Massis Kabob The Original Kabobery

Haven’t ate here in a while. The food was absolutely terrible. Meat was burnt and dry. Grill tomato and pepper were burnt to a crisp. Pita bread was bland. Horrible experience. For what they charge here you think you would get something better. You’re better off going to McDonald’s honestly.

First time for this. Very tempting with the fantastic smell. Kinda love the price, $13-17 per person (exclude drinks), got the big pieces of meat with carbs & veggies. Just missing some sauce, but idk maybe they don't eat it with sauce? Still a great experience, hope to see more of this in many malls food court.

This is my first time in this location- Glendale Galleria food courts. The Lady in the register was very nice and patient- she was smiling, looking at me while talking, giving me information clearly and calmly. Service was fast, accurate order received. The food is always the bomb at Massis Kabob!!!!

Great tasting Persian food! They make the meat fresh right in front of you, and it took only 10 minutes to get our food. It is well priced too -- 2 mains, 3 sides, and 2 drinks came out to $50. Service was friendly, and it was super busy on a Wednesday afternoon.

I was expecting better with more tasty food. It was quite bland. The presentation could be better.

Always a good option for quality and freshness. I feel like its the cleaner option in this food court. Earn points and always a friendly staff.

Had a chicken with salad. (#10). Good meat flavor and abundant fresh veggies. Not much to say. I loved the way kitchen grill displays open for the public to see. Months later came back and had a beef koubideh wrap. Very very good. Fresh cooked meat.

The food is always great & tasty; you can't go wrong in choosing it!! Whenever I come here is my # 1 restauran.

I've been going to Massis Kabob at The Glendale Galleria for as long as I can remember. Not surprising, I just found out that this location has been there since 1976. I mean, if there's a constant in The Glendale Galleria Food Court, it's definitely Massis. (Panda Express & Hot Dog on a Stick are givens since they're mall standards all around the area). The great thing is that you're getting real, very minimally processed food that you can see cooked right in front of you. FOOD: #20 - Chicken Kabob & Beef Koubideh ($18.95 + tax) - 8.7 / 10 A really great choice if you want a "sampler" of what they have to offer. It's a pretty safe choice (who doesn't like chicken & beef? The generously sizable pieces of chicken breast are always, juicy & tender. Grilling over an open spitfire really allows the natural juices to come through. The beef koubideh is like eating tender piece of hamburger meat in the shape of a long sausage link. All served on a generous bed of basmati rice. The single roasted tomato & roasted jalapeño pepper are the perfect accompaniments. This meal comes with a choice of side. I always opt for their hummus because it's perfect for dipping the accompanying pieces of warm pita bread. I highly recommend downloading their app so that you can build-up rewards. (100 Rewards Points get you $5 off. $1 spent = 1 Rewards Point). One thing that I also like about this place is that you can be notified via text that your order is ready - a nice little perk if you don't want to hover around the pick-up area like an annoying vulture (let the staff do their thing), or if you'd like to sit down / check-out other food court spots while waiting.

I tried out this Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food spot at the Glendale Galleria and the quality is what you'd expect from a mall food court. I ordered the Persian Koubideh Chicken plate and it was decent, but could've been better. The Chicken Koubideh was standard, but felt and tasted like something from a frozen meal packet, not freshly cooked even though it looked like the meats were being freshly cooked. The rice to meat ratio was a lot which was common with these types of places. However, the rice was a bit dry. The tomato and pepper were cooked perfectly, so no complaints there. Finally, the cucumber salad was good and provided a fresh and crunchy element to the meal. I do wish that there was some sort of complimentary creamy sauce to pair with the meal since it was overall dry. They did give me some hot sauce upon request which helped, but a creamy sauce would've been better. The food was priced petty good and with tax it was about $15 which wasn't bad compared to the amount of food you get. However, I wish there was more meat. The staff were pretty nice and collected despite a heavy influx of orders. Overall, the experience here could've been better. If I were to visit this food court again, I would opt for other choices.

Massis Kabob is one of the best spots in Glendale Galleria's food court - not only for a quick bite, but for a genuinely healthy and satisfying meal I ordered #10: chicken breast with Greek salad. The chicken was flavorful, though slightly on the dry side. The salad with feta and veggies was absolutely delicious, and the pita bread was fresh and tasty. I really appreciated the extra vinegar they gave me on the side - I used it to dress the salad, and it worked perfectly !! To go with the meal, I also had a Greek yogurt drink which was pleasantly tangy and refreshing. The staff was kind and friendly, although it felt like my order took a bit longer to prepare than expected. Since it's a food court, there were tons of open tables around, and I was able to find a seat right away. Overall, solid experience and a great option for fresh, Mediterranean-style food at the mall. It's alright. I had the beef and lamb and honestly it wasn't very well spiced. A bit bland. The cooking was fine but I would have preferred more seasonings. The rice was tasty and I did really like the Shirazi salad that comes with it. But overall I wasn't too impressed.

A Big Bright Beautiful and CLEAN location in the heart of Downtown Glendale, Ca. State of the Art facility. A lot of Menu Choices. Super Fast Service. Very attentive floor staff. The place exudes Quality with a Minimalist touch. The Food is the Star! Absolutely delicious and natural tasting, not a lot of Salt. The setting is Gorgeous to compliment the Food and the experience. Bravo! Well Done. I will be Back!!!

