Opened in 1995 inside the 1859 Oliver House, Toledo’s original craft brewery remains independently owned. Expect house beers, wood-fired fare, and a deep sense of local history—a combination that continues to draw praise from regional brewery roundups and critics.

Maumee Bay Brewing Company isn't just a place to grab a pint; it's a step back into Toledo's history, perfectly blended with the modern craft beer scene. Housed within the beautifully preserved Oliver House—a building steeped in local lore—the brewery offers an atmosphere that is truly unmatched in the region. The exposed brick, high ceilings, and industrial-meets-historic décor provide a warm, inviting, and spacious setting, making it perfect for a casual lunch, a lively dinner, or hosting a large event. The Brews: A Diverse and Dependable Tap List As Toledo's oldest craft brewery, Maumee Bay has a long-standing reputation for quality and variety. Whether you're a hop-head or prefer a traditional lager, the tap list has something for everyone. Their core lineup is rock-solid, featuring local favorites like the Buckeye Beer (a classic, crisp lager) and the hoppy, citrus-forward Amarillo Brillo double IPA. Beyond the staples, they constantly rotate seasonal and experimental brews, such as fruit-infused ales or rich, dark stouts like the Dreaming Demon Belgian Strong Dark Ale. I highly recommend ordering a flight to sample the breadth of their artistry. The Bites: Must-Try Pub Fare While the beer is the star, the food menu holds its own with elevated American brewpub fare. The menu is diverse, ranging from classic burgers to wood-fired pizzas and full entrees. The absolute, non-negotiable must-try item is the Giant Pretzel. Served with house-made beer cheese and spicy mustard, this enormous appetizer is perfect for sharing and has become legendary among locals. Other standouts include the signature Buckeye Beer Cheese Soup and hearty sandwiches like the Prime Rib Dip. The food is consistently fresh, satisfying, and pairs perfectly with their extensive beer selection. Final Verdict Maumee Bay Brewing Company at the Oliver House is a Toledo institution that delivers a fantastic experience. The combination of historical charm, consistently high-quality craft beer, and excellent pub food makes it an ideal destination. It's a great spot for families, beer aficionados, and anyone looking for a unique, lively dining environment.

We enjoyed our beers! The food was fine, not anything to write home about and I’m not sure I’d recommend the gyro … but my husbands burger looked good! The hostess was not the kindest person I’ve ever encountered and I discovered on my own that while we waited for a table we could have a beer at the bar. Our waitress also never brought napkins or silverware so we had to track those down on our own.

Google
Stopped here for lunch. The building is pretty cool. Interesting wall hangings and such. The service was great. Our server was polite and friendly. The kitchen was fast. Fries were great. However, the sandwiches and beer were not memorable. Not bad, just average.

Stopped by Maumee Bay Brewing Company and, of course, had to try their Giant Pretzel ($17.50)—and it absolutely lived up to its name! This was hands down the biggest and thickest pretzel I’ve ever had. The texture was spot on: a slight crisp on the outside with a soft, pillowy inside. You get a choice of a sweet seasonal dip or beer cheese; we went with the sweet option, which was a cinnamon butter. Unfortunately, the dip was a little disappointing—it came straight from the fridge and was too firm to spread easily. If I had to do it again, I’d go for the beer cheese instead. Since we skipped the beer cheese with the pretzel, we decided to try the Beer Cheese Soup ($7 for a bowl) instead of just a cup. It was a bit on the salty side, but dipping the pretzel in it balanced it out. We also got a 6-drink sample ($8.25), which was fun but nothing particularly standout. Still, it’s a good way to try a variety if you’re unsure what to get. Overall, the pretzel was the star, but I’d recommend going with the beer cheese unless you prefer sweet flavors or aren’t a fan of cheese. The brewery itself has a cool and cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot to hang out. Would definitely come back to try more of their food!

