it split in two bowls and we did. It was drizzled with a tangy balsamic reduction, blue cheese, crispy onions, and bacon. It was great. The lettuce was crisp and the heirloom cherry tomatoes provided a pop of sweetness. The crab cakes were a good size, crunchy outside, tender inside filled with red and blue crab. Not too much filler, mostly crab meat. The Maine lobster roll was phenomenal. Large luscious crabmeat, lightly dressed with mayo and chive, in a fresh baguette type bread. They have a full bar and lots of drinks to choose from. I enjoyed my The French, a black currant martini and The Pear Tree. Both were well balanced and refreshing. Service: 5/5 they were attentive. Grabbed us waters as soon as we sat down and gave us drink and food menus and periodically checked on us. Parking: there's not a dedicated parking lot but there's lots of street parking available if you're here early.

Yelp
Food & drinks were amazing. Service was ok, but they were also pretty busy. Jeremy came to save the day & provided us amazing service.

Yelp
My first experience over 10 years ago trying an oyster was traumatic. I'm so glad I gave oysters another chance today because I liked it! So glad we ordered the Seafood platter! I think it was also my first time trying lobster and was pleasantly surprised. I also came with an oyster fanatic and she said they're great East Coast oysters, buttery! The food is very fresh, the drinks are fantastic and the service was excellent, thank you Cody!
google avatar

Maddie C.

Yelp
Unfortunately we have to rate this a 1. We stopped by to get drinks and dinner. The hostess informed is that the bar as first come first serve but we weren't allowed to sit there the 5th of July, we chose to go elsewhere due to her inability to accommodate us.
google avatar

Yelp
Run do not walk to this wonderful restaurant! Oysters (not gulf), Cajun-influenced entrees, lobsta (sic) rolls, and the staples (meat & potatoes). All of our Appies and entrees were 5-star as was the service team on this busy Saturday evening. We four originally went to The Stable as their lobsta rolls and drinks were and I quote "off the charts". Well, the Stable is not serving food just strong pours. We were pointed to Martinis as this is their "sister" restaurant. After a brief wait we were seated and based on the fact that they were at capacity with a number of large parties we steeled ourselves for spotty service. Not so! Service was on point as were my Blue Point oysters! Two of us ordered their spicy lobsta roll (not I) and was bountiful and delicious. I ordered their Ahi tuna salad and it exceeded my expectations. There was a good amount of tuna and I was FullFilled at completion. Last but not least I ordered 2 desert dry Ketel One martinis and they rivaled the ones I mix/pour at home. They did have live music when we visited and the couple played our requests and then some. Good times, great food, & service!

Yelp
First stop in Fredericksburg's and it was the perfect cap to our first night. We came in pretty late and needed a place to eat for dinner. Prior to coming into town I tried to call to join a waitlist and didn't have any luck getting through on the phone.. but did see many people calling in and reserving when we got to the restaurant. It was 6:30 was told there was a wait for 35-40 minutes. Not bad at all considering it was the peak of dinner time. The space was clean but lively and the customers here seemed to be enjoying their food. We were so excited to get seated and landed a seat at the bar! our server Cody was top notch! He was fast, made great drinks, and overall had a great personality. Food was good!! - The calamari was the star of the night . Crisp but flavorful while also having a nice balance between sweet and "tangy". - lobster Mac was good but the amount of cheese sauce was a bit much . Personal preference that is. I wish there was a crispy element ! - steak salad was okay... seafood is definitely their speed here. Drinks and desserts: - bluebonnet cocktail is perfect for those who love that fruity & sweet combo . Very fresh but also sweet! - key lime pie was personally a no. We didn't finish it and overall wished we chose the cheesecake which many were raving around us. Overall we would come again!

Yelp
On a whim we decided to try to walk-in on a Friday for dinner, early - we were successful and I can't tell you how happy I am we did. Started with oysters - today they had 3 different kinds so I had 2 of each. They did not disappoint. We then had the garlic shrimp scampi and the clams and mussels pot. One thing was better than the other. The garlic bread they serve alongside the seafood in the broth was just amazing. The bread in the oil from the scampi and THEN dunked into the broth from the clams & mussels - do it. Everything came out quick and Sierra was fantastic! It's a small space but comfortable. The bar looks popular for couples eating.

Yelp
The Martinis are delicious they offer huge seafood plates to share the shrimp was yummy and the chocolate cheesecake hit the spot!

