Where To Escape Art Basel - Miami - The Infatuation

"The Art Basel crowd probably couldn’t point out Palmetto Bay on a map, even if that map was just a map of Palmetto Bay. So it’s a safe bet that they won’t follow you to Maxwell Bros, a fun beer bar and pizza shop in Palmetto Bay. Come here to (spoiler alert) drink beer and eat very good pizza. They also have an ice cream shop right next door, and we truly can’t think of a better antidote to Art Basel than an unpretentious night of beer, pizza, and ice cream." - ryan pfeffer

Miami’s 19 Best Fast-Casual Restaurants | Eater Miami

"Not actually a clothing store but a pizzeria and brewpub by the same people who behind Lincoln’s Beard Brewing and Strange Beast. Small bites, charcuterie, and Neapolitan-style pizza are what’s on the menu here. Pop in on a Monday or Tuesday for BOGO beers, and save room for dessert as sister restaurant CryBaby Creamery is right next door with ice cream and cookies galore." - Amber Love Bond

Where To Have A Fun, Affordable Birthday Dinner In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Maxwell Bros is a Palmetto Bay pizza shop from the Lincoln’s Beard Brewing team. So there are two great reasons to come here: beer and pizza, both of which make for a fun birthday, in our professional opinion. The Neapolitan pizza here is very good, and under $15 for a 12-inch pie (the only size they serve). You can also get a house beer for just over $6. Aside from its affordability, Maxwell is a very fun spot, and they have live music and/or a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. They also operate an adjacent ice cream shop, Cry Baby Creamery, right next door. Maybe they'll have a birthday candle you can stick in your scoop." - Ryan Pfeffer

Maxwell Bros. Clothing Store Review - Palmetto Bay - Miami - The Infatuation

"Maxwell Bros is a Palmetto Bay pizza shop from the Lincoln's Beard Brewing team. So there are two great reasons to come here: beer and pizza. They do both wonderfully, but we really enjoy the pizza, which is closer to a Neapolitan style. This pie really won us over by the strength of its toppings. The Pizza Bianca has roasted garlic, caramelized onions, and a lovely sesame crust. The Super Luigi is another one to order. It has toasted pistachio, ricotta, sage, and sausage from fellow Palmetto Bay residents Babe's. And, much like Lincoln's Beard, it's just a fun place to hang out and have a few beers." - Ryan Pfeffer

All pizzas are the same size. The atmosphere feels retro. We ordered Margarita. The crust was my favorite part. The sauce is slightly sweet. The cheese is perfect. Certainly coming back to try new flavors. Really enjoyed this for a quick bite with my husband. (Interesting fact: no men’s restroom, just women’s and unisex)

This place has become a family favorite for good reason — the atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and perfect for both kids and adults. Whether we’re grabbing a casual dinner or celebrating a small occasion, Maxwell’s hits the mark every time. The pizza? Incredible. The Bianca is a must — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And if you're a fan of hearty toppings, the Meat Lovers never disappoints. Their crust is just right, and the quality of ingredients really stands out. They’ve also got a great beer selection that pairs perfectly with the food. Maxwell’s combines great service, a cozy family-friendly vibe, and consistently delicious food. Can’t recommend it enough!

Step into a dinning space that has and exciting decor including 3D artwork and appropriately matched background music. The atmosphere is the best part for me, but, they toped it off with creative offerings of pizzas and unique brew of beverages which adds to the satisfying fill of a delicious meal. A family friendly environment with a sprinkle of seasonally decorated golf cart traffic.

Great place for ice-cream. Great tasting basic ice-cream like vanilla and chocolate, and exotics like passion fruit and you name it. Serve it up how ever you like it. Check them out. Great people serving you and the next to them the pizza is right there as well. Check them out, my family loves it there

The atmosphere embodies a nostalgic feel. I like the wall art, clock and collection on display. As for food, I dare say it’s the best pizza in town (couldn’t say the same for salad). The dough tasted fresh, airy, chewy and was cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable! No shortage of tables and chairs in/outside. It’s clean and well organised. Haven’t had the chance to dine there when there’s live music so couldn’t comment on that. However I would say, it’s definitely a family friendly place and I’d go back just for the pizza.

