17 Phoenix Restaurants With Fantastic Burgers

"Breakfast may be the raison d’être at Matt’s, but the Big Butter Burger is a darned good reason to come for lunch. Niman Ranch beef patties are grilled in butter, topped with American cheese (or Point Reyes blue for an extra $1.25) and served with a thick slice of beefsteak tomato and fresh lettuce. Simple and delicious. Customers who crave something more ornate opt for the Hickory Burger, topped with griddled Canadian bacon, shredded Wisconsin cheddar, diced onion, and their own barbecue sauce." - Nikki Buchanan

Not amped about much in Phoenix but go to this place for breakfast. It’s sort of a thing; Guy Fierri has most definitely eaten here. But it’s actually really good, and moreover, they have the best hot sauce we’ve ever had. We buy a bottle to take home and are already almost done with it.

Google
Came here to say that the food was delicious , I chose this spot for my birthday breakfast spot after the airport. Nice employees and clean including the restroom. Honey strawberry lemonade was so delicious. I don’t even like lemonade but 10/10.

Google
Nice airy place with quick attentive service. We ordered the waffle and the avocado toast. When you ask for the poached egg, they bring it in the little cup. I asked for my waffle without the butter on top, and some strawberry jam on the side. Yum. The bacon is really good - chewy, salty, sweet. The coffee is $3.99 with free unendless refills. We really liked this place.

Google
Friendly service, great vibe. Not your traditional diner breakfast. I had “The Skinny” tasted great and perfect if you’re avoiding carbs. My daughter had the avocado toast. We are from out of state but I would come here again when we come back.

Yesterday I almost expelled my stomachs holdings, thank the heavens for ginger tea. This was my first meal of the day but who knew I should have buffered my stomach…for breakfast. I ordered The Hog n Chick and got a side order of one pancake to give it a try. I rarely give one star reviews because I trend positive but food causing stomach upset is a good enough reason imo. The Food, The Bad and The Ugly The Food: The sourdough bread, the pancake sample I ordered and the strawberry preserves were very good. The pancake in particular was nice and fluffy with a semi-sweet taste. There was ample and free parking for those concerned, the waitress that brought my food was attentive and nice, the checkout is modern and efficient and the restaurant looked clean and there’s a nice little patio if you fancied dining al fresco. I can’t elaborate further because I didn’t stay long as it was a pick-up and I didn’t get a chance to check out the restroom. The food was seemingly prepared quickly, I ordered it while sitting at Sally Beauty Supply up the street from the restaurant and by the time I arrived it was done. I can only hope it wasn’t an old order that had sat then was given to me…although that would explain a lot. The Bad: The eggs, while cooked expertly, were completely tasteless and bland. The Ugly: The hash-browns were hard as a rock, tasted like what I assume clay would and served in the form of a brick…fitting I suppose. They were extremely greasy and probably the main culprit for my roiling stomach. I was super excited to try the sausage patties after reading the delicious description on their menu. Unfortunately, they fell flat…literally, they were flat, tasteless, dried out hockey pucks. It’s a shame because I was excited to try the food here after my stepdad saw it on YouTube and suggested it to me. I really wanted to make this place a breakfast staple, especially because it’s conveniently located in downtown Phoenix or Biltmore. However, after this experience, I will not be returning. I abhor falling ill as an adult, regardless of the cause. Thankfully, this only cost me $22 and not a doctor’s visit. There are two kinds of people in the world, my friend: Those with a stomach made of steel, and the people who have the job of making the Peptobismol and Kaopectate for those who don’t.

Google
Just a regular diner type. Food was nice but nothing special. Looks like a better spot for families than couples or smaller groups. Also, not a fast meal, more of a relaxed feel.

Google
Their breakfast is really good! Their prices are just as good! Take a look at what I got. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Got simple bacon and eggs..... great bacon, mediocre eggs(pale yolks and apparently overmedium has no meaning). Incredible wheat toast and homemade strawberry jam. Good hashbrowns. Slow service. Location in a strip center was actually cute and well done. Better than hotel breakfast but not terribly inspired.

Google
I visited this MBB location today, right as they opened. The restaurant was quiet, empty, and clean! My girlfriend and I were greeted immediately and placed our orders. I got the waffle and bacon with a raspberry honey lemonade, and she got the oatmeal with eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. All our food was hot and delicious!

