Enjoyed birthday dinner here. Food was prepared well and a good value for the price. Pork shank was tender and flavorful, very pleasing. No one had complaints. Service was good. It's a big place that was mostly empty on Tuesday evening, so ambiance was lacking. Would definitely try again.

Came here for Restaurant Week since gf wanted to try it out. Food was surprisingly average... not bad, but not great either. The chicken was dry, the fish was oily, and they were both kind of bland. Very forgettable unfortunately. However, the Apple "crisp" was delicious! It's more like bread pudding cause there's nothing crispy about it, but the subtle sweetness and warm contrasted with the ice cream was spot on. Seems like an okay spot for happy hour though.

I'm a FareStart fan, for all they do and how they transform lives. I'm also a foodie. Maslow's is my dream come true. The food is amazing AND it's helping people. I would truthfully come here and recommend it as a foodie even if it wasn't having such a positive impact on the community, which it is. The ambiance is beautiful and so far people don't know about this gem for it to have a wait either. Only downside is beware that it closes early (at 9) during the week.

Cool location and good food...but the service was slow, even though we were the only table in the whole restaurant and there was a surplus of wait staff. There is an automatic 20% gratuity for all size parties. Happy Hour cocktails are very good, but pricing was confusing - our waiter told us that cocktails were $7 during happy hour, but when the bill came he said it was a mistake and they actually cost $10-$12. The manage fixed the bill, so we paid the quoted price.

What a great experience... I loved the food, the service, and the presentation was amazing. I will definitely be bringing my wife here. The only complaint I have is they make their coleslaw using mayonnaise, and it's kind of heavy. I didn't expect to like it this much.

Beautiful place! Food was decent and little on the expensive side. The cauliflower was delicious. Crispy salmon skin was not crispy and was little dry.

Food was good, and has a very nice atmosphere. Be ready for the 20% Gratuity though... Also service was pretty slow but they might have been understaffed. I had the chicken bacon sandwich which was very good. Wife had the steak salad which was better than my dish.

Edit for new visit: Today’s food really surprised me, super delicious. But I still can’t change the review to higher star: the front desk African American woman is a racist, she was smile to every white people today, but didn’t even give me a look when I said ‘2 please’, she need to be fired. I support farestart because it’s good purpose of inclusive, given people who cannot afford a change to earn a life with learning a new skill, this African American woman’s behavior is definitely not aligned with FareStart’s purpose. 6th time to here, this time I want to give a one star, because the service is horrible. We were sit there and try to catch our breathe, so just ordered drink at first 10 minutes, the waitress come and asked us whether we are ready to order, we said we need more time, she is very impatiently leave and give us white eye, and then later we didn’t finish food yet, she come and try to take the plate away, we said wait, she gave us another white eye, we only stayed 1 and half hour and you know how slow they provide food, so we were pushed to rush to finish food. The most crazy thing is this is dinner, they are not even full. Even though I like the layout of the place, this is horrible place.