Food was lukewarm warm and nothing special. Service is fine. Ambiance is just like a fast food place. All plastic silverware and paper plates. Prices are low in comparison with today's prices. However, it is not a place I go back again.

Delicious, worth price for the lunch. Whenever I shop at the Galleria mall, I eat the chicken kabob. Any races can enjoy the food.

Massis Kabob never disappoints! The portions are generous, the meat is always tender and flavorful, and the rice is perfectly cooked. Their chicken kabob and beef lula are my favorites. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. Great spot for a quick meal or takeout!

On my last review I have complained but this is way out of the line. I got my order as usual. Sat down to eat and took couple of bites when I realized something was off looking on the bean salad. I took it out, it was wrinkled cockroach inside the bean salad which it was marinated in it and all the juices probably oozes out in it. You can't unsee or undo this, this was the most disgusting thing ever. I threw up right in that plate where the food was. Then contacted the manager at the store and send the photo. I don't understand the approach of the people, all that she said at first I will refund your bean salad. I mean all uou can think of is the bean salad? I don't care about your bean nor any compensation. You can't undo what I went through. If there was a no star i would have gave no start.

We were shopping in the area and tried their beef kabob, the portion was good. Reasonable price and good food.

My favorite Kabob place! staff are friendly, portions of food are huge , Ambiance is casual . I love their chicken breast kabob which comes with rice and roasted tomato and Jalapeño and cucumber salad. I can eat this everyday .

Well I had to stop by the Glendale Galleria to drop off something at a friend's s store. And thought I'd rather get some food before I had to sit in an hour of traffic on way home. How about some Persian food. Walk up to the counter where there are at least six people standing around, not serving, not plating. Just sort of hanging. Well are you going to help me? Wait for even a hello. Was about to go somewhere else when finally they ask for my order. I should have taken that as a sign. Because the food was also very mid. Considering that this is the valley where there are plenty of excellent Persian restaurants this place should have been on point but it was not and I will not be coming back

Uhhh, the customer service was just fine, but the food, not so much. There were 3 of us, and none of us enjoyed it. Speaking for MYSELF, it was just not it. We each ordered different meals, so I tried all of them. I chose this place because the line was so long, and while we were staring at the menu, a "regular" actually told us the food was very good. The line kept growing as we ordered, and while we sat down to wait, so I was excited to try it for the first time. I'm sorry that it lead to disappointment, but I will try it again, perhaps a different time of day- I don't know. Once I do, I will update this review, assuming I will have a better experience.

First time trying this in Glendale but I've had it before at another location. Always delicious everywhere I've tried them. My favorite is the chicken kabob with rice, hummus, mixed salad. I definitely recommend if you haven't tried! The service is good. The ambiance is fast food style, You order and wait to pick it up. It's located inside the galleria in the food court area. There are places to sit down and eat.

usually the line is long, but that's only because the food is so fresh and super yummy. I usually stop and get my #14 on the way home from work and or when my mom calls me to pick her up her favorite #10. its well worth the wait!

The chicken koobideh was tender and flavorful. serving it over basmati rice was ideal. The rice itself was very tasty and well cooked. To be able to enjoy this inside of a mall is special

Lamb skewers were delicious but the rice was extremely dry. It took about 15 minutes to make my food so that was pretty much half of my lunch gone. Order ahead of time!

For the price it's pretty good. But taste-wise, I think they can do better. They give plenty of food for around a $11 plate. I literally had another Mediterranean place a couple of days ago and it was around $16 for a veggie plate. Today's veggie plate, they gave me a ton of hummus and veggies and more falafels too. The falafel itself was pretty dry but at least they had sauce that came with it. But the sauce could be better too. I felt like everything was kinda plain and bland for the most part. Overall everything was just ok. It was filling though, but just wish it tasted better.

04/18/25 first timers and we were surprised on how good the food was. This location is in a food court at the mall. Dining is shared with many other restaurants. We ordered the Lamb combo plate. It's we good. We also ordered large hummus with pita. We would come back.

Beef koubideh feels a little bit dry, but everything else is just nice. Fish is fresh and cook right. Order taking is fast and commendable. As for ambiance, need to note this is a crowded food hall in Galleria Glendale so finding clean table is a little bit of a challenge.

Whenever I visit the Glendale Galleria Mall, Massis Kebab is my preferred destination for satisfying my cravings for Mediterranean kebab. The meat is exceptionally tender and juicy.

He went above and beyond to assist my wife and I when we had the chance to stop by the Glendale Galleria to take care of some last minute shopping. Food was delicious, but ultimately was very impressed by Matthew over at Massis Kabob.

I was visiting the galleria and after all the shopping we headed to the food court. We landed at Massis Kabob for the first time. Right away the grill behind the glass wall Captivated our attention. I got in line and Noel assisted us in taking our order. We were very indecisive of what to get and he quickly provided us with options. He was very well mannered and friendly which just added to the great experience. Attentive to detail he listened to what we were in the mood for and he suggested for no. 16. He said it was one of the most popular dishes and we would definitely love it. So we ordered it. Let me tell you, it was delicious a day!!! An overall 10 out of 10 experience Thank you Noel and your amazing service.
