Visited in November 2025 for lunch. The menu included 8 savoury dishes (one was a bonus dish not included on the written menu we got) and 3 desserts. I really liked both the place and the food! The restaurant is modern and spacious and all service was done in English.
Chef Hiroyuki Koshimo, senior sommelier Masahiro Kobayashi and their 2 staff present did an amazing job. My favourite dishes were the beef, green salad, and shiitake mushroom. The desserts were also great, which is a nice surprise for me, as I'm often not a fan of desserts on either Michelin or Japanese restaurants. My least favorite dish was the sakura shrimp risotto, but I am generally not a risotto fan. The home-made ginger ale was delicious!
Overall, this was a good experience from start to finish: it was easy to book, easy to find the restaurant, and the meal itself was great. I wish I had the chance to come back again during a different season :)
A small note: this place serves modern cuisine - a fusion of Japanese and Western ingredients and dishes. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese meal, you're better off elsewhere. But if you're lookjng for delicious food with ingredients that are not too exotic, Mashiro is great!
