Google
Nice place, a bit loud but that was ok. Margaritas were good, I prefer rocks but the frozen was better. Food was good, very large portions.

Google
The food was pretty good and they have a few quality veggie items on their menu. It is an alright location for vegans. The food was pretty tasty for the most part but the guac is a bit bland. The patio is nice and for being on south lamar is is not overly distracting. The service was quick and friendly.

I got the beef fajitas for one. The beef tasted like worcesterchire sauce. More onions and peppers than meat. The hibiscus tea was good. The salsa is very mild and bland, I like it spicy. $17.50 kind of expensive for the small portion of meat. I thought the queso was too expensive so I didn't get it. Waiter was decent brought me extra salsa and a refill.

I can't believe I didn't take pictures! 🤦It was probably because I was so hungry! I hadn't been here in a few years since I've moved away. However, let me tell you that their Enchiladas were still the same amazing flavor. I recommend this dish every time. 🤌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Our weekly go-to! Great food, dog-friendly patio and Emilio makes the best margaritas! The staff is wonderful and it is so nice to see other regulars every week.

Google
The food was excellent, as always. Our server was good and I was super impressed by the runner/busser. The restaurant was just filthy. The bathrooms were like a dive bar. So drippy and gross. There was a random bucket in the middle of the restaurant with yellow liquid. Yuck.

Google
The server and ppl where great when I went in the morning for breakfast. They where fast and attentive! The only issue was the food. I’m pretty open and not picky about food, but this had to have been the worst food I’ve had in a restaurant. I would not go here again due to it. The tortillas where bland and the sauce was tasteless.

My wife and I stopped in here on a Saturday for some lunch. The parking lot was full, and the restaurant was relatively crowded... We had a brief wait. My wife enjoyed a meal with cheese enchiladas, rice and beans and a taco. I had their fajita salad with combination chicken and beef. You receive complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were very tasty, and my wife enjoyed her meal. I enjoyed the generous portion fajita salad including the jalapeno ranch dressing. The only reason I have not rated at 5 Stars was the service was slow at times...perhaps because they were busy? Not sure....but we did enjoy the food. Prices are reasonable, our meal including two soft drinks was $30.25 before tip.

Yelp
Fits the bill for casual Tex Mex that his hearty, filling, quick and affordable. When you sit down chips and salsa are on the table before you can even ask - and they are much appreciated! Salsa has a great kick to it - and chips are perfectly cooked and crunchy. As you might expect, the menu has every variation of enchilada, quesadilla, etc. We ordered the beef fajita and the shrimp and fish tacos. All satisfied any craving for Tex Mex cuisine. Portions of meat, shrimp, and everything else do not skimp.

Yelp
I was in Austin for SXSW and Maudie's Too came highly recommended by a former local, so I hopped a Lyft to have lunch. It totally wasn't worth the hassle and expense. I was hoping for tasty Tex-Mex since I was in Texas, but this place disappointed me in every way imaginable. The "dive bar" vibe is casual and comfortable, with a good-sized outdoor patio. We sat inside since it was a nice day and the patio was packed. This isn't a fancy atmosphere, and usually that's a sign of killer good food. The food here, though, is just okay. I'd more accurately call it "mediocre." We ordered queso and chips, chicken fajitas, enchiladas, and a margarita. Nothing was anything to write home about, and it was standard-issue fare. The fajitas looked like they came out of a bag, and the veggies didn't have that nice caramelized texture. The biggest travesty of all: the tortillas are not homemade. The black beans were disappointing, as was the queso (looked like something I could've made at home with a package of Velveeta). The enchiladas were the best thing about the meal. If you're seeking authentic style food with tons of spice and flavor, you're going to be disappointed in Maudie's Too. Even the margarita was forgettable. This wasn't the worst place I ate in Austin, but it's not somewhere I'd return. And yeah, the bathrooms are DISGUSTING and DIRTY.

Yelp
I received great, accommodating service here. I arrived before a rush of people. My meal hadn't arrived and I was ordering dessert. So I was at the table a while. I was feeling pressure from myself to speed up due to the number of people waiting, so I apologized to my server. She very kindly and *genuinely* told me that there was no reason to rush, I should enjoy my meal. No pressure for me to move along to free the table. My quesadilla was delicious! The chicken was cooked just right, and the cheese melted completely. There was a great deal of pico on the side provided as well. My sopapillas were fried perfectly and bigger than I anticipated! A very delicious way to end my meal. Finally, a chip and salsa comment--we all know we judge places on the quality of these! The chips were crunchy and non-greasy, and the salsa had a good burn to it. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Maudies is an Austin is a historical Austin staple that everyone seems to love but unfortunately, I'm not the biggest fan. The service is good and they have a decent happy hour but I just can't get behind their food and it might just be due to the fact that I don't love their version of Tex Mex. I've been multiple times and everyone else seems to love it. I'd recommend trying it out and deciding for yourself! My view comes as a vegetarian so I'm sure their fish + meat dishes are amazing but I can't vouch for them

Amanda V.