Yelp
Met a business colleague here for breakfast and it was her first time going to one of these locations. As always, it was very busy, and the parking at this location is a bit of a challenge not too bad. The service was a little slower than I would like however our server was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh, and like all items here very delicious. We had the first table by the door which wasn't the greatest because I had people at my back almost the entire time I was eating. Not a major issue but I would certainly try to pick a different table in the future.

Yelp
Pro's and Cons... Would I go back and could I recommend it? Yes. Outstanding design, food, restaurant wonderment, stylish uniqueness? No. Memorable? Only one thing stands out for me and it was written on the back of their menu! **All things in this restaurant 'chain', are ALL locally procured items, supposedly the freshest of ingredients, including their coffee, and they 'do not own a microwave or a freezer'?! Who does that today? LOL. So putting those well thought out concepts up front in this review, the food was unfortunately, nothing to report about, truly. We looked hard. For some reasons, even though our meals came out rather quickly, the toast most of the hot items, weren't really warm OR hot. Hash browns were oily and eggs pretty runny. Another dish (Avocado Toast) seemed okay but a bit bulk-ish to get into my fellow person's (adult sized) mouth. Sadly, the coffee wasn't inspire-able either to any degree as well and the only flavored creamers was/were half & half. Our waitress seemed dislocated to check on us and only came back once. Overall, this restaurant's cornerstones are excellent. The food production presented to the table, quality, and overall restaurant presentation were lacking. I'd give another location a second attempt but these styled restaurants with the eco-conscious formulas, should have some incredible taste to the dishes; they didn't. I mean, with locally grown, sustainable products from local vendors, I'd hope they'd have a smash hit for local flavor that tells a tale, draws the crowds for breakfast or lunch, but they don't. I earnestly look for the Foody 'Niches' that inspire and draw you - the READER into a valid spot that you can enjoy from an honest reflection. This place really didn't do that. It was almost a sleep at the wheel and surprisingly at one of THE most wealthiest spots in Phoenix to boot... So, the food was uninspiring, but I will absolutely CREDIT them for the local-vendor-to-the-table ensemble that they've created. For the owners, please consider an offer to review and improve this location, it could use a hearty revamp. Cheers.

Yelp
Such a solid brunch spot. I love the casualness and home-feel vibe. The Chick & Hog is my go to! The pork loin chop is so tender and juicy! The house potatoes are where it is at and get the sourdough toast with preserves. Service is great and friendly!

Yelp
The staff were friendly and the food came out fast. The food was a little blander then I or the wife like. The standouts of our breakfast was the pepper bacon coffee and homemade strawberry jam. The main courses just seem to lack the pop of flavor we were use to at other breakfast establishments.
google avatar

Yelp
The location is really small so I don't recommend larger parties. We sat at the window which was perfect for 2. I had the omelette with onions and pepper, potatoes, and chicken sausage. Everything was delicious. Our food came out quick and our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations

Yelp
It was a Monday morning in Paradise Valley and there was a wait. That tells you something about the reputation. All the items fall right into place. Servers: they all pitchin to make you feel special. The food is hot and just as you might hope it would be. On the other hand, it's a tad threadbare. Afterall, it is busy and likely not the time to primp. 2 out of 3 makes a trip there still a must.

Yelp
Finally decided to try MBB out. Don't know what took so long to try out a diners drive-ins and dives pick. We were able to be seated immediately, we got to the restaurant around noon. So the morning rush was pretty much over. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the Saturday morning scramble special. A three egg scramble with pork tenderloin, organic spinach and have already cheese I believe? Hash browns and homemade sourdough toast. Oh and I better not forget the homemade blueberry preserves. The meal was delicious The preserves were perfect The bread was delicious too. The home fries were perfectly prepared with rosemary. If I had one thing that kept me from giving this restaurant five stars they would be I felt like there could have been more pork tenderloin in the scramble. I'm not sure I came across anything significant as far as pork tenderloin was concerned in my scramble. I won't let that stop me from trying them again. The menu looks incredible.

Yelp
We tried to go to this location in dt phx but it was so busy. A year later we see one in Scottsdale and I didn't know what to expect. I was very impressed with the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. Walk ins welcome that's for sure. I got the chop and the chick with egg whites. I stg I got 4 egg whites - massive pile of egg whites. Thank you I needed the protein. Everything was cooked to perfection - no notes and worth the wait

Yelp
While in town my best friend and his family took me to Matt's Big Breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Their Smashed Avocado Toast was the bomb!! Only downside is the long wait especially during the weekend. Can't wait to try them again soon! Cheers!

