"Masía is Spanish for ‘farmhouse’. The chef, Mateu Villaret, created the restaurant from his roots, the dining table of his family back in Catalonia. Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, the hometown fare combines ingredients from both sea and mountain – and proves that Japanese seafood and Spanish ham and chorizo go very nicely together." - Michelin Inspector
I did not expect to visit Tokyo and have the most amazing Catalan meal I’ve ever had. We made a reservation for 4 on a Friday night and sat at the bar. We were greeted personally by Chef Mateu and he explained in great detail all of the courses from the “Mar y Montanya” tasting menu. Each one was a perfect balance of flavor and size. I am so glad we dined here and we will be coming back the next time we are in Tokyo!

Every dish was so detailed, high quality and amazing taste! You can feel all the passion of the chef. The little baccalà cake brought me back to my childhood in Italy. Thanks !

All dishes are more than perfect!!! Beautiful decoration, taste, harmony… spectacular!! The chef had leaned cooking from his grandmother. His passion is there! So makes such a warm tasting. Also his creation was really detailed and heart full. It totally changed our Spanish cuisine image!

My friend and I truly enjoyed our dining experience here. From start to finish, everything was nothing short of exceptional. Each plate was elegantly presented like a work of art. Literally every dish was cooked to perfection and every bite revealed layers of complex flavors that danced on our palate. They also have a great selection of Spanish wines and I highly recommend the wine pairing on their menu. Chef Mateu’s hands-on approach and warm hospitality, paired with the exquisite Catalan dishes, made for a truly memorable dining experience. I cannot wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights.

Absolute do when in Tokyo when you are fed up of eating Japanese food. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. Very nice waiters and chef. The chef wants us to discover real Spain with a set of delicious 9 course menu and Spanish wine. All was perfectly executed from start to finish. We enjoyed it all!
