Where To Eat In Barcelona When You’re Sick Of Tapas - Barcelona - The Infatuation

"If the top floor of the Grand Hyatt in Pedralbes isn’t where you’d typically go looking for the latest dining hotspot, you’re missing out. Maymanta is substance over style with swoony rooftop views and beautiful people hoping to make it into the society pages. You’ll find all the usual Peruvian suspects including more delicately presented riffs on raw fish than you can count. Dishes like the octopus tiradito or the red tuna ceviche strike the perfect balance of spice and zippy acidity. Still, the one to zero in on is the bite-sized, crunchy corn tortita topped with a creamy shrimp tartare and crispy baby camaroncitos, or tiny deep-fried shrimp. As for their pisco sours, they might be the best we’ve ever had." - isabelle kliger

This is truly my favorite place in Barcelona. The view over the entire city is absolutely stunning - it never gets old. I love that the food is available all day long, the atmosphere is cozy, and there’s always a beautiful energy here. During the day, it’s calm and peaceful - perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet tea. In the evening, it becomes more lively, sometimes with live music or singing, which only adds to the charm. It feels special every time. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a romantic date, catch up with friends over tea, or even just sit alone and take in the view. I keep coming back, and it always feels just right. 🌟

Lovely place with a panoramic view of the city. It was Friday and I didn't book a table, but they still squeeze me in, which I appreciated. Cocktails are nice. Food is well cooked and nicely presented, though portion could be on the small side for what you pay. Very popular place. Would come back next time I'm in town.

The food was very nice, but the DJ’s music a total letdown! We could not talk and enjoy the meal, as the music was so loud you felt like in the disco! What a stress! Can’t talk around the table, eating to the beat of the music! We have asked various times to please pull down a bit the volume, which the Dj did for 5-10min….. All in all, nice food, beautiful plates, but we will not repeat!

Delicious Peruvian food. The portions are smaller to the restaurant in Ibiza. The restaurant has great views over the city. The DJ music was a bit loud for my taste.

An exceptional restaurant with delicious Peruvian cuisine and a touch of fine dining flair. The portions are generous, which is a pleasant surprise for this level of quality. Everyone will find something to fall in love with — from classic ceviche to more creative, modern interpretations. On top of that, the restaurant offers a stunning view over the city of Barcelona, making the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Maymanta delivers the kind of culinary experience that proves Peruvian cuisine deserves a global spotlight. Every dish was a statement. The flavors were bold yet refined. The ceviche was vibrant and perfectly balanced. You could taste the precision and pride in every bite.
