The manager, I think, is called Ibrahim, was not professional in his communication with customers, and keeps pushing to ask them to order more and more to increase their bill, though we know this restaurant in Dubai; but our experience in this branch is totally understandable. He also tried to impose us (me and my family) to set in a table which we were not convenient for us. One final important comment is that there is a minimum order per person of £40. To be honest, the food is excellent, except the manager treatment was totally not acceptable, and keep saying that this is the owners guidelines. I hope the owner can resolve this issue permanently soon.

Great experience, we ordered the lamb shoulder and a whole lot of sides. The meat was super tender, the baba ganoush was amazing. So much food we couldn’t finish it, great portion sizes!

Ibrahim was a wonderful server, helpful and kind! The food was excellent. The kouzi (lamb) dish was tender and delicious. We had fresh bread and a cheese appetizer that were flavorful. Very large portions! And a tasty dessert too. Would recommend!

Masgouf is a restaurant that I have been regularly dining at for years. After at least 50 consecutive delicious meals I thought its time to post. Restaurant is halal so alcohol isn't available. But if you are a foodie and can hold off on bevvies for a couple of hours then welcome to heaven. The Barbecued Seabas is as good as you will find anywhere in the world. The Sheek kebab is so tender and flavourful it literally had one of my guests in tears as it reminded him of his late Grandmother's legendary kebabs. The lamb on the bone and brains are extraordinary. The various stews excellent. The rice and fresh breads are very good and the baba ganoush is the best I've had. Also the house salads are delicious. Dressing is incredibly moreish. Loads of authentic Iraqi deserts too many to mention but I like to finish with dates and tehina and tea. The staff, carefully managed by the owner provide excellent service. I could happily eat there every day and can't wait to get back there.

The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations. They ensure that guests feel welcomed and cater to their needs, enhancing the overall dining experience. While Masgouf London delivers a solid dining experience, there is still room for a few minor improvements. Some dishes could benefit from bolder flavors and more innovative presentations. Additionally, occasional delays in service during busy times could be addressed to ensure a seamless experience. In conclusion, Masgouf London provides a satisfying dining experience with its delicious masgouf fish, flavorful Middle Eastern dishes, inviting ambiance, and attentive service. Masgouf is my first experience at an Iraqi restaurant. As expected the cuisine is very close to the ones from Iran, while differing is subtle details like the spices. The food quality is descent and the food portions are quite good. With each main course you get either fries or rice. I highly favor rice over fries as the dishes are always served with rice in Iraq. The place is nice an clean with an Arabic background music.

Pretty meh. Food was fairly nice. Arayes was burnt and oily, mixed grill was flavourless but the kofte and chicken were nice. Lamb shish was dry. Very very overpriced. £40 for all that is pretty bad to be honest. You'd expect a lot more especially from Iraqi food (I'm Iraqi). Not the hospitality you expect either. We waited over 30 mins for the food which is fine I guess but we did ask for water so that could be brought immediately. We saw for every other guest it was brought in quickly. Tea and pudding is a nice touch. The masgouf might be nice but £70 for that is a bit much
