Good place for some harder to find whiskeys, with friendly and smart staff about the product they sell. I did not try any food, only there for a drink but it was a very pleasant experience. This place is half bar half restaurant designed very nicely. It's an open space, plenty of room and high ceilings. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking to try some new American whiskey that they haven't had before.

The experience started with a very friendly server. Great way to start the evening. She suggested a flight of bourbons so we could try different types (great idea). Started with Roasted Oysters, Shrimp Toast and gumbo. All were delicious with the Shrimp Toast being the best. We had the Maysville burger and the Fava Bean Agnolotti. Forgot to take a pic since we dove right in immediately. Fun atmosphere!

Outstanding food and cocktails. To start we ordered the corn bread with hot honey and old fashions. The corn bread was good, though a little firm, and the old fashions were made perfectly. I then had gumbo, which was probably the best I have had outside the south, and tried my friends burger, which was also amazing. For dessert we had the fried apple pie and vanilla ice cream, alos delicious. I would gladly go back due to the plethora of items on the menu that looked delicious.

Came here for lunch. Food was excellent and fairly priced. Place is really clean. I got a burger + butternut squash soup. I've eaten a lot of different butternut squash soups, and this might be one of the top five I've ever had.

As you might have guessed, best reason to go is for the amazing whiskey selection and great vibes/decor. Highly recommend going for an early drink (get there before 6pm any day of the week to get the “early bourbon” half price on select bourbons and cocktails) and then ordering dinner. Great place to eat at the bar. The burger is very solid and the roasted chicken on grits entree is amazing. Food is a tiny bit overpriced but only slightly more than other New American type spots in this neighborhood.

Another great NY whiskey bar. Decent prices (for NYC) and cool location. Food was decent, service was good and the selection of Bourbon and Rye is great! A must visit for any fan of American Whiskey

Came here for a rainy Tuesday night dinner and had a fantastic meal! There's a vast whiskey selection and some fun cocktails as well. I had the duck risotto and "Trial by Fire" (bourbon, pineapple, and jalapeño cocktail) - would definitely recommend both!
