I recently visited M.Bird at Armature Works and had a mixed but mostly positive experience. While the food and drinks were absolutely amazing—definitely the highlight—there were a few hiccups with the service. Despite having a reservation, our table wasn’t ready on time, and the service felt a bit slow throughout the evening. That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was incredible. The views from the restaurant are stunning, making it a great spot for a stylish night out. However, this place seems more suited for a younger crowd—it didn’t feel very kid-friendly or ideal for older guests, especially in the evenings when the vibe leans more toward a trendy, social scene. Overall, if you’re looking for delicious food, great drinks, and a beautiful setting, M.Bird is worth a visit—just be prepared for potential wait times and a lively, adult-oriented atmosphere.

It’s St. Patty’s Day on the River! This place was packed with people and the restaurant handled it so well! They have a security guard watching so nobody gets out of control with fun. Thank you! The food was delicious! We loved the atmosphere! You can’t beat rooftop with friends with the green river, sunshine, and awesome food! We will definitely come back again.

Victoria and Josh were amazing at the bar! Their recommendations and how they made their drinks were top tier! Victoria was really creative with her drink while Josh was here with his bomb vibes and Miami energy. Definitely coming back only because of them 💗

Had reservations right before sunset. Service was good, the food was great, and the atmosphere was spot on. Music wasn't too loud, as people could still have conversations at a normal level. Would recommend for a solid chill evening or even a good date night.

Come for the epic views!!! I will preface this review with, I have only been here late at night for drinks and dancing, but we always have an amazing time! The DJs are always great, the bartenders are friendly, and the espresso martini always hits the spot. The Tampa skyline views are truly amazing. The later you come, you may have to wait in line but its worth the wait.

The best panoramic view of downtown Tampa. We had dinner at Oak & Ola. Then arrived here for drinks & the skyline. The drinks are top notch & the view at night is breathtaking especially with a nice breeze. The service is fast at the bar & place is packed to the max Friday / Saturday nights.

I loved my drinks here to move this up to a five. There is a pretty young and bro-y crowd on a Wednesday night after 10 p.m. I'm surprised how many people were here. We were able to get a table, but it was pretty busy. I loved my drinks and the views of Tampa are pretty nice. I got the silk and sage which is grey goose peach and rosemary, lemon, apricot liqueur, and sage simple. It was delicious! I would absolutely get it again. I also tried my friend's chai after dark, which is cazadores reposado, coffee liqueur, demerara, espresso, chai. This is like an espresso martini, but with a strong chai flavor. I actually prefer it to an espresso martini and definitely would get it again. I did try their espresso martini, which was pretty good, but I think the chai one is better (or at least more unique). There are so many other drinks on the menu I'd like to try. If you're at Armature works, you should check this place out.

There is a minimum when you reserve a space like this with a large group! Came here for a networking event and the service was absolutely incredible. Wonderful views of the river and the lawn. Our server was so sweet and helpful and we were such a large party. She was fantastic. Her name started with A and she had medium brown hair! The thugshot turned into a cocktail was my favorite drink and my favorite meal on the menu was the steak and chimichurri sauce. The minimum was either 50 or 55 per head, which isnt so bad with all things considered: great drinks, food, service, and views.

The vibes at M Bird are fantastic. I had a great time here, and the food was definitely a highlight. I tried the steak frites and the quesadilla, and both were yummy. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy and flavorful. The quesadilla had the right balance of textures and flavors. Overall, it's a great spot for both the atmosphere and the food.

00000000 is my rating! This place scammed me of my money and now they won't refund it to me. I came here the past Friday with my friend we got two drinks a thing of truffle fries and still somehow our bill was 150 we paid it had a decent time. I was just charged last night so five days later for another hundred dollars I call to see if I can get a refund because I did not spend another hundred dollars and they said that it was another bill with food and drinks on it And it had crab dip and drinks. I don't even drink they put someone else's tab on my card and now they won't refund me do not let this place scam you.

Trendy roof top. Great music from the dj. Quick bar and courteous service with on point drinks. Will definitely be back!