I went with a few friends/family. In total there were six of us and they had no trouble finding us a table. The Oktoberfest beer was good, but if you don’t like creamy cocktails, then you might want to get something else. All of the cocktails were creamy. I don’t normally like root beer, but their in-house made root beer is definitely to try. The food was good. There was nothing to really complain about it, and the portions were good. The interior theme was “loud” and there was always something to look at, but it suited, with what it seemed like they were going for. The “loud” theme complemented the whole brewery concept (in my opinion). Note: I don’t mean “loud” as in volume! Service was great but she kept forgetting our extra waters, but ended up just bringing us a pitcher of water. She gave some recommendations whenever we came across something that they either didn’t have, or wasn’t 100% sure of. Parking was a bit tight, but the place was pretty busy when we went.

Google
Stop two on our little brewery tour of Toledo. This place is massive and full of charm and character. This used to be a hotel (Oliver Place is now an apartment building) and there are two floors with tons of space to enjoy. Instead of a flight like I usually try on a first visit, I went with the “Ballgame” Kölsch. Super crisp with hints of caramel and peanuts, the perfect quaff for a ballgame! For dinner, I had the pulled pork sandwich with fresh cut fries and a side of Brussels Sprouts. All was tasty. The sprouts could use work as they were slightly dry and the stumps were still attached. Service was great and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Google
The food was AMAZING. Hot Italian sandwich is a must. I'm not even a big sandwich person and this meal won me over. Roasted sweet potatoes were great along with the vegetable medley! Service was great! Our waitress was really patient with us and gave us advice on what foods we would probably like. I LOVED the brick walls and the feeling of like an old speakeasy. Explored the back room which definitely then felt like a forbidden bar but it also felt dark in vibes. Definitely coming back for more delicious meals and to see our Jupmode press work displayed and sold here!

Google
Stopped in for lunch on a Friday - and I'm still thinking about the bacon wrapped brussel sprouts 🤤. The woodfired cauliflower crust pizza was well made - I really appreciate that it wasn't burned but cooked all the way through. Chili was solid, not overly salty (my blood pressure thanks you). The pretzel left some ashy residue on our hands but was so soft in the middle. Thanks for an overall great meal!

Yelp
Got there and they lost our 10 person reservation. It was a sign of what was to come... an underwhelming disaster of an experience. "Reservation" for 6:30- at 7:15 we still didn't even have water. By 8pm we had drinks and appetizers and by 8:15 we left without eating dinner. The pickles were soggy and unseasoned, the kids chicken chunks ordered for the toddler at the table were dry, hard, and overcooked. The menus were filthy, tables unbussed. It was a no-go for us.

Yelp
Overall good. We got a sampler flight. The Hefeweizen was pure vinegar and clearly had gone bad. The bartender flipped it out for another beer without asking which one we wanted to try. Would have been nice if he asked what we might want instead and then pulled the Hefeweizen out of tap. If anyone drank that Hefeweizen without knowing that it shouldn't taste like pure apple cider vinegar, I hope their tummy was ok later. Food was fine but took forever to get to us. There were hostesses in the front door who said it would be a 45 minute wait for a table. But we went upstairs and there were plenty of seat yourself tables and space at the bar, so I don't know what that was about. The band playing outside was a nice addition.

Yelp
What a neat place! While on vacation in the Toledo area we found Maumee Bay brewing. It was great! The atmosphere was super neat and it had a great outdoor patio. The beer selection was really nice and had a ton to choose from! We chose a flight and loved everything we tried! The food was great as well! Don't miss the deviled eggs and chilli as an appetizer. The donut burger was also amazing! One hundred percent recommend!
google avatar

Stacia G.

Yelp
Gorgeous upstairs and down with warm wood, big windows, and a big bar on each level. We were able to do a tasting- loved it! They have deviled eggs of day - special burger, etc so make sure to ask! I had duck wings, they also have regular chicken wings. My partner- a burger with peanut butter- delicious! We shall return for sure!

