"Meet Me at Mazzarro Mazzarro Italian Market is, hands down, one of THE BEST things about living in St. Pete, FL. First, there are the smells: freshly roasted coffee, bread baking in the ovens, wheels and wheels of parmesan cheese, meatballs cooking in the kitchen, and marinating olives. Then, there are the tastes: breads of all kinds, cannoli, biscotti, cookies, cakes, and pies—all freshly made daily on the premises. There are all kinds of pasta, freshly made right there behind the glass window, plus homemade pasta sauces, a vast array of cheeses and fresh cut meats, wine, and the coffee—oh, the coffee—freshly roasted, again, right here. Then there is the spirit of the place. A rambling, colorful, busy spot, it is where we all go to rub elbows with other lovers of all things Mazzarro. We cram around the coffee bar, eating a cannoli and having a cappuccino, or we sit at one of many tables in the covered patio and eat a meatball sandwich served on a freshly made roll. Oh gosh, and how can I forget the gelato?!"

This place is not for the weak! 😂 For warning this place is crowded and it does feel like you are in Italy for a bit. I do not mind the crowds because it is worth it and I see why they are crowded! The food is amazing there! When going to the deli be sure to have your order ready because if you grab a ticket and they call you and you don’t know what you want they will tell you to step back, grab another ticket when ready. It is fast paste! I did love the experience though. Going throughout the market they have great ingredients and a winery where you can sample on certain days. They also have a coffee shop with the best made coffee I have ever had and amazing pastries!!! Very good place to eat, take out, or get ingredients!

We came to Mazzaro’s with high expectations after doing tons of research, and somehow it still managed to blow us away! We had planned exactly what we wanted from the sandwich counter, but the amazing Dominic helping was helping us suggestioned something different — and absolutely nailed it. His energy, friendliness, and genuine passion for the food made the experience even better. (Shout out, Dominic!) The market itself is like a playground of Italian excitement — a bakery tucked here, a fresh pasta section there, and even a hidden coffee bar right in plain sight. It truly felt like we were transported somewhere abroad. Outside, the wine garden and fountain area were just as magical. $6 glasses of wine, lots of laughter, and a lively gentleman cracking jokes with customers and staff made it a full experience, not just a meal. We’ll be back — next time with luggage! Well done, Mazzaro’s!

What an incredible experience! Amazing food and Italian products and other surprises. Great staff well-stocked nice and clean I made a gift basket for a community event and I had so much fun shopping for items. I went home with way too much but I live 90 minutes away and I'm grateful that I loaded up our family is very happy with the goodies I brought home

Google
So much talk about this place- and it’s well deserved! I had sensory overload with so many great food options and in such a beautiful old Italy atmosphere. I had to take a quick break and enjoy a cappuccino and cannoli and plan what I wanted to buy. Prices were very reasonable. As expected it is a bit crowded, so parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it! Can’t wait to go back!

Omg I think I died and went to heaven. This place is amazing, so many food options. Fresh meat, made to order sandwiches, coffee bar with delicious coffee. You could literally spend 2 hours in this place. The employees are friendly and ready to answer all your questions. They have pre packaged food that you can take home and heat up as well. We came here before heading to the beach. Ordered sandwiches and got some delicious pastries. Parking can be tight especially when it is busy...which it always seems to be. This is definitely gonna be a monthly trip for us as we are almost 2hrs away. Bring a cooler and go crazy....we definitely did!!