🍕 Maxwell Bros: Where Pizza Gets a Tan and Beer Gets a Buddy Maxwell Bros isn’t just serving food it’s serving therapy by the slice. That wood-fired pepperoni pizza? Charred in all the right places, gooey in the middle, and bold enough to make you forget your inbox exists. It’s the kind of pie that makes you lean back, sigh, and consider writing poetry about melted cheese. And the craft beer? Cold, crisp, and clearly chosen by someone who understands the sacred bond between hops and happiness. Together, they’re the ultimate comfort duo like sweatpants for your soul. Outdoor seating, good vibes, and a menu that doesn’t mess around. Maxwell Bros is where you go when you want to feel like everything’s going to be okay… one slice at a time. You can check out their full vibe and menu on Maxwell Bros’ official site A.

This place was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. The ambiance was very chill and welcoming. The decor was unique and had me reminiscing about my younger years. The kitchen staff (Dean & Gus in the pizza section) was absolutely amazing and so willing to make this a great experience. The young lady who took our order (Stephanie) was also very helpful. We ordered the Meatballs & Burrata W/ Flatbread and the Chopped Pepperoni Pizza. The food tasted amazing and was our very quickly. Overall the experience was exceptional and we will defiantly be back again.

Yelp
Love this Pizza & Brewery. It's a real SW Miami Restaurant hidden Gem for sure. The service is pretty good. Standard read of the menu, looking at the craft beer on draft and order at front. It's sit where you like so that is cool. The ambiance is super cool. It has so many different spots, looks almost like different photo ops. Especially with the graffiti of one of my favorites shows the Jetsons to the astronauts. The food which I'm sad I didn't take a picture of my pizza, but the Goat Cheese Salad is always the best. Their craft beer selection is always super authentic and super smooth. Would love to have a cold glass though but hot glass makes the beer come out more.

Yelp
This is such a fun, cute little spot. You wouldn't know it's a pizza place from the outside. Love that!! Their pizza was delicious. We had the Burrata Caprese. It's a "sauceless" pizza, which I wasn't too sure about, but it turned out to be quite tasty. The flavors worked well with each other, and I didn't even miss the sauce. That's a good thing, considering I asked for a side of sauce and never got it. That brings me to the service. It was NOT good. At first, we got looks from everyone as they zipped back and forth around us, but no actual attention. Eventually someone came by for drink orders and just seemed to be walking away as we were asking questions. She seemed quite hurried, but the place was not that busy. A few minutes later a different waiter asks if we've been helped. We said yes. Then, someone else brought us water and took our order. Very confusing. I thought, this could either be a good sign (tons of ppl available and helpful), or a bad sign (no one knows who is doing what and things fall through the cracks due to the disorganization). We ordered the meatball and ricotta appetizer, and the pizza. A fourth person brought our pizza after about 20 minutes or so. I guess she noticed nothing else on the table and asked about our meatballs. We told her we never got them. She eventually brought them out. From that moment, no one came to our table until we flagged them for the check. They didn't check on us, refill our water, ask if the food was ok....nothing. They should really make this a counter service operation. It might be more efficient that way, because the table service expectation is just not being met here. They could've made some extra cash had they come by, because my hubby was ready for another beer. The place has a lot of potential. If the service was better, it would be perfect for a fun date night or family lunch outing. They host games and bingo during the week, and have specials. We are going to give it another try, because the food was delicious. Hopefully we were just there on an off day. Cry Baby is right next door for dessert. Their ice cream is so yummy!!! Their chocolate chip cookie was incredible.

Yelp
How is this place only a little over a mile from where I live, and yet I am only just trying it now!?! This is now my favorite pepperoni pizza in Miami. We just found Maxwell Bros last month and have already been here twice lol. Maxwell Bros has a retro vibe inside which sets it apart from other pizza places I've been to. The service is fast and the pizza is amazing. I love a light, airy crust, and the pizza here fits the bill. They have a good sized menu but I honestly don't know if I'll get to try anything else because I just love the pepperoni pizza here so much! Cry baby ice cream shares a wall with Maxwell Bros, so you can literally walk from one into the other without having to step outside. This is super convenient since I often want ice cream after having pizza :) One thing I will note. I didn't dock a star for it but it's something to mention. Both times I've been here the music is LOUD. I feel like I'm old for complaining about this but I had trouble hearing my husband sitting right in front of me. The music was at that level. And as much as I love reggaeton, I don't really enjoy when it's blasting while I try to eat my food. It was like this when we came the first time on a Sunday at 12:30pm, and on Saturday the second time we were here around 4pm. I will note, the second time the music was lowered after about 20 mins so I think someone might have complained. Just something to mention.