Yelp
Beer- 4 stars Apps- 4 stars Atmosphere- 4 stars Food- 2.5 MBB was pretty inconsistent. The space itself is very cool, the converted Oliver House. They offer a variety of beers, wine, and cocktails as well. They have a good menu with a variety of options, burgers, pizza, salads. As others mentioned, the hostesses did not seem to want to be there. She seemed annoyed to seat our group of six, though it was 2pm and was not very busy. Luckily our server was good, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. I do not drink beer, but I did like their cider. My beer drinking friends did like them, rating the beer as a four. We shared the giant pretzel, which really is giant, and the Pickel bread, which was more like pickel pizza. Both were awesome. What was not good was a majority or the rest of our meal. The bread on my sandwich was dry and stale. Quiche was not good, very flavorful less and too soft. Mac and cheese was not cheesy, my friend barely ate any. The potatoes on the brat platter were good, but the brat was not, it was already split and soft, my friend described it as being a tofu dog. The only items that were good were the Cesar salad and the beer cheese soup. Overall: come for the beer and apps, skip a meal

Yelp
We stopped for a drink. Bartender was awesome. Oktoberfest was Caramel Kiss Martini. Yum.

Yelp
This place can get busy especially when the walleye are playing. There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area. Lots of beer memorbilia. I got the mushroom melt and the Christmas beer. The sandwich was delicious. It came with homemade chips. That was my favorite. I would definitely recommend the homemade chips. Obviously lots of beer options since it's a brewery. Great beer options. Love the glasshopper ipa. The pretzel is huge and def a table share. The spinach artichoke wasn't as thick as I'm used to. Will definitely go back. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
We were there early right at opening for the most part. Lots and lots of parking lots so I assume it gets really busy. We sat close to the bar and I did see there is some patio seating. Tried their white sangria and it is light & refreshing! Ordered the six pack omelette which was full of veggies and sausage almost more than the egg. I think we should check it out later in the day to get and confirm the vibe

Yelp
I used to frequent MBBC for lunches when they 1st opened approximately 30 years ago. I moved to LV for 20 years, and when I returned to Toledo this was one of the restaurants I wanted to go back to for its beer cheese soup and the beer flights. It was delicious, and the decor has the same charm as I remembered . The wood-fired pizza had a nice cheese pull to it, also! Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job assisting us with order choices. I can't wait to come back to check out the patio seating.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and didn't realize how many places were closed on Mondays. We came here seeking beer and pizza. The hostess seated us fairly quickly, given how small the restaurant is. I didn't see any beers I liked, so I tried the Blueberry Muffin cocktail. It was different but not bad. My husband got an ipa, which he thought was alright. We also split a taco pizza and an order of waffle fries. The fries were good. The pizza was mediocre, which was too bad. The crust was really good, but the pizza over all could have been called a hamburger pizza and you wouldn't have know the difference. We added salsa and sour cream, and that helped. It's an okay spot to stop, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Yelp
It's gotten to the point where we'll take a year off in between visits, come back and immediately remind ourselves why we took the previous year off. Food is completely miss over hit, and while the atmosphere is as killer as ever, it's just not worth the frustration of poorly executed food. Yes, the chicken sandwich is still one of the best in the city, but it's going to take a complete overhaul of the menu and kitchen before it will ever come back into our regular rotation. So dang disappointing.
google avatar

Sue T.

Yelp
The food is not that memorable but they do have an extensive menu and I'm sure there's something for everyone here. What was memorable for me was the beer artifacts. They have an impressive wall filled with shelves of different types of beers. On top of that, there's also cases full of vintage beer momentos. This is a fun little place to stop with friends, enjoy some beers and look at some beer history.
google avatar

Jeri V.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick beer after a visit to the zoo, and had to try the mushroom melt. It was oozing with gooey cheese and had an abundance of very tasty mushrooms. The mushroom broth for dipping made the flavor even better. Great beer selection, and all were excellent! We highly suggest the flight of 6. Super deal, and you'll want to try them all. So glad we stopped in!

Richard T.

