Well-priced omakase in London that’s actually cozy, laid back, and delivers on quality is not easy to come by, but Mayha really did. I went this week and was honestly blown away.
The vibe is unpretentious and warm, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed rather than stiff or overly formal. The pacing was spot on too, each course flowed into the next and felt thoughtful without trying too hard.
Some standouts for me: the sea bass with that perfect lemony brightness, the scallop nigiri that literally melted in my mouth, and the South African–inspired sorbet, which was the best kind of surprise ending.
If you’re in London and want a laid-back omakase with phenomenal food and real value, Mayha is definitely worth it.