Yelp
Short wait for a table, but WELL WORTH IT! Casual vibe, but there were people that got dressed up--assuming they were hitting downtown after, cuz this place is totally casual. They had 1 TV above the bar that sat in the corner of the restaurant. Everything was amazing. The salsa they brought out when we sat down was so good but definitely on the spicy side (i didnt mind, but proceed with caution!). The queso was literally the best i've ever tried. I had soft chicken tacos for my entree and omg.. again.. the best i've ever had. They were much larger than i was used to from the northeast, so i had plenty left over to take to go. Everything was top notch and reasonably priced. GO HERE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Tino K.

Yelp
Great food and great service! I've been a lot of places this is my new fav. I recommend the carnitas burrito with a tecate and cheese dip.

Isaiah B.

Yelp
I don't know why I expected this place to be authentic or of quality. The salsa provided with the complimentary chips is always a dead giveaway for what you're about to receive, and this salsa was basically tomato sauce out of a can. No miscellaneous chunks of tomato, onion, cilantro, or peppers, just tomato sauce The prices seemed honest, but once I received my meal I realized why they were suspiciously lower than expected. I ordered the "Mexican Special", which comes with a "crunchy beef taco" and "guacamole salad". The beef taco was just plain ground beef in a plain taco, nothing else, and the guacamole salad was basically a dollop of guac out of an ice cream scoop with some shredded lettuce and chunks of tomato on top. The rest of the meal was two enchiladas with plain refried beans and plain rice, which wasn't bad, but it's kinda hard to mess something up when it's completely drenched in cheese. The service was fine, we were constantly checked on, I don't have any complaints there. They were nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance on the other hand was subpar. The main room is way too small for the amount of tables they have shoved in there, and it felt like a constant battle to yell louder than the table next to you just to hear your own party. Overall I'm hesitant to say it was overpriced, but it was definitely not of the quality I was hoping for. I would have liked more care to be put into spices and seasonings to give the food more flavor. I don't have experience with the financial logistics of running a restaurant, but I've definitely had tastier and more satisfying dishes for the same price I paid for this meal, so I know there's room for improvement in some capacity.

Yelp
OBSESSED with Maudie's. Everything I've gotten here was delicious (including drinks) plus they do gluten free accommodations SO well. They even provide separate bagged chips upon request. I'm celiac and I have never gotten sick from cross contamination after years of going here. Thank you for caring @Maudies!!!

Joyce I.

Yelp
Good intro to Tex Mex! Their margaritas are strooooong! Worth it hehe. Their food is good I got the cheese enchiladas. Service is nice. Nothing outstanding but really fun vibe during happy hour

Yelp
6 hungry, handsome, charming young men were on the prowl for some authentic Mexican cuisine after a week long camping trip. In the small but cozy town of Austin, Texas these daring Texas travelers stumbled upon Maudie's, unknowingly about to have the slappiest, mouth-watering Mexican food in all of Central Texas. Immediately greeted with a smile by Swole Collin, the staff and service had these five young men feelin sum typa-way. After devouring authentic Mexican food ranging from bussin brunch food to bitchin tacos, these young men left feeling orgasmic and satisfied. Giving a generous tip to reflect the excellent service, they left as mysteriously as they came. Their only critique was that the staff was too hardworking and the food was a little too good. Swole Collin said everything was good, and damn good it was.

Yelp
Maudie's Too, you had me at hello, Your Marfa Stack makes my taste buds glow. I never knew love until I met you, Now all other restaurants just won't do. Your food is danktown, your sauces so hot, I'll fear I'll never find a better spot. And oh, your queso, so smooth and creamy, It's like heaven on a chip, so dreamy. I could spend every day on your patio, Drinking crispy water, taking it slow. Your decor is so colorful and bright, It's the perfect setting for a love at first bite. Maudie's Too, you have my heart, And my stomach, too, it's true from the start. I'll never leave you, never say goodbye, You're my one true love, my Tex Mex high

Jeri T.