Such a fun and vibrant rooftop in Tampa!! Come earlier in the day to enjoy sunshine and refreshing drinks, at sundown to see the beautiful sunset along the skyline, or at night for a popping vibe with a dj and dancing. It definitely gets packed at night, so don't be surprised by the crowd which definitely skews younger. I've visited this spot mainly for drinks and it's always a great time. I enjoy coming during the afternoon to catch a seat along the edge and people watch at Armature, and at nighttime it's a fun party spot. Definitely on the pricier side but drinks are always quality.

This place was all about the vibe! 21 and up rooftop bar. Great music. Great views. Great drinks. Didn't order food this trip but someone next to us had truffle fries that looked great. Can't wait to return!!

Spacious rooftop bar located at armature works. Beautiful views of Tampa Bay. We ordered some cocktails and THE GRAZING BOARD (artichoke & crab dip. hummus. smashed avocado. layered dip of pico de gallo, queso & black bean. pita. adobo tortilla chips. vegetable crudite). There was a DJ and the music was not too loud. We could talk and hear each other while still enjoying the music. Great vibes!

I usually stay away from M. Bird because their bartenders have attitude when l've went (3-4) other times, but i wanted to show my friend the place because I wanted to dande to some house. so l went with my friend and i was squeezing through a crowd and a girl was yelling at everyone walking by "don't touch my man" and i told her that i was just trying to get by. she threatened to fight me and said that she was friends with security and that i had two seconds to walk away. Then the man told me "she'll beat your ass walk away" I turned around and kept dancing. her boyfriend then continued to dance flicking his hands through my hair and pushing me out of the way. i ignored it. then i was approached by security and was told to leave. They grabbed me and my friend. I asked if they checked security footage and they said yes, and that there were complaints about me by the di, the bathroom attendant, owner and management. and was escorted out. I doubt they checked footage. and kicked me out, instead of the girl actually threatening to fight people. They also tried to grab people that we were talking to, but didn't arrive with , that weren't even anywhere near me, but by my friend that i'd brought. Neither of us, or any one that or any one that i speak to about this, will be ever coming back, The pictures are blurry but they are the girl, the man, and the security guard that first approached me. i also have video of the security man that escorted us out.

I would have given 5 stars had I been waited on sooner at the bar (I was sadly juggled by three different bartenders till one finally commited), but otherwise it was decent and their Goggle Pay worked. I was at least happy to have a new bottle of wine opened for me though (but that shouldn't be the highlight of my visit..) and the view was nice.

I LOVE M.Bird! It's such a trendy rooftop bar in the heart of armature works. The view of the Tampa skyline is amazing. The drinks are strong and the food is good. I always recommend coming here if you're visiting or new to Tampa. It does get busy so I do recommend making a reservation in advance.

Went there for a friend's birthday and waited 15minutes for the hostess who never shower up. Finally asked the bartender if we could seat ourselves and he said yes and he'd send a server to our table. The server never arrived and I had to go back to the bar to get menus for us. By the time a server finally came over the kitchen was closed so we couldn't eat. Got a drink anyways and it was very watery. Overall the staff was rude, drinks were bad, and there were cockroaches on the floor.

What a strange place. I think if you're looking for a casual rooftop literally any other option in Tampa would be better suited for your needs. The dj was playing house music the whole time and the crowd was odd. Some of the patrons were aggressive but the security handled the situation. The drinks were ok but the majority of the area is blocked off for VIP. I've heard so many negative things about the place but went in with an open mind and should have listened to what I heard. Its supposedly a different atmosphere during the day but from my experience I do not recommend M Bird at night.

This spot is beautiful! My family and I were on vacation when we visited. The restaurant has an interior with a gorgeous view of the city as well as a rooftop. The servers were quick, friendly and very informative about their menu. The food and drinks did not disappoint either! If you are in the area, I would definitely check it. They were also located on top of what appeared to be like a mall/food court/ market area which was fun to explore afterwards.