Yelp
Was nearby and came to try their breakfast got their Thursday special of eggs Benedict was super delicious. Got an ice tea as well but for me tasted medicinal. But not bad service was great and the environment was chill. Overall not a bad place for breakfast two people spent a little over 30 bucks

Yelp
Matt's Big Breakfast is truly a gem! The portion sizes are generous, the food is incredibly fresh, and everything is served promptly. The servers go above and beyond, offering friendly and accommodating service that makes the experience even better. We'll definitely be returning to Matt's, and if you're a fan of blueberry pancakes, I highly recommend giving them a try--they're absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Quick brunch at Matt's this morning! Service was quick and I appreciated them coming by to check in on us and refill our waters. It's perfect place to grab breakfast/brunch after a night out. The food was a bit greasier and texture a little dry than I like but when I'm in a mood for greasy food, I know this place will hit the spot. I'll have to try their freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade next time!

Yelp
Very bright white restaurant. We went later weekday morning. Seemed to be only 1 server but not so many people. Coffee is excellent from a local roaster. Food was good quality but Surprised it took more than 15 minutes to arrive which I thought was slow for 2 egg entrees. Close to $60 for 2 which I thought was pricey for a breakfast sandwich and omelette, coffee and OJ.

Yelp
I don't know how this location can be so different from the downtown and airport location. We dined here Thursday morning around 9:00 and it wasn't crowded. We decided this location because my mom was staying at a nearby hotel. My sister and I ordered our usual: omelette with sautéed onion and American cheese. The omelettes were warm at best, the cheese was not thoroughly melted and the onions were beyond sautéed, they were brown and mushy. We both felt unwell later in the day. I'm not saying food poisoning but it was the only thing we both ate that was the same. I'm not writing this review to be difficult or mean. I writing to offer constructive feedback. The quality of food should be consistent regardless of the location. I will not be returning to this location. Ever. I don't remember the name of our waitress but she was very nice.

Yelp
Was in town for a wedding. I dropped my girlfriend off for a hair appointment and decided to grab a quick lunch. A friend told me about this place and when I saw it was nearby I knew I had to try it! I walked in only 10 minutes before they were closing, not realizing until I got there. I told them I just wanted to check it out and maybe grab a menu to-go, but the manager and servers insisted I stay and eat. They really made me feel welcome, even though I felt bad to order food so close to closing. I was looking over the menu when the server suggested the daily specials. He mentioned a chorizo omelette with jalapeños that sounded so good I knew I had to try it! I was NOT disappointed that I took his advice. The manager checked on me to make sure I was good while I waited for my food. All the staff members were really nice and accommodating. Got my meal and it was hot, fresh, and delicious! Just the right amount of spice though I did still add a little Tapatio just to make sure. The chorizo is locally sourced with a good kick, the jalapeños added to the kick. Got hash browns on the side which were crispy and always go perfectly with some ketchup. I heard they have really good bacon so I had to try it. It was very fresh, hot, peppered, and thick. Definitely worth having either on the side or in any dish! I would love to come back some time when I'm in the area to try their weekly special. Thanks to the staff for making me feel so welcome.

Yelp
No complaints! Got here was sat promptly. Server was good and prompt. Pancakes were good! Place was clean and we were in and out!

Yelp
Met my family for breakfast. Always fast and fresh food! Our server was quick and attentive at first but then quickly forgot about us and we never got our drinks refilled or asked how we were enjoying our yummy breakfast. This was unfortunate because their coffee is awesome. However, one drink experience won't make or break it for me because they continually make great food at a reasonable price and I will be back! YUM!
google avatar

Yelp
Went with a friend on a Saturday morning. There was already 2 parties waiting ahead of us, but we still only waited about 15 mins. I like that they actually have outdoor seating for those waiting. I ordered an omelette and it was basically build-your-own, but she kept omitting one of my ingredients. I tried to add 3 different things, but she repeated it twice with just two items (lol, different two each time), so I just let it be. I'm one of those..."it must be a sign" people. No complaints about the food. The drink girl stayed on top of my drink refills, and if you have read any of my reviews, I average about 4 iced teas wherever I go. A lot of times, it is mostly ice, though, so don't judge me. I was pleased with everything: service, food, and cleanliness of establishment. I would eat here again. I would recommend this place to others.