Yelp
Rueben sandwich made with very dry, tough meat. Couldn't detect any dressing on the dry toast. Pretty hard to mess up a Reuben. Cheddar Beer Soup. Not any cheddar I've ever had in my 73 years. To me, tasted like Velveta with corn starch to thicken. No flavor...bland. Very disappointed. I haven't been there in years. Used to go alot in the 1990s and 2000s and they were excellent. Sadly, won't be back. The ladies were very attentive. The facility needs some refreshing...looks tired.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool building and history. We went on a Saturday shortly after opening for "brunch". I ordered the avocado toast and was GREATLY disappointed. The toast was grocery store sandwich bread, the avocado was not seasoned, there was no feta or micro greens on top. My husband's 3 egg omelette definitely was not made with 3 eggs ! Overall the food was subpar at best.

Yelp
Stopped in at Maumee Bay Brewing for a late dinner after a trip to the Toledo Zoo Lights Before Christmas. We only had to wait for a table to be cleaned before being seated in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. There is also a full far in this area, and this room also houses the beer vats, so there was a lot to look at. Several tvs around the room playing various channels - a little something for everyone. We started off by ordering a flight - 6 choices for $8.25. This price was lower than we normally pay for a choice of 4 at one of our go-tos in Sylvania. MBBC had a very decent selection to choose from, and a couple of my choices were standouts, in my opinion. Next were the food choices - we both ordered salads since it was later in the evening. Our server was very helpful in making suggestions for both our food and flight. The only knock for our visit at Maumee Bay Brewing Co. was the portion size of the salmon I added to my salad. It was maybe an ounce or 2, and it cost me $7. Needless to say, that was a disappointment. I didn't say anything because of it being so late in the evening. Everything else besides the tiny sample of salmon on my salad was above board. We will visit Maumee Bay Brewing more often.

Yelp
I wanted the twister drink but they were out, so I settled for Hefeweizen ...... not so fast, out of that too so I got the blitzen beer which is not my fav but I choked it down. The service was good. The ambiance was good. The food not so good, new menu, they had to run to the kitchen after I ordered to see if they actually had it.
google avatar

Yelp
I love stouts and Total Eclipse from Maumee Bay Brewing was a great one! With the solar eclipse, several breweries are making a marketing effort to capitalize on it, which is fun. I'm a sucker for a good theme, so I had to check this one out. I must say Maumee Bay has hit a home run with this selection!

Yelp
Went here for lunch today (Thursday) and it was so bad. Very disappointing. I don't know how this places stays in business. Service was on the slow side, even though it was after the lunch rush. The only reason we went there was so my kids could get a giant pretzel. After we ordered and waited a bit the waitress came back and said they were out of them. My dad got a cheeseburger and they forgot the cheese, I got a French dip type sandwich with added onions and mushrooms. They forgot those as well. The au jus that came with it tasted weird and was flavorless for the most part. Since she must have already put in the order for the adult's food and had to come back and get another order for the kids food the adult's food was dry like it had been sitting a while. The waitress offered to have ours remade, but we had already been waiting a while and were hungry so we just dealt with it. We aren't the type of people to really complain, but I do appreciate an apology from the manager or something free, or a portion of the bill being comped for the bad food. Nothing was offered. I have been to this restaurant many times and it has always been fine. Very disappointed in this visit and can't say I'll be back. It's a cute place, but I don't know how it stays in business when it can be that bad.

Yelp
Great food good/decent prices ...one thing Maumee Bay Brewery needs to up their host/maitre d game. We waited about 5 min before seeing anyone in a non crowded area and saw other groups experience the same.

Carol M.

Yelp
Took out of town family there tonight. They all got the Lake Erie perch dinner. The perch had obviously been frozen was more batter than fish and super thin. They were very disappointed with the quality. We had been there in the past and fish was excellent. They have definitely slipped in quality.
google avatar

Susan R.