We had a reservation at 3:30 in the afternoon. We were greeted by the hosts and let them know we had a reservation. Where they planned on sitting us under an umbrella outside was being occupied by someone that just sat themselves there. The only place to put us was directly in the sun since other guest kept getting drinks from the bar and seating themselves. So apparently you don't need to speak to the host you're better off seating yourself to get the shade. The bathrooms were horrendous with no toilet paper in any stalls and trash all over the floor. It wasn't busy enough to justify this lack of care for the restrooms. Honestly seems like they are going for a club vibe then a nice bar to grab an overpriced drink and a bite to eat.

Chloe was amazing! We had two rounds of cocktails sitting at the bar for a relaxing Tuesday evening. Chloe was very helpful on drink selections and liquor knowledge was high!

Sometimes a little math problem does the trick: Half of the rooftop patio reserved for a special wedding after party + Open bar with bartenders slinging drinks of all kinds + Insanely delicious bites (wings, sliders, fries, etc.) + Cozy booth and table seating from the bar to the balcony + Lush greens, white strung lights & one hell of a view overlooking the water + Bottle service offered at each alcove of seating areas + Top notch service serving all our needs - The worst bathroom location and line I've seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A wonderful experience at M.Bird for an afterparty!

In used to love this place but this girl was so rude cut no reason.... If I were to elaborate I would get kicked off Yelp. Add my mom would say "if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at at all.

Been a few times to the rooftop bar. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the space is clean and well maintained, drinks are always spot on, always an enjoyable experience.

This rooftop bar is actually cool and a fun place to visit. On this Saturday at 4:30 PM they already had a DJ blasting music, making it impossible to have a conversation across a table. That was a real bummer and perhaps a little too early for a night club ambiance. Julia was our server and she was great. Despite the yelling back and forth. The truffle fries and the Jerk chicken tacos are both pretty delicious. I would have given four stars if the audible ambiance were a little better in the middle part of the afternoon.

Great rooftop bar located in Armature Works. They do have a DJ every Thursday night and Saturday at 4:30pm. I haven't had dinner or a full-blown meal but their crab dip and fries are pretty good. They also do make great cocktails as well.

Great cocktails, great vibe, and great location! They make some really good espresso martinis here! There is soft seating if you want to reserve a VIP section. The views are really cool if you're interested in Tampa. I've been here twice, both times were great. This is a fun place to grab drinks, with your friends. There is a DJ. My only complaint is that Antonio, one of the security guards discriminates. Long story short, I was with my husband, standing near a "VIP table" my drink was on the table, I was standing next to it, Antonio walked over and told me you can't have your drink on this table, remove your drink! " i took my drink off of the table and stood in the same vicinity. Five minutes later, I saw a group of girls come over and they started to sit in the chairs at the table that my drink was sitting on, it was only two girls, they were Caucasian, if you're interested, I'm African-American, I waited to see if Antonio would tell the girls who were sitting at the table, in the chairs to get up, and he didn't tell them to get up off the table, and they did not buy vip. So I watched. I thought that I was getting discriminated against, I felt that I was being treated differently. I saw it happen with my own eyes, as a black woman I put a cocktail on a table top, and then I see two white women sit at the same table And enjoy their cocktails. So I approach Antonio, and ask him "why did you tell me I couldn't even put my drink on the table while you allow these two girls to sit at the table." He said "hold on hold on" and proceed to kick the girls away from the table. It's the principal for me, I don't appreciate being treated different and being embarrassed for place a drink on the table. @girls y'all were so cute. Sorry lol

If you're looking for a great vibe, great drinks, and great food- M.Bird is the way to go. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed at any of my visits. I love asking the bartenders for drink suggestions and recommendations and going when there's live music and overlooking Downtown Tampa is always an amazing vibe and view. If you're looking for a place that has everything you want and more, has good prices and options, make sure you check them out!

Horrendous parking situation. Slow service. Nice view. I called and asked for a reservation for Saturday, Dec 23 at 5:15pm. I received the confirmation email and text. When we arrived the hostess said they don't take Saturday reservations... after speaking with her for a couple minutes she was able to put us at a couch outside with a view of the water. The holiday boat parade was going on so we wanted to have a view of that. Waited about 10 minutes for a server to come and and tell us she would go get waters while we decided. Another 10 minutes to actually get the water so we made sure we knew what to order for when she came with the waters. Ordered the chips and dip and the other nacho app. The chips came out soon after. The other app did not arrive until after we were about done with our entrees so we sent it back and had them take it off the bill. I had the Mac n cheese. It was decent, pico had a little spice to it. Other people had the jerk tacos which arrived with warm plates but almost cold meat. Drinks were decent. View was nice.