Yelp
I don't know who Matt is but I sure do like his smashed avocado toast with poached egg and a side of bacon So so good

Yelp
This was the best breakfast I have had here in downtown Phoenix. I had 'The Hog & Chick' very good food. Coffee is good. Service is very friendly and prompt. This place gets busy but they still do a great job. My highest breakfast recommendation!!

Sharon H.

Yelp
I was alone and was sat at the exact time as a table for 2 and a table for 5. They were done eating when I received my breakfast. I had ordered a cheese omelette. They used cheese slices on the omelette and I would bet it was a private label cheese. Too much and didn't taste good at all. The wait staff and host were very nice, but I definitely wouldn't recommend a cheese omelette'
google avatar

Yelp
I have now visited this particular Matt's restaurant at least 10 times over the past 7 years and never have I been disappointed. Food is always hot and the staff is always exceptional. If I lived in AZ I would surely be a regular at Matt's; best breakfast restaurant around. Please bring one to the SF Bay Area, LOL!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
Food was fantastic! I was able to have the cheese omelette with the potatoes made special and gluten free! We had more than one server which was a new concept, however they were all friendly and willing to help! It is a smaller place however didn't feel overly crowded. We had a table in the back and just enough space for good conversation. The bacon was without a doubt the best we have had. I will 100% return.
google avatar

Lenny L.

Yelp
Food was good overall but don't understand why you can't substitute the bacon and waffle with sausage? It's the same price!! But they wanted to charge me more if I substituted. Doesn't make any sense! Server tells me it's the rules and she doesn't make them! What?? Other better places in the area to eat breakfast, try Broken Yoke!, better portions and they don't mind substituting!
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
I liked Matt's Big Breakfast! I got the breakfast burrito which was huge and loaded with tons of sausage (which I substituted instead of the chorizo) and jalapeños which I loved. Our servers were awesome and super kind. I wish they had more outside seating or that it didn't feel so cramped inside. I really liked it overall and will be back.
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
It's Matt's, of course it's good! This location is no exception. I've eaten here a few times and gotten take out. It's good either way. The waffle is my go to, it comes with butter and real maple syrup... and bacon.... Yum!
google avatar

S W.

Yelp
At the 32nd St & Camelback Rd location, ordered the "cheese" omelet which had hardly any cheese and was very dry. The hash browns were over cooked. I was only doing take out so when I got there, the ambiance is not one I'd want to sit in for full service. It's amazing that these places add in the auto tip process for take out and then to take to the office and be so disappointed. The check out person was friendly however I will not eat here again.
google avatar

Peggy G.

Yelp
okay. admittedly, I went for lunch, not breakfast. my favorite comfort lunch is a BLT. I mean, it's pretty hard to mess it up ... unless you put cold, thick, jerky-like pepper bacon on it ... and the menu makes no mention of PEPPER. no go for me. I dropped this to 2 stars for management's apparent "so what" attitude.

Damien P.

Yelp
Excellent spot ! Plenty of food. Fast friendly service. Plenty of parking and reasonable prices. What else do you need ?!
google avatar

Yelp
Our friends recommended Matts Big Breakfast as they have been coming here for six years whenever they visit Phoenix. So we had to try it out and we were absolutely pleased. We were seated right away and this place was alive with energy. I have to tell you they have the best bacon I have ever tasted. It was unbelievably delicious and cooked exactly as I ordered it. The blueberry pancakes were fantastic! My wife had the Hog and Chick breakfast and she loved it! She said the sausage was on point and the eggs were delicious and she loved the rosemary potatoes. Our server was named Krista. They have a team server system and we never wanted for anything. Such amazing service!! Randy, the manager, came by to check on us. We had a nice chat with him when we checked out. He is such a nice man. He really cares about the service, the food, his people and the customers. Matt's Big Breakfast is special!! Just GO! We'll be back every time we're in town.
google avatar

Kiley S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years now, and it's my favorite breakfast in town by far. The menu is simple, but they do every single thing perfectly, and you can tell the food quality is high. The bacon is the best I've ever had, the hash browns are always crispy yet soft, and the homemade preserves elevate the noble bread toast to another level. I also love that they always have a special on the menu in case you feel like trying something new! (The steak and eggs on Sunday is especially delicious). The service is on point as well! The servers are always attentive and efficient, and the manager, Randy, is so hospitable. I appreciate that I never have to ask for more coffee or water, and that once we're done eating, the plates are cleared right away. Little things like that make such a big difference. This will continue to be my go to breakfast spot!
google avatar

Justin B.