Yelp
Our first time to Maxwells for lunch. Love the pizza and crust!!! Service couldn't have been nicer, she even brought out a water bowl for the dog. Mondays was BOGO beer so of course we had to add that to lunch. Sat by the fans outside and was pretty comfortable for the Miami noon heat. I could enjoy just a bit more cheese on the pizza- but very delicious. We will be back next time we are in the area!!!!

Yelp
This is a super unique, cozy, and casual pizza joint! It's has a family history of being one of the oldest clothing stores, later turned into this pizza joint. The menu selection is good; a variety for everyone. My favorite was the fungus amongst us. It had the perfect amount of onions and garlic, so that it is not over powering. The tomato sauce on the planet express could use a little more taste, as I found it to be slightly bland. The crust was good; soft but crispy, and the dough overall a little floppy. Not my taste but it's okay! Service overall was okay.. We had to grab a couple of things like the cheeses, oregano & hot flakes from another table and ask for plates as well. A solid 7/10 overall

Yelp
Always love a great time and we came to crybaby for their Taylor swift trivia night! Such a fun event and the staff was so accommodating. The frozen drinks were delicious and the ice cream was delicious! The guayaba cookies are always a favorite of mine. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Garlic bread is top notch as well as the pizza! Love the out of the world decor and the laid back feel of the place overall.

Yelp
Besides the loud yelling from what seems like a million children but it's really approximately 60 of them, it's a great spot if you can get past the noise of kids screaming and/or the kid who is old enough to know not to bounce a basketball through the rest with his dad. It was mind blowing that this was occurring, but it's the new "norm". Outside the madness, the pizza and ice cream are amazing! The staff was friendly and kind but the noise was certainly too much for me to say that I would actually return. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great little spot pretty cool happy hours and good food it's definitely the neighborhood place to go to

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite and drink on Saturday night while being in the area. It was very busy for being a Saturday but we were able to find a seat at the bar. Right away we were greeted by the bartender who took our drink order. I love how they have some of the same beers from their sister locations such as Lincoln Beard, Strange Beast and Thorn. Their beer is always rotating but they always have their core beers. We shared two pizzas which were enough for 2 people and had a few slices left over. The pizzas were fresh, hot and they had many options to choose from. Overall this place is very hipster vibes with great music and chill vibes!

Yelp
I had no idea this was owned by the Lincoln's Beard brewery. The beers are the same on tap but I think Lincoln's may have a larger beer selection. Still, the beers were varied, potent, and delicious. The environment inside is welcoming and laid back. The pizza oven is really cool - an authentic neapolitan style oven. The pizza they made was amazing - and I'm not even a pizza person....I had the "Fungus Among Us" pizza - made with mushrooms, caramelized onions and chimichurri sauce. It was so good! My husband had the "Planet Express" with sausage and red peppers and he liked a lot too. The menu has a lot to choose from. This is definitely our go-to spot now for pizza & beer whenever we find ourselves in the Palmetto Bay area. If you like a hip, laid back vibe, a huge variety of delicious pizza and want to pair it with a cold brew - you owe it to yourself to visit Maxwell Brothers. I know we'll be back.

Yelp
My daughter recommended this place and well let's just say the food is unbelievably delicious and inexpensive. I highly suggest you check this place out and not take my word on it..I was actually taught that if I didn't want my pizza charred to let them know I want my pizza a blonde...The service was good for having a lot of people being here. Honestly it's a really good place to take the family...Just a heads up a lot of families go here so expect a lot of kids. Also finding parking is tough but definitely worth trying.

Yelp
Nothing speaks my language more than pizza and beer. This is not normally my area and we were looking for a good spot to have a chill Sunday brew. Much to our surprise this is a popular spot in the Cutler area. It's got the same funky and laid back vibe of Lincoln's Beard Brewery - and for good reason - it has the same owner. It shows with the friendly service and cool culture. The pizza.was.phenomenal. Best Neapolitan style pizza I've ever had. Huge selection of pizzas. My wife has the fungus among us mushroom pizza with caramelized onions and chimi. It was divine. I had the Planet Express with sausage and red peppers. Fantastic pie as well. Perfectly cooked, not overdone. They also have a large selection of hot sauces and brought out a tray. I tried em all! Awesome vibe, would definitely be back for a pie and a pint. Or two.

