Hands down the best baked goods I’ve had in my LIFE. I stumbled upon their website, tried some croissants, and now order something at every justifiable occasion. It’s a small operation, and you can tell everything is made with such care and deliberation. The combination of flavors, textures and artistry are all nothing short of perfection. Look y’all, I don’t leave many Google reviews. But this place is IT. Do yourself a favor and order something, literally anything. You won’t be sorry.

incredible!! Not only are the croissants absolutely gorgeous with insane lamination, but there’s so much care put into the balance of flavors and textures. The chocolate croissant wasn’t overly intense, giving the taste of dark chocolate without being too bitter. The pistachio cherry was my favorite; i loved the pistachio cream so much and the bits of cherry inside. The knafeh was an absolute party of crisp pastry, creamy and lightly tangy cheese, and delicate rose. And they were all not too sweet! Ordering was easy and the size and price are incredibly reasonable. I want to try everything on the menu!!!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I can’t believe this phenomenal bakery is right in the neighborhood. The pastries were perfectly sweet without being overpowering, and the quality was outstanding. We also loved the za’atar and labne bread — don’t sleep on the savory options!

I ordered whole weat with rye and spelt flour bread. It is really sourdough and tasty bread. My husband makes it as well sometimes and we see the professionalism. Thank you and I highly recommend!

OMG! I ordered 8 of the bundles of 6 for my office to celebrate "National Croissant Day". Wow! First of all - they're art just by looking at them - we didn't want to cut into them they were so beautiful; Secondly, every one of them was a hit - amazing flavor - and some of my coworkers had their favorites, but overall they exceeded our expectations!! We hope to see Chef Michaeli open a brick/mortar bakery, but until then we will order more through her online store!!! A+ 100 out of 10!

Tried a variety of croissants from this small business through pre-order, and I must say, the presentation was absolutely top-notch. The chocolate and cherry croissants stood out in particular with rich, satisfying flavors. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey. Hope, they open a brick-and-mortar shop.

I've ordered from Matok a few times now and everything has been delicious! I think it is hands down one of, if not the best, bakery in Austin. Everything is beautifully made and presented so croissants and cakes look like works of art but still taste phenomenal. I highly recommend trying them if you get a chance.

Best pastries in town and possibly Texas! Can’t say enough great things about this baker, they are amazing and create unique pastries that don’t just taste amazing but you couldn’t find anywhere else in town. We did the 6 piece taster to try out the different pastries and each were amazing! Especially the raspberry rose pastry. Was super flaky on top by a soft almost sponge cake in the middle. If you choose to try this spot, which you should, you’ll need to order online and then matok will text to coordinate your pickup order. Since they run out of their home. I’d recommend placing orders a couple days before you need them, just to give them time to get things ready and make sure you get the best pastry possible.

The truth about experience is it will always remain subjective and cumulative in its sole explorer. Take this as you will, but should I never eat another cookie for the rest of my life, let Matok be its maker. These pastries are simply otherworldly! Michal is an expert artisan trained the old-world way by apprenticeship in New York, New Orleans, and Houston, bringing pastries that are exquisitely beautiful as they are delicious to Austin. Made-to-order then picked up until they open a storefront, rush and get them NOW before the lines and selling out begins. A mix bundle allows you to choose 3 pastries to sample, cookies come in packages of 3-8, cakes and breads are unreal, with vegan & gluten-free options throughout. A family member recommended this bakery and patisserie so decided to try it. Was certainly not disappointed. The taste is as wonderful as the presentation and the look. Very artistic with premium ingredients which would appeal to most tastes. I plan on trying other items for sure. Their ordering system is very seamless and the pick up is very convenient. It doesn't hurt that they are 10 minutes away from me
