The 10 Best Sisig In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"You can get sisig at a lot of places in Woodside, but how many have their own radio station playing karaoke covers of Coldplay and Katy Perry? Max’s has about 200 locations in the Philippines, and this one feels sort of like a fast food joint, although it’s full-service. While Max’s is famous for their fried chicken, their lechon kawali sisig is a better choice. It has scallions, onions, and chili peppers, and it tastes like it’s heavily seasoned with onion powder." - nikko duren, kenny yang

The Best Filipino Food in NYC and Jersey City | Eater NY

"Competing with the nearby Jollibee’s for chicken supremacy, Max’s Restaurant cooks up one of best rotisserie chickens in Jersey City. The chain restaurant has been a household name for this iconic dish since 1945. It’s also known for crispy pata (deep fried pig trotters), and other favorites like kare-kare." - Eater Staff

Max's Restaurant Woodside Review - Woodside - New York - The Infatuation

"Our favorite thing about Max’s? They have their own radio station, which plays karaoke covers of Coldplay and Katy Perry. (You might hear staff singing along in the back, too.) With some 200 locations in the Philippines, Max’s Woodside location could be mistaken for a fast food joint, although it’s full-service. The restaurant is known for its fried chicken, which has no batter, but still has crackly skin with moist and flavorful meat. The lechon kawali sisig is even better though. It has scallions, onions, and chili peppers, and tastes like it’s heavily seasoned with onion powder. A few bites and you’ll start humming along in satisfaction to “Teenage Dream." " - Kenny Yang

My barber referred me to this spot about a year ago but yesterday made my last time buying from here....A large chicken soup cost 12$ and everything in it wasn't edible (bones, overcooked pieces of chicken, etc). My guess was they tack on a couple dollars for their pockets these money hungry female servers. So today I go to dunwoodie deli up the road and buy this soup in the 📸for 4.35 that's with tax included. EVERYTHING WAS EDIBLE and taste better....I'm going back to get another for lunch. Don't let these businesses extort you shop around look around trial and error and share which places don't deserve our money!!! ✌🏾💜🗽

Authentic amazing latin/dominican food for reasonable price. A hidden take-out gem. Only con, it's cash-only. If you're looking for variety in Yonkers aside from Malecon & Caridad, you must check this place out. *I don't recommend sit down, needs upgrading

This is a small business with excellent Dominican food, most of Dominican taxi drivers stop here for breakfast and lunch, to go or to stay is constantly visited for locals.

This place is located in one of the worst neighborhoods of Yonkers do you have to use street parking make sure you have change, however their food is very delicious and extremely cheap but it is an unsafe area