Yelp
My family and I have come here at least 1-2 a month for the last 3 years. Hands down some of my favorite pizza. Our go to order is the Meat Lovers for the adults, a cheese pizza for the kids and cheese breads to share. One of my other favorite pizzas is their burrada pizza, so yummy. We have tried the charcuterie board and that's fun to share with the adults. They have locally brewed beer on rotation but it's always delicious. Also, WINE SLUSHIES! The atmosphere is kid friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. The music is fun and upbeat with a few games or movies on a couple of tvs. The service is usually pretty fast just beware it can get busy FAST.
google avatar

Luis Felipe Z.

Yelp
Great environment, very nice service, and excellent pizza! Ordered the Meatballs and Burrata as an appetizer. It can have a couple of more meatballs as it only had 3 because they were delicious but that's just me. Lots of sauce and with the burrata made the perfect blend. Then ordered the PBAY and Meat Lovers Pizzas. The PBAY Pizza had a nice balsamic glaze which gave it a nice sweet touch that contrasted with the strong flavors of the prosciutto and arugula. The Meat Lovers had all the nice meats from bacon to ham, and sausage. What distinguishes these pizzas is that they're not fatty as others are. Also had one of their Pilsner beers which was very refreshing for these hot summer Floridian days. In summary, the Percy pizza place. PS: there's an ice cream place next to it!!! 100% recommended!!!

Yelp
This place is a vibe for me. Reggae/ska music, young kids working but hanging out together, hipster meets 70's decor, good pizza and beer. A neighborhood staple that mixes both comfort and nostalgia to my high school days. For the price, the pizzas are a little small, but the quality is there. My husband and son and I popped in for a midday lunch/pick me up and boy it did the trick! We ordered a meats pizza and Italian pizza as well as a couple sunny deez beers. The pizza was delicious. Sauce was on point and cheese wasn't overwhelming. Having the highly alcoholic beer accompany the pizza was a great touch. After eating delicious pizza, sipping on refreshing double IPA's in a cozy atmosphere where employees happily interacted and sang to reggae music my serotonin levels instant shot up and I left feeling better overall. This place is not just a place to eat but a whole vibe.

Yelp
My in law showed me this place! Apparently it's very popular! Didn't hear about it until I moved down south! But wow Defintely doesn't disappoint . Walking in , the aesthetic reminded me of the past (in a good way) . Pizza was yummy and crispy! Multiple options of food not just pizza! It is a popular spot so you'll wait a bit , but there's plenty of seating so the wait is never long ! Family / kid friendly !

Yelp
I love this pizzeria. Meat lover is my fav with a blonde ale . Good ambiance and a great staff.

Yelp
What a great time this place was and the pizza top notch. We went to see a new country artist perform. The place was packed, however service was great and quick. The food was delicious and the drinks too. It was a great and happy ambiance. We never expected such a spectacular night, hope they more nights like this.
google avatar

Alfredo H.

Yelp
This restaurant will transport you back to the 70's , it's great to take kids and relax while having pizza and beer, the pizzas are ok but not enough to call them great , they lacked flavor and they hardly put any pizza sauce. Having said that the specialty cookies they have in the ice cream bar are incredibly delicious, especially the Guava ones. It's worth going for the experience.
google avatar

Jesined C.

Yelp
This place is located in Palmetto Bay, never really realized it until a friend recommended it to me. I really enjoyed the Quatro Formagi pizza, with the add-ons (pineapple and banana peppers). It was just the right amount of cheesiness, it's layered with Asiago, Gorgonzola, mozzarella, and Parmesan! If you are a cheese lover, this is the pizza to order. Unfortunately the Wise Guy pizza wasn't as delicious. My husband ordered this one and it was a bit soggy, imo. This pizza had Capicola, banana pepper Rings, red pepper flakes, oregano, and a House Sauce. Maybe the house sauce wasn't thick enough making the crust soggy. Overall, the service was okay. It's a cool spot to hangout and have a beer, they have many different options on tap. I ordered a tropical slushee which was delicious, I highly recommend you try it out. There's an ice cream place connected to this spot called Cry Baby. They have many different flavors to chose from and even pints to go. They also sell cookies that looked delicious.

