Maverick Whiskey is a true San Antonio treasure, a beautifully restored historic space where Texas heritage meets handcrafted excellence. We stopped in here on a Friday night before going on a tour. We had a great time. The drink were delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. The staff was amazing and welcoming.

Probably my favorite stop during my weekend in San Antonio. The flights are reasonable at $15. You get to taste the ones of your choosing. Find one you really like, take home a bottle. I did. The service was great, and servers were very knowledgeable. A nice bonus was the mixed nuts which helped to cleanse the palette between whiskeys. I’ll definitely return.

Nice friendly staff. Wide selection of spirits. Lots of smooths tasting and amazing smelling whiskey...and I'm not a whiskey drinker. The agaves tasted just as smooth as the whiskey. Bartender's recommendations on mixed drinks were on point. We would go here again next time we're in town.

Carlos is a great bartender, storyteller, host, and everything in between. The Alamo City Margarita is great; it's light and refreshing. Perfect to have on a hot summer day.

Great Texas whiskey and bourbon. The private reserve bottle in bond is great. Beautiful bar and building, plenty of space so you can drink a cocktail or flight away from the Riverwalk tourist traps.

Rating is more for our personal taste in whiskey/bourbon. This one is not for us. The flight was ok…it came quickly but looked spilled into and had a sticky note with the items. The fries were good. Tried a smoked old fashioned and it was almost too smoked. The service was good overall and the seating area upstairs was ok…our table wobbled so kept having to stabilize it.