A Culinary Odyssey at Mazzaro’s Italian Market Mazzaro’s Italian Market, nestled at 2909 22nd Ave N in St. Petersburg, Florida, isn’t just a market—it’s a sensory symphony, a love letter to Italian cuisine that’s earned its crown as America’s top-rated grocery for a reason. From the moment I stepped through its doors, the air buzzed with urgency, like a culinary battlefield where passionate food lovers, armed with multiple tickets from the deli, cheese, and meat counters, orchestrated their assault on flavor. Even on a quiet weekday, the place thrummed with life, nearly sweeping me away in a tide of eager shoppers. A Feast for the Senses Where does one begin in this labyrinth of gastronomic treasures? The aroma of freshly roasted Mazzaro’s House Blend Coffee mingles with the warm, yeasty embrace of Crusty Italian Bread baked daily. Shelves brim with homemade wonders, each label proudly declaring its in-house or artisanal origins. The Fresh Lobster Ravioli, crafted behind glass, dances in boiling water, while the 12-Layer Sausage Lasagna, a masterpiece by Executive Chef Joshua Breen, beckons from the deli case. Every corner reveals a new delight: glistening Marinated Olive Medley, shelves of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Puglia, and a bakery overflowing with Cannoli Siciliani and Sfogliatelle Napoletane. The Heart of Mazzaro’s The passion here is palpable. Robert Smith, a maestro of hard-to-source ingredients, spoke with infectious zeal about treasures like Moliterno al Tartufo, a sheep’s milk cheese infused with Alba-sourced truffles, housed in the market’s legendary cheese cave. With over 425 varieties, from creamy House-Made Mozzarella by Chris to pungent Parmigiano-Reggiano, the cave is a pilgrimage site for cheese lovers. The wine cellar, boasting over 1,000 bottles, offers gems like Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, with tastings that turn browsing into a celebration. Robert’s words painted a vivid picture, much like the murals outside. The Mazzaro Effect Filming a TV show here, we explored the “Mazzaro Effect”—an irresistible pull that keeps customers returning, some driving hours, others flying across states. The market’s soul shines in its quirky decor—funky statues, whimsical trinkets—and the dynamic energy of its staff. Even on the slowest day, the parking lot was a gauntlet, a testament to Mazzaro’s one-stop allure. It’s a place where you don’t just shop; you embark on a mission, grabbing tickets for the Deli Counter, Cheese Cave, and Meat Market to time your haul perfectly. A Lunch to Remember Lunch stopped us in our tracks. The #1 Italian Sandwich—piled high with ham, Genoa salami, capicola, mortadella, and provolone—was a flavor explosion, each bite amplified by the Housemade Butter-Flavored Roll. The Chicken Salad Sandwich, creamy yet vibrant, and the Steak, Cheese, and Mushroom Sub, dripping with savory juices, were unforgettable. The Caprese, with its House-Made Mozzarella and ripe tomatoes, sang of summer. And the bread—oh, that Soft Italian Loaf, warmed my soul with every bite. Joshua Breen’s 12-Layer Sausage Lasagna was a revelation, its richly described layers of House-Made Ingredients a reason to return. Value and Versatility The value stunned us. For a market of this caliber, the prices felt like a gift—sandwiches generous enough for two meals, pastries like Amaretti Cookies and Tiramisu priced to share. Mazzaro’s is a one-stop shop for any occasion, from Sunday dinners to grand parties. Need ingredients for a feast? Grab Fresh Pappardelle Pasta, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, and Prosciutto di Parma. Hosting a crowd? Their Party Platters, loaded with Soppressata and Asiago Cheese, will steal the show. The Casa di Mazzaro offers cookbooks to recreate the magic at home. A Lasting Impression Mazzaro’s isn’t just a market; it’s a memory etched in flavor. The Cannoli Siciliani crunched with sweet ricotta, the Espresso Roast Coffee fueled our adventure, and the Alba Truffle haunts my dreams. I held off on the Mazzaro’s hats, but I’m already planning my return—multiple fligh

I could spend a week in this amazing Italian market! I would eat all day, every day! Of course, I would try every wine and cheese! My goodness, how can you write all your thoughts about this amazing place in one little space! I love Italian and I love food, I love bread! Sweets are not my thing but boy they sure have a lot to choose from! This is a piece of heaven for me. The butchers are wonderful and I have yet to get a piece of meat there that was anything but great! although I must also say we like the hotdogs there too, lol if you get the opportunity to go here, please go, get some fresh pasta. Try to choose. I guarantee you’ll have to go back because there’s so much to choose from. I’ve never been to a market I like better and I’m 79 years old!