Yelp
I used to love coming here with my friends for drinks and food. It's been a minute. After seeing some films, I stopped here for a late lunch before heading home. There were only a few tables, albeit one of 6-8, but service was quite slow to get my menu and drink order. I got a Fajitas and Greens Salad which wasn't the best. The meat was a bit pale (sear the meat!) and I couldn't taste the dressing. The mixed greens was mostly romaine lettuce and I was expecting a spring mix but that's okay. Maudie's can do better!

Michaela P.

Yelp
It's just like the other Maudie' but a little divier (not a bad thing). Food is good and on par with the other locations as is the great service. I'd give this location 4 stars but they can't seem to make a decent Bloody Mary.

Carol C.

Yelp
What can I say. It's building is old. No parking but the food is what I go for. Going through chemo I have not a taste, but my tongue so enjoys those cheese enchiladas. If you go to go eat. Great it's just not the prettiest but the food is fabulous

Sarah P.

Yelp
Celiac safe! We were in Austin for 3 months and I swear I spent way too much time at Maudie's. It's not exciting (I mean it might be, for you), but it scratches that itch for a good solid comfort meal for me. The restaurant can be a bit crowded and loud, but the servers are quick and friendly without being overly so (you know, they don't camp at your table chit chatting). I just wrote a review for another place and mentioned enchiladas, but I also mentioned I am not very imaginative sometimes, so yeah. I had enchiladas almost every time I went there, and they never let me down. I did both take out and dine in, and I preferred the take out just because it gets a bit cramped sometimes in the dining room there. On the other hand you could just go with it and make new friends at the next tables. The other diners seemed super happy and chill, and every time we went the atmosphere was great...if, like I said, a little too tight when crowded. I almost gave them 4 stars for the crowding issue but then I decided it was so good, and safe for me to eat, and they go out of their way to help with food allergies... so 5 it is. If you tell them you have a gluten allergy they bring you an unopened bag of celiac safe chips to have with your salsa, which is a lovely touch. I wish more mexican restaurants did this - what's the point of going out for mexican if you can't get too full on chips and salsa while waiting for dinner? Too many places fry tortilla chips in the same oil they fry gluten stuff in, so the chips are usually off limits for me. Maudie's, thank you for keeping me fed while in Austin. I'm sure we'll be back.

Karina N.

Yelp
I had the chicken caldo. It came with rice and avocado. I also had a ton of chips. I like their salsa. The service was good and the food is decent. I'd come back here. It was mainly about my company and it was nice to visit with some friends.

Josh M.

Yelp
Stopped by Maudie's before catching The Batman at Alamo Drafthouse. We got some cocktails, chips, and queso. It was perfect! Chips tasted exactly like Taco Bell--depending on how boujee you are, that's not a bad thing, haha. Free refills. Queso was very much like a nacho cheese; bright orange. They give you a lot. Drinks were cheap and did the trick. I liked the Tito's Rita (Vodka, grapefruit, lime, orange juice) and it tasted exactly like a fruit punch Capri Sun. Honestly, between nacho and cocktail, it felt like I was 11, eating a Lunch-able. I'd definitely go back for a pre-movie appetizer.

Donna J.

Yelp
First visit this weekend. Husband has been numerous times. Chips were fresh, crisp. Cheese enchiladas were good. Very hot/fresh. Personally didn't care for rice as it tasted green pepper-y (which I don't like.) Picky eater. Husband ate all on his plate. Busy night & Service was good & server friendly.

Yelp
Please read if you are interested in seeing how Maudie's cares, & goes above & beyond for their guests. I had to come out of Yelp retirement to spotlight excellent customer service! My brother's 50th bday was this week, & as he lives in Washington DC now, (but spent years for work in Austin), he calls Austin his second home, & Maudie's his favorite tex mex restaurant. He started taking me over a decade ago. I find that everything on the menu is fresh & amazing. My brother found his favorite, Enchiladas Perfecto. There's amazing sauce on top, that he claims no one can replicate. You see, when he moved, he tasked his wife with trying to make it- fail. He searched restaurants fall & wide for something similar on this signature sauce - Fail. He could not find. He talks about it all the time. So, naturally when his 50th bday came up, & you have to find a gift for the guy who has everything? Long story short, I live in Florida. I sent an email explaining my brother's love for Maudie's and the sauce, and asking a tall order - is there a way I can purchase and you can somehow send to him in DC. I received text messages and amazing communication about making it happen! I honestly was quite surprised. This team took time out of their schedule to prep some extra fresh sauce, package it up, get it to USPC packed in dry ice and had it delivered on his bday! They went further, threw in a hand written card, & a really cool hat! To say he was surprised & overjoyed, is an understatement. A wonderful local company went above and beyond, and now we will tell this story to everyone! They could have ignored my e-mail. They could have said, hey we dont really do that....its a pain to send it out blah blah blah. Someone cared enough about their guests and raving fan to make a bday wish come true. There's lots of wonderful Mexican food in Austin, and all very different. But if you want fresh, amazing food while getting the best attention to customer service, go to Maudies. They actually care about your business! Thank you team Maudies for making my brother the happiest man on his bday, and for making me the champion of "the best present" award! Here's a goofy pic of him and his daughter, as they made some cheese enchiladas at home, with the famous added Perfecto sauce that he loves so much!