Yelp
Well back at Maxwell's today guys and as expected everything from the service to the food was awesome. Today I had the Maxwell's Meatballs which come with some home made bread for lunch as it was awesome. "Herbie" the pizza oven was cranking out pizzas with a vengeance and everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and their company! Lots of lounging around going on in the back where the sofas are located as well. Atmosphere as always is very laid back and chill and the staff are as friendly as ever. All in all things seem to be alive and well at Maxwell Bros and again if you have never been, you definitely want to stop by have some good food and try their beers which are great. Enjoy!
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
Right off of US1. Maxwell's is always busy! They have a bunch of events throughout the week from trivia to live music. We took this pizza to go but next time, we'll definitely dine in. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the options but the must try here is the pepperoni.
google avatar

Davon L.

Yelp
All the pizzas were great, ultimately preferred the cheese and pepperoni pizza out of the 4 we had gotten (cheese, pepperoni, arugula, and bianca). We weren't able to order online due to how busy the shop was in person. So instead we had to go in person to order the takeout which took overall about 45 minutes after we placed our order. Place had a nice atmosphere, they were in the middle of bingo night and I was told that they hold events like that pretty often, so it was fun to see a bunch of families/groups gathered just having a good time and eating some good pizza.
google avatar

Janet T.

Yelp
My favorite was the P bay special with prosciutto, arugula and balsamic glaze. They use a brick pizza oven so the pizzas had a nice flavor. Each pizza is about 12 inches so a bit small if you're sharing with a big group, so I recommend getting a few if you're hungry. The restaurant was pretty full this day so a bit of a wait about 30 minutes for take out and online ordering was unavailable. Overall, service was good.

Rudy C.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and great beer. What else do you need? I'll continue to come here especially with the daily specials they offer.

Bradley V.

Yelp
The server said he told the cook my order, a meat lovers pie with extra cheese and extra well done but when I got home the meat was cold like just out of the fridge which made cheese cold from the cold meat and not extra done, oh well ‍ ! ...maybe better next time.!

Yelp
Well I am extremely disappointed in this place. We arrived at 9:35pm on today Wednesday. We we stood around for about 20 minutes trying to figure out if they' were going to sit us or if we sit ourselves, and at 10 o'clock on the dot a female came up to us and said "I'm sorry guys the kitchen is closed." Well I said "the sign outside says you're open till 11." Her response was that the kitchen closes at 10, but the bar stays open till 11. I am pretty sure and convinced not to mention that I know state statue and you cannot have a bar open without serving any type of food in it. As a matter of fact, the state statue reads that you must cut the drinkers off 1 to two hours before the rest of your food service closes down to minimize the intoxication that proceeds the driving, which Gives me a reason to believe that they are contributing to more of the DUIs in the street. Also, if you're going to turn off your oven an hour before your sign says you're closed your sign should clearly state that. I do not recommend this place at all.

Thomas B.

Yelp
The boys running the place are awesome and the service is great and the food is even better but the music is ATROCIOUS. The crew working needs power over the music decision. I saw several groups leave because of the music.

Yelp
After winning a gift card from Bingo at Strange Beast I was told I could use the gift card at any of their sister breweries. Since I hadn't been to Maxwell yet I figured it was a great time to try it out. First off when you walk in it's big, airy and has a cool retro feel about it. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. We came on a Thursday and to our surprise it was trivia night so we made a team name and joined in. Be warned that it gets packeddd (at least on this night it was). They offer beer, boozy slushies and wine. I went with the Morning Glory and it was light and refreshing. We also ordered two pizzas. The Margherita pizza was delicious and simple but I personally love this type of pizza and always order it. We also went with the "I'm Italian" and subbed the meatballs for the babe froman sausage (I heard such good things about it). This pizza was so good and filling. Pro Tip: next door (they are connected) is "Cry Baby" that sells super delicious ice cream. We ended the night with maybe one of the best coffee ice creams I've had. Although we didn't win Trivia we had a blast and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Pizza was just meh Service was very nice Ambiance was good too We went when the establishment had been opened for about 3-4 months at the time and the server was very nice and gave a thorough introduction of their beer choices, we even got to sample a few. We ordered pizza as our meal and we weren't crazy about it, it was ok

Yelp
Amazing pizza!!! Definitely a place to check out. Staff is friendly and the service is fast!