M. Bird is located in a very cool area with lots to eat/drink and a great view. We stopped in for some drinks and they had some very unique and yummy cocktails. Be prepared for cocktails and drinks on the pricier side. The rooftop was very aesthetic and cute for photo opportunities. The view was also great! The music was a bit loud for conversation and the service was decent. We didn't stay to see the night life side of the rooftop but for an early evening drink, this was a nice spot!

Love the drinks, atmosphere and everything else in between. Has become a staple when we go with family and friends. Overlooks the hillsborough river and you have a nice view of Tampa! Absolutely wonderful.

Make sure you are aware when you reserve table. When you have table reserved, you have to sign document stated you need to spend $550 minimum. If your bill don't reach to $550, waiter will let you know it haven't reach to $550. Just be aware.

A woman that worked there kicked us out because she barged into us and we asked if she worked there she responded very rude and had the security escort us out just because of that. Very disappointed.

Dropped in on Sunday for some Sunday Funday eats!! We were seated immediately and our server Brendan was extremely knowledgeable of the drink and food menu and offered recommendations when I asked! Brendan was so attentive and helped us with all our needs! Now onto the food: Highly recommend the jerk chicken egg rolls! Perfect balance of flavor and just enough spice! Perfection! And the espresso martinis ( cafe contraband) is a hit! They use rum, which I prefer in my espresso martinis. So smooth!! If you are an espresso martini fan, give it a try! I will def recommend with the rooftop views!

Really didn't have a good time, this is my second time here and both times the food was very bland and not seasoned. My partner drinks espresso martinis everywhere we go and this is the worst one he ever had terrible

Great rooftop bar located at the top floor at armature Works. We came in here with a group just to have some drinks on a Saturday afternoon. They have some great specialty drinks. I had the Billy Ocean water: lime and coconut concoction with Diplomatico Planas Rum, Rum Haven Rum, Giffard Blue Curacao, Coco Lopez, lime, orgeat. Service was good. It does have beautiful views looking out over the Hillsboro River and the skyline of Tampa. I have not tried any food here, but they do offer food.

Love the vibe! The view is incredible and it's such a cute place. Great drinks and the food was so good! Had a bunch of apps and loved it all. Was a little understaffed. Definitely coming back!

Come here on a Thursday! The best staff and the best music! Now that it's cooling down it's so much more enjoyable. At the bar, Cody and Josh DO NOT MISS. Their customer service is some of the best I've experienced in Tampa and the fact that they can riff a mocktail for me on a busy night is much appreciated. Love the vibe, love the music, love the drinks but I come here for the bartenders. Service with a smile matters people!!

M.Bird was a big vibe. Came all the way from Louisville, KY to try it. It did not miss the rooftop views were priceless food was great. Atmosphere was a total vibe. Service was emaculant.

The place has a beautiful view of the Tampa Riverwalk, it is a rooftop in armature work. We went for a birthday celebration and I only tried a drink called La Cazadora based on Mezcal which was delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant and fancy. They don't have many food options and the appetizers are no different than any other bar-restaurant. But if what you are looking for is a place to share with friends, have good drinks and a good atmosphere, this is your place.

Celebrated two coworkers promotions with my team and enjoyed drinks and some apps. The tuna nachos were sooo good! I ordered the Mai tai that used to come with a lotus flower but is still beautiful with their garnish of a different flower, the waitress made sure it was just as delicious as it was on the menu before. We sat outside and it was the perfect weather to enjoy the view of downtown and the ambiance of the bar. Another great time at M. Bird!

Armature works is a super busy upscale food court but on a Saturday afternoon, head to M. bird. Thre rooftop bar and restaurant serves brunch as well as lunch and dinner. The drinks were great in the perfect weather we were having. Views are A+ Parking can be challenging depending on the time you go. They do have a few lots and valet for $10.