Yelp
Great meal, quick service, fair prices for the amount of food we got. We tried the avocado toast and the cheese omelet; basic stuff, but elevated with high-quality ingredients and some of the best hash I've had. I wish they had mimosas, but that's my problem and not theirs!
google avatar

Amber A.

Yelp
I'm really big on customer service and they have it. Dominic, our server was very good and attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu. I received some meat in my omelet and I don't eat meat and I didn't make a big deal of it, I just picked it out, but the manager who was amazing made it right. Hands down, they have the best pancakes I've had in a king while.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with my kiddo. There's lots of parking, it shares a parking lot with a major grocery store. It's nice because bad parking situations will deter me from trying new places almost every time. Service was friendly and fast. Zero complaints about it. I got the special, which was awesome, the server recommended it. It was A scramble with little bell pepper slices with sausage and a little bit of cheese. It came with hash browns and thick toast. It was under seasoned, which totally fine bc they had s+p on the table. I prefer my hash browns crispier but they were still good. The eggs didn't have too much cheese which normally I'm concerned about. It was the *exact* amount of cheese I like on my eggs. Good job bruh. The eggs were fluffy but not overdone. A lot of brunch places overcook their eggs but not my dish. The sourdough toast was good. I'm not sure if they make it in house, but they make their strawberry preserves in house. The toast was thiccc,(yes I know how to spell thick) and had a nice chew to it. The strawberry preserves were good but not "wow". Judging from the flavor and color, I think it did not have lemon in it, but a touch of lemon would brighten it up just a bit. I think a tiny bit would punch it up a notch. However, it was still tasty, not overly sweet. 10/10 would eat it again. Biggest had the cheese omelet, chose cheddar cheese and added sausage. She gave me a bite. It was pretty good. I think her eggs were just a touch overdone. Probably just by the "carryover" cooking. She liked it a lot though and ate the whole thing. Okay. Their hot sauce....the server said, it comes out fast if you use it. Y'all need to use it. It wasn't super "hot" but it has a good depth of flavor and adds dimension to your dish. I put a lot on, no spicy regrets. Totally awesome. I kinda wished I bought a bottle for my house. But next time...bc I will totally be back.

Yelp
My husband had the day off so we ventured out to Matt's Big Breakfast on Camelback around 8:00 AM Tuesday. We found a table fine, not too busy when we arrived but it certainly picked up. The following is not a criticism just a list of observations. I do understand kitchen staff have off days: We ordered two iced teas (having already had more coffee than needed), the lemons that were in our teas were at least two days cut. I removed mine because i don't want lemon anyway. We both ordered the Tuesday Special, Biscuits and Gravy. I admit I grew up where that is a staple so I am a little particular. I asked for the gravy to be served on the side. Alas that was not to be, the waiter offered to take it back but I wasn't going to die because the gravy was on the biscuit. The gravy was rather good if not a little tepid. The biscuit was extra crispy (?) but nice. The eggs and home fries were very good. I ordered a side of sausage patties as I am a sausage freak. Two patties came out that were smashed so thin and way overcooked. I ate the sausage as with the rest I wasn't going to die because the sausage was overcooked. Service was great. We have eaten here several times and the food is always good. I hope this was a one-off situation. I rated it a 4 for this time. All others have been a 5. Thanks for serving a great breakfast to Phoenix.

Yelp
I was super excited to come here to try out the food based on yelp reviews. It was within walking distance from my hotel and I got there right in the morning when they opened. The Big Papa Burrito was massive and very delicious. Coffee was mediocre but they had almond milk which was nice. I ordered a sliced avocado and it was $3 for half an avocado - guess that's the convenience fee. The detractors for the stars was for the lack of service by Michelle. She was unfriendly and I had to ask for refills and such.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
Just a solid breakfast establishment. No frills, no wild concoctions or gimmicks. Simply good, hearty breakfast food at a reasonable price. Servers were quick, efficient and friendly. Had the hog and chick with a side of pancakes. The bacon was phenomenal and the pancakes were tasty too. Tucked back in the corner of a strip mall but would definitely recommend this spot to those that are worried about the "trendy" spots.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Great looking place with lovely staff, Matt's Big Breakfast has really big hot tea prices. $3.75 seems a little steep (a little pun intended) With regards to breakfast, it was ok. I had the egg salami scramble. Was on the bland side. My husband had the cheese omelet, which was lacking in cheese. Nothing that couldn't be done at home.