Yelp
I am anxious to read others take on the "Easter Buffet", as I was extremely disappointed. 50 people in the waiting area and 1 person at desk, total disorganization. Food....frozen carrots...not thoroughly cooked, very dry scalloped potatoes, over done chicken, dessert table with no plates. I could go on but why. On a positive note, server Gabe was excellent and was tipped well.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Great place in Toledo in an old building. Nice atmosphere and good food. Our waitress Karissa was great. Original wood floors and doors. The Food was really good! Lots of historical brewing info. You should visit when in Toledo
google avatar

Kerri E.

Yelp
This is a brick building in downtown Toledo. Several stories with a bar (maybe two). There are private rooms that are quaint and I got married in the fireside room. The pretzel was huge and so good! Definitely a must-have! I got the quiche of the day which was ham & tomato. It was good but very light in the ham. Also had a side of fruit. The server was attentive and patient. I'd like to go back and see the rest of the place when I'm not getting married
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
Food is typical bar food quality, but the beer is phenomenal. Love coming here when we visit from out of town.
google avatar

Jordan L.

Yelp
Two words - pickle pizza. Must get this. I also got a salad and it was yummy. Our server was nice even when we spilled water. The ambiance is fun because you're in a brewery (the downstairs part). It was yummy, glad we went while visiting Ohio!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely Fantastic! We were doing a staycation this year and planned to go to several new to us restaurants. This was by far our family's favorite one. We grabbed the Large Pretzel for an appetizer, my husband tried two of the beers and loved them both. Then we all got something different. The price was great too! We ended up going on a Monday so two or the kids meals were free. Everyone loved everything. We will absolutely be going back!

Bryane K.

Yelp

Yelp
My husband had been here before years ago, I'm glad it was still open and survived the CV disaster. I really liked the atmosphere in the bar. We sat at the bar and had quick pleasant service. The food was good and they had a good beer selection and cocktails. We would stop again.
google avatar

Yelp
This brewery is a great place, stopped here to sample the beers and took home a growler of Buckeye beer. The bartender Scotty was very helpful. The building inside is a great space and has lots for old beer decor.

Mary A.

Yelp
Horrible! We had reservations at 3:00 and stood in line for 55 minutes to get seated. Then had to wait in line for the food for another half an hour. Organization was horrible. They should have staggered the seating. Then to make matters worse, two of our party had to leave with a sick baby and we asked if we could have a refund or to take two dinners to go and were denied because of health codes. But another group of people were taking to go boxes because one of their party couldn't make it and the manager said well someone will be in trouble....total BS! We will not be returning here again. The food wasn't that good either!!!
google avatar

Annie S.

Yelp
Really disappointed in our meal Both me and my son ordered Ruebens and onion rings along with a $17 pretzel with cheese. As soon as I touched one of the onion rings I could tell I would not like them. For one thing, the onion rings were soft, too soft and the breading had a weird taste, sent those back. The ruebens were just so-so. When asked to get some extra cheese to take home with our left over petzel, was advised instead of removing the onion rings from our bill, the waitress said she was giving us the cup of cheese for the pretzel instead of taking off the onion rings. Told her to keep the cheese and take the onion rings off the bill. Like I always say, I like to try new places and if I don't like the food, I just wont go back..

Katrina M.

Yelp
Told it was an hour wait. Waited 20 mins, but when we sat down no one waited on us for 10 mins. We left. Great atmosphere, but poor service. Have to assume our short wait was due to poor service and no one wanting to wait. Seating service was poor. Unless you sit at the bar...don't bother.

Felicia W.

Yelp
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! VERY RACIST!! First and last time I will ever go here. Went here for what would be a 1st lunch date. Got there before noon so only 3 other couples were there, one which was at the bar. We were seated behind a pole. Waited to be even asked for drinks. Bartender juat happen to walk past. We ordered an appetizer and 2 sandwiches. After 3 other white couples came in and ordered and received their food o said something. Manager had the nerve to say waitress was upstairs bit clearly not. Then when I called out the racism he had the nerve to say he had black people in the back. It was like a scene from "The Green Book" BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT SPEND YOUR BLACK DOLLARS HERE!! I give this place a big ZERO but since I can't here's your one

Criss R.