Audrey M.

Yelp
Love this place come here all the time has happy hour all day Monday and delicious Enchiladas

Suzanne P.

Yelp
We had a large group for lunch. Food was terrific and very reasonably priced. The Rockin Ruthann is a favorite. Queso was also a big hit with the group. We will definitely return.

Mike E.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Great bang for your buck tex-mex, and it doesn't get much better than the value Maudie's offers! Service: 5/5 Our waiter kept the margaritas coming and the host staff was quick to get us seated. Environment: 3/5 Be prepared to scream across the table so anyone can hear you because Maudie's is LOUD. Tables and chairs are packed into the dining area which made dining a bit awkward in how close other patrons were to our table.

Jason B.

Yelp
Good old fashion, Austin, Tex Mex. This is a local place that has been great for years. Eating here several times between enchiladas, Chile, Riano's and tacos you can't go wrong and yes, the margaritas are amazing.! Plenty of seating, angry customer service you will definitely be back to like me.

Rachel W.

Yelp
This restaurant is a good place to go when you're super hungry and can't decide on what to eat when you're in the Barton Springs area. The enchiladas were basic, nothing special. Full of Rotel cheese and not authentic. I get that this is a Tex-Mex place but there was more cheese than tortilla and enchilada sauce. I really did enjoy the salsa. I am giving this place a three star waiting due to the service. Our waiter was a nice guy, very patient. Would not return here again due to the lack of taste in the food.

Mary Ellen P.

Yelp
This needs to be zero stars. On April 16th, 2024 I ordered food to pick up at Curbside. I checked in and waited for quite a while. I just had ACL surgery and had no other choice but to walk inside. There were maybe a handful of customers. I asked why do you offer curbside if I was ignored and had to come inside. His response "did you have drinks with this order?" Never once did he acknowledge my question and had the nerve to let me carry my food to my car and not even open the door. Shame on you Maudie's for such pathetic customer service. I will never ever return to your establishment.

Samuel S.

Yelp
I have been a frequent customer of Maudies Too for some time now and have generally had a decent experience each time I've visited. The margaritas and salsa are always tasty and the food is satisfactory, although it is not necessarily noteworthy. While I wouldn't go out of my way to dine at Maudies, it is a convenient option when I am in the area. One standout item on the menu for me is the enchiladas, which are always cooked to perfection. My absolute favorite thing about Maudies, however, is the breakfast tacos on weekend mornings. They are the perfect hangover cure and a delicious way to start the day. In addition to dining in, I have also placed to-go orders from Maudies on numerous occasions. I appreciate that they offer the convenience of ordering through Toast Tab, which makes the process quick and easy. The to-go orders have always been prepared in a timely manner and the food has remained fresh and hot upon arrival at my destination. Overall, I would give Maudies Too 3 stars for their decent margaritas, satisfactory food, and convenient to-go options through Toast Tab.

Toby F.

Yelp
Everything was great, except for the cheese enchiladas that were sadly made with american cheese, which i find disgusting. Judging from the other reviews, it clear that hardly anyone notices or cares about this. This is the only place I've encountered this out of 50-60 Mexican restaurants through out Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

Ralph S.

Yelp
We haven't been to this Maudie's location in about two years. The food is still delicious. We had a really good waiter.

Jeff U.

Yelp
We came back! It's my birthday so we drove in for a meal. They took care of us as promised! Great quest and chips with salsa Tasty margaritas Cheese enchiladas so good Taco was fantastic Skinny Sheryl was good Sopapillas were great with Mexican vanilla ice cream Waitress rocked!! Bathrooms clean too We really enjoyed ourselves Thank you !!

Bruce S.

