Craft Beer, Wine, and Cocktails Come Together in Carmel Valley | Eater San Diego

"Located adjacent to The Barrel Room, this first satellite tasting room for Mason Ale Works features 20 taps pouring beer brewed at the brewery’s San Marcos and Oceanside locations and a bar stocked with an extensive whiskey selection that will also be used to mix beer-based cocktails. Executive chef Trevor Chappel will run the kitchen, which focuses on shareable plates ranging from bar snacks to gourmet salads and sandwiches and includes cured meats made in an on-site charcuterie room; the charcuterie program—with housemade salumi, prosciutto, and more—should launch soon. The space includes an outdoor patio and private dining area, plus a retail section offering grab-and-go food, Mason Ale Works beer, and other guest bottles." - Candice Woo

Lovely bartender and the tacos in the back were amazing. Got the mango Michelada and some tacos for an amazing Saturday lunch. Great brews and tacos. A lot of space in the back to bring friends and dogs.

Stopped in right after they opened. I ordered the Ribeye and shrimp fries. Delicious! The smoked flavor in the Ribeye was great, shrimp was great, sauce was great. By the time I got to the bottom the fries were still crunchy. Little pricey but I was not disappointed and plan on coming back. I washed it down with a LFG Hazy IPA also delicious! It being just afternoon on a Thursday, there was only a couple other people there. The environment wasn't bad. I've told all my friends and coworkers about this place. See you guys next time!

Loved coming here for the jazz nights on Tuesdays. Starts at 7 pm. They serve food though haven't tried it yet. Lots of different beers, ciders and sours on tap. Also, have a couple options for non alcoholic beer, which was a huge plus! We'll be coming back for more music and drinks

My first time there on the fourth of July weekend. They don't serve outside beer only their own brew. The restaurant in the back is pretty good. Except for their beans, they were dry and slightly under cooked leaving a bit hard. I should have returned them, but didn't.

I called the number for the place this morning they explain to me I was calling the tacos not the brewery. However she explained to me she would pass my message along to the manager on site . We went on Sunday had terrible service from the bartender . We stood there for almost I want to say 15 mins waiting…..just to order beer . Mind you my wife and I waited that long because we were excited to taste the food that our friends kept raving about . There was no line .. bartender seemed not to care about our existence she was to busy talking to what seemed to be her friends. Her friend gave us a dirty look like we were annoying her bartender still didn’t care . This made us leave immediately . I approached the girl that was on the phone outside and told her about the bartender she looked confused and told us she was sorry it happened but did make it clear she was not working behind the bar she was working at the tacos. When we called this morning turned out the girl outside was the girl who answered our phone call she told us she remembered us, very sweet said she would accommodate to us pay for our beer and food on the house if we would return. We won’t be. I never do reviews but for this one I just couldn’t stop thinking about it . People talk about barrio Logan how it’s so cool but the bartender killed the whole experience it seemed like she didn’t even want to be there. We will never be returning here . However we went to ciccia’s italian great service great food . Wished we could of have tried the tacos at the bar .