Horacio P.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and the breakfast is always excellent. I had the omelet this time and it was delicious, decent size and everything inside was cooked just right. The service is also excellent they keep your coffee full and even though I came at a busy time I didn't have to wait long for my food.

Yelp
Matt's is a long time staple of the central Phoenix area. Can't go wrong with stopping here for a quick casual Sunday AM bite to eat. Fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service and a lively atmosphere. Classic and simple.
google avatar

Henry K.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Monday mid-morning with the place about 75% full and self seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Ambiance is casual with a good mix of young, though more of old. Food and value was about what I expected from a breakfast chain. The strawberry jam is delicious/not too sweet, IMO the best part of the meal.

Yelp
Different as night and day. Downtown location was crowded (and a more diverse crowd). We had a 30-minute wait but once we were seated service was prompt. Camelback location, not so much. When we arrived on 4/16/24 all the customers were white. After we sat down, two other white parties arrived. They were promptly provided with water, coffee and their orders were taken before anyone took our order or brought drinks. We were the only Black people in the restaurant which puts thoughts in my mind. Given the demographics of the area (32nd St. & Camelback) vs downtown I'll draw my own conclusions. When the food arrived my bacon was lagging behind. I was halfway done with my meal when the bacon arrived. I don't recall the waiter's name but he had a curly afro. My tip was commensurate with his service. We probably won't be back.
google avatar

Jim R.

Yelp
We stopped in on a quiet Tuesday morning around 8 and it wasn't too busy. We were told to sit anywhere we liked. The modest menu has all the basics and more. My wife enjoyed the thick cut avocado toast with a poached egg while I savored the malted waffles with thick cut peppered bacon. Both entrees were around $10 each. Another bonus was the fresh squeezed OJ (squeezed on site from the looks of it)-super fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. The flimsy metal chairs and polished concrete floor made it a touch noisy but with so few people, wasn't much of an issue. Service was friendly and efficient. Recommend

Yelp
Stop by for a quick bite to eat on the way to a meeting chose this place because of the guy who owns it I always see him at the Phoenician Hotel and he's always on the food channel with Guy Fieri. The atmosphere is very upbeat menu is to the point? there are limited vegetarian options and Limited turkey options for sides for breakfast. I had hashbrowns and sausage the big plus was that the sausage patties looked handmade and were very good hashbrowns were decent the orange juice was extremely good. One of my let downs was they don't have any flavored cream for coffee only offered almond milk and whole milk to go with your coffee. Staff is nice place was nice but not necessarily a place I would revisit because of the coffee situation my main thing when I get breakfast is to enjoy coffee but the food was good and the atmosphere was great.

Yelp
Just not what it used to be. We ordered two breakfast items and one lunch. Plus three small OJ's which came to over $100, because we had it delivered. Still, paying that much for not great food sucks. I had the club. Smallest piece of bread so basically an open faced sandwich. Lettuce was brown and wilted and bacon, normally great, was terrible. Cold, hard bacon fat basically. The breakfast sandwich was terribly assembled and the bread tasted stale. The OJ was good. Pretty disappointing for that price.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday around 11am and got seated right away. Restaurant is always busy even in this heat! I got the Hog & Chick, asked for my eggs scrambled and unfortunately they were a little over cooked for my liking, however the bacon and toast/jam made up for it. The toast was thick and the Jam was so yummy. Idk what it's in the bacon but that was some of the best bacon I've had at a local chain restaurant. The coffee was very strong, but service and food came out quick.

Yelp
E.Camelback location. Our party of 6 was seated immediately, not bad for 9am on a Saturday. People were waiting when we left. I will say the Service was excellent, staff very attentive. The issue was the food. The food mediocre. Every person at table complained of eggs. I have posted a picture of my over medium eggs, boy they were slimy. Pork chop, seared beautifully but very tough and dry. Salami scramble had very hard salami and not a great flavor. Hash browns were crispy on outside and raw inside. The sour dough toast was yummy. We literally had 5 different meals ordered out of the 6 of us and everyone was disappointed with their meal. The meal options all looked great on paper but definitely didn't taste great. This restaurant is off our list. I feel bad for review as staff was so attentive, so was it the recipes? quality of food? or a bad cook ?

Yelp
The hog and chick is where it's at! If there's one thing in the menu you have to try that you can't get anywhere else it's the peppered bacon and the sour dough toast. It's very unique here. The toast is very think and they have the best jam. And the bacon is thick cut and very peppery. The rest is pretty classic shredded hash browns. Eggs how you like them. They have great service as well.
