"There’s a real sense of style to this small Japanese restaurant that relocated from Beirut to London. The chic interior is dominated by a curved wooden counter where the chefs take centre stage, producing a highly seasonal omakase menu. Tree-inspired lights above the counter cast an intimate glow, while a sense of theatre runs throughout the dishes. Luxury ingredients are to the fore and the menu is dominated by a succession of sushi." - Michelin Inspector

Where was ‘Black Bag’ Filmed? All the Filming Locations for the Sexy New Spy Thriller

Serving as the setting for the spy chief Arthur Steiglitz’s lunch meeting, this Japanese restaurant in Marylebone is portrayed as a beautiful and fancy spot, perfectly suited to a powerful character’s daytime rendezvous. The production used the elegant dining room for a day, and despite the plot involving a horrifying lunch choice, the comment is that absolutely none of the actual menu options at Mayha are horrifying. - Phil de Semlyen

Absolutely first class omakase experience in the heart of London. Thoroughly recommend. Lovely and attentive service, the chef diligently works on serving you up piece after piece of delicious sushi, but also creative dishes in between. Lovely intimate setting, with lovely lighting. It was a relaxing lunch where we could take our time savoring every morsel.

Amazing omasake experience with a decent volume of food. I was so full afterwards and can barely finish all. The food is so tasty with very fresh ingredients. The chefs are cooking right in front of you. Presentations are fab. Service is really good too.

What an absolutely excellent place in the heart of marylebone on chiltern street. Coming to you from the creators of Meat the Fish, Mayha is an intimate 12 seater omakase restaurant with a very very very underrated bar downstairs. The chef is incredibly talented and the bar team as well. The food was amazing and the drinks really were creative. I loved everything about the place and I highly recommend the bar for all you chiltern firehouse regulars that like me can’t find a new place to call home!

Google
Definitely the best Omakase in London. Shocking this place doesn’t have a Michelin star yet. Every dish is exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a taste of Japan.

Located on a quiet street in Marylebone, this is our new go to unassuming Omakase place. The food is so so delicious, clever, super fresh, and elegantly presented. You will love every bite!!!! We’d go more often if we were local, even though it is quite expensive (better price point than New York given the quality of seafood). Disappointingly, the bar downstairs was closed last time we went but they seated us early and served us a glass of Prosecco, The bar I think is closed once a week so check the hours. We found the executive chef to be very interesting and have had a chance for a quick chat with him after dinner.

My first time trying Omakase with my friends and with this experience we had left everything to the chef to decide so we didn't know what we are going to eat. The decoration on the ceiling had pretty lights, the layout of the table made the experience felt like you was in Japan, the service from the staff was very attentive, quick and accurate. The sushi chef done a great job at making the delicious sushi and with each sushi piece we place in our mouth and we slowly savour the taste as each bite was so good. We also shared a bottle of Japanese Saki - Nanbubijin Aiyama - the taste felt pretty clean and crisp, I can't really remember the flavour or I may have given a wrong description of the taste so i may have to try the Saki again! The team overall done a great job and I truly enjoyed my stay, I would definitely recommend you try this place!

Amazing sushi selections! I love every single dish! The service was great! Only one small thing, if you can slow down the process a bit. When I came back from the lady’s room, I had the drink, the salad on my table. And very quickly the fish was next to me. For me, it was too rush, I prefer to finish one dish and wait for ten minutes to get another one.

Very elegant, calming and delicious dining experience. It was a real pleasure to watch the team create and quietly and discreetly engage each other and the diners to provide excellent service. The view you get from sitting at the sushi bar was fabulous. The concentration and ease with which the Chef operated was like watching live art. The food was flawless- this is a perfect way to introduce people to sushi. Small chic touches such a slippers, the sushi plate being wiped clean after each piece is provided to you, and the pleasure the people working brought forward was bliss. What a delightful way to spend a long lunch hour - dinner is probably sublime. Will definitely return if I'm in London again....