Yelp
Just come here! Anything you need that is Italian they have, they even have a sprinkle of Pittsburgh vibes as per the cashier the owners are from Pgh. There is a number system for each counter. The sandwich and sides counter is busy busy. There may be a lot of people but a lot are waiting after ordering. When your number is called it's game time, know what you want! We tried the Italian and chicken parm, both tasty. The anti pasta was good. The traditional Italian rainbow cookies very tasty, the white coated ones weren't as good. All of the other baked goods we tried were great. Missing the Burgh? They sell cans of IC Light! Had I been staying in the area longer I would've bought more, I'll def be back.

Yelp
This place is perfect and can do no wrong. Well worth the crowds and chaos. Workers are super nice amidst the crazy as well. I need to start going more often for lunch!

Yelp
This place is exactly what you'll read in the all wonderful reviews. It's fantastic! When going be prepared for it to be busy and a bit hectic. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are very responsible. We purchased their Chicken Alfredo Penne to-go dinners and a small tiramisu. Both were absolutely fabulous. I regret not going sooner to purchase more items during our week stay in Florida.

Yelp
Everyone loves their sandwiches and all that I went there around 9am on a Saturday when they opened, and it was already packed Could barely get through the crowd. Especially at the bakery, you have to take a number first and wait for them to call you before you can order They didn't have tiramisu but an espresso cake, which honestly tasted more like a chocolate cake to me. But my friend loved it

Yelp
Stopped by in the middle of the week for lunch and the place was absolutely packed. I can't even imagine what it must be like being here on the weekend, you got to have really good patience. I could spend a few hundred dollars in this place no problem. Ended up getting a nice deli sandwich, the number seven, which was very good. Additionally I got several items to go to bring home. There gnocchi was amazing, the Gorgonzola stuffed pillows were incredible and their basil cream sauce is something I would love to be able to make. I can't wait to come back and spend a couple hours here.

Yelp
This place is huge. Market, coffee shop, meat, bakery, sandwiches, etc. The service is friendly and helpful. They have everything Italian. We ordered a sandwich. It took about 15 minutes. We sat at the coffee bar and ate. It was delicious. The homemade bread was so fresh. The huge meat and cheese was enough to split. We shared pasta and mozzarella tomato salads. We shopped and purchased soup, pizza dough, cheese, bread and so much more.

Yelp
Mazzaro's never disappoints with their service, food selections and ambiance. Their selection of Italian pastries/cookies reminds me of Artuso's Italian Bakery back home in Mount Vernon, NY. The wine and cheese offerings are wonderful as well. The constant coming and going of people shopping at Mazzaro's is proof enough that Quality abounds within the walls of this market!

Yelp
April 10 wine tasting. Picked up a bottle of Donnaluce white wine for $15.99. This wine is rated a 4.2 on Vivino and retails at $31.49 so this is a good deal

Yelp
I would definitely recommend ordering ahead on the Patio-to-go. We got our sandwiches as soon as we arrived and avoided waiting in line. All the sandwiches were fresh and great quality, for $9 you can't beat it. The muffuletta was my favorite as it had a lot going on and was very flavorful. The #07 was great but an added sauce would be helpful as it was a bit dry. The caesar wrap was good, the dressing was very flavorful, wish it had some croutons. The black and white cookie was amazing the best i've ever had (i've had many from new york). We also tried the cannoli and cannoli cake and they were great as well. So excited to go back very soon to try some more food!

Yelp
Have never been disappointed by anything I purchase at Mazzaro's. The sandwiches are incredible and the bakery and pastry items are bomb. Always busy, but worth any inconvenience to shop there.

Yelp
What a market! You want for nothing because everything is available in this huge Italian market. Stopped in for first time to enjoy coffee (proper in every way), pastries and Italian sandwiches. Only suggestion is to offer more indoor seating in hotter months. Friendly staff and priced for a good value.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite markets ever! This place has everything you could imagine and some of the best sandwiches and prepared food in the area. This place is busy daily around lunch so plan for a mad house. Guaranteed you will love this lovely owned business!