Yelp
This is it. The quintessential Tex-Mex joint. Cheese enchiladas are undeniably the measuring stick for good Tex-Mex and these puppies are the best in Austin. Chili con carne packs a punch and pairs well with the American cheese (beware of "Tex-Mex" places that use cheddar) This location is a little more on "hole in the wall" side of the spectrum but that isn't a bad thing. If you want a more elevated Maudie's try their Bee Cave or 360 location. This location fits in nicely on South Lamar.

Dawn P.

Yelp
I will never eat here again. Please clean the ancient air vents and replace the old dirty carpet with something that can be mopped and properly cleaned. The current situation is unsanitary. I smelled mold right when I walked in and I was congested the rest of the day. The salsa was a puree, with no pico chunks or flavor, but yet it was overly spicy. We didn't complain, but ordered guamole to eat with the chips instead. Like the salsa, it had been pureed. It was obvious the guacamole had not been made that day. It was just food processed it with a lot of lime or lemon juice to try to brighten it up and disguise the age. My French toast had not been fully dipped or dipped long enough in an egg batter to cover all parts of the bread before it was cooked. I did receive a generous portion of eggs, despite the current egg shortage. The sweet tea was watered down. Unfortunately the bathroom was dark and dirty. And all of the staff looked depressed, which makes me sad.

Brooke L.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ordered lunch to go and they forgot my food. I didn't want to drive back over so I called to ask for a refund and the manager is only refunding my food. I understand that that's all that was missing but I think they could have done something a little extra to try to make it right but no. I even asked and the manager said no? Like seriously?

Katie S.

Yelp
The service is always great, and their patio is one of my favorite places to be for happy hour. The prices aren't more expensive than any other Tex-Mex place in Austin. Their happy hour is a great deal though with some tasty options.

Marlo B.

Yelp
GREAT Tex mex! I came in on a Saturday night with friends while we visited Austin. We waited about 20 mins to be seated on the patio, not bad at all. I ordered the Cena Plate, which is carne guisada. I haven't had this particular dish in a long time and it brought back so many memories. It was so delicious with the flour tortillas on the side. I would visit again just for that dish! Everyone I was with loved their food as well. This is a great place to meet friends and drink margaritas on the patio.

Jordan N.

Yelp
I still think Maudie's make good migas tacos. Not the best in the city, but if there's not a better place nearby, then it's quite quick and convenient to stop by and get some here. Their food is in general good, not great - but sometimes that's all you need (and a margarita). Sam gives great service at this location and is accommodating toward deaf customers! :)

Charlie D.

Yelp
The carnita burrito was crazy good. Like the pineapples added as a topping. Large serving that made me think left-overs; but no, I ate them both. Service was excellent. Plenty of staff that picked up whatever I needed regardless if they were my waiter. The AC was working well on this hot July texas day. Lots and lots of locals hung out here while I was there. Just moving here and this will be my go-to Tex-Mex joint. Highlybtecommend

Vanessa G.

Yelp
I like it , taco salad add chicken. Simple and effective. My go to when I'm in that area.

Drew G.

Yelp
I love this place. The house frozen is amazing, the salsa is spicy, and the happy hour is awesome! You can tell they really care about their customers and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great Tex max spot!

Adriana F.

Yelp
Used to be great... but all of a sudden last few times I have wasted so much money both times on food I cannot have. Both including asking gluten fee "celiacs disease" and getting flour tortillas or cross contaminated (obvious food) to where the service admitted they didn't do it correctly. Seriously? Gluten free and you give me flour tortillas? I used to trust this place but maybe they pay people less or are not doing well. All of a sudden I cannot safely eat at Maudie's.

Havalah W.

Yelp
We had the doggie w us and were looking for a quick place to eat. This definitely did the job. They have a small patio and an entrance on the outside of the restaurant so dogs are allowed! We ordered our food pretty quick and the queso didn't come, but we reminded them and it came fast after that. The fajitas were super! Kids had enchiladas and quesadillas and they enjoyed them. Not my favorite queso, but you can't win them all!

Jason W.

Yelp
Found this place on a site focused on happy hour offerings in Austin and glad we did. They have their own parking lot, which is convenient for this area. Walking inside, we were seated promptly in their semi-dark dining area by an exterior wall, although they also offer an enclosed patio in front that has fans. Wife tried a Signature Rita ($6), which she said was good. We ordered the Appetizer Trip ($5) for the table, which included guac, queso, and a smoky bean dip. It was OK but we actually preferred the salsa that initially came to the table and had a nice kick. My wife and I split the Nachos Supreme ($6), which was a tasty experience of tortilla chips loaded with refried beans and cheese surrounding the perimeter of the dish and a mix of pickled carrots, peppers, guac, and pico in the middle. Son ordered Tacos al Pastor ($11.75) that he said was good and daughter did 2 Blanco Verde Taco ($7) which she also liked. We split Tres Leches ($6) and Sopapillas (3.25) for dessert. The Tres Leches was decent sized and pretty good, the Sopapillas were OK as they were a little dry for my taste. Overall, glad we stumbled across this option and would try it again if in the area.