Before you enter you need to be properly dressed, nice attire, security checks ID's and they pat the men down. We went during the day and stayed until they played the house music. It was so much fun! Let me tell ya'll the bartender knew how to get us lit. She recommended the house specialty shot, snoop dog (drop it like it's hot) and gave us a free one. On top of that we got cocktails, thank God for water! We already ate, but I was starting to feel good so we ordered hot fried sliders and truffle fries. They were so bomb, I nearly scarfed down the whole plate. My brother laughed at me, and asked me where it all went. So I made him eat some too, since he was the designated driver. Unfortunately our bartender left and we got a new one, but she ended up giving us a free signature shot as well. Talk about feeling really good haha The ambiance is gorgeous, you can see the water from the roof top, bustling with people and good music. So much fun I definitely recommend 10/10

A Bartender from armature works recommended this roof top bar. Sad that it's raining pretty hard but thankfully that they have covered area and still able to enjoy the view. I got my drink called "after thot" haha it's a funny name but it's a very tasty drink. It tasted like sweet grapefruit and didn't taste like alcohol at all. I'm not sure is that a strong drink but I definitely felt buzz and tipsy after even though I had a gin and tonic beforehand. But I definitely highly recommend this drink. We loved the view and got to see lightning while sitting there. The whole place is very cute, I can't imagine how busy it can get during the weekend or sunny day. Our bartender was super nice to us. She recommended my drink, and she gave us some knowledge about tequila. Definitely want to see her again when we visit this place again!

Honestly if I could give this place 6 stars I would. Our waitress was amazing (until she left the second guy seemed like he hated his life). Our food came out as it was done vs when everyone's was done which was nice because NOTHING was cold and it was all super yummy and flavorful. I was happy because sometimes when you have to pay more money for food that looks good its not always good but the quality and flavors were worth the price. The drinks were the perfect mix and were sweet and strong enough. As well as being aesthetically pleasing it tasted great. The music and atmosphere was IMMACULATE. The DJ knew exactly how to do his job he had throwbacks mixed with current music and it was just a whole vibe. I would absolutely go back I specifically want to go back for brunch and see how that is. Please be aware that we have heard the wait times are normally pretty long but we went and had no wait and got to sit outside on the rooftop and not under the cover in the dark. I was super pleased but know that I have heard of friends/family not having as good of an experience as we did.

denied me for having slides on but allowing others in with slides cause they "bought a table" Bro had adidas slides on and got in when I have Gucci slides worth more then their whole table Joke of a place And yes before you ask why I have Gucci slides and can't afford a "table" it's 1am I'm not paying hundreds for a table even if I'm a billionaire. I'm from Wisconsin and had no clue of the dress code.. ubered all the way from Madeira beach cause this seemed like a cool place. $50 Uber They waited til I was in the front of the line passing multiple employees before anyone even told me One of the security guards even said at the front of the line "man someone should've told you before hand I know you been waiting this whole time" Waste of time bunch of brokies

M. Bird is upstairs in the Colonial Heights amateur works building. There are several signs when you walk in about not wearing hoodies or sweatpants but plenty of people were wearing both so the rules are pretty loose. I went during lunchtime and they told me there was a wait. Walking around I saw several tables empty but marked reserved. After waiting about 30 minutes for a tables I was sat at one of the reserved tables that had been free the whole time. With how poorly organized the seating was the drinks and food were fast and pretty delicious. The Afterthot and Billy Ocean water were the best drinks. With beautiful colors they were both very flavorful, fresh, and boozy. The truffle fries were crispy and a good bite. Great views on the 2nd floor, great cocktails, but the seating and wait time was silly.

It has trendy vibes and obviously it's popular with early 20 something's. The seating options early were confusing- we had no idea where we could sit and it seemed it was mostly standing and like 3 small tables. We had a pregnant friend with us so we were in search of seats and no staff really indicated there was anywhere to sit. We ordered lemon drops and aperol spritz's- shots were good but aperol spritz's were a bit too aperol heavy. Prices were expensive and bathrooms on first floor so you have to fight past the line to get back upstairs. Nice views but seemed too trendy for us.