Yelp
To start, the bartender must have been having a day. She was rude & unorganized behind the bar. We picked this place because it stated that it had wood fired pizza AND it was brewery. Brewery, yes...maybe not the best as the 3 beers we tried had similar bad taste...very bitter. Not sure if the hops were bad or if the lines had not been sanitized. If the pizza was wood fired, I would challenge that! Also, the pizza was not even luke warm. The ambience overall is pretty cool but not worth the wait or money!

David B.

Yelp
This review should be zero stars. The beer is terrible. Tastes worse than most first time home brewers and unfortunately the food is worse. The wait staff is also not very good at their job. They are super friendly and nice but very slow and not very attentive. Came in on a Sunday and it was not busy only four other tables of people. This food is terrible. The margarita pizza is not edible. It's canned tomato sauce with no spices on crappy crust with a couple halves of cherry tomatoes and a few slices of dried up basil. The kids grilled cheese is toast with a slice cheese in the middle. Just stay away and save yourself the time and money. Worst restaurant meal I've had in years.

Yelp
On a given day it was let's visit some brewery's and see what kinda trouble we can get Into as that's always what's good! So coming here I feel like they've taken a hit due to the current situation so my review is tentative based on the beer and the food and I will be willing to give them another shot once things get better as I feel we missed a big portion of what this brewery is all about because of it. First let's start with the building what a beautiful old awesome place like you can just feel the history here and tell that it's huge like for that reason I feel like they are only using a small portion of it but for obvious reasons that's understandable. The brew was definitely the better part of coming here as they were yummy but definitely standard to the other ones I've had at other brewery's like nothing about either of the two that I had made me wanna have another one. The mango Jerry was flavorful but not the taste I expected it to be as it kinda just tasted like some sort of candy along with the roller coaster it was good for a seltzer but not something I'd order again. The fried pickles though those I feel needed some work and just fell short for me as I feel like they were under fried as in they were still gooey in some places inside I feel they could have been much better had they been cooked longer. Our server was awesome she was very knowledgeable and happy to serve us which is always a plus. Overall I can't say I'd run back here but like I stated before I'd definitely be willing to give them another chance at some point to see if I just came on an off day or what but either way it was beer and pickles so I'll let my next experience be the final judge.

Yelp
Went here with a very large group, a whole hockey team and parents. We had the upstairs room, and it was loud but the servers kept up very well. The bartenders were friendly and told us some local history. Beers were great and they lots of variety. Menu also had a lot of options. I got a salad which was fresh and flavorful, some others got the dill pickle bread and the giant pretzel. Burgers also were a hit. They sell their beers by the can, they had some cool t-shirts to purchase. I would recommend this place for a couple beers with friends, or for a large group like we did. There was even a wedding out back in a fenced lawn area.

Yelp
Wide variety of food options with a little bit of something for everyone. They have plenty of seating outdoor, indoor, and at the bar. Service can be a little slow depending on the time of day. Really love the decor especially upstairs with lots of goodies from back in the day.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. We've both been here before but it's been years and couldn't remember anything about it. Had to wait about a half hour for a table but there was something going on next store and peddle pubs abound. Cool looking restaurant in an old hotel I believe. Service was really great from start to finish. Food was really tasty. If you're a lover of soft pretzels make sure you order the giant appetizer. So damn good. Ordered the chunks and they give you a lot. I do wish there were more sauce on them, besides that great meal out all around.

Yelp
One of the better places to eat in Toledo. Also had a Bloody Mary which was also good.