Yelp
After spending my whole life in Tampa, I finally visited the famous Mazzaro's Italian Market in Saint Pete. Although my parents used to get meals from there, I had never been to the market myself. All I can say is, WOW. Mazzaro's has so much to offer, with multiple different sections to shop and buy products from. The atmosphere reminds me of Reading Terminal or Chelsea Market. I went an hour before closing time, and it was packed, but it started to quiet down in the last 15 minutes. This place is a true staple of fresh Italian food and homemade pasta; it's an Italian lover's dream. We bought many items while shopping. I had to try the famous chicken parmesan sandwich, which was unbelievably delicious. We also got meats and cheeses to create a charcuterie board at home. I adored the cheese selection and spent over ten minutes staring at the wall trying to decide what I wanted. Lastly, I got some dark chocolate and a cream-filled donut from the bakery for dessert. I truly believe they don't sell one bad item and have something for everyone.

Yelp
This is a great Italian gem in St Petersburg. Anything from Italy can be found here. The wine cellar is amazing. The lunch is great and authentic with the meats and pastas. You can't pass up a trip here.

Yelp
What can I say....this is an amazing Italian market with all you need for your family! Mazzaro's was recommended by a friend, and we were so impressed. It has a great vibe and lots of energy. They offer meats, take out meals, fruit, salads, fresh bread, coffee, desserts, and so much more. Saturdays are their busiest day, and the employees recommend stopping by on Tuesdays. This market has charm on the outside and the inside. Check out my pics below. Enjoy your experience and go and visit Mazzaro's!

Yelp
Mazzaro's is a Bay Area ledgend. And a MUST if you're anywhere in the area. The deli sandwiches are incredible! Highly recommend the Fig & Pig, and the Lobster rolls! The coffee bar features beans that are roasted on sight. Excellent frappe's as well. The bakery/pastry shop is epic! Incredible desserts! Cheeses from all over the world. Fresh made pasta dishes to take home. Italian vinegars and oils. Fresh meat and seafood department. There is too much to list. From the incredible deli, to be outstanding hand, baked, desserts, and pastries, to the fresh, roasted coffee beans, and coffee bar, to the most incredible cheese and wine selection. It's hard to find fault with this place at all. The only downside (if I had to say one) may be the fact that it's too small for how busy it always seems to be. Parking can be a challenge.
google avatar

Kathleen L.

Yelp
We stopped in the other day and were pleased with the small changes that were implemented. The sausage cooler relocated and the change at the bakery now makes it easier to navigate the crowds. Small change, great improvement. After getting our groceries: andouille sausage, hot sausage, long peppers (deli) and a variety of bakery goods, we relaxed with a cup of hot chocolate and a Cappuccino. They have the best butchers, bakers, deli, cheeses, pasta, (fresh and boxed) in the area. The wine selection is also superb. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure each time that we go.

Yelp
AMAZING is an understatement... I was in Florida on vacation a few years ago and had a sandwich from here. It was soo good that I've been thinking about it ever since! So on my most recent visit, I came back and I swear the sandwich is even better than I remember! Easily the BEST italian sub of my life. From the bread to the cold cuts and toppings, everything is top notch! The sub is HUGE, fresh and delicious. And that's just the sub...wait until you see the rest of this market! Imported meats and cheeses, specialty sauces, homemade pasta that you can watch them make by hand - does it get any better than this?? Do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Yelp
Awesome IT market, with an amazing range of products. A terrific bakery and a superb deli with a wide range of foods and prepared selections. Always crowded, a testament to its excellence.
google avatar

Jacky C.

Yelp
Came here as my colleagues decided to get lunch here. They preordered subs and I decided to last second to go, although I didn't preorder with them. Learned the hard way that this place gets super packed and now I understand why you preorder. I managed to be able to order and get my sub fairly quickly, took around 5-10 minutes even during the lunch rush. I ordered the #09 Spicy Sausage, Peppers, Onions & Provolone ($9), which was delicious. Might have finished the sub faster than the amount of time it took for me to place and receive my order. Opps!
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Huge store and so many choices! We were just in town for the weekend and found this great Italian market. We need to come back bc they close at 2:30 on Saturdays which didn't give us much time. The place was packed! Be patient when shopping.
google avatar

Skylar W.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered sandwiches for pickup to try to avoid the Saturday lunch rush -- this is definitely the right choice!! We called and ordered a Chicken Milanese and a Chicken Parm sub, and they told us the wait would be like 30 minutes so we headed to Mazzaro's. We did end up having to wait awhile longer, but it would have been MUCH longer had we gone in and expected to order at the counter. This way, we were able to shop around while the subs were getting made. We ate outside on one of the patio chairs. I loved my chicken milanese - I don't normally order breaded/fried food but this was honestly not super heavy at all! It was scalding hot (perfection) and the dressing on it was super refreshing and tasty. I ended up taking off a lot of the bread but overall, 5/5 sub!
google avatar

Nancy S.