Yelp
Great pizza... loved the atmosphere too! It was busy even at 5:30 on a Friday. Nice selection of craft beer. Wish we had room left to try some ice cream...next time!

Yelp
This is hands down one of the most unique concepts to hit Miami and it delivers on the food!! Delicious delicious pies made right in front of you. Super cool vibe and an epic ice cream spot next door. Highly recommend this for a large group of friends, family dinner out or date night without the frills!

Yelp
My family and I love this place. Maxwell is a great local pizza shop with and awesome selection of craft beers on tap. The wait staff here are very friendly and attentive to all customer needs. They have a great selection of all kinds of different pizza selections as well as the regular plain janes for individuals who aren't so adventurous with their pizza selections. They have seating at the bar, inside. And even out on the terrace. Maxwells has quickly become a a locals favorite. Come check them out, you surely won't be disappointed. They are also married to a get ice cream shop "crybaby"

Yelp
I am thrilled to share my enchanting experience with the mouthwatering cookies at Maxwell Bros. Clothing Store. Prepare to embark on a flavor journey unlike any other! Upon stepping into Maxwell Bros., I was immediately enticed by the aroma of freshly baked cookies wafting through the air. Curiosity piqued, I approached the counter to sample their delectable creations, and I was met with an array of irresistible options. Each cookie at Maxwell Bros. is a masterpiece in its own right. From classic chocolate chip to indulgent double chocolate chunk, every bite is a symphony of flavor and texture. The cookies boast a perfect balance of sweetness and richness, leaving taste buds tingling with delight

Yelp
Maxwells is one of our go-to pizza places! It's right in my neighborhood. There are so many positives about this place. The pizza is delicious, the beer is on point and the ambiance is always fun! They have DJs on the weekend, trivia on Thursdays and even Bingo too. Their prosciutto pizza is one of my top choices but really you can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. They also have meatballs, paninis and salads which are equally as delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great for families and friends.

Yelp
Each of us had pizzas. I had the barrata Caprese was even better this time around and I asked for more balsamic. Daughter, who was celebrating her birthday, had the surf lovin pineapple ham. It could have used some more ham and pineapple. Husband had the margarita pizza but the tomatoes was the sauce, & son had the meat lovers again which he believes it's the best because it's packed with sliced and chopped small meats. Not showing is the cheesy bread appetizer and today it had little more oregano and was delish. Dad and daughter had the morning glory beer and son and I enjoyed a coke and lemonade. Good food, Heat game, and fun atmosphere. For a Monday night they had some people and not too many golf carts due to the intermittent rain showers. Service was excellent and we're getting to know the staff here. We had a running joke tonight about the water. You had to be there.

Yelp
My go too spot. Love coming here alone with family or friends. By far the best pizza in town. Gets pack but will always see you. I totally recommend this place. The service is quick and ambiance is great. The decor is cool and sometimes they have a band playing which is nice too.

Yelp
THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA SPOT IN PALMETTO BAY! Wednesdays they have free BINGO and I'm there each week! The pizza is good, the vibe is fun and best part it's family friendly so even the kiddos have a good time! The pizzas are unique and the meatballs are so good you went to eat like 5!

Yelp
Super casual and cool place. They had live music when I went. We we started off with a charcuterie board 10/10 the hot honey it came with was delicious! Then we ordered the Pizza Bianca, so good and filling totally recommend if you love garlic! Perfect place for a casual date night or an outing with friends

Yelp
If you like pizza and beer with a casual vibe, then this is your place. Staff is friendly and the beer is always cold. To me pizza and beer is always a good idea. They have a couple of TV's as well and plenty of seating at the bar or at tables inside and outside. They have a large pizza oven and the pies are made to order. I have probably tried about 5 different ones already and none have disappointed. On Friday and Saturday night there is always good music by DJ's. I personally love Yacht Rock nights. Check out their social media pages for the weekly line-up. There is also ice cream next door at Cry Baby so you can grab some dessert when you are done with pizza!

