Went in last minute before closing. Food actually was not bad even 1 hour before closing. We had a full dinner. And you did not see cringy face, and that was a good service 1 hour before closing. However, atmosphere was so so and it would not be a good place for hang out or private talk. Socializing would be too bright.

I want to caveat that the food here is great, *for the price*. Hence the 5 stars. I've had much better katsus elsewhere but... for just over 10 quid for what I got? Brilliant. Service? Fast and efficient. Katsu I had was premade and assembled on the spot but as mentioned for the price, it looks great and tastes good for the price. Great for groups as that's no need to fuss around with the bill later given its pay after collecting your food.

The food and atmosphere were generally good, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the chicken meatballs, which came with a generous portion of noodles, but there were only six small meatballs. I ended up ordering six more meatballs separately.

Love it! If you want warm and comfy food that's the place to eat. Udon noodles and the broth are so good, topped with one or two karaage and you'll have the best combo for your dinner or lunch. Highly recommended, worth the price!

More places like this in London please. Great value for decent food served quickly. Served with decent priced pint (for London!) of Asahi! Perfect for a pit stop in between travels at Liverpool street. New spot.

Pretty decent overall. Sunday afternoon so service was a touch slow but food was sufficiently delicious. Very good location.

This is the best noodle spot, good value great textured noodles perfectly cooked and fresh with extremely tasty broths. I love that there’s lots of free condiments you can add like spring onions, chillies and sauces. They even have crispy tempura batter bits which is my favourite.

Udon has good chewy texture and I like they you can pick different sizes. Enjoyed the bk udon which was available cold.