Yelp
Saturday night a visit to UT family members. Food was a 2 and is a pass! MEH bar food. Ruben sandwich very... fatty and inedible. Potato chips are stale, pickles and onion ring so greasy, bring your antacid and plenty of water after. Wood for pizza it wad not! Greasy and definitely not wood fire. Go to Fifth Street in Perrysburg for 4,000 degree wood fire pizza. Alcohol is Alcohol, the beer, will it would be nice to have a tasting chart for your craft beers, so when ordering fights you can be better informed what to choose. Service, was just okay, no runners so dishes and cups piled up on table. Facilities, very cool but back drop but everything was sticky and uncleaned. Unfortunately this is what we all have to deal with. Finding quality people and the owners cutting back within all areas to retain more of their profits. Oh, and the men's bathroom needs a a deep cleaning and then inspected every hour. And put a partition between urinal and sink for the love of Mike this is so unsanitary! Others may have a better experience but one and done sadly. Just a note that our server was a good guy!

Yelp
Good reuben. And by far the best falafel in town - generously sized, wrapped in perfectly heated pita bread. Better even than those served at Toledo's storied Middle Eastern restaurants. And, as others have noted, good tap selection. Their wood-fired pizzas are good, too. Also, I've long admired Maumee Bay for taking a (big) risk and kickstarting downtown's resurgence back in the mid-90s, before local and state officials pumped public money into Fifth Third Field and Huntington, before the reclaimed Warehouse District, before the cool loft apartments, before ProMedica, ... . Before all that, there was Maumee Bay, among the first microbreweries in Ohio, and its pioneering (by Toledo standards) re-use of a cool historical building. In short, it took 30 years, but a moribund downtown has been brought back from the brink, and it all started with Maumee Bay. Only four stars for this visit though, bc they were understaffed, the service was fairly slow, and the server, though friendly, had to be remimded to bring menus and, later, silverware.

Yelp
I came in with a positive mindset as I love supporting small businesses. I got the roller coaster cider and the vegetarian burger with a gluten free bun (For GF folks, they also have califlower pizza crust). However, when I ordered a GF entree, the waitress didn't mention that the side of fries were covered with gluten. Our waitress was nice, however the booth sitting next to us had a waiter who smelled terrible, and I usually never notice those types of things. There was live music playing that was so loud that my ears hurt towards the end and my table couldn't hear one another the whole time. My table split the spinach artichoke dip which was extremely garlicky to the point where that's kinda all you could taste. When our meals came, the toppings were all switched up and the side or mayo was huge and felt like a waste. It had an interesting crowd as well, with lots of people getting drunk early on a weekday. Overall, this restaurant was more of a bar setting rather than a sit down restaurant.

Yelp
I recently dined here on a Thursday, 5/9/24. The restaurant was not busy. The service was lacking and the food was over cooked. We had plans and were waiting for our server to acknowledge us in order to get our check, no success. After an hour of waiting we received our food, took it to go. The pulled pork sandwiched was mistakingly replaced with an overly fried fish sandwich, the pizza crust was burnt, the chicken chunks were fried to the point of being inedible, the kid's grilled cheese was edible. I voiced my concerns to the manager, via e-mail with no reply. Do not waste your hard earned money at this restaurant. The beer is not good enough to make up for the poor service or, terrible food.

Yelp
This has been my husband and I'd go to date night restaurant since we started dating almost 9 years ago. The food and service has always been stellar until roughly 2022, when we came a few times and didn't have the experience or service we were used to. Tonight our server was Scott S. and he is amazing! He is a veteran server who is friendly and takes the time to get to know his customers. My husband had the classic pub burger and it was delicious! I had the turkey burger and added the sweet and spicy bacon and ghost pepper cheese and it was amazing! I handle really spicy food and my mouth burned a little but it tasted so good. You can upgrade to French fries with your sandwich but we rarely do because their chips are made in house and to order! They are always great! Sorry there's no pics- we were hungry and it was amazing!

Yelp
Reasonable food, menu, good beer, and excellent server who was speedy and friendly. Many restaurants are closed Monday & Tuesday in the area and this place was busy. We waited about 10 minutes before getting a table, were quickly served drinks, and got our order in shortly before two large groups (whew). The fish sandwich was good, waffle fries were good. Bratwurst sandwich looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Nothing stood out as great, but nothing was bad - 3 stars.