Yelp
I've seen Yelp friends, especially those living down south mention this spot, check in but post pizza pictures instead of clothing. Having finally gotten to the area this Saturday afternoon, I can confirm they do sell some clothing- tshirts and such. However, I'll let you in on the secret that it's really a great neighborhood pizza bar. Located right on US1, it's catty corner on the end of plaza ("end cap" as we call it in architecture:) The lack of signage plays well into the speakeasy / hidden name vibe. There were a bunch of TVs to catch the Saturday afternoon games as well. Since i wasn't in the mood to day drink, I stuck to water but they do have a large variety of taps - including some local breweries like Lincoln Beard. I'll have to make my way back for those. As far as food, I enjoyed a couple of huge, juicy meatballs served with a generous amount of rich marinara sauce and a dollop of cool creamy mozzarella. Parmesan shavings added a nice bit to the flavor. Though the meatballs were plenty filling, I needed to carb up and thus ordered their "Surfin USA" aka a Hawaiian pizza. The size is just right to enjoy solo and it had plenty of pineapple and ham. The crust also had the right mix of fluff and dough, straight from their pizza oven.

Yelp
I finally made it here! I'm in Cutler Bay and we are in need of cool and yummy places like this. We stopped in for a lunch on the light side. I let my companion choose the pizza, the Burrata Caprese. It was I hate to say, just ok. What turned me off was that the burrata was soooo cold. I realize it's not to be cooked or heated, but I do wish they had some out at room temperature before serving. So it felt more like a whipped cream. Maybe I'm just not a burrata fan, idk. The crust and the rest of the ingredients were very good. We split the pizza because we wanted a light lunch. It's not too large though for just one person. The salads were so fresh and generously portioned. They hit the spot. Both dressings were delicious and the staff didn't hesitate to give us a little extra when we asked. The wait staff was amazing. They were friendly, informative, and very efficient. We came at a very slow time so there weren't many patrons. But I can tell by their energy and quick feet that they keep the place going when it's more full. The ambiance is cool and quirky. I've driven by and seen this place packed with families on the regular. So it must have great service at all times. The only reason I didn't give it the fifth star is because I didn't super enjoy my pizza. But, I will be back and try another! I think its a good gamble.

Yelp
I stumbled on the coolest pizza in south Florida and all I am still excited about it. After an afternoon walking around the nearby Deering estate I was looking for a bite to eat and maybe a sweet treat. A mere six minutes later and I was this haven of deliciousness. Contrary to the name and even the window display, Maxwell Bros. Clothing Store is not a clothing store at all, it's a a pizza and beer restaurant (although they do sell a couple of souvenir t-shirts). In 1866 after the Civil War, Robert Maxwell opened what would become the oldest family-owned clothing store in the United States. Four generations and 14 decades later, Roberts great-great-great grandson, Todd Maxwell along with his business partner Lincoln's Beard Brewery owner John Falco, are paying homage to Robert with this hand-crafted beer and pizza restaurant. Opened just last year, this place checks all my boxes with its history, quirky decor, and amazing pizza. The dining room has a large bar where you can order and eat or choose one of the dining tables inside or under the pergola outside. In the rear of the restaurant is a vintage living room and a wall that celebrates the history of the Maxwell family. The Maxwell menu features small bites, salads, and handmade pizzas along with 10 taps of beer which they brew on site or at their brewery. I ordered a $12.50 Margherita pizza crafted with house sauce, mozzarella, basil, and olio. Other pizzas include Fungus Among Us, Caprese, and Surfin USA. My pizza was fired up in Herbie, the custom-made and tile decorated pizza oven. It was a simple pizza made great by the fresh ingredients and delicious sauce. It had the delicious coal charred crust which turns your fingers black. I'm already kicking myself for not taking a pizza Bianaca made with mozzarella, roasted garlic cloves, caramelized onion, sesame-studded crust, and parmesan with me too so I am definitely coming back. Oh and don't forget getting ice cream for dessert and the amazing Cry-Baby next door.

Yelp
Small parking, very loud but the worst part was we ordered two pizzas, the first piece my daughter ate had a bug cooked in to it. She was so nauseous and upset we informed the waitress and left

Yelp
Tried it. It was good but not memorable, expect for the arugula salad, which was delicious! Ordered the Fungus and Planet Express pizzas. Also ordered a side of flat bread.

Yelp
I really like this place but I have to mention the ridiculous prices!!! 18 dollars for three meatballs!!!!!. And 20 dollars for a tiny pizza. Service is great and so is the atmosphere but not worth the money.
