Nice dive bar, in a good way. Good food and atmosphere. Service was a little lacking but that was mainly due to waitress not feeling her job or something. Worth checking out.... if you get a pleasant waitress!

The legendary classic roast beef sandwich was piled high with delicately sliced garlic seasoned roast beef, sliced pickled banana peppers and thinly sliced raw onions on a soft rye bun with a side on creamy yummy coleslaw and au jus dipping sauce. The spicy Italian beef was loaded with Giardiniera. Yum! The steak fries were overcooked, crispy. You easily get 2 meals out of a sandwich for leftovers. Lots of food reasonably priced at $18. If you love good food, good service and a dive bar vibe, you will love this NE bar and grill.

Everything was delicious. Roast beef was a touch dry but man that au jus made all the difference! Really good. The Slax Fries were on point. Only complaint is the served portion of au jus was not nearly enough for a whole sandwich. Enough for half.

Stopped in early Saturday night with my wife and another couple. The place has a bit of a dive-bar vibe—in the best way. We grabbed a booth, and while it was a bit on the loud side, it was the good kind of loud—people having fun and enjoying themselves. The food was really good, and the portions were generous. Overall, a great spot for a night out.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty quiet but there were a few people at very the Bar. It got busier about an hour later around 1pm. This is a classic dive bar. It is full of interesting posters, signs and photos. I really like this place and I plan to come back one evening to chill have some drinks, listen to I music and just enjoy the atmosphere. This place has its own character and the service n is pretty good. Those who know Mayslacks love this place.

They perfected spicy. This sandwich didn't make me sweat, but my mouth was definitely tasting the spice. The best part, the onion rings. 100% best onion rings I've ever tastes

Such a great bar with amazing energy! The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, and the crowd made it feel welcoming and fun. Huge bonus points for having Hamm’s beer on tap ❤️ that alone made my night. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

Mayslack’s did not disappoint! When Jess was bringing “The Original”, I thought she was bringing another customer a stacked salad, nope, it was my STACKED ROAST BEEF SANDWICH. Jess took great care of. The fries were terrific. The wings were excellent. The ambience is perfect! We must return!