Yelp
I'm not a local and I come from seafood country to the left and spent years working in seafood country to the right. I'm familiar with seafood tradition on the crazy and conforming coasts. I visited this restaurant with two locals who have eaten here before and were very happy with the fare. That's why they took me. This time not so much. We had a melange of complaints from not well prepared to prepared okay but not particularly flavorful. We cared more about chatting and enjoying each other and less about the food. So, we said nothing. As an out-of-towner, I didn't want to be a pain. I didn't/don't know what standard preparation is for this area. For all I know, to the locals, my dinner would have been deemed exquisite. I just wasn't invested enough to return my item to the kitchen. I picked at what I liked most. The waiter came by multiple times and asked how the meal was; we always answered it was fine. But at the end, we told him the truth. Clearly he was a bit annoyed. He admonished, "You're supposed to tell me!" We didn't and we own that. He however was all aces. Funny and kind, attentive and happy to make us happy. Desserts were comped to make up for, he was really very kind with us in spite of our being "after the fact" whiners. We had a nice time in a nice environment with staff clearly ready to please. I'd go again given the chance and I'd recommend this place to someone else. At this point I'd say they may be inconsistent as my fellow diners previously had food they very much enjoyed. During our visit I was specific about the lemon drop I wanted and it was perfect. And the creme brûlée I had was outstanding. The custard was smooth as silk and really flavorful. A little cup of heaven. So excellence can be delivered here. And as I learned last night, even if you're a visitor, send the food back and allow them the chance to wow you. My bad.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Friday with a few girlfriends and though the place was mostly packed, we were able to find a seat right away. They have happy hour specials until 4 pm on Fridays, so we took advantage of that and ordered food and drinks from their HH menu. I started off with the French martini and ordered the Cucumber martini for my second drink. Both were really good! I loved the spicy tajin rim that the cucumber martini came with, which gave it a nice kick. We had dinner plans so we decided to order a few food items to snack on. We ordered the lobster slider, both spicy and Maine, Martini's baked parmesan scallops, the garlic shrimp scampi, and a dozen oysters. Each lobster slider comes with one slider plus potato chips. I get that lobster rolls are pricey, but I felt that one single slider on a Hawaiian bun with some chips for $15 during happy hour was a bit steep. The lobster itself was really good though, although the Maine tasted better than the spicy. The parmesan scallops were also really good and is a great option to share with others. The garlic shrimp scampi was also delicious and is super buttery and garlicky. Yum! The oysters were also good- nothing special though as they were just regular Gulf oysters. Service was fairly slow as there was only one server working, but everyone was friendly and accommodating with whatever we needed. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks and the few appetizers we snacked on. I would definitely come back here again and would like to try their regular menu for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Martinis is the place to be when visiting Fredericksburg. Off of Main Street you will find this place. It's a seafood based restaurant with some good finds. There's plenty of cocktails to choose from with options of nonalcoholic. The wait was long in a Saturday night. It once we got in we were seated at the bar and had service by Marco and Sterling. Our food took no time to come out. Although the place is small in size you get great service with some good food. Prices are reasonable for a seafood restaurant. Seafood boil starting at $40, shrimpboy in the mid $20s. Stop by when you are in town to visit.

Yelp
Was not what was advertised Not worth the wait and the food was not worth it. Please serve what is advertised Oysters were pre shucked Understaffed Underperformed Server did their best

Yelp
Food and service on point! Liz our server was pretty awesome! Had a blackberry and lemon mocktail and that was delicious The garlic cheese bread from the mussels dish was to die for as well.

Yelp
This was my first time here and even though the wait was a little long, the experience was well worth the wait. The oysters were fresh (a little salty), the lobster mac n cheese is an absolute must have!!! And the seafood boil was nothing short of amazing! Our waiter Cody was great! He was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Martini's!! Oh! and try the NEW fashioned when you come!!

Yelp
Make your trip to Fredericksburg special with high quality seafood and cocktails :-) This is an especially good idea if you live in a city or county that doesn't offer great seafood. That said, don't be looking for your favorite fish here. This place is all about lobster, shrimp, oyster, and snow crab. The place is a full service bar (loved the espresso martini!), with seating for 12 at the bar, along with a 30-seat seafood restaurant. We had snow crab (excellent!), baked oysters, and a wild-caught, Argentinian shrimp cocktail. Martinis is within walking distance of all your favorite downtown Fredericksburg shops, so it certainly makes a great mid-shopping break. The service was excellent. There were five staffers serving twenty patrons. These included bartenders, wait staff and servers. The table behind us was a young couple that was new to ordering cocktails and ordered a dirty martini, which is something they'd never tried before. They didn't like it and wanted to switch to something more familiar (a beer). The waiter instantly replaced the drink, apologized and comped it... all very smoothly. In retrospect, we shouldn't have ordered baked oysters. They were good, gulf oysters, perfectly baked, covered with cheese and bacon. And they are tasty. But oysters are a delicate flavor. And so, prepared like this, you're basically paying $26 for the flavor of bacon and cheese. Better to go raw. And then you have a choice of three different types of oysters (market price). Plus, how often do you get to eat Price Edward or other species of oyster. If you've never tried anything but gulf oysters, this is a good place to expand your palate. Speaking of expanding your palate, they offer a wide array of martinis along with a few other specialty cocktails (such as an old fashioned to which they've added elderberry liqueur) at about $14 each. After a cocktail of two, or after eating snow crab and wanting to wash your hands, you'll discover my one complaint, which is that the restrooms were confusing. There are two unisex restrooms. The more visible one is labeled "restrooms" but there's only one toilet and one sink there, so I'm not sure why it's plural. And the other one is less visible (it's a side door just after the office), so I didn't see it. (Who expects a restroom outside of the area labeled "restrooms"?) As a result, I saw several patrons notice that the "restrooms" door was locked so they returned to their tables without noticing the other restroom. This is easily remedied, of course. No points off. Five stars. But I hope they soon make it clear to their bar patrons that they're not being forced to share one restroom with dozens of other drinkers. We'll be back for raw oysters and another espresso martini. And this time I won't be caught off guard by the whole coffee bean that was lurking below the surface. I didn't see it before it ended up in my mouth and then I crunched into it thinking it was a bit of ice, which gave me a bit of a surprise. Still... it was the best espresso martini I've ever ordered.
