Mason Eatery

I'm in love with this place. In a city that parties super late you would think their would be more late night places to eat but you can only Moshi so many times. I've been several times, still haven't tried the pancake challenge but I will soon enough. I had the meat board which was awesome. Chicken liver pate, pork roulette, chicken salad, pastrami and all the meats and pickles are all made fresh in house. I had the pastrami hash which was also fire with a sunny up egg on top with crisp edges. The Ox tail pot pie was also amazing with a surprising amount of Ox tail it was very hearty. Just like Beaker they do a late night happy hour which is awesome, bottle of Rose for $25 bucks can't go wrong. I would definitely recommend it for late night or any hour of the day for that matter. I hope they do good and maybe somewhere in the future decide to stay open till 5am Friday's and Saturdays so I can eat after work. Had to throw that in there in case they're reading these reviews.

Mason Eatery is a great place for Brunch. I would get a reservation because they do get busy rather quickly. They have a variety of foods at reasonable prices with the lowest food item at $6 and the highest at $24. And drinks? They are plenty of options by the bottle and the glass (you can see the pricing below). I’m not sure if they do corkage or not but that’s fine there’s enough alcohol. I went for Brunch on Sunday around 12 and the atmosphere was booming, it died down around 2, so if you want hangout afterwards that’s not a problem. The restaurant was busy with very table being attended to. The staff was amazing, they served us well and was very attentive to our big party of 15. Huge shoutout to Miriam, she really took care of us and even suggested some items to order. The restaurant also put a French toast on the house which was really good by the way. Since we were a party of 15, we ordered a lot of items and repeated some orders. The Mac and Cheese was a repeat order and you can’t go wrong with that as well as the avocado toast that pairs well with the crab. The pancake in my opinion is the best bang for your buck, Mason did the pancake justice, it was a great pancake. The Goopy egg and eggs Benedict were solid out of the egg portions. The fries were great. After eating all of that food, I was hungry and ordered the Wagyu Melt which hit the spot. For the dessert, order the cookie jar it was out of control. If you’re looking for a solid brunch place in Wynwood and want your stomach to be filled with food, then Mason Eatery is your place to be.

Restaurant with good vibes, delicious food and great music- what more can you ask for? We went for brunch and they had a nice variety with even a couple health conscious options. The pancakes are fluffy and tasty 👌🏻

The short rib melt was decent. They forgot to put the cheese on it though and I didn't bother sending it back becuase I already sent it back becuase when I added the egg fried they gave me sunny side up. The egg is necessary for the sandwich to add more "meat" since they use a lot of pesto. But don't get me wrong the pesto is homemade and delicious. Same goes for the bread. Yet the jewel of the plate was the fries which was accompanied with homemade ketchup. I also tasted the oxtail potpie. The flavor waa good but you couldn't find the bacon the oxtail is shredded and dry. The small phyllo dough on top was hard to actually incorporate it with the "soup base". There wasn't enough dough in it. The drinks are wine and beer base and fall short compared to their counterparts in midtown. I would come back for the fries so maybe I'll just stick to something classic to accompany them like a cheeseburger with egg (hoping to get actual fontina cheese this time). Didn't feel much like a brunch place though. More like a breakfast, lunch, dinner space). It's cute inside and refreshing not too high of prices. The fried chicken sandwich also looked good on the plate so might try that with the fries as well next time.

Good food! Prices aren't outrageous but also don't expect a cheap meal. Overall good atmosphere and music. Friendly staff.

This place is pretty good. The food options can be a bit rich but you don't leave disappointed. Our service has always been good.