AJ A.

Yelp
Maudie's is a small-chain, Tex-Mex joint local to the Austin area. I loved everything I tried like the chalupas and enchiladas, but my favorite dish were the Tacos Al Pastor that I ordered. They were very much reminiscent of the tacos that I ate in CDMX and took me back when I took my first bite. Thrilling -- I know right? These tacos are the perfect size and are loaded with Al Pastor meat, which is a three achiote and citrus marinated pork. My only real complaint was that when we went it was so loud that our server couldn't understand us shouting out our orders. Tips & Notes - I definitely recommend getting the Tacos Al Pastor! Get extra limes too! - Monday Happy Hour starts at 3pm and lasts until the end of the night

Mackenzie R.

Yelp
Was looking forward to coming here with my co- worker for a late lunch. We walked in and sat at The bar, probably made eye contact with the bartender a couple times, but we were not once greeted in the 15 minutes we sat there and watched people get helped around us. Even a shorter guy who looked to maybe be a manager just ignored us. Literally every table had drinks and chips. We were not greeted at all, we felt invisible so we left. This was upsetting because we both love Maudies but this was our first time at this location, guarantee we won't be back. It also smells HORRIBLY sour in there.

Danielle W.

Yelp
I have been going to this Maudie's for years and I am so surprised I haven't reviewed them yet! I usually order my food to go. I get the Enchiladas Perfecto with double beans. This is three cheese enchiladas, beans and rice. But I like to sub the rice for beans. It's a chili con carne sauce. True TexMex. Generous portions for a decent price. Friendly staff. If you want to eat indoors they have seating available. If you want to eat outside, they have that too! It's walking distance to The Saxon Pub, so it's really convenient to eat then head over.

Trent R.

Yelp
Ambiance is cool and the salsa is decent but both entrees that we tried had absolutely zero flavor. Boiled chicken with no seasoning and the sauces had no flavor whatsoever. Even the rice and beans were stoggy and uninspiring.

Seth A.

Yelp
The holy grail of a good restaurant: fantastic food, fantastic service, AND fantastic prices?? You'll find all three at Maudie's! After being stuck in the Midwest for five years, I was craving authentic Mexican food, but have been striking out since arriving in Austin. I hit a home run at Maudie's! The staff is genuinely friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are amazing. Why go anywhere else?

Yelp
What do you do when you have been walking around all day and you really need to sit down? You find somewhere to hang out and eat food at, and that's exactly what lead me to Maudie's Too on Sunday afternoon. This decent size Tex-mex place offers a good amount of seating, a friendly staff, and free chips and salsa (which is something everywhere should honestly supply). The menu here features pretty much everything standard you would expect on a menu like this from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and nachos. I was not starving to death and thanks fo the free chips and salsa my appetite only bad room for a cheese quesadilla. When the food was served I was pretty "meh" at both the site and taste of the quesadilla, not that it was bad, it was just really really bland. I realize you might be saying "it's a cheese quesadilla man, what do you expect?" But I've ordered some with flavour in the past and been wow'd by them. Overall, although I didn't love the cheese quesadilla I ordered, I also didn't hate it. It was pretty basic but it was a decent size and didn't taste bad either. Other then the food, the staff was friendly and thats really all I can say about Maudie's Too.

Yelp
Love this place. Spend many weekends brunching it there. Went last weekend after returning from NY and had the best service ever. Our waitress was overly friendly and very sweet. No offense but some of the guys just want to get ya in and out. We are simple and don't drink so not much fun but do tip well . It was nice getting complements, even if not sincere and someone noticing us as 'people'. The food is always good. But having it served with a bright smile this time was great. Thanks Maudie's for always keeping it real.

Yelp
Came here for late lunch/early dinner after some shopping. The service we received from our server was phenomenal. He was very attentive. My son ordered the kid burger and fries and I ordered queso along with shrimp/chicken fajitas. The shrimp had good flavor but were overdone. Chicken was good. The queso was fine but nothing special. Parking was right in front which I appreciate- I hate street parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