Yelp
First time visiting this awesome grocery, deli and bakery. Super busy but worth the trip. Ordered sandwiches and waited just a short time. We decided to eat on the patio outside. Enjoyed the hot Italian sandwich while my dining companions had a Philly and a Muffaletta. Delicious and everything was very fresh. Plan on doing some grocery shopping next time and try some treats from the bakery.

Yelp
Looooooooove when I get a chance to zip over to Mazzaro's for lunch. Always busy but super quick. So much to pick from.

Yelp
i feel like i'm IN italy/europe every time i come here!! i've found some obscure wines i thought i could never find anywhere! the coffee, the pasta , the pastries, everything is so amazing. it's my happy place. i think they removed their imported german beers but i hope they bring them back soon cause i loved going there to find them!
google avatar

Alivia G.

Yelp
Such a great affordable place to grab lunch! I have never had a bad sandwich ever. Bread and ingredients taste super fresh. Outside patio is spacious and covered. Can get a little hectic at lunch time so I would recommend ordering ahead if you are in a pinch. It is a full grocery store with a great selection they even have a wine room and cute coffee bar to sit at the counter. I always take those that are visiting me here.
google avatar

Devon O.

Yelp
Mazzaro's is an iconic gem in St Pete. Experience is great as long as you always expect chaos! Walk in, grab a ticket, and when they call your number you order. I always get the Fig & Pig which is a sweet and salty sandwich that's perfect. Plenty of quality meats and cheeses. They also have great coffee beans, wine, cheeses, and so much more.
google avatar

Cheyenne B.

Yelp
This market is the closest thing to Italy you can get in the states. The smell reminds me of my visits to Italy. I've only tried the deli sandwiches twice but there is so much to try beyond the deli I know I will be back. I tried the eggplant Parmesan sub during my first visit and it is some of the best I've had - it was thin sliced with a fresh crunch to it. So many eggplant Parmesan dishes are soggy, this was perfectly cooked. On my second visit I had a turkey sub, it was delicious. The signature slaw inside the sandwich gave it a uniqueness not found at your typical deli counter. Can't wait to try more!
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
I hadn't been here in over 15 years, I used to come with my grandfather when I was younger because he lived in the neighborhood. I recently went again and felt the nostalgia as soon as walking in. It's a lot more crowded and packed now, but I understand why...this Italian market is legit. It always has been. They have spices, seasonings, deli, pasta, wine, prosciutto, cheeses, bakery, coffee, meals that are already ready, all you have to do is bake...anything your Italian heart desires. I absolutely love it here and would recommend anyone coming to the area to check out this gem, it's amazing.

Yelp
Mazzaro's is the best. I go there atleast 3 times a week. I am so lucky to live close by haha! Just got their chicken parm on white toast and it was incredible
google avatar

Skye A.

Yelp
It pains me to write this review as I've always been enchanted with Mazzaro's but I hope they will do better in the future. I had visited this unapologetically Italian market years ago and was in awe of their Caprese panini and coffee. I finally made the pilgrimage back this month to experience the same delightful hot sandwich again. This time, the experience did not live up to expectation. The only issue was that someone screwed up my order number. This meant that my hot sandwich was sitting in an enclosed Styrofoam container far too long and the resulting g steam bath made my much anticipated panini soggy on the bottom. Not good. The highlight of my lunch was the perfect latte with oatmilk; so good I didn't need to add any sweetener. As it should be.
google avatar

Lindsay G.

