"After a four-year hiatus, this Phinney Ridge meat lover’s destination officially returned in 2021. Though the famed Santa Maria tri-tip sandwich is still a fan favorite, the restaurant also serves some killer breakfast options Sunday mornings, including the Boss Hogg (bacon, Kurobuta ham and Tillamook cheddar on toasted brioche). Open for takeout via phone and online preordering, and limited dine-in service." - Eater Staff

"After a four-year hiatus, one meat-lover’s spot in Phinney Ridge is planning its comeback. Martino’s — which served up much-coveted tri-tip sandwiches for years before closing in 2016 — recently teased photos on Facebook with signage for its upcoming new location at 7314 Greenwood Ave N and a preview of menu items in preparation for its winter debut." - Gabe Guarente

I really liked this spot but the food wasn’t my favorite and I was hoping for an all around better taste. The food was just average and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I wasn’t hoping with each bite I would change my mind. The fries were the best! Great seasoning so I’ll give them that. The chili had a nice presentation and they added some tri tip to it so that helped. The potato salad was interesting since it was more of a mashed potato salad. The sandwich didn’t have much flavor either. Mac n cheese didn’t have any flavor at all and I like it a little creamier. I want to go back and try other things since it was a good vibe and the staff was great. The bartender was amazing! Keep it up and I hope they stick around and amp up the flavors somehow cause this is a good comfort food spot. I think the chicken sandwich is the way to go! That’s what we will try next!

We had the chili, chili fries and the tri tip sandwich at lunch. All really good. Service was friendly and quick. A fair number of people in for lunch. It was clean and well organized. We'll be back.

Was really craving a fish and chips and this place did not disappoint. So tasty, good portion of chips, and great selection of beers available too.

Great service, bartender checked in regularly, food came quick. Had one of the Weekly Specials, The smoked Pork chop with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. Pork was delicious, the mashed potatoes were perfect. Found parking in a side street nearby. Make sure to look for the parking signs, permit, restricted etc.

Always great food, service and atmosphere. Delish fish and chips and the ribs were mouth watering. Should we get another order to go?

Fried chicken dinner 👌🏻 the chicken is juicy and crispy, but it’s a bit too salty to my taste