Yelp
10/10 best Italian food in all of St. Petersburg. Their deli has amazing fresh subs, all the employees are extremely friendly and the service is great. The decor feels like you're right in Italy.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is like disney land for anyone who enjoys italian cuisine. You cannot go wrong. I recommend the Italian sub, the biscottis, the pignolis, any pastry, and the espresso beverages.
google avatar

Francisco D.

Yelp
Exciting place! Very intimate room was worth exploring -- tasting, admiring and eating desserts and coffee! What a place! It is easy to know why it was packed and everything looked good. The lattes and desserts were a great highlight and what we took home we nibbled on all day! I will return before I leave St. Pete's.

David A.

Yelp
What an amazing place, if you can dream it Italian food wise they got it ! Had a deli sub #1 and it was out of this world the meat, the cheese, the slaw and vinegar wow what a sandwich and for $9 it absolutely blows any of the chain sub shops away. Can't wait to return and try some of the other goods. Super experience !
google avatar

Yelp
This place is awesome! We pulled up and at first I thought it was a restaurant. The building is beautiful and they have music playing outside. Inside the food selection is amazing. The staff is super friendly! Our son comes here often and said during peak hours they have cheeses to try. They bakery section has delicious selections! We brought home some cheese manicotti for dinner!
google avatar

Yelp
I now delight in taking my daughter here on special trips and when we are in the area. On our most recent visit we got various desserts and my daughter's most favorite "red velvet" cupcake. It was quickly attacked after it was purchased. Mazzaro's is enjoyable for any age. It's a must stop-at when in the area during business hours. Definitely check out their sandwich menu board and prepared food. I do not think you will be disappointed.
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
If you've never been to Mazzaro's you have to go to experience it. I've never been to anything like it. There is a reason Mazzaro's has been a St. Pete/Tampa area staple for so many years. Mazarro's is an Italian market that sells freshly made food, sandwiches, and pre packaged Italian products. You can enjoy a wide selection of desserts, wine, and a coffee bar too. We tried a variety of their sandwiches and desserts and enjoyed them all. The wait for getting a freshly made sandwich can be a bit chaotic though, they could definitely stream line that system. If you've never been before be aware of how crowded it can get around lunch time and especially on the weekends. I highly recommend going early in the day to get good parking and avoid the crowds. Other than that is an amazing place with delicious food!
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
Wow. It's huge. Restaurant, deli, wine store, pasta store, meat market, seafood market, prepared foods, bakery...all under one roof. The selection of food items is unparalleled. Expect big crowds, potentially long wait times and spending well beyond what you came in for. We didn't stay to eat but it is all arranged in a comfortable way. Service was prompt and efficient and lines moved quickly. Numbers used at the market counters. We bought cold cuts, some Italian jarred specialties and some hard to find French sausage ( Rosette de Lyons), veal cutlets, and more. It's fortunate for us it's a 50 minute drive each way!
google avatar

Meghan T.

Yelp
Mazzaro's is an awesome market to visit if you want a quick and enjoyable day trip in the Tampa area. It's always packed on the weekends, so parking can be difficult. But it's well worth the effort! It's a fun market because they sell grocery items but also have different prepared food sections, such as the sandwich counter, bakery, and cafe. We got a chicken parm and a hot Italian sandwich. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced around $10. We also got a cappuccino and some biscotti and rainbow cookies for dessert. That was my first time trying rainbow cookies and they were simply delicious! The staff were helpful and could provide good recs for food based on your taste preferences. Overall an awesome place to get great food at reasonable prices. And you feel like you've been transported out of Tampa on a fun Italian trip!

Yelp
It's been a long time since we have visited Mazzaro's so we came on a Monday around 1pm. I was surprised how packed it was for a Monday because I know for sure Saturdays would be a no go for us. We split a chicken parmesan sandwich. The order counter was chaotic and you definitely need to get the ticket to order once you know for sure what you want. They call the numbers fast. Then when they call your order number once your food is ready, it sounds like BINGO calling random numbers non stop. You really need to listen. That's too much for me on a Monday lol! We went in the back outside and paid for our food. They have fans but it's still very stuffy in there. Went back inside and found two high chairs to eat next to the coffee bar. High chairs suck for me bc I'm short, but there's no other choice inside. I ordered an iced amaretto latte and the ones making the coffee were very nice. They have baked and dessert items which I checked out, a wine room, cheese cave, and seafood and meat in front. It's a happening place and it's pretty cool inside. Outside they have their own parking lot and funky statues and art that you may like. Across from them is their gift shop. This place is def a spectacle and people love it for the experience. For me, it's ok and I'll be done until I know someone comes to town and wants that Italian Market experience!

Yelp
I would say Mazzaro's is a St. Pete staple but it's more of a Florida staple if you ask me. Anytime I am in the area I make a point to stop in even if I don't need anything at that moment. It's always worth it. Maybe not the terrible parking situation or jacked up prices otherwise Mazzaro's has got it going on. In true Italian fashion they are closed Sundays so expect a mad house all day Saturday. It blows my mind how constantly busy they are. And rightfully so. The food is delicious and homemade. Did I say homemade? It's a meat market, fish, home made pasta, bakery, deli, wine store, cheese, pre made meals, produce, I mean it's truly a one stop shop for all of your authentic Italian meals. I suggest coming with a plan as it can get hectic and fast. Or don't. Either way take it all in and be sure to visit every inch of the building.

Yelp
Overwhelmed is the first word I would use to describe this market.... But in a good way! The market has all your Italian cravings and needs. I found some yummy desserts, along with delicious made-to-order sandwiches and a cute coffee bar. I didn't get any of the homemade pasta due to the line but the lobster ravioli was flying off the shelves. The service was quick and friendly when I ordered my sandwich. I waited no more than 8 mins from the moment I put in my order for a hot sandwich. Was it good? You bet! Massive too! I was able to spilt it to three meals. Overall, I recommend the market if you're in the area or want to adventure out to try something new.

Yelp
Ok, I'll admit, I walked in here thinking it was going to be cheesy and low quality food, but OMG I was wrong. I cannelloni laugh at my mistakes. This place is no secret, the number one restaurant on Tripadvisor means it's popular with tourists, but it's been well earned. From the bakery, to the sandwich shop and to the market, everything wall to wall is sauce-some ;) I went to try a muffuletta sub (my personal barometer for good Italian) which first of all is massive for $9, but also downright delicious. Run, not walk to this place.

Yelp
Best Italian market around & it's an actual experience to go there ! Feels authentic Or at least the closest thing you're going to get to it in Florida. Coffees, bad ass bakeries, bad ass selection of pasta scenery can be crowded but worth it! not just like Publix where you walk around & wish you could buy things.

Yelp
This place is pretty cool as it is a deli, grocery, bakery, and wine shop all under one roof. I got here about 11:30 AM and it was jampacked and I had to park down the street because the parking lot was full (as were the streets surrounding the deli!). If you're ordering a deli sandwich, make sure that you know what you want before you take an order ticket. The menu is on the wall behind the counter. The order takers don't waste any time and quickly move the orders. I ordered my lunch to-go. I got a #1 sandwich with a side of pasta salad (they have an incredible amount of fresh side salads from which to choose). Sandwich was huge, you definitely can split this with someone. I only ate half my sandwich and gave the other half away. Love the flavors of the sandwich, especially the Italian slaw on it, but the bread roll was a bit much for me as it was too thick for my preference. Pasta salad was fresh and tasty, but for me, the piece de resistance was the pistachio cannoli - man, was this good!

Yelp
I was told by a local that I had to try Mazzaro's. They were right. This place is over the top good. The first visit I tried their meatball sub with a vodka sauce. It was amazing. Don't let the lines scare you off. Mazzaro's Excellent staff handles their high volume flawlessly. I can't wait until the next time I go back.

Yelp
The bakery and coffee was incredible at Mazzaro's and me and family go every year when we visit our friends in Florida. The service was awesome and everyone was very nice. We talked to the wine guy at Mazzaro's for a long time and learned so much about European wines. The ambiance was my personal favorite part due to the wonderful decor and fun decorations, my son loved the big shark in the meat/fish area It was great.

Yelp
Sandwiches are so good and reasonably priced. Mine was the panini of the day eggplant parm - huge and delicious. Hubby had a steak and cheese. We ordered ahead and did the patio pickup.
